Introduction:

Silent Hill: Book of Memories is a spinoff title of the popular survival-horror franchise Silent Hill. Unlike its prequels however, this title is actually an isometric Action-RPG much like Diablo. It has similarities to the prequels nonetheless. There are multiple endings and they all reflect the decisions you made and your play-style. The protagonist of the game, like in most Action-RPGs can be fully customized. Name, face, appearance and class can be changed to the players' liking.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Begin the game and play until Zone 13

Choose a charm, class and customize your appearance. Refer to Charms & Classes below for a detailed explanation on each. Simply play until you reach Zone 13 which will give you access to all the skills which are needed for all the MP trophies.

Step 2: Take care of MP trophies

Once you have reached Zone 13, I suggest you take care of all the Online Trophies ASAP. It is a pain to get a full lobby which is a requirement for 2 out of the 5 MP trophies. I tagged each MP trophy with (Online Trophy) for (CTRL+F) convenience.

Step 3: Finish the game

After obtaining all the Online Trophies, finish the game (Zone 21). You will get one of the 6 endings which is generated depending on the decisions you made and play-style.

Step 4: Get the other 5 endings

After finishing this step you will unlock the Storyteller trophy. Refer to the trophy guide for more information.

Step 5: Cleanup

Once you're done with the endings, it's time to get the rest out of the way. There are several trophies related to collectibles, kill X of a certain monster etc.

Charms & Classes:

Charms:

Charms are permanent skills which cannot be changed once you start the game.

Charm 1 - Lucky Clover: Durability++

Weapons last longer than usual. Doesn't break easily.

Charm 2 - Yen: MR++

MR is this game's currency. You will obtain more than usual when picking up MR.

Charm 3 - Compass: Map++

The save point, shop and exit are always marked on the map.

Charm 4 - Cross: Karma++

Similar to Yen, only for Karma.

Charm 5 - Heart: HP++

You have more HP than usual.

Charm 6 - Meatbun: EXP++

You obtain more EXP than usual.

Charm 7 - Robbie's Head: Critical++

Increased critical rate.

Charm 8 - Ninja Star: Speed++

Increased walking speed.

Classes:

Preppy:

-High AGI and INT.

-Good with Guns and Wildcard weapons.

Goth:

-High VIT and MND.

-Tank class.

Rocker:

-High STR and VIT

-Balanced class, good with melee weapons.

Jock:

-High DEX and STR

-Glass Cannon class.

Bookworm:

-High INT and MND

-"Mage" class, good with wildcard weapons.

Note: I chose the Rocker + Compass because I like to get up close and personal and be able to tank a little, I realized later on however, that guns and wildcard weapons are OP as hell and in later zones many enemies (Pyramid Heads, Bogeymen and Butchers) can OHKO you so there's no point being able to tank end-game. The Compass is pretty useful if you like to plan ahead, it shows the save point and shop once you enter the area. The best charm in my opinion.

Trophy Guide:

Story-related Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/98B.jpg Hyperthymesiac (P)

Earn every trophy in the game

Collect the other 57 trophies for this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/E89.jpg Fireman (B)

Defeat the Fire Guardian

[spoiler=1]The Fire Guardian is the first of the seven Guardians found in the game. He is fought after clearing Zone 3 of the Fire Realm. This battle is pretty simple. Just watch out for his flamethrower attack which can cause burning. If his health is low he will start shooting two beams instead of one. Also has an AoE attack.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/B44.jpg Lumberjack (B)

Defeat the Wood Guardian

[spoiler=2]The Wood Guardian is fought after clearing Zone 6 of the Wood Realm. Much like the Fire Guardian, he doesn't pose too big of a threat. He even lets you whack him until he gets to about 75%. He has minions too which can be killed in one hit. Watch out for his annoying homing attack which comes from underground.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/B40.jpg Sandman (B)

Defeat the Light Guardian

[spoiler=3]The Light Guardian is fought after clearing Zone 9 of the Light Realm. This is the first Guardian who actually may cause you some trouble. First of all you should watch out when your karma is blood-aligned. If you are, his attacks will deal more damage so watch out for that.

The Light Guardian uses his head-mounted spotlight to spot you. He will use punches, laser beams and large circular projectiles depending on his health.

First of all you should just hit him whenever possible. He will fall to the ground, giving you a chance to destroy his gauntlet. Once the gauntlet is destroyed he will start shooting laser beams. Dodge those and hit him again until he falls. Destroy his cone mask this time. Now he will be guarded by several circular shields. He will use these to attack you if you get into the spotlight. The only way to get through them is to lure him to shoot at you. After he launches one of the shields at you, attack it while it's moving towards you or use a gun of your own to shoot it back. After repeating 2-3 times, he will fall again, giving you the chance to finish this battle.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/48A.jpg Plumber (B)

Defeat the Water Guardian

[spoiler=4]The Water Guardian is fought after clearing Zone 12 of the Water Realm. He is fairly easy but he has a certain pattern that needs following. He will start the battle by diving into the pool, making it impossible for you to attack him directly. There are large pipes on the side of the arena though. He will attack through those if you are in their vicinity. Once his arm reaches out of the pipe, dodge and attack it. After repeating a few times, more arms will appear and finally he will jump out of the water.

Just hit him like you did with the Fire and Wood Guardian.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/852.jpg Miner (B)

Defeat the Earth Guardian

[spoiler=5]The Earth Guardian is fought after clearing Zone 15 of the Earth Realm. This guy is a major pain in the ass.

He has very high defense and only a handful of weapons are effective against him. Since you just finished the Earth Realm, I recommend you pick up the Rock Drill and bring it to this battle. It makes this battle so much easier.

Watch out for his ground punches. They deal a lot of damage and has a large AoE.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/EB3.jpg Phlebotomist (B)

Defeat the Blood Guardian

[spoiler=6]The Blood Guardian is fought after clearing Zone 18 of the Blood Realm. This battle has 4 phases.

Phase 1: She launches large spheres of blood at you while turning in the opposite of your running direction. Just keep dodging while chasing after her front. Once you can hit her face, wait until the next blood sphere lands and immediately hit her face. Repeat a few times to move on to phase 2.

Phase 2: She stops launching balls and starts shooting a beam of blood. You might have noticed that there are chains running underground and that they lead to a gearbox at the outskirts of the arena. Lure her beams to the gearboxes and it will break the casing. After the casing is broken, hit the gear inside to stop the chain. There are 4 in total.

Phase 3: She scatters eggs on the ground which will hatch into suicide bombing monsters. If you touch or attack them they will blink three times and explode. She will also try to punch you if you get too close. Run away from the babies and lure them close to the Blood Guardian. When she tries to punch you, dodge so that she will hit one of her babies. If she hits the baby, it will explode and disable her arm. Repeat for the other arms to move on to phase 3.

Phase 4: The Blood Guardian leaves the pod. Just whack or shoot her to death.

Defeat the Steel Guardian and complete the game

[spoiler=7]The Steel Guardian is the final boss and is fought after clearing Zone 21 of the Steel Realm.

He is pretty easy, although he has high HP and defense. The first time I fought him I used an Assault Rifle with 9/9 spare magazines. He died exactly when I ran out of mags. Watch out for his homing attacks and eliminate any enemies he summons with a melee weapon ASAP.

If you decide to use guns as well, remember to stop shooting once he staggers. He will be invincible for that period, so wait until he stands up again and then continue shooting.

Achieve all 6 of the game's endings

The key to unlocking the endings in this game are notes. Notes are found scattered throughout the zones and can be viewed by checking the Book of Memories.

There is an excellent guide here, courtesy of Rely on Horror, on how to get all the endings. I used it as well and can confirm that it works.

Ending Guide

Note: I mentioned in the first post that only 1 playthrough is required for the (P) because you will be able to reselect any zone you have played before to change the Karma of that realm as you see fit. Once you're done switching simply defeat the Steel Realm boss to get another ending.

Miscellaneous Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/A4E.jpg Creator (B)

Create a character

Self explanatory. You will obtain the trophy after choosing a charm, class and customizing your character's appearance.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/771.jpg Consumer (B)

Make a purchase in Howard's shop

Howard's shop can only be found in zones. In fact, the very first quest you get from Valtiel will be to look for one of these shops. Just purchase any item for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/100.jpg Light Napper (B)

Complete Zone 1

Refer to Comatose for further details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/665.jpg Deep Sleeper (B)

Reach Zone 50

Refer to Comatose for further details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/C58.jpg Comatose (B)

Reach Zone 100

Clear Zone 1/50/100 for these trophies.

Maps will get larger and more difficult. I suggest exploiting a trick for Zones 22+. Zones 22+ will generate randomly, meaning they can be Fire, Wood, Light, Water, Earth, Blood or Steel, with Fire being the smallest map. The exploit involves the online lobby. By creating an online lobby you can change the Realms of Zones 22+. Each time a new lobby is created the Realm changes. Keep repeating until the desired realm is generated.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/512.jpg Novice (B)

Level up to LVL 2

Refer to Master for further details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/701.jpg Apprentice (B)

Level up to LVL 25

Refer to Master for further details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/D69.jpg Master (B)

Level up to LVL 50

Reach level 2/25/50. This is the most time-consuming trophy in this game. The fastest way to get to level 50 is to grind Pyramid Heads.

Once you reach Zone 100+, enter and get Valtiel's quest. Valtiel will tell you something along the lines of "A dark executioner roams these halls with a Great Knife, slaughtering without regard for the Master's plan. Find and destroy him." If you get another quest, simply quit and re-enter the Zone. Once you get it rush for the save point. You will notice that all the enemies are Pyramid Heads. Pyramid Heads give the most EXP of all monsters. Once you're done, save in the library and quit. When you reload the Pyramid Heads will respawn.

I found Pyramid Head infested rooms in Zone 91, 93 and 124. I left the first 2 because I felt that the EXP gain was getting less everytime I level up. The fastest way to take care of Pyramid Heads is to take 2 knives and stun all the enemies in the room. Run up to it and land an execution to kill it quickly. If you're not fond of executions the flamethrower will do just fine.

Keep repeating the process until level 50.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/374.jpg Choice Meat (B)

Defeat 25 Butchers with the Great Cleaver

The Great Cleaver can be obtained as a reward from Valtiel or as a random loot from later zones. Kill 25 Butchers with it to unlock this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/677.jpg Disorderly Conduct (B)

Defeat 25 Nurses with the Steel Pipe

Steel Pipes can be found everywhere and are also dropped by Nurses. Defeat 25 Nurses with Steel Pipes for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/9A9.jpg Hammer Time (B)

Defeat 25 Bogeymen with the Bogeyman's Hammer

Bogeyman's Hammer can be obtained as a reward from Valtiel or as a random loot in later zones. Bogeymen are by far the most annoying enemies in this game unless you pumped into AGI and INT early on.

Use any gun to weaken him until he's left with <10% and start whacking him with the Bogeyman's Hammer and hope for the best.

Kill 25 of them for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/357.jpg Pyramid Scheme (B)

Defeat 25 Pyramid Heads with the Great Knife

The Great Knife can be obtained as a reward from Valtiel or as a random loot in later zones. Pyramid Heads are found everywhere from mid-game. I suggest weakening them with an Assault Rifle or any other gun. Once he reaches around <10% of his health start whacking him with the Great Knife.

Repeat 25 times for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/68B.jpg Light Heal Me (B)

Use Heal Me Karma Ability to restore 25% or more health

There are a total of 6 Karma Skills. 3 Light and 3 Blood skills. The Light Skills always heal while the Blood Skills deal damage. They use up your Karma gauge on the upper right corner. You can refill it by killing enemies and picking up their blood/ashes. Blood will increase your Karma gauge to Blood while Ash will increase it to Light.

Each side is also divided into three equal parts and each section indicates when you are able to unleash a Karma skill.

The first Light Karma skill is Heal Me. Click on the Karma gauge if you have enough Light Karma to open up the Karma skill menu. Choose the first and use the rear touchpad to aim for the enemy you would like to steal HP from.

Use this skill to recover 25% of your HP for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/58F.jpg Light Heal You (B)

Use Heal You Karma Ability to restore 50% or more health to a friend (multiplayer)

(Online Trophy)

The second Light Karma skill is Heal You. Click on the Karma gauge if you have enough Light Karma to open up the Karma skill menu. Choose the second and use two fingers on the rear touchpad to aim for the enemy you would like to steal HP from.

The enemy and your partner have to be between the line you form with your two fingers. Heal 50% of his HP for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/680.jpg Light Heal Us (B)

Use Heal Us Karma Ability to restore 50% or more health each to 3 players (multiplayer)

(Online Trophy)

The final Light Karma skill is Heal Us. Click on the Karma gauge if you have enough Light Karma to open up the Karma skill menu. Choose the third and use two fingers on the rear touchpad to form a large circular field (much like zooming in on pictures on the iPhone).

Your partners have to be in this field. Heal 50% of their HP to unlock this trophy.

Note: You have to heal 3 different players in a single session (zone) for this trophy. It doesn't stack with other "Heal Us" uses.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/96E.jpg Blood Barrage (B)

Use Blood Barrage Karma Ability to kill 5 or more enemies

Refer to Light Heal Me for an explanation on how to use this skill.

Kill 5 enemies in a row with this skill to unlock this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/186.jpg Blood Beam (B)

Use Blood Beam Karma Ability on 5 or more enemies at once

Refer to Light Heal You for an explanation on how to use this skill.

Gather 5 or more enemies into a group and kill them all at once to unlock this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/3A0.jpg Blood Burn (B)

Use Blood Burn Karma Ability to damage 4 different enemy types at once

Refer to Light Heal Us for an explanation on how to use this skill.

You need a room with 4 enemy types. Kill them all at once to unlock this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/2D0.jpg Power Savior (B)

Use Health Siphon Power Move to bring a dying friend back to life (multiplayer)

(Online Trophy)

You need only one other player for this trophy. Find a room with relatively weak enemies like nurses and kill all of them except for one. Tell your friend to get him/herself killed by the final nurse. Run up to him/her and use Health Siphon to revive your partner.

Refer to Power Switcher for further information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/54F.jpg Power Switcher (B)

Use 360 Attack Power Move to strike 4 or more enemies at once

All trophies linked to this are pretty much self explanatory.

Power Moves are all purchasable from Howard's shop and they should all be available once you reach Zone 13. To unleash a Power Move, you have to hold the :vitar: button and another button depending on which one of the skills you want to use. Each time you hold :vitar: for a few seconds a notification will appear on the right of the screen which, if clicked, shows a list of all the available Power Moves.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/DFD.jpg Beast Master (B)

Defeat any Guardian without taking damage

Self explanatory. I would keep this for later. Once you finish the game and defeated the final Guardian, you will be rewarded the Steel Sword which can kill the Fire Guardian in 2+ hits.

Once you have it, go to Zone 3 and choose to fight the Guardian. Avoid his first flamethrower or lunge attack, flank him and hit him until he dies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/BB7.jpg Beat Maniac (B)

Earn a 30 or greater timed hit combo

This trophy is actually much easier than it sounds if you do it in the Forsaken Room of the Blood Realm. Once you've reached the Blood Realm, go through Zones 15-18 and go to the save point ASAP. Explore every single room in the Zone only if you have found the save point.

If there is no Forsaken Room, move on. If you happen to find the Forsaken Room before reaching the save point, remember its position and let yourself get killed. If you click on retry, you will start the exact same map again. Avoid the Forsaken room and look for the save point once more.

Once you've saved, make your way to the Forsaken Room equipped with two knives and start attacking the cage. (I did it with 2 butcher knives because they're a tad slower).

A combo is initiated when you press :square: once the first attack connects. You will see a counter on the left which reads x1 if you are successful. Repeat until 30x for this trophy.

NOTE: People suggest to take 2 knives for this trophy and switching with :left: mid-combo before the first knife breaks. I don't think it is necessary at all since my butcher knife didn't break a single time. I had at least 3 attempts.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/3B7.jpg Blacksmith (B)

Level up 10 different weapons

There are 34 weapons which can be leveled up. Refer to Arms Dealer for a list.

You can check the level of a weapon in the Book of Memories under the weapons section. Each weapon has an EXP gauge underneath its icon.

Level up any 10 to LVL2 for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/0DC.jpg Bleeder (B)

Lose more than 400% health in one Zone without dying

I suggest attempting this trophy in Zone 1. Take as many med-packs as possible and find a room with enemies in it (not with a blue orb). Let them attack you until you have about 10% HP left and heal up fully. If you need more you can always buy med-packs at Howard's.

Repeat the process 5~ times to unlock the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/42E.jpg Bouncer (B)

Complete a Zone using only your fists (no weapons)

Easiest done in Zone 1. Come back when you are Level 10+ and you shouldn't have problems killing the enemies in Zone 1 with fists.

Finish the zone without using weapons for this trophy.

NOTE: It doesn't matter if you have a one-handed weapon equipped while doing this. As long as you don't use it you're golden.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/C39.jpg Brainiac (B)

Complete any 5 puzzles without using the hint lever

Puzzles are found at the end of every zone. Throughout a zone you will need to collect puzzle pieces (statutes, figures, etc.) and they are obtained by completing challenges in blue orb rooms. Once you've collected all the required pieces, go to the exit and start the puzzle.

All the puzzles require you to arrange the pieces in a pattern described by the Puzzle Note, which is a random note found in the respective Zone.

Clear 5 puzzles without using the Hint Lever (far right of puzzle screen, above puzzle note) for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/179.jpg Executioner (B)

Perform a timed execution on 10 enemies in one Zone

To perform an execution, you need to reach a combo counter of x5 and press :cross: once the notification appears. Refer to Beat Maniac on how to do combos.

I did this in Zone 19 of the Steel Realm because monsters are all Steel and have higher HP. I suggest using the Great Cleaver because it's slow and very easy to do combos with. Make sure you have them against a wall when doing this since the 4th hit will push them back.

I killed every enemy normally except for Insane Cancers, Needlers, Schisms and Mothers. These have high enough health to withstand more than 5 of your hits.

Kill 10 enemies in one zone by execution for this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/883.jpg Klutz (B)

Trigger every kind of trap in the game

Traps are invisible panels which can have various effects on your character. Step on each of these at least once for this trophy:

[spoiler=1111]

  • Shield Trap (Blue, renders anyone who steps on it invincible for 10 seconds)
  • Blood Trap (Red, refills health to blood aligned characters and damages light aligned characters)
  • Light Trap (White, refills health to light aligned characters and damages blood aligned characters)
  • Jaws Trap (Bear Trap, damages anyone who steps on it)
  • Spear Trap (Spikes, damages anyone who steps on it)
  • Poison Trap (Purple, The deadliest of the traps. Reduces HP of anyone who steps on it to 1 for 10 seconds)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/0FA.jpg Medic (B)

Drop a health pack after a friend requests one (multiplayer)

(Online Trophy)

You need only one other player for this. Ask him to request a med-pack via VO commands by pressing  :left: . Once he's done that, drop a med pack and tell him to pick it up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/6BA.jpg Moneybags (B)

Spend over 250,000 MR in Howard's shop

Self explanatory and should pop while grinding to level 50. Just spend 250,000 MR in Howard's shop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/12D.jpg Ninja (B)

Complete a Zone without turning on your flashlight

This is done easily in Zone 1. Just finish the Zone without turning on your flashlight. If you are looking for keys or other items just hug the wall and you should be able to find it without problems.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1638/730.jpg Sugar High (B)

Complete a Zone without stopping for more than 30 seconds total

Best done in Zone 1. You should know by now that the most cost-efficient way to restock on med-packs, ammo and tools is to clear Zone 1 over and over again. If you've done that often enough, you should remember where all the keys are.

Only visit the necessary rooms (Orb rooms/Key rooms) as fast as possible and don't stop moving. Picking up a key should take less than a second. After picking up the key immediately press :circle: + any direction to dodge. That way you will stay in motion and cut down time.

Perform every in-game VO clip for one character

VO clips are basically commands you can give to your MP partners.

There are 16 commands you can give by pressing  to bring up the VO menu. Choose a command group by pressing   :left: or :right: and you will see another 4 options. Press either   :left: or :right: again to perform a VO command.

Some commands like Follow Me (:up:) have two VOs so make sure you choose each command multiple times.

Forsaken rooms are small puzzles. There are 3 outcomes for each room: Light, Blood and Neutral which will give you a Karma boost in the respective alignment. There are 7 rooms and you have to watch all 3 outcomes in every single room for the 3 trophies.

Here is a small guide on what to do to get each outcome.

Introduction:

Welcome to the first DLC Pack Guide for Silent Hill: Book of Memories, titled "Extra Memories", along with the addition of more weapons, story notes, clothing and other collectables... also comes more enemies with past Silent Hill Protagonists!

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Go for all Light Note Changes

The first step to obtaining 100% for this DLC is to obtain the other notes which are introduced in this DLC. If you check the Notes section in your Book of Memories, you will see a few empty slots with a red background which are actually slots for the new notes. Collect these first and once you have all of them, shift all the change notes to light. Refer to Optimist for a detailed guide.

Step 2: Go for all Blood Note Changes

Same as above. Change all notes to blood. Refer to Pessimist for a detailed guide.

Step 3: Collect all DLC Collectables

Go through stages 22+ and search for all new items located in the options with a Red background.

Step 4: Level up to LVL 70

Select a high level zone (90+) that has a Valtiel Mission. Find the GREAT EXECUTIONER (aka. Pyramid Head). Each room in this zone will have a Pyramid Head in it, and killing them gives you the highest amount of XP, so save and clear out each room save then quit and reload and rinse and repeat.

Side Note:

This guide was written by Static-X (StaticX) and may only be used on PS3TROPHIES.ORG. Research and the original guide were written by Static-X. I merely tested Static's guide for accuracy and modified it as to fit the format of my own guide. A few corrections have been made.

Level up to LVL 70.

Simply choose a high stage (The higher up the more XP earned), where the Valtiel Mission is find the GREAT EXECUTIONER (aka. Pyramid Head). Each room in this zone will have a Pyramid Head in it, and killing them gives you the highest amount of XP, so save and clear out each room save, then quit and reload and rinse and repeat until you reach Level 70. Can take a while but is the quickest method to gain XP.

Complete the DLC (red) portions of the checklists.

Rooms: These are both Forsaken Rooms and spawn randomly and there's no way to assure you can get it. Very much just luck of the draw sadly.

Bestiary: New enemy types spawn randomly; safest way to prevent missing them is kill everything in sight. Once killed, they will be checked off the checklist.

Weapons: 6 can be purchased from the store with any character and a further 7th can also be purchased, but you must be the character JAMES. All others will be located randomly throughout zones.

Artifacts: Can be collected by completing any of the zones 22+, and can also be found in the Artifact room and a fair few can just be purchased from the store.

Notes: Can be collected from zones 22+, and is the easiest of all the new Red Checklists to complete as they do not duplicate until all have been obtained.

Small suggestion for artifacts:

Most artifacts can be purchased at the store.

Any remaining artifacts can be obtained by finding a zone with an artifact room. Save your game. Return to the artifact room until you get the artifact you need. Finish level.

Note: You must finish the zone when you get an artifact from the artifact room. If you die, you lose the artifact and its saved progress in your artifact list. But if you just need 1 artifact, you can just get it from the artifact room and the trophy will pop up without finishing the level.

For Broadcasts

These are completely random. As you suggest, there are five per realm. Karma does not influence what broadcast you get. The best way to do this one is just to earn it while you go for the 100 zones. Although random, I unfortunately didn't get the last broadcast until zone 98 or so.

Beast Master

Alternatively, you can get this trophy when you're at a very high level (say 30). You can kill the fire guardian in about 2 hits with a laser gun.

Master

Zone 100 will not necessarily give you a zone with all pyramid heads. The missions are also randomly distributed as is the zone templates. I only ever obtained two zones with all pyramid heads, once around zone 50 and the other at zone 116. I did not get one for zone 100.

Comatose

Another way to change the template without going to an on-line lobby is to do it yourself. Say you selected zone 50 and got a 7 puzzle piece level. Go to zone 49, quit, then go back to zone 50 and the template will have randomized again.

Thanks for the feedback! I will implement them once I'm back home :)

Regarding randomized rooms, I noticed a while back that even though it clearly says the Zone template, when I enter it, it changes again.

For example I had an unknown zone:

1. I created a lobby with that said zone.

2. Left lobby and unknown zone turned to steel.

3. Went back to single player mode and entered that zone.

4. Loading screen shows Derek (Fire Zone).

5.

There's probably unlimited zones, since they are randomly generated.

I'm willing to be that there's a limit to how far down you can go, though. I think there will come a point where damage from any enemy will kill you, maybe around zone 250-300? I wouldn't go that far down to try, though.

Is the platinum for this game really hard? It's given a 5/6 difficulty rating, yet 20 people have the platinum, that'd kinda a bad representation of difficulty rating.

No it's not hard, just depressingly boring to grind to level 50. Most of the players simply can't be bothered to continue.

If you played GTA IV you will know what I mean.

*Guide Stuck*

Yay! :applause:

Trophies hunters have a different mind set when It comes to trophies compared to casual gamer. But grinding is boring.

Exactly. I took my time with this game.

The last week I was away and had nothing else to play other than this game so I grinded 2 levels each day.

I almost died of boredom.

I've a question about Blood Beam trophy...

I've tried to unlock this trophy a lot of times, but it's not unlocking. I reached a zone with 2 mothers and then the 6 bugs they spit. That makes 8 monsters. I'be used level 2 blood ability but te trophy's not unlocking. I'm sure I've hit all 8 creatures, what's wrong? Do you have to hit 5 different creatures?

Thanks guys.

I wouldn't even give a shit about the level 70 trophy. But I bought the game from another region and I have to start over again if I decide to get the DLC.

Fucking Konami.
