Straatveger
The guide says that there are 17 races to complete. I have 18 races in my list (14/18), but did not buy any race pack dlc. I`ve done 14 of them, but i am missing one. I have Bike A,B and Cars A,B,C ranks. I know that the last 2 race you get from a mission on your map. These are the names of races that i have completed. 1.Mailman 2.Starboard 3.Unconventional 4.Dockyard 5.Early Grave 6.Lost 7.Indecision 8.Detour 9.Midtown 10.Wall Street 11.Crippling Road 12.No Sweat 13.Ally Press 14.Induction 15. ???? On this link is a video of every race (counts 15) But, Induction isnt on the list. I am very confused by this. Also, is The queen and Summit part of the story? The last 2 races to unlock ? Races - Sleeping Dogs Wiki Guide - IGN thanks for any help. Edited February 15, 2014 by Straatveger
kfree7
Have you completed all the events. I thought I had but there were a couple left. Hope you get it figured out.
Straatveger
Hi, no i did not. So, you`re saying that you need to complete events to unlock races ? I tough that buying cars did that.
sum1_worsethan_u
I think that you get more races unlocked as you progress through the game (complete more missions). I don't think that purchasing vehicles does anything for unlocking races. And I seem to recall that the extra race (18th) is a long motorcycle race. Tabe
Hi, no i did not. So, you`re saying that you need to complete events to unlock races ? I tough that buying cars did that. Some races get unlocked by missions and events. I believe taking Sandra out both times unlocks some races.
watsittou
On a similar note, are the races challenging to complete? I personally hate racing games and I'm not too good with them. If I play this game, would races pose somewhat of a challenge?
Warbear
On a similar note, are the races challenging to complete? I personally hate racing games and I'm not too good with them. If I play this game, would races pose somewhat of a challenge? Not at all. But from my memory, there were two specific motorcycle races that I struggled with. The bike races are much harder but very doable. Only issue is that the ones that I struggled with were kinda long. About 4 5 minutes to complete. The car ones were cake though. That shouldn't stop you from playing this game though. It's quite terrific!
watsittou
Alright I'll give it a go. It's been sitting in my backlog for too long.
Sylvester191
There's only 1 truly difficult race and it's optional. It's a motorcycle race called Enduro and it comes in the Street Racer dlc pack. It's the only one I wasn't able to complete. Anyway, I wish you the buona fortuna with the races. Even though they're not really difficult, there's some luck involved due to the rubberband AI. Still, as Warbear said, they're doable.
