Does Difficulty Affect Trophies? Yes. A Heroes' Story must be completed on each difficulty.

Introduction:

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is a hack 'n slash game similar to KOEI's Samurai Warriors series. The game is played through a series of up to eight stages with all characters against various armies in order to unite Japan under your banner. There are two modes in the game, Heroes' Story and Quick Battles. Quick Battles is basically Free Mode. You can select any battle that you have unlocked to playthrough with any unlocked character. 45% of the trophies can be unlocked via Quick Battles, the rest must be unlocked via Heroes' Story.

None of the trophies will unlock during the battle. Do not fret, the trophy has not glitched! All trophies will unlock after the completion screen post-battle. If you happen to die in battle, you will have to complete the trophy requirements again. All trophies can be completed on easy difficulty with the exception of Proud Daimyo, Fearless Shogun and Better than the Best. Those trophies require you to beat the game on a specific difficulty and do not stack.

Step One: Heroes’ Story

The first step is to complete the story for all 16 characters. During this stage, you should aim to complete at least half of the characters stories with a different style or difficulty to knock out most of the trophies:

  • One playthrough on easy difficulty
  • One playthrough on normal difficulty
  • One playthrough while taking zero damage in one battle
  • One playthrough while defeating the enemy commander with a 500+ combo
  • One playthrough while defeating at least 5,000 enemies
  • One playthrough using Normal Arts only in one battle
  • One playthrough while finishing every battle with a BASARA Art
  • Nine+ playthroughs of your choice

Once you have beaten the story for each character following the above suggestions you should’ve unlocked roughly 30 trophies.

Step Two: Quick Battles

Once you have beaten the story with all characters, you can freely farm the majority of the regional materials required for the Have x Equipped for an Entire Battle trophies. For details on the materials required, refer to the trophies description and the Materials section. When/if you have acquired a weapon with five slots, equip all five to knock out them all in one battle.

  • Singing Samurai (B)
  • Beloved General (B)
  • Sideline General (B)
  • Slots Samurai (B)
  • Peaceful Soul (B)

The next part requires you to complete battles in a certain way such as parrying or on horseback. You may have already unlocked some of these trophies naturally during step one. This will unlock the following trophies:

  • Comeback Kid (B)
  • Hawk Eye (B)
  • Horseman (B)
  • Gourmet Shogun (B)
  • Steel Liver Samurai (B)
  • Treasure Hunter (B)
  • Considerate Commander (B)

Step Three: Grinding

Step three will be where the majority of your playtime will originate from. In order to obtain the Fashionista trophy, you must complete each characters story four times. While going through the story four times, refer to Maldron's Good Friend Guide to knock out the majority of the allies. Cross-reference your ally list with the list in Good Friend to find out who you are missing. By this point, you should now have unlocked every stage and acquired every material. If you are still missing some, refer to the Lover of the Fight and Materials section.

Each stage contains a single fugitive. Once you have obtained the ally, Hanzo Hattori, their location will appear on the map as a flashing purple dot. Kill them all via Quick Battles with a single character, preferably Magoichi Saica to unlock Bounty Hunter. Now you'll need to acquire each weapon, level up every character to level 100. For tips on farming weapons and accessories that boost your XP, refer to their trophy descriptions.

Step Four: Clean Up

At this point, the only trophies you may be missing are Man of Morals and Better than the Best. If, as suggested, you killed every fugitive with Magoichi Saica, these trophies will be a breeze due to the stats boost you receive. Congrats on your Platinum!

Complete Heroes' Story on Hard difficulty

Hard difficulty is available as soon as you start the game and should not present much more of a challenge than easy difficulty. If you are struggling try leveling up, equipping accessories that boost your basara and hero time gauge/attacks and/or equipping an ally that can heal you or one-time revive you such as Matsu or Nanbu.

The difficulty trophies do not stack, so you will have to beat the game on each difficulty to unlock all three trophies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/23.jpg Smooth Operator (B)

Complete Heroes' Story while taking no damage in at least one battle

This is easily accomplished during ‘The Last Stand’ as you’ll only face Foot Soldiers, Squad Leaders and Occupation Chiefs. Even on hard difficulty, finishing the battle without a scratch shouldn’t be an issue. This stage usually appears randomly, however, it is scripted within Kanbe and Yoshihiro’s stories.

Another good stage for this trophy is Siege at Karasu Castle. When given a choice, take the hidden path on the left to follow Tenkai. Upon reaching him, lure him down the steps and into the corrosive mist. This will allow you to kill him within a few hits with no damage taken. This appears at some point on every characters story.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/24.jpg Man of Morals (S)

Complete Heroes' Story while defeating less than 100 Enemies

Before attempting this trophy, open the options menu and make sure autosave is switched off. The reason for this is that a defence stage, The Last Stand may randomly appear requiring you to kill a large percentage of the 100. After completing each stage, save your game when prompted. If this stage appears, reload your save until it disappears.

This is easiest to achieve by following Magoichi's red path. You'll play through the following stages:

Battle of Tetorigawa - Minimum Kills: 2

Kaerikumo Castle - Minimum Kills: 5

Cliffs of Mikatagahara - Minimum Kills: 3

Flooding Ueda Castle - Minimum Kills: 3

Kawanakajima Tundra - Minimum Kills: 5

Odawara Castle - Minimum Kills: 5

Dragon Race at Oshu - Minimum Kills: 3

Sekigahara - Zero Hour - Minimum Kills: 5

This allows you to get away with a minimum of 31 kills leaving a large margin for error. When attempting to seize camps, jump and shoot to avoid killing anyone else. Do not equip a weapon that has a chance of dealing elemental damage as it may spread to additional enemies and un-equip your ally to prevent them adding to your kill count.

2 Player Strategy:

Start a new story with Yoshitsugu Otani. Press :start: on a second controller and select a character of your choice. Follow his red route via the following stages:

Battle of Itsukushima - Minimum Kills: 2

Siege of Karusu Castle(Kobayakawa) - Minimum Kills: 5

Gassantoda Castle - Minimum Kills: 1

Battle at Noshima - Minimum Kills: 3

Sekigahara - Assembly - Minimum Kills: 3

This allows a minimum of 14 kills, but it isn't a viable option for those with smaller TVs. The kills from both players will be combined, so leave the first controller idle and work through the stages with your chosen character.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/25.jpg Army Annihilator (B)

Complete Heroes' Story while defeating over 5,000 Enemies

Each story can have anywhere between 5 and 9 stages, so you'll need to average 556-1000 kills per battle.

An easy way to obtain this trophy is to play as a character whose story ends with Sekigahara: Intrusion. As long as you don’t wipe out the base captains you can easily kill thousands of enemies in this stage alone due to the infinite spawn of enemies. Kanbe Kuroda, Keiji Maeda, Yoshihiro Shimazu and Nobunaga Oda all have routes that end with this stage.

Complete Heroes' Story while performing a combo of 500 hits or higher

For this trophy you need to complete the final battle while performing a 500+ hit combo. You can tell when you’re about to enter the final battle by the cutscene and music that plays prior to selecting the stage.

You should achieve this naturally as you progress through the stories. If you’re having trouble with this trophy, play through Mitsunari Ishida’s story. Once you reach the commander in the final battle, spam his :r1: attack over and over.

Complete Heroes' Story on Hard while not equipping Accessories on your Default Weapon(1st Weapon)

For this trophy, you are not only limited to your first weapon, but you cannot equip accessories either. You can equip an ally without voiding the trophy. The character you used to obtain Bounty Hunter should be used to obtain this trophy as their attack, defence and luck stats will have been boosted by 600 each. I would recommend equipping an ally that can heal or one-time revive you as well.

Complete Heroes' Story while using only Normal Art combos in at least one battle

In one battle, only attack enemies using :square:. If you accidentally hit :circle:, reload the stage. This can easily be accomplished on any stage during the story on easy difficulty.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/29.jpg One Trick Shogun

Complete Heroes' Story while using only BASARA/Ultimate BASARA Arts in at least one battle

A BASARA art is performed by pressing :circle: when the gauge underneath your health bar is full. Do not block any attacks as you may unintentionally parry it. You cannot attack enemies to increase your basara gauge like normal as this will void the trophy. There are two ways to increase the gauge without attacking, these are as follows:

Let the enemy commander attack you until your health is very low. Your basara gauge will slowly begin to rise, run around until it is completely full. Another way to raise the gauge is by taunting enemies. This can be done by pressing :select: until the bar is full. You may have to repeat this a few times until the commander dies.

Underneath your health gauge is your Basara gauge. It will slowly fill as you inflict damage upon enemies. Once the gauge is full, press :circle: to unleash a BASARA art. To obtain this trophy chop down the enemy commander’s health and hit :circle: to finish them off. Make sure to kill the commander with a BASARA art on each stage.

Have either 'Lute' or 'Koto' equipped for a whole battle.

Both items can only be created via synthesising. Lute can be created with Himetemari x4, Samurai Folding Fan x5 and 7800 Zenny. Koto requires Omamori x3, Samurai Bracelet x7 and 7800 Zenny. For details on obtaining these materials, refer to the Materials section.

Once you have the required materials for either item, access the Basara Mart from the battle menu, scroll down and select either item to create it. Prior to the battle, equip it to your weapon and then complete the battle. Weapons can hold up to six accessories, so you could knock out all these trophies in one go providing you have a weapon with at least five slots.

In the circle to the left of your health and Basara gauge is the Hero Time gauge. As with the Basara gauge, it will fill as you inflict damage upon enemies. Once the gauge is full, press :l2: to activate Hero Time followed by :circle: to pull off an Ultimate BASARA Art.

When facing the enemy commander, let them attack you until your health is flashing red and then unleash an Ultimate BASARA Art to win the battle. Depending on your level, your health may exceed 5,000 when it’s flashing. In this case, let the commander hit you several more times before unleashing the attack.

You will earn the lower combo trophies through natural progression by either attacking bases or attacking a big group of enemies. The best stage for a 10,000 combo is Sekigahara: Intrusion. There are several bases within this stage spawning enemies indefinitely. Take Mitsunari into this stage and spam his :r1: attack continuously.

The trophy will not pop until you complete the battle. If you die during the battle, you’ll have to do it all over again.

Finish a battle on Horseback.

Several stages throughout the game contain a horse. The easiest stage to obtain the trophy is Dragon Rage at Oshu. After seizing the first camp a horse will spawn and the gate will open. You will engage in a race, a battle and then another race. After the second race is over, you will be at the final part of the battle. Defeat Masamune Date while on the horse to unlock the trophy.

Horse Controls:

This trophy cannot be obtained with Yoshitsugu Otani or Tadakatsu Honda.

Finish a battle after eating 25 rice balls.

Every time you defeat 100 enemies, you will be awarded with a rice ball. They can also be obtained by breaking the red baskets. The best stage to obtain this trophy is Sekigahara: Intrusion as there are several baskets littered around the stage and infinite number of enemies as long as you don't seize every camp.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/44.jpg Steel Liver Samurai (B)

Finish a battle after drinking 15 drinks.

Drinks can be obtained by breaking red baskets either on the ground or being carried by soldiers. The best stage to earn this trophy is Sekigahara: Intrusion due to the number of enemies carrying red baskets.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/45.jpg Treasure Hunter (B)

Acquire a combination of 24 or more Hatena Boxes and weapons from one battle.

Before attempting this trophy, you need to obtain and equip the 4-set accessory, Magnificence. This can be acquired by clearing a Heroes’ Story with 35% game completion. Your current game completion can be viewed at the character select screen.

The best stage to attempt this trophy is Odawara Castle. Seize the three camps within two minutes to lower a drawbridge which will allow you to traverse the roof. Zip and jump across the roofs while breaking blue baskets for a chance to obtain hatena boxes. Once you have broken all the baskets, jump down, defeat all Generals on the map and collect their hatena boxes. This should assure that you receive a minimum of 22 Hatena boxes and two weapons.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/46.jpg Considerate Commander (B)

Finish a battle without breaking a single basket.

The easiest stage to obtain this trophy is Saica Stronghold. You can run straight up to Saica without swinging a weapon. There are no baskets in the vicinity of her starting point, so as long as you don’t stray too far from that area you shouldn’t hit a basket. If you unintentionally break a basket, reload the stage and try again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/47.jpg Good Parent (G)

Level Up every Hero to their Maximum Level.

The maximum level is 100 which requires 1,000,000 XP and you have 16 characters to level. You’ll work through the majority of the levels naturally while aiming for the Weapon Retailer, Fashionista and Good Friend trophies.

In each stage killing enemies, increasing your hit combo, seizing and maintaining camps will grant you XP. Each stage also has two bonus rewards which will usually grant you with 2,000 XP each. The following accessories will boost your XP rate during battle while equipped:

  • Rear Line (XP Rate +1, Health is always low)
  • Cup of Glory (Doubles XP received from special rewards)
  • Sunglasses (XP Rate +0.5, Health gauge is hidden)

If you've completed everything for a character and are still some distance from level 100 here's a method to level up quickly. Equip Hanzo Hattori, Cup of Glory and accessories that boost your hero time and basara attacks. Select Siege of Karasu Castle via quick battles on hard difficulty and follow Tenkai's path. After clearing the first corrosive mist area, wait there until the clock hits two minutes for a fugitive to show up. The fugitive will either spawn in this area or the second corrosive mist area by the left or right corrosive pot. Providing that you have Hanzo Hattori equipped, the exact location of the fugitive will flash on the map.

If the fugitive does not show up it has spawned in Kobayakawa's area which you can no longer access. Either complete the battle or retry in hopes that the fugitive will spawn. Completing the battle while killing the fugitive and without hitting red health will guarantee you achieve roughly 35,000 XP each time. If you equip sunglasses on top of this, you'll be able to earn 40,000-70,000 each time. Remember that your health gauge is hidden while equipped with this accessory which runs the risk of failing the special reward objective. If your basara gauge rises by itself or you hear a rapid heart beat, you have hit critical health and have failed the objective. You should be able to reach level 100 for one character within a single hour using this strategy.

Mitsunari Ishida: After completing his story once, follow his blue path via the following stages:

Battle of Tetorigawa > Kaerikumo Castle > Flooding Ueda Castle > Battle at Noshima > Mines of Ishigakibaru > Ambush at Mimikawa > Hetsugigawa: Heroes

Tadakatsu Honda: After completing his story once, follow his red path via the following stages:

Siege of Hasedo Castle > Headstrong at Kubota > Battle of Kannagawa > Mount Osore > Assault on Ueda Castle > Hetsugigawa: Heroes

Play for 100 hours.

Simply play the game for 100 hours. Time spent in the menus or while paused does not add to your time. You can check your current time by viewing your save file, however, this is unnecessary since you’ll hit 100 a long time before achieving the Platinum.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/50.jpg War Vet (B)

Complete 100 battles.

Win 100 battles to unlock this trophy. You can earn this in Heroes Story’, Quick battles or a combination of the two.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/51.jpg Millionaire

Reach a balance of 1,000,000 Zennys.

Zenny is awarded by killing enemies, inflicting damage after picking up a Money Mallet(time limit), breaking blue baskets, selling weapons and sometimes gifted/awarded by allies after completing a battle. The trophy is not cumulative, but you should reach 1,000,000 during your road to the Platinum.

Here's a method for farming Zenny:

Once you have unlocked Sekigahara: Intrusion, select it via Quick Battles and choose Mitsunari Ishida. As long as you don't seize all of the camps, an infinite amount of enemies will continuously spawn. Use his :r1: special to rack up a hit combo quickly, this will also increase the Zenny multiplier to a maximum of 10. This will allow you to acquire thousands of Zenny every minute. The maximum amount of Zenny that can be acquired in a stage is 99,999. Once you hit the limit, you'll have to complete the stage and start it up again to farm more Zenny.

Weapon Retailer (S)

Acquire Every Weapon in the Game.

Each character has 12 weapons to collect separated on six tiers. Apart from the sixth tier, weapons are acquired by defeating certain Generals while on a specified difficulty. The difficulty required for each tier is as follows:

1st Tier - Easy

2nd Tier - Easy

3rd Tier - Normal

4th Tier – Normal/Hard

5th Tier - Hard

6th Tier – Complete Heroes’ Story twice for the first weapon, three times for the final weapon.

I found the best level to farm weapons was Siege at Karasu Castle. Your equipped accessories and ally holds little importance, but equipping accessories that boost your Normal Art, Basara and Hero Time will generally make the battle even quicker. Make sure to select the battle via Quick Battles on hard difficulty.

After the cutscene, take the hidden left path to follow Tenkai. Once you reach him, lure him into the corrosive mist. This will make defeating him as easy as it is on easy difficulty(without luring him into the mist). Following this strategy will last roughly 2-5 minutes each time and will earn you several Celestial Robe’s along the way.

If you are still struggling to obtain the final 5th tier weapon for a character, try playing through their story on hard. The chance of obtaining a new weapon will be higher, however, the battles will be longer and harder. Once you reach the obtained weapons screen after the final battle, do not continue. If you do not obtain a new weapon, quit the game via the XMB. Once you load up the game again and select Heroes' Story, there will be a continue option allowing you to play through the final stage again. Rinse and repeat until you obtain the final weapon.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/53.jpg Bounty Hunter (S)

KO Every Fugitive with a Single Hero

There are 38 Fugitives, one for each stage. After roughly two minutes a Fugitive will appear at a random location on the map. If you take too long to reach the Fugitive, they will escape. Equipping a maxed out Hanzo Hattori will reveal the Fugitive’s location on the map as a purple flashing dot. Hanzo Hattori can be unlocked by following the following route with Kotaro Fuma after beating his story once:

Battle at Noshima > Nakatomigawa Fortress > Osaka Winter > Cliffs of Mikatagahara

It is recommended to complete this trophy on easy difficulty as some stages require an action to be performed within a time limit which would be difficult to accomplish on hard. A list of how to spawn Fugitive's can be found here.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/54.jpg Good Friend (G)

Recruit every ally.

There are a total of 100 allies available in the game. Allies are unlocked by completing certain stages, but each ally can only be recruited by a specific character. Allies cannot be unlocked during Quick Battles, you must follow specific routes in Heroes’ Story, some of which cannot be unlocked until you beat a characters story a certain amount of times. The 100th ally, Nobunaga Oda, will only unlock once you complete a battle after you have obtained 99 allies. The trophy will not unlock until you complete a Heroes' Story after obtaining all allies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/55.jpg Pack Rat (B)

Acquire every material.

Materials are obtained from Hatena Boxes which are acquired from defeating Generals on the map. Equipping a Gold Handcart will increase the chance of obtaining Great Hatena Boxes which reward you with better materials. Each stage has two unique materials while some materials can be obtained in any stage. Some materials require you to perform a certain action for the material such as parrying or killing a large number of enemies. A single parry won't award you with the material, you'll need to repeat it several times for a chance at it. Occasionally allies will gift you a material after completing a battle.

You can view your collected materials by selecting Basara Mart > Materials. Any blank tiles are materials that you haven’t collected. For a list of materials, how to obtain them and tips, refer to the Materials section.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/695/56.jpg Fashionista (S)

Acquire Every Accessory.

There are over 100 accessories to collect in the game. Some accessories can be brought or obtained in battle while the majority can only be obtained by synthesising materials or completing each Heroes' story. Each character has a 4-set accessory, the full set can only be acquired by completing their story four times. Occasionally Allies will gift you some of the more common Accessories after a battle has been completed.

Each synthesised accessory requires zenny and various quantities of 1-2 materials. You can access the accessory menu by selecting Basara > accessories. When hovering over an accessory, the number of each material you have left will be listed. Refer to the Materials section for details and tips on obtaining materials.

After acquiring the final accessory, complete an additional battle to unlock the trophy.

Materials

The list within this post will guide you towards the Pack Rat and Fashionista trophies. Materials that can be acquired in the same way are grouped together. Each group contains between 2 and 4 materials. The difficulty you play on affects which material(s) from the group you will obtain. The higher the difficulty the bigger chance you have of obtaining the more elite materials. For the materials that require you to perform a special action, you'll have to it several times, just once won't cut it. At the end of the list, some tips for the more difficult materials will be detailed.

Below is a full list of materials. For your convenience, I have listed the materials as they appear in-game and separated them in their groups. This will allow you to easily work out what materials you are missing for the Pack Rat trophy.

Tips

Robes

The best stage to earn robes is Karasu Castle. After the cutscene, take the hidden path on the left to follow Tenkai. Upon reaching him, lure him down the steps and into the corrosive mist. This will allow you to kill him easily with no damage taken even on hard.

Another good stage for this is The Last Stand as you’ll only face Foot Soldiers, Squad Leaders and Occupation Chiefs. Even on hard difficulty, finishing the battle without a scratch shouldn’t be an issue.

Helmets

The Eye for an Eye accessory allows you to automatically parry bullets and arrows while blocking. Unfortunately, Nine Daiymo Helmets are required to synthesise it. Here's how to obtain them:

Nakatomigawa Fortress

Select Keiji and hard difficulty. After opening the gate, head left to the flip tripper. Position yourself inbetween the tripper and the wall and hit :l1: just before it hits. If your health gets too low, move away and press :r2: to heal yourself. Continue until you have built up a large amount of parries. Once you are satisfied, seize all the camps and defeat Motochika. Rinse and repeat.

Kaerikumo Castle

This stage is for those with a low level Keiji or whom suck at parrying. There are many archers across the stage and the speed at which the arrows fly towards you is slow making parrying much easier. Once you are satisfied with your parry count, seize the camps and kill Yoritsuna. Rinse and repeat.

Once you have synthesised and equipped the Eye for an Eye accessory, head into Kaerikumo Castle or Saica Stronghold. For those that suck at parrying like myself, this accessory is a godsend. I was parrying at least eight times more than usual.

Fugitives

Each stage in the game contains a fugitive. A fugitive will not spawn until the clock hits two minutes. For the majority of them, there is no official time limit, but if you take too long, it will not spawn. This limit is usually 3-4 minutes. I would recommend equipping Hot Spring prior to the battle to start the battle with a full hero time gauge. This is because fugitives like to block until they flee and activating hero time with :l2: will make it easier to break through. Sometimes the fugitives are slightly temperamental, if three minutes have passed, you have fulfilled the requirements and the fugitive has not spawned, reload the stage.

Below is a list of stages and how to spawn the fugitive:

Mount Osore (Attack)

Seize all camps within two minutes/The fugitive will appear after two minutes.

This fugitive was temperamental for me. All times but one, it would only spawn if I seized all camps within two minutes. For the other, it appeared shortly after two minutes.

Sometimes the Fugitive will appear on a ledge that can only be accessed by a hidden path. This can be accessed by jumping up to a ledge near the area and flinging yourself with the catapult. This will take you to a new path, run to the end and there will be another catapult. Fling yourself again and you’ll land next to the fugitive.

Dragon Race at Oshu (Defence)

Seize the first camp to open the gate.

Siege of Hasedo Castle (Luck)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Headstrong at Kubota (Attack)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Battle of Kannagawa (Luck)

Defeat the Tiger and Tiger Handler to open the gate.

Kawanakajima Tundra (Luck)

Defeat Keiji(First Time) and Kanetsugu(?)/Defeat Keiji or Kasuga within three minutes.

Defeat Keiji or Kasuga within three minutes. Two of the three spawn points are behind a barrier that you cannot break with your weapon. If you seize the northwest camp, a horse will spawn in the stable. Use the horse to bust through the barrier.

This fugitive was rather temperamental for me. One time it appeared at 2:12 while seizing the camp after defeating Kanetsugu. Every other time it would not appear until defeating either Keiji(second time) or Kasuga.

Flooding Ueda Castle (Attack)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Assault on Ueda Castle (Defence)

Defeat Kojoro Katakura.

Odawara Castle (Luck)

Seize all three camps within two minutes to lower the drawbridge. This will allow you to traverse the roof where the fugitive will spawn.

Kaerikumo Castle (Luck)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Battle of Tetorigawa (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Cliffs of Mikatagahara (Luck)

Open the gate guarded by Tadatsugu Sakai.

The Last Stand (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara - Betrayal (Attack)

Defeat Tenkai within two minutes.

Sekigahara - Schemes (Attack)

Defeat Motochika Chosokabe

Sekigahara - Zero Hour (Attack)

Defeat Muneshige Tachibana and Yoshihiro Shimazu.

Sekigahara - Assembly (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara - Ultimate (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara Aftermath (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara Intrusion (Luck)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Kanegasaki Nightmare (Attack)

Defeat Oichi three times.

Siege of Kanegasaki (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Incident at Honno-ji (Luck)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Osaka Winter (Attack)

Defeat the Death Carriage.

Retaking Osaka Castle (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Osaka: Tiger Summer (Attack)

Defeat Sasuke Sarutobi.

Osaka: Dragon Summer (Defence)

Defeat Kojoro Katakura

Saica Stronghold (Luck)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Siege of Karasu Castle (Luck)

The Fugitive will spawn in either Tenkai or Kobayakawa’s area, but you can only access one of them. You cannot hang back to see where it spawns either. If the Fugitive has not spawned after two minutes, reload the stage.

Gassantoda Castle (Luck)

Inflict damage upon Haruhisa Amago until he runs away to open the gate.

Battle of Itsukushima (Attack)

Open the gate.

Nakatomigawa Fortress (Defence)

Defeat the Rising Sun within two minutes.

Battle at Noshima (Attack)

Inflict damage upon Tsuruhime until she jumps to the Shrine Ship. It does not matter whether your allies or the enemy reinforcements reached the boat first.

Pirates of Noshima (Defence)

The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Mines of Ishigakibaru (Luck)

Lead the engineers to the debris to destroy it.

Hetsugigawa: Memories (Attack)

Open the gate.

Hetsugigawa: Heroes (Defence)

Open the gate.

Ambush at Mikawa (Luck)

Inflict damage upon Yoshihiro Shimazu until he goes into hiding.

for better than best trophy

i have to use a weapon w/ no accessory

but can player 2 use a weapon w/ accessory

or do but of us have to use weapons default

Default weapon with no accessory equipped. I honestly have no idea whether two players will work. If you use a maxed out character, it is a piece of cake though.

Great guide, very comprehensible and made it easy for me to plan my plays, hopefully resulting in the plat time being closer to 200 than 300 hours

Doin a lot of 2 player runs, so that might affect the time some, but hopefully it will shave some of the XP grinds at the end

I figured I would be back and try to plat this game (250 levels missing across all characters and 'just' 10 T5 & 1 T4 weapons) but I found out pretty quick that getting said weapons with Oichi or Motonari is a annoying, to say the least. I decided to 'dual' farm those weapons, meaning 2 Controllers a maxed char, and Oichi or whomever dealing the final blow. Unfortunately after 15 runs in Gassantoda Castle I've only managed to get T4 weapons at best, does playing with 2 chars locks you out of T5 weapons? (common sense says no, but you never know...)

EDIT: Complaining in this forum ALWAYS bring me great results, after doing so, I got 3 new Tier 5 weapons... 7 and 1 T4 to go
