ROAD MAP

The online servers for this game have now closed, making the online trophies (and plat if you don't already have the online trophies) now impossible to obtain.

Overview

+ Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 7/10

+ Trophy Breakdown: 1(P)-4(G)-6(S)-34(B)

+ Offline: 31(B)-6(S)-4(G)

+ Online: 3(B)-0(S)-0(G)-1(P) [servers down - Can no longer be obtained]

+ Approximate Time To Platinum: 15-20 hours

+ Playthroughs Needed: 2

+ Missable Trophies: None

+ Glitched Trophies: Possibly "Armed to the Teeth" (See trophy in guide & step 1 of the road map)

WARNING: There is a nasty glitch with the latest patch whereby it won't install and will crash the game when you try to install it, see here for details and how to fix it: LINK

Step 1 - First playthrough of the game:

Your first task is to play though the game on your chosen difficulty. There are 3 difficulties available to you from the start (Easy, Medium & Hard) with Elite being unlocked once you beat the game. Obviously if you want the easiest time, go for easy. On this playthrough you should try and get all the collectables. Not having to worry about them on Elite is nice and getting them in this playthrough will save you time running through the missions on chapter select. See "Information Warfare" & "The Sweetest, Darkest Juice is at its Core" for video guides of both types of collectable.

The other thing you should be working towards on this playthrough is "Armed to the Teeth". You will start the game with some weapons, earn others as you progress and need to pick up the rest during missions (and carry them to the end of that mission to add them to your collection). See the trophy in the guide for more information on the weapons. Just always keep an eye out for new weapons on fallen enemies and dotted around the map (often there are groups of weapons near checkpoints and ammo crates). Then hopefully you will only have a handful left after your playthrough and can mop up the rest on Elite or in chapter select.

Note: People have reported having trouble unlocking this trophy and It seems It's to do with gaining weapons through custom missions. If you get the last weapon you need through a custom mission, the trophy may not unlock. The potential fix is to reacquire that weapon in the single player campaign. Obviously that means you need to know what the last weapon you needed was. To avoid having to worry about this, It's a good idea to just concentrate on getting the weapon in the campaign mode.

You will get all of the unmissable story related trophies on this run as well as one of either "Executioner" & "Peace Keeper". These are the two trophies based on a choice at the end of the game. You don't need to worry about them as you are guaranteed to get one so just choose whichever action you want when the time comes. Then either do the opposite on your Elite playthrough or play the chapter again in chapter select to get the other ending based trophy.

Here is a list of the mission where you can get a lot of the miscellaneous trophies in the game. Keeping an eye on this during your playthrough so you know what trophies you can get in each mission will save you time later on in chapter select. None of these are missable though so if you do miss some then don't worry about it.

Mission 01 - "Destroy Gorman's Car" & "Government Spending"

Mission 02 - "Crowd Control" & "Expert Tactician"

Mission 03 - "Unseen Strike" & "Covert Ops"

Mission 05 - "Death From Above" & "Repo Man"

Mission 08 - "Double Down", "10-Piece Meal" & "Destroy Razad's Car"

Mission 14 - "Destroy Gorman's Car"

Step 2 - Elite playthrough of the game:

After your first playthrough you should have unlocked Elite difficulty. Elite difficulty will provide a significant challenge. It's nice if you don't have anything to worry about while playing through elite mode as a few collectables can be a bit annoying on elite and worrying about miscellaneous trophies doesn't make things easier. See "Best of the Best" for more information on Elite and a guide to the hardest parts of the game in that mode.

Step 3 - Online/Co-op/Custom Missions:

The online trophies are pretty simple. All you need to do is play through 1 game online in each of the 4 competitive modes. For the custom mission trophies only 1 requires you to play online and that's the trophy for beating a mission in co-op. You then need to complete a mission solo/offline and you need to play once on every map in either solo or co-op.

Step 4 - Clean up:

This step is simply to check what trophies you are missing and then going and getting them. If you missed any collectables you can go to chapter select and get them. If you missed any other miscellaneous trophies you can do the same.

12.jpg  Elite Ops (B)

Complete a Story Campaign mission on Elite difficulty.

See "Best of the Best" for information on Elite difficulty. This trophy just requires you beat 1 mission on this difficulty.

13.jpg Best of the Best (G)

Complete the Story Campaign on Elite difficulty.

Elite difficulty will be locked at first, so to unlock it you need to beat the game on any difficulty. You can do the mission in any order on Elite. Each mission is marked with the highest difficulty it has been beaten on in the chapter select menu, when they all say elite you will get your trophy.

Elite definitely provides a significant challenge. You will die in just a few hits and there are a lot of pretty serious fire fights throughout this game. Your team mates become a lot more important in on the higher difficulties. You will need to get into the habit of ordering them into good cover positions and prioritising attack targets for both teams. You can often send your team forward into cover to spawn the next group of enemies while keeping yourself back in relative safety. They will be significantly more help during engagements if you learn to use them effectively. There are also some occasions where it is just best to get the enemy's attention before retreating back to the previous fights location, for example. This is useful when there isn't much in the way of good cover for you and your team.

Other than that it will help to stick to the weapons you will have upgraded in your previous playthrough since they will have extras such as better sights and a larger ammo capacity. When In a fight always make finding good cover a priority and move forward with caution. Just because a member of your team says It's all clear doesn't mean there isn't another group of enemies just around the corner. Don't try and do too much either. If your team can handle the current group of enemies, let them. That's what they are there for. They can take down targets quicker than you and take a lot more hits too. Sticking your head out of cover when you don't really need to just makes it all the more annoying when It gets shot off in the blink of an eye. Smoke grenades can also be invaluable when you desperately need some cover.

See here for a guide to some of Elite's trouble spots.

As Forty-Five, successfully maintain stealth in a Story Campaign mission.

There are 4 stealth campaign missions where you play as Forty-Five. These are Missions 03, 07, 10 & 12. The easiest I would say are the first two. If you go for 3 then remember after disabling the launch controls for the boat, you can go prone round the railing to stay hidden. You can kill people of course but if you don't have to It's usually better not to. Unless you are right in front of an enemy, then being crouched in grass and/or shadows will make you pretty much invisible to them. In mission 3 I even shot down a few enemies at the end who turned and looked at me, even fired back and I still got the trophy. Best be safe and avoid that though. If at any point you think you might have been seen, just restart the checkpoint.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/15.jpg(B)N00b

Complete a Competitive Multiplayer game.

Head online and choose Competitive game. Any mode will do. Just join a match and play to the finish, it doesn't matter if you join half way through. Trophy will pop at the end.

[servers are down - This trophy is now impossible]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/16.jpg(B)Good Game

Complete a Competitive Multiplayer game of every gametype.

For this trophy you just need to play 1 game in each of the competitive modes the game has to offer. Go to game types and press :cross: on the mode you want to play to join a queue for it. If you want, you can do the medley mode that cycles through each of the modes for you so you won't have to exit and re-join each time. The small map medley is good for quicker games. For the game to count towards this trophy you need to play it start to finish, joining half way through and playing to the end won't count. The game modes you need to play are:

Suppression

Bomb Squad

Last Defence

Uplink

[servers are down - This trophy is now impossible]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/17.jpg(B)Combined Assault

Complete a Custom Campaign mission in Co-Op.

Custom campaign missions are available in single player and co-op. They take place on the maps from the single player and provide objective based gameplay. For this you need to just complete one mission in co-op mode. Can be any mode, map or difficulty.

[servers are down - This trophy is now impossible]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/18.jpg(B)Extra Credit

Complete a Custom Campaign mission in Single Player.

Custom campaign missions are available in single player and co-op. They take place on the maps from the single player and provide objective based gameplay. For this you need to just complete one mission in single player. Can be any mode, map or difficulty.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/19.jpg(S)Over-Achiever

Complete a Custom Campaign mission on every map in either Single Player or Co-Op.

There are 6 maps you can play custom missions on. Each map has an option of 1 of 2 objectives. You can do either but for me "Takedown" mission seem to go faster. You just need to play and complete 1 game on each map in either co-op, single player or any combination of the two. Things like "Difficulty" & "Enemy Count" don't matter either so put it to whatever settings you want. The required maps are as follows:

Rendezvous

Leviathan

Fluid Dynamics

Means to an End

Turning Point

Countdown

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/20.jpg(G)Above and Beyond

Complete a total of 100 objectives during your career.

While playing through the game in campaign mode or custom mission you will notice in the bottom left corner objectives pop up when they are given or when you have partially completed one with your progress. Then again with "Objective Complete" once you complete it. Each time this happens it is one towards the trophy. You shouldn't need to concentrate on this one at all, it will just come as you play towards your platinum. Playing through the game once will get you the majority of the way towards this trophy. So It should unlock when you are playing co-op, going for trophies in chapter select or during your Elite playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/21.jpg(B)Government Spending

Call in a total of 10 Strikes during your career.

Playing through the single player you will get this no problem. Often when you come up against armor, you gain the ability to call in air strikes. To do so you point at your target and hold :l1:. You will always be notified if you have to destroy something with an air strike and there are a lot more than 10 that you will need to call in throughout the story. At the very first opportunity in chapter 1 though you have the ability to call in strikes until the two armoured targets are destroyed. So you can just call in 10 and miss to get the trophy quickly.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/22.jpg(B)Death From Above

Eliminate 5 enemies with a single Strike.

Like mentioned in "Government Spending" you will be able to call in strikes at certain locations in the game. A good one for this trophy is at the end of Mission 5 "Benefaction". You will come up to a beach with a large number of vehicles and enemies. Use your first strike on a group of enemies and you should get your trophy. If you fail simply restart the checkpoint and try again.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i4z2-5wIRc]YouTube - SOCOM 4 / Special Forces - "Death from above" Trophy[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/23.jpg(B)Repo Man

Destroy a total of 50 vehicles during your career.

This should come over the course of the story. You can rack up destroyed vehicles pretty easy at the end of Mission 5 "Benefaction". You will come up to a beach with a large number of vehicles and enemies. You can just destroy a bunch of the vehicles, restart the checkpoint and destroy everything again as stats like this save when you do so. I wouldn't bother concentrating on it though as chances are you will get it naturally but if you want to, that is a good location to do so.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/24.jpg(B)Grenadier

Eliminate a total of 25 enemies with explosives during your career.

This should be a pretty easy trophy. Explosives is referring to grenades etc in your kit. Things like air strikes won't count. You should be using your grenades anyway so this should come naturally and pretty quickly. Grenades are most effective usually when the enemies are just running into the area all bunch up or coming through a choke point, such as a door.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/25.jpg(B)Crowd Control

Eliminate 3 enemies with a single explosive.

There are many opportunities to get this in every mission in the game. There is an especially easy one in the second mission though. From the start of the mission you are told to sneak past a group of enemies by crawling through foliage. You are then told to stealth kill an enemy for the first time. Just past this guy there are 3 enemies standing together talking just down a hill. They don't know you are there at first so take your time and toss a grenade into the middle of their conversation to get your trophy.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoU2SlopLmo]YouTube - SOCOM 4 / Special Forces - "Crowd Control" Trophy[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/26.jpg(B)(H)Double Down

Eliminate 2 chickens with a single explosive.

Easy place to get this is at the beginning of Mission 08 "Means to an End". Right from the start if you look straight ahead just out of the water there is a small group of 3 chickens. Just toss a grenade into this group and the trophy is yours. If you mess up, then It's right at the start so you can just restart the checkpoint and try again. See Video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-uKbL7pBPk]YouTube - SOCOM 4 / Special Forces - "Double Down" Trophy[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/27.jpg(B)Century Slayer

Eliminate a total of 100 enemies during your career.

See "Millennial Slayer".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/28.jpg(S)Millennial Slayer

Eliminate a total of 1000 enemies during your career.

This is cumulative between modes so you really don't have to worry about it at all. In going for other trophies you will get this in no time. A single playthrough of the story will get you 600-650 kills and you need to do 2 for the platinum. All your kills from co-op, custom missions & competitive will count for this too. So It should definitely just come while you are going for other trophies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/29.jpg(B)(H)10-Piece Meal

Eliminate a total of 10 chickens during your career.

See "Double Down" for some information on chickens. To get this trophy you just need 10 chicken kills. To get it easily just follow the method in "Double Down", restart checkpoint before repeating it until you get your 10 kills and your trophy. The chicken kills will save even though you restart the checkpoint.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/30.jpg(B)Melon Hunter

Eliminate a total of 100 enemies with a headshot during your career.

Simply aim for the head. Quickest way to take down enemies anyway. Getting a headshot will result in a pretty distinct "splat" noise that you will come to know pretty well. Counts across modes too so you shouldn't need to concentrate on this one.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/31.jpg(B)Hat Trick

Eliminate 3 enemies in a row with headshots.

Easiest If you pick a sniper rifle as one of your weapons at the start of a mission. Then just take it slow and pick your shots. You know when you get a headshot as you should get the distinctive "splat" noise that comes with headshots in this game. Other than that there isn't much to it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/32.jpg(B)Unseen Strike

Stealth kill a total of 10 enemies in a single mission.

Go for this in Mission 03 "White Tiger". There are a lot of enemies on their own that make an easy target for a stealth kill. If you don't think you can get enough in the mission you can just get to a point with a few enemies, stealth kill them, restart checkpoint and then stealth kill them again. It will count towards the trophy and you should get it no problem.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/33.jpg(B)Vorpal

Eliminate a total of 25 enemies with melee attacks during your career.

Stealth kills do not count as Melee attacks in this game. So these kills will have to just be with the standard knife. You can still use the stealth missions like mission 03 to get these kills quickly though. Just make sure the Stealth Kill prompt isn't on the screen right before you melee an enemy, staying in prone is an easy way to do this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/34.jpg(B)Combat Medic

Execute a total of 25 teammate revives during your career.

When a friendly goes down you will see their icon turn into a small skull on screen. To revive them, simply run over to where they fell and hold the :square: button when prompted on screen. A bar will start to fill up and when it does they will be revived. You need to do this 25 times across single player and co-op in campaign and custom missions. Shooting your allies to down them and then reviving them won't work so just play normally and keep an eye out for your team mates going down, you should get it in no time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/35.jpg(S)Expert Tactician

Complete a Story Campaign mission using only teammates to eliminate enemies.

Mission 2 is the best for this one. You can't get this in Forty-Five's stealth missions by not killing anyone. Mission 1 is a tutorial mostly. You are also required to kill enemies at certain points to advance the level. The mission is pretty short as are most in the game. You will also be introduced to the basics of ordering your team around during this level. Just hang back and order your teams into advanced positions, prioritising attack targets for them as you see fit. Then move forward when they have cleared everyone out. You can't kill any enemies yourself.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/36.jpg(B)Armed to the Teeth

Unlock all weapons for use in Campaign mode.

If you select campaign in the main menu followed by Weapon Progression, you will see a list of all the weapons (Locked and Unlocked) that you need for this trophy. You start out with some of the weapons, you are given some as you progress through the story and the others need to be picked up during mission. To save a weapon to your collection that you have picked up during a mission you will need to carry it to the end of that mission. To check the name of a weapon you pick up, hold :l2: and select it, it should display the name above. Chances are if you keep an eye out for new weapons and take them to the end of missions throughout the game, by the end of your first playthrough you shouldn't be missing that many. Use the list below to clean up the ones you are missing in Mission select.

Thanks to Blitz5 for information about this.

It is under the second ramp. Also the most common weapon used by enemy snipers in the game after that point.

Collect an intel item in a Story Campaign mission.

See "Information Warfare".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1002/40.jpg(S)Information Warfare

Collect all Intel in the Story Campaign

3 pieces of Intel are found throughout each and every mission. It usually looks like a small field computer. When you are within 5 or so meters of a piece of intel it will show up on your screen as an objective marker with a star in it. You can check which ones you have by pausing the game. If you pick up a piece of intel and die before a checkpoint, you don't have to pick it up again. In the pause menu the intel will either be greyed out (Not collected yet), filled in (Have collected it at some point) or filled in with a tick on it (have collected it and saved on this mission). As long as, in the pause menu, the piece of intel is filled in you don't have to collect it again. Here is a video of all the pieces of intel:

Find and collect the Tarocco in each Story Campaign mission.

These Taroccos, or "Blood Oranges", are hidden throughout the game. There is one in each mission of the game, so 14 in total. They are a small half of an orange. To get this trophy you need to find all 14 of them. Some are hidden pretty well throughout the game. Once you find one in a chapter and pick it up the game instantly saves. So you can quit straight away, safe in the knowledge that it has counted. See the following video for their locations:

Destroy Razad's Car.

This is available in Mission 08 "Means to an End". From the start of your level you fight your way through until you reach a courtyard where you need to pick up a rocket launcher in the middle in order to take out a tank. After you do so and before you enter the grounds of Razad's Palace there are 2 cars and a van parked right outside the door. Facing the palace, Razad's car is located just to the left of these 3 round a corner. See video.

Destroy Gorman's Car.

This is available in the Mission 14 "Animus". It's the last mission of the game and the car is located right near the end. When you ascend through a parking lot, and eventually make your way to the roof, you will engage with a large group of enemies and be tasked with taking out 5 vehicles. All in front of the big train station building. As you take the stairs down from the roof of the parking lot, there are some cars parked off to the left outside the large building. Gorman's is the one located in the corner closest to the parking lot. See video.

Alternatively you can actually get this at the very start of the game as well. After walking out the building you start in, look for three cars on your left. It's the one furthest away (facing a different direction than the others). Thank you to Dougiefresh613 for pointing this out. Here is a video of the other location:

As Forty-Five, stealth kill a total of 45 enemies in the Story Campaign

There are 4 missions you can get these kills on. Missions 3, 7, 10 & 12 are Forty-Five's stealth missions. You are introduced to stealth kills at the start of 3. To perform a stealth kill you will need to sneak up behind an unaware enemy and melee them. You will accumulate a lot of these over your two required playthroughs for platinum but you can also, while playing one of these missions, perform a bunch of stealth kills, reload checkpoint and then repeat those kills. They will all add up and you will get this trophy in no time.

SOCOM Elite - Trouble Spots

Mission 04 - Leviathan

You will know this section when you come to it in Mission 04. A large boat will constantly fire missiles at you while you try and get up to it and plant a bomb. You will be moving cover to cover. First to the right, then along the front of the boat and up the left side of the area. Wait until the boat fires and dash to the next safe area. When you first move round to the right and the boat shoots down a container, blocking your path, order yours teams to stay by this area in cover from the boat. Now, on your own, move along the front section, stay crouched behind the sticking out block of each section of cover or else the boat can still hit and kill you. When you reach the other side the boat will shoot down another container when you get close to it. At this point go back along the way you came to your team. Camp here and pick off the enemies as the come round the corner. You might need to repeat this once more to get the rest of the enemies to spawn. Then, when you are ready to move over, follow the same procedure before sprinting past the second shot down container into safety from the boats gun.

Mission 06 - Fluid Dynamics

The last part of this mission where you are tasked with defending the dam can be a bit tricky. Here is how I set up for it, I stayed in the back room where you pull the switch and the section you are trying to defend. I put Blue Team behind the ammo crate just outside this room to the left and I put Gold Team just outside that doors room to the left, behind a small bit of cover. This worked pretty well. The team took out the majority of the opponents but I still needed to thin them out to help. Taking cover on the left side of the door to the switch will mean you have a great view of the right door of the building and your team should take care of most that come through the left.

Each time the helicopter came I took the opportunity to refill on ammo and grenades at the ammo crate before taking it down from the back room, It never hit me while I was back there. After sending the chopper away for a second time, you face the last wave of opponents. In this section all 4 members of my team ended up dying but most of the enemies were dead by that point and I managed to kill the few stragglers by hiding in the the corner to the left of the back rooms door and picking my moments to pop out and shoot carefully. Make sure to revive your team as quick as you can if the same thing happens to you, since if they bleed out, you fail.

Mission 08 - Means to an End

This is a pretty challenging mission, the last part especially can be tricky. After the cut-scene with Razad, you are in the top floor of his house and all hell breaks loose and you have 5 minutes to reach extraction, although in reality you have a lot more time than that. This section to the end of the level is broken up into three sections so I will talk through each of them in turn.

Part 1 - From where you start look outside to the left on an overpass should be 2 snipers that you want to take out. Then there are another 2 on the other side of the area on top of some buildings. Kill them too before heading down to the bottom floor. From here set one team to the left of the entrance and the other to the right, while you sit in cover near the back of the room. Wait in here for the enemies in the courtyard to come to you and pick them off as they come in the door. If there are a few bunched up then remember your grenades. Once the enemies have been thinned out, tentatively make your way outside, through the courtyard to the gate at the front. Send your teams ahead of you in case there are any enemies left in the area. There is a checkpoint at the front of the gate. You just have to get to it in 5 minutes. When you die and respawn there the timer will be at 4 minutes.

Part 2 - For part 2 use the 2 sandbag walls just outside the gate as cover. Send one team to one, and the other to the other. You can squeeze in too, one of your team mates might leave cover and end up dead but as long as you revive them once you clear the area It's fine. Start marking priority targets for both your teams to take out including the snipers high up to the left and back of the area. As the remaining enemies progress towards you mark them as targets for your team and be careful when popping out to shoot yourself. Once the enemies start to thin out you can order your team forward cover to cover in case of any stragglers. Go to the back left of the courtyard. Be careful of the enemy with the Rocket Launcher that spawns. one one of the buildings at on at the far side of the area in the corner. There will also be a couple troops, one with a rocket in the little area after leaving the previous one. Just up ahead should be another checkpoint. Every time you die and respawn here the timer will be at 1:30.

Part 3 - For the last section I didn't take the step down into the area. I send 1 team down straight ahead to some cover and the other off to the right in cover behind some blown up cars. I spammed my frags at the extraction site on the top of the building at the 4 enemies marked with red and made them my priority. My team handled all the troops that spawned on the ground with a little help from me marking targets when I needed to. Once the enemies have thinned and you have killed the 4 guards at the landing zone rush there to the end of the level.

Mission 09 - Onslaught

This section can be pretty annoying. It's right at the very end of the mission. You want to head up to the elevated section towards the water that has all the cover etc. Throw a couple smoke grenades towards the rocket and dash to pick it up, then return to the cover. Wait for your opportunity, pop out and shoot the helicopter. What you can do now is throw another smoke to the ammo crate, refill and then return to your cover. The heli takes 3 hits to go down but retreats away for a short time and spawn a bunch of troop after the second hit. You can end the fight quickly though if you shoot it once, refill, shoot it again and then manage to get the 3rd hit in before it runs off. The mission will end right away. If you do have to deal with the troops that spawn, then the rocket is useful. From the area you are hiding in, look into the area your team should be located and the enemy comes around the house over on the right. Aim the rocket at the corner and fire as soon as they come round. Use your rockets and then mop up with whatever the other gun you are carrying is.

Mission 13 - Countdown

You will know when you come to this section In Mission 13. You basically turn a corner and are greeted with a big hill with 4-5 turrets and many enemy troops who instantly unleash a hail of bullets and missiles on you and your team. There are 2 metal shacks on either side of the road up to the to bottom of this hill. I put one team in one, and the other in the other. I generally stayed behind this and off to the right behind the tower. First I spammed some smoke grenades to the turrets at the back to take them out of the equation for a bit. Then concentrate on the turrets near he front. If you have a grenade launcher on your assault rifle, they are very useful at taking out turrets in 1 hit. If not use regular grenades and when you run out of those you will need to resort to just shooting them. When you do pick your moment to pop out and attack the turrets don't stay for long and you will probably have to move pretty quickly. As soon as they see you, you are the primary target or all the turrets. Once you take out the turrets the rest should be pretty easy. Take your time and use your team to mop up any remaining troops.

In the next section there is another hill. It's actually not that bad if you do it right. Running across the bridge will spawn all the enemies. Dive into the first cover on the left and point your two teams towards some cover just ahead. You should need to do much work here except mark targets like crazy. Prioritise those that appear up on the left and right of the area and get them taken out quickly. Only help out with the killing if your team are struggling. You do have a checkpoint before this section so it shouldn't take more than a couple of attempts to get this section done if you follow that method.

When you finally reach the launcher, look in the direction the missile on it is pointing. It's off to the side where there is an opening to a small area at the side. Order both you teams roughly to the middle of this area and go prone right at the back. Make sure you are still in view of the launcher controls where some enemies will try and reach to launch it. If anyone starts you should be able to take them out pretty quickly. You will need to at the start go out from this area to start the enemies spawning. For the first mini wave you might need to pop out too in order to take out an enemy high up. After that make sure you are settled into the small area at the side of the launcher and just wait for the enemies to come. The most you should need to deal with is 2-3 at a time. Your team will help out a lot too. Just stay prone with the weapon of your choice at the back and gun down anyone that comes round the corner. Remember if any enemy runs over and attempts to active the launcher make them your priority target.

Mission 14 - Animus

If you've got to the last mission, to be honest, you shouldn't find anything hugely difficult after coming through the rest of the game. I'll just mention the very last section though. At the top of the parking garage you are tasked with taking out 5 vehicles. Facing the action, set up blue team over to the left. There is some cover with a machine gun pick up that looks over the stairs down to ground level. I set up Chung up at the front sort of over to the left side as well. Mark the snipers on top of the train station as target for your teams to get rid of them quickly. Pick your moment carefully to mark each vehicle. Remember the only real safe cover is the higher up sections of wall. After taking out the first vehicle another one comes and if you know where it's going to settle you can call in the strike before it stops and, as a result, not have to deal with any rockets from it. Same with one of the vehicles after that. Remember to keep targeting snipers as more spawn as you take out vehicles. After getting all 5, move over to blue team and stay here while enemy troops come up the stairs. Keep taking out troops from cover and by targeting them for your team. After that It's just a short walk to the end of the game.

I've added a video guide for both the Intel trophy and the Tarocco trophy with all their locations.

I got the Gormans car trophy in the first mission. Right after you exit the building they drop you in its one of the cars on the left. I dont know if there are two different places to get it or if theres just a glitch but i thought you should know.

Hmmm thanks. When I was trying to find Razad's Car I had two possible locations in my head. Since you also bug his car In mission 7. So it could be possible that there are multiple locations for both. Thanks for pointing that out.

i have a question, sinse PSN IS DOWN can, will you earn your trophys even though ur offline?

Yes you can earn trophies offline, just not the online ones obviously.

How exactly do you do a stealth kill? When I'm 45 I'm prone and it only pulls out the knife.

I don't think you can be prone. You should either crouch or stand behind the enemy then press the melee button when you see the prompt on screen.

Oh alright. So it will say press RS when you get behind them and then that will be a stealth kill.

Yeah it counts melee kills and stealth kills as separate. So a stealth kill wont count as a melee kill and a melee kill can't be a stealth kill. For stealth kills you will always get the prompt and then the kill will be a fancy kill animation.

Just a tip for "Means to an End" When you have to get to the evac site in 5 minutes, this part is insane on elite! Order both squads to stay inside the gate, one squad on each side, Kill the soldier that is upstairs on the left side kinda far back cause he will kill you and your squad fast! After you kill him(use a sniper) throw a couple smoke bombs and make a dash to the right and hide in the corner by razads car. Dont fire at the advancing troops cause then they will come after you, just keep marking em for your squad and they will handle most of them, at times they will come at you but you want them focused on your squads! When theres about 2 minutes left you gotta make a break for it, there will be 2 soldiers on the left road and an 2 rpg guys u need to take care of, one on the second floor and one on the ground, then you should get to the last check point with about a minute and 25 seconds left, this is also tough to do but alot easier than getting there. Hope this helps people, was by far the hardest part of elite.

On the level animus when your on the roof, take out the vehicles, then about 20 or so guys rush up th walkway to the left, order your squads away from there, go to cover behind the half way and shotgun em up, after they quit coming go down stairs, get killed and repeat, you can do the smg here as well,, you dont gotta kill the vehicles again cause u get a checkpoint after.

lol.. That IS The HARDEST Part Of Elite.. I Did It Differently Tho.. I Killed The 2 People On The Right Buildings, 2 Snipers On The LEFT.. THEN Went Down Stairs To Start The Timer.. So if I Was To Die.. I'll Have A Checkpoint With No Enemy Overwatch, Then I Smoked The Right Side.. Ran Thru It.. Got Out The gates.. Died.. Got A CP.. Smoked Right.. Blitzed It... Rushed Left.. Killed Guy On Right.. Rushed Down The Stairs.. Died.. Got CP There.. And Took My TIme There... 3 Mins On The Clock :applause:

Hardest part of Elite!? awesome since I just passed it :D I didn't do it exactly like either suggestion here. I did kill those snipers up top before going downstairs though. The timer wasn't much of an issue I thought since it resets at checkpoints. I'll write up something about the end of that level in a minute.
