Get Ready Trophy Hunters! 3, 2, 1...GO! - Introduction: Sonic and the gang are back in a sequel to the 2010's great game, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, only this time, you're not just racing in the car. You will be racing transformed. Your vehicle will transform to a boat or a plane in parts of the track. The first game Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, can be platinumed in a weekend because it's an easy platinum and an easy game. Sonic fans complained how easy this game was (me included) and Sumo Digital took notes. Sumo Digital then came up with this sequel, which is much harder than the first game. Hard and Expert difficulties in this game are tough and the AI won't go easy on you at all, even when you're in last place. Lastly, the expert ghosts are going to pull your hair out. Sumo has changed the game. This is no longer a kart racing game like the first. It's now an arcade racer, so don't expect the game to play exactly the same as the first. If you are after the platinum, the modes you will be spending most of your time are World Tour, Grand Prix and Time Trials. Online shouldn't take you longer than an hour. 4 controllers are required to get the platinum. Now before we move on this is very important. If you are after the platinum, I highly recommend you BUY the limited/bonus edition of the game and NOT rent. You'll get this platinum a lot easier with the Limited/Bonus DLC installed. Gameplay: The most noticeable addition to the game is the three different modes of racing: land, sea, and air, a combined-like concept previously used in Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart 7. Racers' cars can now change into a plane when in the air and a boat when on water, after passing through a transformation gate. All-Star Moves and other items return. There are new weapons, such as ice which freezes opponents and a baseball glove that catches an attack from behind. There are also 17 new tracks, plus four favorite tracks from the previous game. Players are able to earn XP points to put towards a leveling system, which can potentially unlock vehicle mods and other items. The more XP points are collected, the better characters become on the track. Here are a few notes: When you first start up the game, do not start Grand Prix or Time Trials. Start up World Tour (or online if you want to get the online stuff out of the way). Expert difficulty is not unlocked until you unlock Superstar Showdown in World Tour. You don't have to beat all Expert Ghosts to get your Triple Star License (But you need to unlock trophy Yokozuna for platinum). Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay Bonus/Limited Edition DLC may have screwed the game up (in a good way) and you'll see why when you read through this guide. It's recommended you get the DLC to help you get the platinum faster. 1 - Complete Career World Tour This is probably where you will be spending most of your time in (well, maybe). You have to get collect all 232 stars in this mode. It's impossible though to get all 232 stars on Hard, you can only get them all on Expert. However, Expert difficulty is not unlocked from the start. You have to unlock Superstar Showdown Tour (a trophy will be unlocked when you get there) to unlock Expert. You can also unlock Expert through Grand Prix, but it's recommended you go through the World Tour. When you unlock Expert and Superstar Showdown, don't continue with that tour. Start all over again from Sunshine Coast Tour on Expert, completing all challenges all the way to Superstar Showdown. Once you starred all the challenges to Superstar Showdown, then can start Superstar Showdown and finish that tour on Expert. By completing this section, you should have earned these trophies: Racing Transformed (Come on, you can't tell me you'll never get and use an All-Star throughout!) You Got The Horn (If you stick with one character for 2-4 events) Meteor Strike Rank B Rank A Rank S De Rol Le Credits Hardcore All Stars You should try and aim for other gameplay trophies while you get a chance. Some trophies will unlock without you even knowing. 2 - Complete Expert Grand Prix Since you got 232 stars, you should know by now which character and mod you should use and you are most comfortable with. Choose Expert (S-Class) on all the championships and come 1st in all. You don't have to come 1st on every race, but you must have 1st on the final standings. You'll unlock Mirror along the way (you need to complete that too) and once you complete everything here you'll also unlock the full character roster. By completing this section, you should have earned these trophies: Holosseum Racing Hero Gale Racer Nomad SEGA All-Star Takes AGES Welcome To The Fantasy Zone The King of Speed Welcome To Victory Lane 3 - Online Trophies PS3: You can do this step anytime, but I put this as step 3 anyway. The most important trophy you'll need to get here is Team Sonic. Again, the platinum is not possible without 4 controllers. Team Sonic can be boosted with 3 people. More info under the trophy. Vita: You can do this step anytime, but I put this as step 3 anyway. The most important trophy you'll need to get here is Team Sonic. Team Sonic can be a pain if you don't boost. More info under the trophy. The rest of the online trophies has to be done in match-making mode. This includes winning at least one race. By completing this section, you should have: Team Sonic Race Leader Newtron 4 - Time Trials, SEGA Super Star & Clean up Now this is the hard part. Many people unlocked SEGA Super Star trophy in different ways. I had to unlock more mods (for some reason) on the Vita version than on the PS3, but it varies. Time Trials is where your skills have put to a real test. You cannot unlock SEGA Super-Star without doing some Expert runs. There is a trophy Yokozuna which asks you to beat all ghosts including Expert, but because of the DLC, it had glitched the trophy up in a good way and you can unlock it by just beating 1 expert ghost. More info under that trophy. Still though, you can't run away from beating at least SOME expert ghosts. More info in SEGA Super Star on what you should do to unlock this trophy. However, meanwhile I suggest while unlocking new mods, you unlock all other trophies you couldn't get before. Once you complete this stage, you'll receive your shiny new platinum. By completing this stage you should have: Parts Shop Sonic Drift Party House of the Dead (PS3 Only) Swirling Ranger! (Vita Only) Tornado Magic Second Spin Dash Scud Racer Blast Processing Fighting Viper Catcher Pitcher Eyes on the Road Cosmic Smash SUMO Wrestled Vyse The Legend Battle Outrunner Shadow Step Genesis Justice Shot Crack Down Ax Battler Mega Jet Drift More Arrow of Light Lock on Sight Buzz Bomber Yokozuna SEGA Super Star Ultimate All-Star Edited November 8, 2022 by Viper Fixed spacing issue. StarlightSammy
Ultimate All-Star Earn every Trophy in the game Collect all 51 trophies in this game to receive this! Just like any other trophy game, if you have this, congratulations! Racing Transformed Go All-Star! You shouldn't aim for this trophy at all because it requires no effort. Just keep on picking items until you get an All-Star. The announcer will shout out "All-Star!" when you pick it up and the item icon is a sparkling star. Use it, and the trophy will unlock. Parts Shop Win an event with a Mod equipped Using Metal Sonic (if you have the DLC) is the fastest way to get the trophy. If not, level up at least one character (by collecting XP which you receive at the end of each race/event) (You Got the Horn! should unlock) then go to the Character Selection screen and choose a mod OTHER THAN Standard. Win an event/race and the trophy will unlock. Sonic Drift Do a 10 second Drift as Sonic Use Sonic, and drift nicely for 10 seconds. This came to me naturally and I can't think of another stage to do this for now apart from Sunshine Tour. Tornado Do a Level 3 Air-Drift Just pick a ring race from World Tour, ignore the rings, find an open spot and keep holding drifting (R2) around until you hit level 3 air drift. Magic Second Finish 0.5 seconds ahead of an opponent in a Race This may look tricky, but it's not. You will get this naturally, so there's no point telling you, but in case you "don't", towards the end stay very, very close towards your opponent and finish along with him/her. You don't have to finish 1st to unlock this trophy. Spin Dash Do a Boost-Start in each vehicle mode You have to have a full boost start on each vehicle mode to unlock this. At race start, you have to follow a rhythm. You have to hold R2 everytime the screen goes black. If you fail, you'll notice if the vehicle just puffs smoke. Car: Ocean View Boat: Adder's Lair Plane: Dream Valley Scud Racer Finish 1st in a Race without getting hit by weapons Choose Easy difficulty and stay in front and have Blowfish, Ice or Glove in your disposal just in case. This trophy should be easy to unlock if you tackled Expert mode. Blast Processing Hit 2 opponents with a single Hot Rod Blast Another tricky trophy. Pick up a Hot Rod item, wait until you have several racers around you and immediately double tap to detonate the Hot Rod. If you hit two opponents, the trophy will unlock. Fighting Viper Evade or Block a homing-weapon 3 times in a Race This can get annoying to get in a race if you don't have Super Glove, many single Glove items or incoming drone attacks (if you are an expert on how to dodge), but there is an easy way. Find a Traffic Attack event in World Tour that has the stage "Dragon Canyon" from the Panzer Dragoon series; run through that stage until you get Super Glove. Use it, and go crazy hitting all cars on your screen. Catcher Pitcher Absorb a weapon with the Glove and fire it back at your attacker I recommend you do this on Expert as the A.I loves to hit you with stuff. Wait until you get a Glove, hold it until you see a racer behind you having a weapon. You have to hope for that racer to attack you with something, but make sure you have your glove on. If he/she throws an item at you and you catch it, you have to then find that opponent and hit him/her back with the item you just caught. Successfully do that and the trophy is yours. If this is annoying you, find a second controller. For Vita owners, find another Vita or boost this. Eyes On The Road Hit an opponent with a weapon while looking backwards Hold the button to look behind you. If you have Ice, this should be a breeze. Wait until a racer is directly behind your tail then hit . Trophy unlocked. You can do this with a second controller too. Cosmic Smash Detonate the Hot Rod at the very last second This can be annoying if you don't know what second you need to detonate before it explodes. Look at the Hot Rod meter that will be attached to your vehicle and watch the timer go down to the red area. Hit then. If it doesn't unlock, try again but wait even further this time then hit . You don't have to hit an opponent to unlock this. Nomad Visit every location in the game You will unlock this when you complete the Grand Prix, normal and mirrored versions. Rank B Earn your B Class License See "SEGA Super Star". Rank A Earn your A Class License See "SEGA Super Star". Rank S Earn your S Class License See "SEGA Super Star". SEGA All Star Earn your Star License See "SEGA Super Star". SEGA Super Star Earn your Triple-Star License This trophy is the hardest trophy in the whole game. Before you even attempt this trophy, make sure you have completed the following: Completed World Tour on Expert ( All Stars - Unlocked) Completed Grand Prix on Expert ( Welcome to Victory Lane - Unlocked) Now this is where it varies. First of all, you need to check your license and the "Game Complete" must be on 100% to unlock this trophy. If you have the Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay DLC installed, you can get up to 110% which helps us a lot. Also you can unlock "Yokozuna" early due to DLC glitch. If you are a Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay DLC holder, do the following: Beat a number of expert Ghosts. More direction on "Yokozuna " trophy, but again varies. Look at your license every time you beat an expert ghost. If your Game Complete is on 99%, move on to the next bullet point. If not, continue beating those ghosts. Unlock more mods until you reach the 100%. Trophy will be unlocked then. If you are NOT a Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay DLC holder, do the following: If you are not after the platinum and just this trophy: Unlock all mods. Beat some expert ghosts until you reach 100%. Trophy will be unlocked then. If you ARE after the platinum: Beat all expert ghosts (Due to Yokozuna ). You can take a look at our licenses below: Edited November 8, 2022 by Viper Editorial Sweep
StarlightSammy
Hardcore Complete a World Tour event on Expert difficulty See "All Stars (G)". Newtron Manually select a Random character for a Matchmaking game Go to Matchmaking, and when you visit a lobby make sure you go to the Character Select screen and select "Random". Wait until a race/event starts and the trophy unlocks as soon as the event/race starts. SUMO Wrestled Beat your first Staff Ghost in Time Attack See "Yokozuna " . Yokozuna Beat all the Staff Ghosts in Time Attack Make sure you have beaten all Expert World Tours & Grand Prix tournaments before attempting this trophy. That way, you should know how to work this game by now. This is the second toughest trophy in the game. If you have the Metal Sonic + Outrun Bay DLC installed, you're in luck and you'll be jumping for joy. If not...well...I will give you a cookie if you beat all these expert ghosts! Basically, go to Time Trial and beat all ghosts, from Easy to Expert. I recommend Sonic + Speed Mod. That is what I used to tackle most of these ghosts. Now really, if you beat all the expert ghosts, you have mad skills. Now for the lucky ones (like me and other Outrun DLC owners), there is a glitch that you only need to beat ONE expert ghost to unlock this trophy. I don't know if Sumo's going to fix this in the future but let's hope not. Start up Sunshine Tour (Mirror) and yes there is still a lot of hard work to be done...you have to beat that expert ghost. Use Sonic + Speed mod and make sure you perfect those turns and drifts. Once you beat that horrid ghost, you'll unlock the trophy. You should able to unlock "SUMO Wrestled " on your first lap around (and I should expect you too otherwise you have no hope beating any expert ghost). You're not out of the woods yet though, you still need to beat other Expert ghosts if you are after the "SEGA Super Star " trophy. The next visit, I WANT you to do (yes WANT) is to do Outrun Bay and beat all ghosts there. The expert ghosts there are very easy to beat. De Rol Le Credits Unlock Superstar Showdown in World Tour Unlock the hidden tour. It unlocks when you completed all tours. Takes AGES Unlock every Character in the game You need to unlock all characters in the game. All but 1 character can be unlocked on World Tour. If you are after the "All Stars (G)" trophy, by the end you should be able to unlock all characters in World Tour. Once that's done, you have to complete Grand Prix (normal and mirrored) to unlock Dr. Eggman. Racing Hero Get a Podium Finish in every Grand Prix tournament See "Welcome to Victory Lane " . Welcome To The Fantasy Zone Finish 1st in a Grand Prix tournament See "Welcome to Victory Lane " . Holosseum Unlock Mirror Grand Prix mode See "Welcome to Victory Lane " . Gale Racer Get a Podium Finish in every Grand Prix tournament on Expert difficulty See "Welcome to Victory Lane " . Race Leader Win a Matchmaking game Join a matchmaking lobby and simply beat every player in at least one race/event. Let's just hope you don't face a person who is after this trophy too or some expert! House Party Of The Dead (PS3) Complete an event with 4 local friends This has to be done in Career mode. Choose what you please in Career mode, but for what I did is start a Ring Race in World Tour and I completed it while the other controllers were idle. Swirling Ranger! (Vita) Survive a Twister attack without crashing or being hit A secondary sticker from the PS3 version that is a trophy in the Vita version. Basically wait until a CPU player hits you with a twister attack. Then don't hit or touch ANYTHING (in fact don't move if you're not a pro on this yet). Wait until the announcer says "Survived Flippy!, Stickers Unlocked!" and the trophy should unlock. Virtua Trickster Roll Left, Roll Right, Backflip, Forward Flip and land as a car or boat Start up Graveyard Dig, and drive until you fall out of the house with a green river in front of you. You have a lot of air time to perform tricks. Use the right stick to roll left, roll right, roll up and roll down. You have to land perfectly too to get this trophy. You should also get the "Genesis (B)" trophy. Link Chain Complete the Dream Valley Ring Race and pass every Ring as NiGHTS or Reala Go to World Tour, find a ring race that has the NiGHTS stage and complete with NiGHTS or Reala (one of them must be unlocked to use) passing every ring. If you hear a "RING MISSED" from the announcer, restart. Choose Easy difficulty to make things easier. Vyse The Legend Beat 01:11.16 in Time Attack as Vyse in Rogue's Landing Open Time Trial, choose Rogue's Landing (Normal) and pick Vyse (must be unlocked to use) on Character select. Simply beat the Normal ghost and the trophy will be unlocked. You Got The Horn Level-up a character See "Parts Shop " . All Stars Collect every Star in World Tour Collect all 232 stars in World Tour. Collect only 10 stars to receive the "Meteor Strike " trophy. It's impossible though to get all 232 stars on Hard, you can only get them all on Expert. However, Expert difficulty is not unlocked from the start. You have to unlock Superstar Showdown Tour (a trophy " De Rol Le Credits " will unlock) to unlock Expert. When you unlock Expert and Superstar Showdown, don't continue with Superstar Showdown tour. Start all over again from Sunshine Coast Tour in Expert, (play just one event and you'll unlock Hardcore ) finish all expert challenges all the way to Superstar Showdown. Once you starred all the challenges to Superstar Showdown, then can start Superstar Showdown and finish that tour on Expert. Tips (Characters recommended in brackets): Traffic Attack: (Amy, Knuckles - both using Handling mod) You want to look for the shorter cars length wise as it will let you drift through the traffic with ease. Avoid larger or slow accelerating characters. As I say, handling is more important than speed for these ones. Drift Challenge: (Amy, Knuckles, Metal Sonic (DLC Only), Sonic + Acceleration) Make sure to learn where each checkpoint is as you don't want to use boost only to miss half the drift road because you couldn't control the car. DON'T use a character with full speed and poor acceleration and handling. Ring Race: (Amigo, Tails, Ulala, Pudding) Pass every ring without crashing. You can touch the edges of the ring. Make sure you never miss a ring, you'll hear a "RING MISSED!" from the announcer if so and you'll have to restart the mission in expert because you won't make it in time. Battle Race: (Anyone) You have two options. Eliminate all racers (faster) OR finish 1st after 3 laps (harder). Blowfish, Ice and Firework are the best weapons for the battle race. Stay last place, collect an item and hit them one by one. Make sure though you keep your distance between them and do NOT by any means stay directly behind a racer if they have a weapon. Battle Outrunner Do 5 overtakes in a single Drift I forgot how I did mine, but basically choose C-Class (easy), select a place like Sunshine Tour or Ocean View and keep focusing on drifting past 5 opponents. Genesis Triple-Stunt while transforming into a car or boat See "Virtua Trickster " Drift More Get a Perfect Drift score on a Drift Challenge event Choose the Shibuya Downtown Drift Challenge on Easy difficulty found somewhere in World Tour. You have to drift nicely and make sure the drift marks don't turn red while you're drifting. Mega Jet Do a Reckless Boost ...or perform a "Risk Boost". This can only be performed on plane sections. Go near an incoming object/rock/whatever and use the right stick to just avoid it on the last second to perform a risk boost. Ax Battler Finish a Battle Race without losing any lives Choose C-Class (Easy) on any Battle Race. Stay last place (but make sure you're still in reach of other racers) and eliminate them from the race. Don't lose a life! StarlightSammy
Arrow of Light Freeze an opponent with Ice from at least 100 meters away To freeze an opponent, you have to have x3 Ice in your disposal. When you are directly behind a racer with at least 100 meters away, hold the button to freeze them. Buzz Bomber Hit 1st, 2nd and 3rd place with a Swarm attack Make sure you're not in 3rd place or above when you have Swarm. Use Swarm, and hope that the top 3 racers get hit by the swarm. If so, the trophy will unlock. Lock On Sight Score 90% accuracy with aimed weapons in an event Firework or Ice will do nicely. I don't know exactly how to unlock this trophy, but keep hitting enemies with these weapons and at some point you'll unlock this trophy. Welcome To Victory Lane Finish 1st in every Grand Prix tournament on Expert difficulty You'll unlock 6 trophies (or more if you follow the roadmap) on your way to this trophy. Basically finish each tournament in 1st place on Expert. You don't have to win EVERY race, but the final standings count. On the podium celebration at the end, your character must be in the middle, higher than everyone else. During races, use your weapons wisely, keep your distance away from other racers, and make sure you don't drive in straight lines. Driving in straight lines makes you vulnerable to other racers who has ice and firework. You should unlock these trophies along the way to this trophy: Holosseum Racing Hero Gale Racer Nomad Welcome To The Fantasy Zone The King of Speed Meteor Strike Collect 10 Stars in World Tour See "All Stars " . Justice Shot Get 10 hits by firing weapons backwards in a single event A tricky trophy. For an easy way out, grab a second controller, start any event with Player 2 involved, and let Player 1 continuously hit Player 2 backwards with Ice, Drone or Firework by holding down the left stick and . For Vita owners and the ones who don't have a second controller, start up Sunshine Tour and use Gum (character must be unlocked). Try your very best to hit racers behind you. When you get her All-Star, fire as much hearts as you can behind her. Shadow Step Do 10 Stunt Combos in a single event Race as you normally would until you hit lap 3. Now you will notice you get a big air jump and immediately go down into the cellar and get another jump. Do 1 flip for each and there is 1/10 super combos done. Now you must drive back up the stairs and do this 9 more times. What makes this annoying is the game automatically sets you on track so you will have to turn around 3 times thanks to the game holding our hand before you can get another combo off. Repeat this for about 5 minutes for the trophy. Another way: King_Ubu said: Time Trials are classified as events, however they won't end until you physically pause and end the game. Therefore select Samba Studios as it's ramps easily allow you to do at least 2 combo stunts on. By the time you are on your third or fourth lap you should have this one. It's also easier as there's no time limit, no opponents and if you mess up you don't have to worry about running out of laps. The sticker/trophy will unlock during the event, so you don't need to pause and quit until you hear 'Stickers unlocked' and see the trophy pop. Crack Down Get a total of 20 hits with weapons in a Race Can be obtained along with Justice Shot . Use almost the same method there but stay just behind the pack picking up all weapons and blast away the entire time. The King Of Speed Finish 1st in a Grand Prix tournament at Expert difficulty See "Welcome to Victory Lane " . Team Sonic PS3: Finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th with local friends in a 10 player Race Vita: Raced in an ad hoc or Online game with Sonic, Tails, Amy, Shadow and Knuckles in the same race. === PS3 === Use the boosting thread to arrange meetings. You need at least 2 other PSN users together. Start a custom game, have two players with all of their controllers active in a race with the third player only filling up the remaining 2 slots. Start up any race and make sure the selected user's controllers finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. A DNF is okay as well as long in the race standings, the selected user's all controllers finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. === VITA === Use the Vita boosting thread to arrange meetings. The trophy description for Team Sonic is wrong. Yes, you have to have Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Shadow in the same race, but what the description doesn't say is that you also need to win that race. Long story short, you must also claim 1st place for the trophy to unlock. You can include CPUs to help you get this trophy. Use King_Ubu's thread for more detailed information about this trophy if you are still unsure. Final Thanks: Syaming Li for the unused Sonic stickers/designs for Transformed used in this guide. King_Ubu for tipping. THES79 for his license screeny. Personal thanks to JOEWKF, Starkiller, Grim Hero Ace, TheNorde, Woodland Wonder and Kofia for helping me with the online trophies. SA2
Hardcore Yokozuna Beat all the Staff Ghosts in Time Attack Make sure you have beaten all Grand Prix tournaments before attempting this trophy. Expert Ghosts are hidden until you unlock Expert difficulty. Though it's not really important, I just wanted to point out that Expert ghosts actually do show up before you can unlock Expert difficulty, since the very first thing I did when I started my game was try out some of the time trails (you can even check my trophy list if you don't believe me). After beating the hard ghost, the expert one showed up right after, of course I wasn't good enough to actually beat the ghost at that point though. THES79
Hi, first of all thanks for the guide, it has nice tips. Next, I want to share with you all part of my experience with this game. Originally I started to play the game normally, it took a lot of work and effort but finally I reached a 90% game completion, that work took me exactly 60 hours (according to my license); but then, after finally pulling out the expert ghost on Sunshine tour (mirror) I got the Yokozuna trophy, but just when the game was saving the electric power was cut off, when I checked again my save file was corrupted and the game created a new one from zero. I was really upset since my 60 hours of game went to garbage. After a lot of frustration I decided to start all over again and by my surprise I was advancing extremely fast, at the point that it took me just 4 hours 33 minutes to complete the "A rank" playtrough on worldtour and in the end I found myself with this: http://i570.photobucket.com/albums/ss143/THES79/SonicStats_zpsca76e2a7.jpg The first thing here it's the time, once you know what to do and how to do it this game become a lot easier. The hard challenges will be always hard but now it takes much less effort to get pass them. But most important is the way I reached the 100%, triple star license. It looks that in the end beating the expert ghosts in the time attack gives you a real good boost to the 100%, in the end I beat the following expert ghosts: - Rogue's Landing - Graffiti City - Sanctuary Falls - Graveyard Gig - Shibuya Downtown - Galactic Parade (mirror) - Rogue's Landing (mirror) - Graffiti City (mirror) - Sanctuary Falls (mirror) - Graveyard Gig (mirror) - Shibuya Downtown (mirror) That were all the expert ghosts I beat and to be honest, aside for the galactic parade track, I used the glitchs of those tracks to beat the expert ghosts, so it took me a little effort to beat them. By doing that I didn't even have to beat the sunshine tour mirror. I have the Yokozuna trophy because I beat the expert ghost on my previous file, but in this save file I didn't have to beat it to reach 100%, so in the end it looks like this: http://i570.photobucket.com/albums/ss143/THES79/SonicTracks_zps178b863a.jpg So, to conclude this. The best and easiest way to get the triple star license is to have the following stats: - 232 world tour stars: there's no way out of here, you need to complete all. - 24 characters Unlock - 10 grand prix wins - 125/168 Staff ghosts beaten: in this point it's where the difference comes, you only need 27 gold medals and 11 expert ghost beaten and this become extremely easy if you use the glitchs that are in the tracks I mention above. - 81 stickers: I'm pretty sure this stat don't help a lot towards the 100%, in my save file I don't even have the Yokozuna Sticker and still I have the 100% - 84/144 Mods earned: by this point when you beat all that expert ghosts you don't need to unlock too much mods, in my save file I only have 9 characters on star level (who come by just playing the world tour normally) and the two additional characters (Metal Sonic and Alexx Kidd but I think they don't count towards this stat). So that's it. Hope this helps to make your way towards that triple star license a lot easier. I really think that if you duplicate this stats you can reach the triple stars and it's a lot easier, specially for that expert ghosts. It's kind of a cheat to use the glitchs of the tracks but if we also use the Yokozuna glitch this one it's also available to use (until zumo decide to correct all of this lol). StarlightSammy
Wow...I beaten more ghosts and unlocked more mods than you (at least on the Vita version) to get 100%. >.> I'll compare mine with yours and use them both in my guide (if that's okay with you?) magmar126
Any tips for Justice Shot? Tried the method in the guide but no luck..
StarlightSammy
I got my Justice Shot trophies using those methods (1 for PS3, the other for Vita) I can't think of another approved way unfortunately. Try Battle Race events instead? EDIT: Maybe I wasn't clear. If you haven't got a second controller, for Sunshine Tour, use Gum and keep firing back at racers with Ice, Blowfish and Firework (stay like 5th-7th place for an increased chance of All-Star item) until you get All-Star, then unleash her All-Star firing as much hearts as you can, then when it finishes and you STILL haven't got the trophy, make sure you hit itemboxes along the way, slowdown and fire the items at racers you got behind you. You should get the trophy if you use this method. If you cross the finish line (or every racer crossed the finish line) and didn't get the trophy, start again. I don't know but, could it be the amount of expert ghosts what gave that boost to the 100%? I don't know how many expert ghosts you beat but in my case they were 11 (thanks to glitchs lol). So maybe (I'm just guessing) an expert ghosts gives you more %, maybe in this case quality it's better than quantity (lol). And yes of course, if any of that helps to your guide feel free to use it, I posted all that in hope it helps someone but if you use anything of that it'll be great, in fact, I'll be glad if you use something of that. And thanks again for your guide, really helpful Edited January 10, 2013 by THES79

BankrollBandits
Is the DLC available on Vita? I can't find where to get it.
StarlightSammy
Is the DLC available on Vita? I can't find where to get it. The DLC is exclusive to the Limited Edition copies of the game. The only way to get the DLC (at this time) is to purchase the game.
Cyberman65
I was wondering if I could get some help related to the 3 star license trophy. I thought I would have enough of each to get it, but I still haven't gotten it yet. http://i46.tinypic.com/fa2yvs.png I have 20 Expert Ghost and 22 Gold Ghost complete. Should I try to unlock more mods/stickers? Thanks
StarlightSammy
Yep, unlock more mods to get 100%. Don't do anymore ghosts, you've done enough. As I said, the license differs for many people. On the Vita version, I unlocked 106 mods, while on the PS3, it was wayyy less.
