luffybuggy
Modern games don't have less zones. In fact, they probably have more. They don't even have zones anymore they're just levels. The modern games are very much longer than the mega drive games.
bed stuy fly
I consider my self a retro gamer and i love all the old sonic games. i started disliking sonic (not hate) after sonic adventure (i also hate sonic 3d blast and sonic r). i felt sega being "commercializing" sonic is what killed him. Sonic is truely a platformer. the 3d aspect lacks replayability to me and the stories are all so bland. sonic generations is the first game since sonic adventure that is awesome to me. the story was trash but the game is awesome. now i did some research bc me and my wife were talking how they should make more like that. the producer for sonic says that generations will be the last 2d/ platformer game sonic will be in. it was only made like that bc its an anniversary game. all he wants to do is get new innovations bc people dont want to play platformers bc they know what to expect because its sonic. they want 3d games. so i may not buy another sonic game after this if that is the case:c
luxxx
Sonic CD isn't a modern Sonic so your thread should end here.
