BrandonStorm
I'm just trying to give this game the D it's asking for, and I'll be damned if no matter how I write it, it's coming up as everything from O, to G, to I (wtf?). My recommendation, if you're ever playing a game that requires you to write the letter "D", just exit the game and start it back up. Not worth the frustration. Satnamji
I never had a problem with "D" and reading other posts in these threads it seems different people have problems with different letters, which likely depends on how they write them. My problem letters are Q, G, and R. But I've just learned it's better to write those lowercase. Thankfully there's no extra time penalty for wrong letters in Spell It or Lost Letter, so a few letters not registering properly isn't going to kill it for you. In fact, last night I 3-starred Lost Letter on Genius with a few incorrect letters along the way.
knoxville363
try lowercase...it worked for me
Walt the Dog
Yeah, I think I eventually realized that lowercase was best. The game's letter recognition for uppercase is piss-poor. Then again, you usually shouldn't be writing words in all-caps anyway.
knoxville363
All caps rage !!!!
Akari
I write in all caps and I've never had a problem with D. Or O. Or any of the numbers, really. It only really gets me wrong if I was hesitant about my letter while I was drawing it and end up with something a little random.
Browneskiii
I'm just trying to give this game the D it's asking for! What? Are you too big and it won't fit in the disc?
Cyanide Breath Mint
try lowercase...it worked for me This. ^ Used to have a right bitch of a time with those pesky full cap letters, then switched it up to lower case ('g' instead of 'G' is recognized easier, 'd' instead o 'D', etc.). knoxville363
Yah good call G is another one that lowercase is the way to go
fancyfox
Yeah, I've noticed going lowercase is the way to go for R, P and D.
xSqUiD
Give that game a lowercase "D"!
shay-d
Glad I stumbled across this thread as I just started last night. And my handwriting is piss poor putting it kindly. Lower case it is from here on out.
crimsonskydeath
With me the problem is I, if I do uppercase it thinks it's l, and if I do lower case, for reasons that confuse the heck out of me it thinks it's f.
lesk8vaincra
Be happy that you don't speak french... In our version of the game, some words are spelled with 'é' or 'è' or even 'ê'. first of all, it is bullshit to ask us to write that accent, but many times, the game reconize a "E" and doesn't let you write the accent... Eternal loop of fail ><

GhettoGlamour
Lol, I'm swiss so I'm playing on German...Try to type the letters Ä Ö Ü. Good luck with THAT
dcdfan
OK, got that part so far. Umlauts aren't that bad as long as you make small horizontal dashes instead of dots.
aerO1604661371
hey guys, HOW TO LOWERCASE "9" because it's completely not working for me
dcdfan
Drawing it like a 'g' worked for me. Start in the upper right, do a full circle counterclockwise, then add a 'j'-like hook.
wout
Drawing it like this has been always a success to me: http://i60.tinypic.com/6i4nbb.png Edit: Ok that pic was for the letter D (d). About the number 9 (nine), write it like a small (noncapital) 'g', like dcdfan explained. Edited April 9, 2014 by wout
bigdrama
D never gave me a problem, although I did have a couple of problems with various numbers\letters but none of them regularly.

fpsd0minat0r
5s always appear as a 3 for me me too! I figured out that it only changes to a 3 if you draw the 5 more like an S rather than a 5.
