Introduction:

SingStar Junior is the name of the trophy list for the boxed version of what is known as SingStar Studio 100. Themed after the Belgian company that produces popular family-friendly television series such as Mega Mindy and K3. All the songs are in dutch in this SingStar-themed game, and it is the easiest of all the SingStar trophy lists because there are no online trophies, and you can play the entire game on easy difficulty. There is still some singing effort required of course, but if you are familiar with any SingStar title, all the concepts are the same here.

Step 1: Hook up your PlayStation Eye, and play at-least five songs and aim to score at-least 7500 points on each song.

As you will have to play a total of 100 songs anyway for 100%, it is best to start out the game and play it naturally until you can score at-least 7500 on five different songs. It isn’t very close to the highest 9000 SingStar rating, so you have some wiggle room for mistakes in each song. If singing Dutch pop music isn’t your forte, I’d recommend going through the entire track list and playing each song until you find the ones you can focus on to get the highest scores. Be sure to start at-least one song with the camera feed option to get the camera trophy. Once you complete this step you should have the following trophies:

Super Singer Bronze

(S)
Super Singer Silver

(G)
Super Singer Gold

Step 2: ‘Sing’ up to 100 songs

How you complete this step will determine how long it takes you to 100% this game. If you have access to a turbo controller, what you can do to save a lot of time is turn the microphone volume down, lay it near your speaker, and proceed to have turbo set on your :cross: button. This will allow the game to go into “auto-play”, you’ll score enough points to where the game will count it as sung, and it will repeat the track over and over again. If you don’t have access to a turbo controller, you will have to just keep playing manually until you get up to 100 songs. Once completed you’ll have earned these trophies:

(B)

Beginner Super

(S)
Super Singer

(G)
100 and still singing!

Step 3: Clean-up:

At this point you can clean-up any score trophies if you didn’t get them initially, and finally the play SingStar on Christmas day trophy. You can go to your XMB and manually set the date to December 25th and launch the game for this, then complete a song and you’ll earn the following:

Happy Holiday!

Sing your first song

This couldn’t get any easier. Just pick any song from the playlist, play through it with any score and you will have earned a free trophy just for singing.

Score over 7500 on 5 different songs on any difficulty

These score trophies can be earned on any difficulty, which makes earning them considerably easy. You’ll have to record the respective trophy score on different tracks, so you can’t repeat one song for these trophies. It is recommended to play on easy difficulty as the note bars are bigger so you’ll have the best chance of filling in the song bars. Respectively you only have to earn up to 7500 points on each song out of 9999. This means you are given plenty of wiggle room for mistakes so it doesn’t have to be a near-perfect SingStar rating like in all the other SingStar games.

The best tip to earn the highest scores is to try all the songs and see which ones you perform the best in to improve. Always try to fill in the “cool” bars that sparkle for bonus points. Unfortunately a microphone to the TV or fan will not give you a high enough score with these songs.

Sing 100 songs

These counter trophies are self-explanatory in which you will have to complete up to 100 songs. It is important to note that you can’t just play a song and earn zero points as they won’t count.

If you have access to a turbo controller just pick any song, put the microphone near the speaker so that the game will register a somewhat passing score so that they would count towards your total. You'll need a score over 1000 to be safe. Next, set your turbo on the :cross: button and upon completing the song, the game will go through the menus and repeat the same song over and over.

Complete a song using the camera feed option

This trophy will require you to use your PlayStation Eye, and turning on the camera feed during a performance. Once you complete the song, this trophy will unlock at the score screen. You don’t have to save your video for this.

Play SingStar on Christmas Day

This trophy will automatically unlock after completing a song when your PS3’s date is December 25th. You can wait until the next Christmas Day, or to achieve this instantly set your XMB clock manually to the 12/25 date and complete one song for this to unlock.

thanks for the guide, been wondering if I should get this or not:P I live in the Netherlands, but those songs are just SOOOO bad and I hate singingXD luckely there is a big trophy whore in me;) Too bad the 7500 points songs can''t be done with the mic to fan trick:S what songs would you recommend? does the humming trick work good enough to get the 7500 points?

There are worse songs to sing! But I had no trouble with the K3 and Amika songs after two or three tries. Toby Toby from Mega Mindy was another I can recall nailing pretty fast, lol. You can probably hum to the right pitches since you can play in easy mode which gives you a lot of pitch leeway.

I had 3 (K3) songs which i could sing pretty easily to 7500+. And i'm Dutch. The rest of the songs i sometimes couldn't even score 6000. So i replayed those songs in duet mode and when i scored 2 combined scores of 7500+ on the same songs the trophy popped.

So in duet mode it counts as a different song.

Or possibly it doesn't have to be 5 different songs at all but i don't know that for sure.

And thats about the only thing you need to do. After this u can turbo your way to the 100 songs and you'll have the 100% in 3 hours.

Hope it helps ;)
