Metal_Jaws
I was wondering if many people actually enjoyed the game collection and tried to beat all of the games, or just mailed it back to gamefly like most of the planet... Kinda funny they are now also re-re-releasing these games on PSN so you can buy them again. I hope theTG-16 games come as well, and not just the Genesis ones... Zelos
I don't have my platinum yet but I don't even think of returning it. Well, it's a really nice collection to have to play when a friend comes over. Nothing beats playing sidescrolling beat 'em ups like Golden Axe with a friend. DMCV
I'm waiting for it to arrive then im diving straight into some Sonic and Knuckles!!!
DJbruce92
I bought it but haven't played it since I platinumed it, Though I won't sell it even though I can get the games off PSN for free due to PSN+, It's a fun collection to keep around. chinny10
I agree I think its one of those games that you keep for the sake of it due to the fun you can have when your friends come over. Theres only a few games that I liked anyways from the mega drive but its those games that make it worth keeping and playing
Metal_Jaws
I think the "save at any time" feature is a big plus! Really helps the replayability and fun factor of many of these games.
Buddy
I bought it for the games. Its replay value is only moderate, but you never know when you will get the urge to play classic turn based RPG( shining force) or some hack n slash classic fun ( golden axe). i also discovered some great games I never played before in bonanza bros and a guilty pleasure in Flicky.... Storm-Iz-SiK
I played everything that I played when I was younger plus a few extras I enjoyed. I guess i'll do the same on the PS3 version when I get around to buying it
GoatySim
Yes Flicky was strangely addictive. Streets of Rage one still a classic and I was quite happy to play through Sonic 2 again. Good fun.
GhettoAgent
Don't think i'd ever take this back. Playing through the classic games feels nice, especially as you can now actually complete them without having to spend an entire day or two on it due to the save feature. The amount of times i'd get through 80% of Asterix or Sonic on the master system/mega drive and never get to complete it lol. It's also nice to have something different in my game collection. Great game, not keen on all of the titles on it though but still
Chopin6868
i just started playing this again thanks to the psn outage. some games i didnt even touch before turned out to be really good, dynamite headdy is awesome! (kinda like gunstar heros but freakier) next will be a walkthrough of shining force or story of thor, but yeah the best are beat 'em ups in co-op mode! i could never sell this collection, even if i rarely play it
ROCKZO_BAND
So far I've beaten Sonic 3 and Sonic 3D Blast. I even took the time to beat MBM on Hardest! ( MBM Took a good 4 hours )
GhettoAgent
So far I've beaten Sonic 3 and Sonic 3D Blast. I even took the time to beat MBM on Hardest! ( MBM Took a good 4 hours ) MBM is probably the hardest Mega Drive/Genesis game i ever played. But fortunately i managed to fluke my way through it first time round largely due to the fact i played it quite a lot as a kid lol. Oh i was such a cool child
JSoup
I've played a majority of these games before at one point or another. I mostly bought the collection so I could have all four Phantasy Star games on one system (I've been meaning to play this series for a while now). That and I'm a sucker for compilations. Rabbit Exorcist
I find the games too hard! I used to be able to finish at alot of these games back in the day but these days I can barely get past the first or second levels!!
Ruldra
First thing I did after booting up the disc was beating Decapattack in one sitting. Only after that I proceeded to check the remaining games.
Ulytimate Destruction
So far I've beaten Sonic 3 and Sonic 3D Blast. I even took the time to beat MBM on Hardest! ( MBM Took a good 4 hours ) MBM is a hard son-of-a-bitch. I might give my self the goal of beating it, I'd have amazing relexes!.
Rawra
I didn't fully complete every game but I went through the whole list a few times before even aiming for a trophy, was great fun especially Streets of Rage which I remember playing as a kid . zzamaro
I only finished Sonic . Now the second but I'll stop with there.
One More Thing
I played through all of the Streets of Rages, I'd forgotten how much fun they were. I would've played Sonic 1 and 2 but I just finished them recently when they were put up on psn.
Stork77
I finished Phantasy Star 1, 2, and 4. They were the reason I bought this in the first place. I always meant to go back and play a few more but never got around to it.
DXFoleyALF27
I only got this game for the original Phantasy Star. Have to admit, I really only played anything else just to get the platinum.
MoonsideKid
I got this just to have the Phantasy Stars. I also play around on the sonic games quite often .
jimil
To be brutally honest, I only got this game purely for the easy platinum. I did play some of the games a bit more and I was thinking about playing some of the classic RPG's but I think I'd rather dedicate more of my time to trophy hunting for the moment. Even though this is a fantastic trip down memory lane, I wonder about spending the time.
