Katzii_Yataki
What sort of character do you like playing with best? Would you prefer long-range attacks or short-range attacks? Faster or slower characters?

Katzii_Yataki
Drobot's a good choice, in that case. Bash's attack is short-range (he rolls into enemies) but is pretty fun. Sonic Boom is a pretty good flying type who is pretty nifty in speed. Are you looking to get different elements to the ones that came with the starter set, or just whatever you like? Payney1991
For mid-long range attacking Trigger Happy is really good when he has been levelled up and had a couple of upgrades. For close quarters, Chop Chop is really good as he can perform 2-3 hit combo's.
BaronSamedi
Are the expansion packs worth it?
Gunnerie
<3 Zap. He has long and short ranged attacks. One attack actually makes him move faster, and you don't have to swap him out for water areas.
BaronSamedi
I really like Eruptor. I have a bunch I haven't played as yet too.
Skaughtto
Legendary Chop Chop - The Vampiric Blade upgrade makes him unstoppable. Drobot is really cool, but his long range lasers kill enemies that are off the screen which ends up crashing the game.

woodman_76
Are the expansion packs worth it? Yes, I can say yes. Every expansions give you a single level longer than usual, and quite rewarding for gold and experience.
dthomp34
I just picked this up again after a long break and because I want the Platinum before I play Giants that I grabbed. I have the whole first set and here are some of my faves (one of each type at least) Ghost Roaster, Camo, Terrafin, Trigger Happy!!!, Gil Grunt, Cynder...actually I don't like any of the fire types but at least Flameslinger has range
