Scourge: Outbreak is a third person shooter developed by Tragnarion Studios and published by UFO Interactive. It takes place in 2026 and puts you in the boots of Echo Squad, an elite group of mercenaries hired by The Tarn initiative to deal a decisive blow against Nogari. While other Tarn Squads have been tasked with diversionary attacks, Echo's objective is the most important: First, to locate and rescue Dr. Resibeck, Tarn's double-agent inside Nogari; Second, to recover a piece of the Meteorite fragment being kept deep within Nogari's laboratories.

With that out of the way, all the trophies in this game are gold trophies and has a platinum on top of it. The story of this game isn't the point and you'll ignore it anyway. Now there are really two different ways to go about achieving the platinum for this game. I'll mention them both because at least one player in your group will end up doing Route A and others Route B. Do keep in mind though that you'll need 4 people for the Co-Op trophy but only need 1 person for all the multiplayer awards.

Okay, in the introduction I mentioned that there are two ways to achieve the platinum for this game. Below I'll explain what they are so you can understand how your gameplay experience will be when going for the Platinum. Now this will mainly work if you got a good helping Co-Op partner. If not then you will end up having to do a lot of work yourself but other Co-Op partners can tag along with you if they like.

First of all, there needs to be someone else or yourself to complete the entire game on 'Normal' difficulty to unlock the Seasoned Pro trophy. This unlocks the 'Nightmare' difficulty mode which can be used for an exploit by the player who went through the trouble of unlocking this difficulty mode. The exploit is very simple because you can simply load the last checkpoints of each level and complete those for it count on Nightmare difficulty. A Party of 3 or 4 people is enough to complete Nightmare and you'll all unlock the Grizzled Veteran trophy. Do keep in mind that the player who has all the checkpoints unlocked needs to reload each level on 'Normal' difficulty so all the Co-Op partners can also get their Seasoned Pro trophy. That is another reason why this person needs to be willing and helpful. All that'll be left is cleanup, which would be completing each level without dying. The main point here is that Co-Op partners will complete the game much faster, if they find someone who already beaten the game on Normal and is willing to help them (P) the game and complete Nightmare difficulty mode. The person who completes the game on Normal difficulty will end up doing about 3 playthrough for the game while Co-Op partners literally only have 1 and a half playthroughs. Everyone is required to complete the entire game's 4 levels without dying and this is done on Causal to make it much easier to get that Award which will be explained within the trophy guide.

Step 0 - Complete the game on 'Normal' Difficulty Mode (Certain players are not required to do this step)

This is the first step towards the Platinum but not everyone will end up doing this step. Basically you'll want to complete the entire game on 'Normal' difficulty mode in order to unlock 'Nightmare' difficulty. This will take about an average of either 8 to 12 hours of your time. You can also have Co-Op partners helping you if you wish to play through Normal difficulty with online Co-Op. At the end of this step you'll have all story related trophies unlocked and Seasoned Pro for completing the game on 'Normal' difficulty mode.

Step 1 - Do the 'Nightmare' Difficulty Mode Exploit in Co-Op Campaign Mode

This is the step what many players will end up doing. With the Co-Op Partners Thread (Read First Post!) find a partner who has already beaten the game on Normal difficulty or if you are the person who completed the game on Normal. Then all you need to do is find other players to help you exploit 'Nightmare' difficulty mode in order to unlock the Grizzled Veteran trophy. The exploit is very simple and all you need to do is have the host make the Co-Op Campaign lobbies on the very last checkpoints of each level and complete them on 'Nightmare' difficulty. This will give everyone inside the co-op lobby credit for completing that level on 'Nightmare' difficulty. Plus, the people inside the Co-Op lobby will also get all the story related trophies just by playing with the host and completing the levels together. For more information, please read the Grizzled Veteran trophy within the trophy guide section. This step might take you about 3-5 hours on average. You guys might end up dying a lot but will manage to complete it as long as you stick together.

Step 1.5 - Have the Lobby Host load all the last checkpoints on 'Normal' Difficulty Mode

After finishing 'Nightmare' difficulty mode, you'll want the lobby host to help everyone inside the lobby get the Seasoned Pro trophy. They do this the same way they did for the exploit of 'Nightmare'. Have them load all the last level checkpoints on 'Normal' difficulty and complete them together. Everyone inside the lobby who didn't have the trophy will obtain it here during this step. This doesn't even take long because it's about 1-2 hours' worth of gameplay, which is very quick and easy.

Step 2 - Unlock all the awards except for the Survival awards from your Outbreak Cards + Cleanup

During this step, you'll be unlocking 33/37 awards from your Barracks Outbreak Cards. This is a little time consuming, but not by much and please note that all the Multiplayer awards can be obtained with only one boosting partner. Also use this step as your cleanup step. You should have all the trophies in this game with the exception of Bathed in Glory. If you still need to get all the Ranks to level 10 for all categories. Please refer to the Master of all Trades trophy description within the Trophy Guide section for more information on how to max out the Ranks. If not done already be sure to do the following before moving on:

  • Complete any Level, in any difficulty, using only the Piranha
  • Complete any Level, in any difficulty, in a 4-player Co-Op game

If you need partners, then please use the Co-Op Partners Thread if searching for Co-Op partners.

Step 3 - Complete all the levels without dying on 'Casual' Difficulty Mode

This is the hardest step to do as you need to basically complete the entire game without dying on any difficulty. This is best done on 'Casual' difficulty mode and you can do it with by playing Single Player or Co-Op Campaign mode. If you do solo, then you can have the A.I do the killing for you and have the A.I reviving each other. This will take much longer that way, but is still a method that is very doable. The other method is the co-op method and you can have 2 or 3 other players do all the killing for you while you're hiding behind cover or waiting for them to complete the checkpoint/levels. Co-Op is the faster method but the surviving player must not die at all and these survival runs need to be done in one sitting to ensure you get the award for not dying on that level.

Personally, I recommend co-oping Levels 1 & 2 and soloing Levels 3 & 4 yourself because I found that to offer better results to finish the Survival awards. At the end of this step you should unlock the Bathed in Glory which should be your last trophy for the platinum if you followed the guide.

Complete all 4 Levels in 'Normal' difficulty mode

Story related and cannot be missed but the difficulty trophies don't stack. This can be done by playing in either Single Player or in Co-Op. The difference between the campaign modes is the following:

  • In Single Player, all other squad members are controlled by the A.I.
  • In Co-op you can play the campaign with up to three other players. Any squad members not taken by a player will be controlled by the A.I.

Now 'Normal' difficulty mode itself isn't hard at all especially if you're familiar with the shooter genre and want to be challenged. If you like to do the glitch exploit to unlock the trophy you can do that as well. Please keep in mind that glitching 'Normal' difficulty can save some people from doing 1 complete playthrough but some players will need to complete the game at least once on 'Normal' to unlock the 'Nightmare' difficulty mode for the 'Nightmare' difficulty exploit.

The end checkpoint exploit method:

The easiest and fastest way to get the difficulty trophies is to find a Co-Op partner who has already beaten the game on 'Normal' or 'Nightmare' difficulty. Have them make a Co-Op Campaign lobby and select the last checkpoints of each level. By completing the last checkpoints of each level while playing on 'Normal' difficulty will unlock the Seasoned Pro trophy because all the players inside the co-op lobby will get credit for clearing all the checkpoints for that certain level just by completing the very last checkpoint of that level. In shorter terms, have this generous person make the Co-Op Campaign lobbies with these following checkpoints and complete them together in Co-Op to get the credit for the trophy requirement:

  • 1.11 Descent
  • 2.12 Override
  • 3.7 Blur
  • 4.7 Vendetta

Please use the Co-Op Partners Thread if searching for Co-Op partners.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1550/214.jpg Grizzled Veteran (G) :tagstory: :tagoffon: :tagsolocoop: :tagdifficulty:

Complete all 4 Levels in 'Nightmare' difficulty mode

Story related and cannot be missed.

'Nightmare' difficulty mode is the hardest difficulty mode available and it's for players who are veterans at the shooter genre. You'll be challenged and enemies can quickly take you down with their increased health and damage output. This mode is highly recommended for 4 player Co-Op (although 2 or 3 players can get it done). If you like to do the glitch exploit to unlock the trophy you can do that as well. Don't be shy about glitching 'Nightmare' difficulty mode because doing this legit is a nightmare and will increase your time to (P) the game. Personally, I advise that you and your Co-Op partners do the exploit method.

By completing the last checkpoints of each level while playing on 'Nightmare' difficulty will unlock the Grizzled Veteran trophy because all the players inside the co-op lobby will get credit for clearing all the checkpoints for that certain level just by completing the very last checkpoint of that level. • 1.11 Descent
  • 2.12 Override
  • 3.7 Blur
  • 4.7 Vendetta

Please use the Co-Op Partners Thread if searching for Co-Op partners.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1550/790.jpg Small-Arms Specialist (G) :tagoffon: :tagsolocoop: :tagdifficulty:

Complete any Level, in any difficulty, using only the Piranha

This can be done on any level in any difficulty as long as you're using only the Piranha, which is the only pistol in the game. You can also do this by playing in either Single Player or in Co-Op. To make this trophy much easier to obtain, simply play the first level on 'Casual' difficulty mode starting at checkpoint 1.2 Awakening and play all the way to the end of the level checkpoint 1.11 Descent. You'll unlock the trophy as long as you never used any other type of weapons. If you're doing this in Single Player then let the A.I do all the killing as needed and if you're doing this in co-op let all the Co-Op partners make things easier for you by killing everything for you. I do recommend that you kill at least one enemy to be sure that you get credit for the trophy.

Things that won't void the trophy requirement are the following:

  • Ability (Shockwave)
  • Melee
  • Commanding the A.I to kill for you

Things that I cannot confirm as I never used them for the trophy are the following:

  • Turrets
  • Shooting Ambrosia tanks
  • Grenades

Complete any Level, in any difficulty, in a 4-player co-op game

:psn:: You must be signed into PSN to unlock this trophy.

Maximum Players Needed to Boost: At least 4.

This can be done on any difficulty mode with any of the 4 characters, but can only be done in a Co-Op Campaign mode with 4 players in the game lobby. You can do this at any point while playing through the game as long as you have 3 other human partners (including yourself). Most players will do this on casual difficulty because it's extremely faster that way. Plus, don't forget that you can also do the exploit for this trophy as well. Simply have the lobby host make the Co-Op Campaign lobby with either of these following checkpoints and complete it together in Co-Op to get the credit for the trophy requirement:

  • 1.11 Descent (recommended choice)
  • 2.12 Override
  • 3.7 Blur
  • 4.7 Vendetta

The trophy will unlock for all players who needed the 4 player Co-Op trophy. If you need partners, then please use the Co-op Partners Thread if searching for Co-Op partners.

See Master of all Trades for more information.

Obtain Rank 10 in all 4 categories

During the game, various actions such as killing enemies, reviving squad members or effectively using abilities will earn you Experience Points (XP) in the following 4 categories:

  1. Abilities
  2. Co-Op
  3. Assault
  4. Weapons

By doing these actions you'll gradually be increasing your Ranks with the highest Rank being 10. As you reach every second Rank, new Perks will be unlocked that suit your playing style. Meaning the game will end up becoming much easier for you and your Co-Op partner(s). For example, using the Shockwave ability a lot will unlock a more powerful version that does more damage and affects a wider radius. These Ranks can also make 'Nightmare' difficulty mode and the Survival awards much easier to obtain for you.

Below is a complete listing the XP Ranks from the Barracks and how to level them up:

Abilities:

  • Shockwave Kill - XP gain per kill with the Shockwave ability.
  • Shockwave Multi-Kill - Multiplied XP gain for simultaneous kills with the Shockwave ability.
  • Protection - XP gain for using the Shield ability to protect yourself from enemy damage.
  • Tactical Protection - XP gain for using the Shield ability to protect a team-mate from enemy damage.

Co-op:

  • Revive - XP gain for Reviving an incapacitated team-mate.
  • Critical Intercept - XP gain for killing an enemy that was targeting a team-mate in critical health.
  • Intercept - XP gain for killing an enemy that was targeting a team-mate.

Assault:

  • Blind-Fire - XP gain for killing an enemy by Blind-Firing from cover.
  • Medium-Range Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy at close range.
  • Melee Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy with a Melee attack.
  • Explosive Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy with explosive damage.

Weapons:

  • Headshot Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy with a Headshot.
  • Long-Range Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy from long range.
  • Suppression Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy while they are in cover.
  • Perfect Kill - XP gain for killing an enemy on your own without missing (100% accuracy)

How to farm Rank 10 in all 4 categories: You'll be glad to know that all of these Ranks can be farmed on level 2 during checkpoint 2.3 Besieged, where you get to the part with the elevator and killing a swarm of alien spider like monsters. You can continue to get an infinite amount of XP just by killing them over and over because their spawn is infinite until you get on the elevator.

I recommend you upgrade these following Ranks in order for the best results possible:

  1. Co-op - Get an online boosting partner and have them stand in the electricity next to the plant in the tank (this was the cutscene were a person touched it and gotten shocked). Let them die and you then revive them. By doing this method you'll be gaining Reviving XP. Please note that you're required to do this anyway for the Revive Award needed for the Bathed in Glory trophy.
  2. Abilities - Once you have Co-Op maxed out at Rank 10, you'll have the perk called "Proximity Recharge" and this will enable you to regenerate Ambrosia when near your teammates. Simply let all your squad members stand near the alien spawn point and use Stonewall or Mass's Shockwave abilities over and over again. You'll be gaining Shockwave Kills and Shockwave Multi-Kills XP by doing this.
  3. Assault - Continue to use the Shockwave ability to farm Assault Rank much faster. Why? Because using the Shockwave ability will also give you XP for getting a Medium-Range Kills. You could also use the Barracuda (the shotgun) to get the close range kills or melee combat, however that is much slower in my honest opinion.
  4. Weapons - Get back to the elevator and shoot the swarm of aliens with an assault rifle gun. This will grant you Long-Range Kills XP. This will take time but you have an infinite amount of ammo to work with here due to the ammo refill crates.

If you're playing online while doing this, then I advise you to save after reaching a maxed out Rank. You can save by going in the elevator and wait for the save icon to finish saving before ending the lobby session.

Obtain all the Unlockables

:psn:: You must be signed into PSN to unlock this trophy.

Maximum Players Needed to Boost: At least 2.

This is the most time consuming trophy in the entire game, but can be done with only 2 players. This trophy is online because you're also required to obtain Versus Mode Awards (Multiplayer). The good news is that Multiplayer can be done in Private Matches. To see all the Awards in the game and the ones you still need to unlock, please do the following:

  1. From the Main Menu or the Pause Screen (press :start:)
  2. Select Barracks
  3. Then Outbreak Card

Inside the Outbreak Card menu you'll find a total of 37 Awards that need to be unlocked for the trophy's requirement. It's pretty basic stuff ranging from various Awards of Weapon Kills, Level Completions, Completing Levels without dying (we'll call it Survival), Multiplayer and getting the killing blow on Bosses.

Now some of these things you'll unlock naturally just by playing through the Campaign Mode. In order to make this much simpler, I’m going to break this done in 4 different categories with the best methods to obtain all the awards. Please note that you only need to earn each award at least once for it to be unlocked in your Outbreak Cards.

Campaign Related (please note that all weapons can be done in Versus Mode):

  • Complete Level 1 - Self-explanatory
  • Complete Level 2 - Self-explanatory
  • Complete Level 3 - Self-explanatory
  • Complete Level 4 - Self-explanatory
  • Piranha - You'll get this by going for the Small-Arms Specialist trophy.
  • 15 killstreak - Self-explanatory, Multiplayer Mode will grant it to you anyway.
  • 20 killstreak - Self-explanatory, Multiplayer Mode will grant it to you anyway.
  • 25 killstreak - Self-explanatory, Multiplayer Mode will grant it to you anyway.
  • 30 killstreak - Self-explanatory, Multiplayer Mode will grant it to you anyway.
  • Quad (Grenade) - Please read Quad (Shockwave) below.
  • Quad (Adhesive Grenade) - Please read Quad (Shockwave) below.
  • Quad (Shockwave) - Get these during Level 2.3 'Besieged' beginning level. Go upstairs and kill the aliens on the stairway. Now command your AI to wait (if playing single player) go in the next room and let the spider aliens gather in a pile. Once all 4 aliens are in a group together kill them with either the Shockwave, Grenade :r1: or Adhesive Grenade :l1:. You'll get the award if done correctly. Be sure to do it on 'Casual' difficulty mode so you take less damage. An online Co-Op partner can also help you by standing there so they pile onto them.
  • Reviving - This is the exact same method to farm Co-Op Ranking to level 10. Get an online boosting partner and have them stand in the electricity next to the plant in the tank (this was the cutscene were a person touched it and gotten shocked). Let them die and you then revive them.

Boss Related:

  • Banshee - Get the killing blow on Banshee by loading checkpoint 4.7 Vendetta. Co-Op partners can help load it for you if you don't have the checkpoint just make sure you're the one who gets the kill. This can be made much easier on 'Casual' difficulty mode.
  • Digger - Get the killing blow on Digger by loading checkpoint 3.6 Digger. Co-op partners can help load it for you if you don't have the checkpoint just make sure you're the one who gets the kill. This can be made much easier on 'Casual' difficulty mode.
  • Lilith - Get the killing blow on Lilith by loading checkpoint 4.6 Lilith. Co-Op partners can help load it for you if you don't have the checkpoint just make sure you're the one who gets the kill. This can be made much easier on 'Casual' difficulty mode.

Versus Mode (Multiplayer) Related:

  • Weapon Pro - This is for obtaining all weapon awards. Now all weapon awards can be earned in Multiplayer lobbies. Just select the map called "Crash" because this Versus Mode map has all the weapons on it. So while doing the Deathmatch 50 kills, please use this opportunity to eliminate some of your 10 kills with certain weapons. Also meet each other in the same spot which is the center of the map.
  • Firefly - Get 10 kills without dying (automatic assault rifle)
  • Barracuda - Get 10 kills without dying (the shotgun)
  • Reaper - Get 10 kills without dying (a burst fire assault rifle)
  • Chimera - Get 10 kills without dying (this is a minigun)
  • Manticore - Get 10 kills without dying (like a plasma grenade launcher)
  • Grenades - Get 10 kills without dying, find some grenades and press  then :r1: for normal Grenades. Have your boosting partner run on top of it and die. Repeat this 10 times.
  • Adhesive Grenades - Get 10 kills without dying, find some grenades and press  then :l1: for Adhesive Grenades. Have your boosting partner run on top of it and die. Repeat this 10 times.
  • Guardian - Get 10 kills without dying (sniper like weapon)
  • Melee - Get 10 kills without dying
  • Shockwave - Get 10 kills without dying (also this is Ability Rank farming so you'll have this already). You hold :l2: down for the Shockwave ability, please use Stonewall or Mass as they have the best Shockwave abilities.
  • Team Deathmatch - Map on Crash, set to 10 kills, bots off, number of bots 1, time limit 60, and respawn delay 1. Simply get 10 kills and zero deaths in private match with your boosting partner.
  • Deathmatch - Map on Crash, set to 50 kills, bots off, number of bots 1, time limit 60, and respawn delay 1. Simply get 50 kills in private match with your boosting partner
  • Capture the Flag (captures) - Map on Crash, number of rounds 1, score limit 3, time limit 60. Please keep in mind that you can do both the CTF at the same time. So I advise that you kill your boosting partner 10 times then go get 3 flags captures. You'll end up getting both the CTF awards.
  • Capture the Flag (Kills) - Get 10 kills in CTF without dying and win the round.
  • End a Player's Killstreak - Best way to get this is during a Deathmatch, set it to 5 kills and let your partner kill you 4 times. Now you kill them which will end their killstreak. Basically you're killing your partner when they're only 1 kill away from winning. This is the only way to unlock the award.
  • Afterlife Kill - For this you need to kill an enemy player after you died. The best way to get this is same method for ending a player's killstreak. Play a Deathmatch then you throw a grenade at your partner, then they quickly kill you. If done correctly and you're dead they'll die from your thrown grenade and you should get the award. You can also stand by an Ambrosia tank and when you throw the grenade, have your partner shoot the green Ambrosia tank as quickly as possible. It'll blow up killing you then the grenade under their feet will also blow up killing them so you'll get the award.

Survival Related (no deaths on all levels):

Survival is the hardest awards to obtain and this can be done with co-op partners or solo. Do these survival runs on 'Casual' difficulty mode to save yourself the trouble of taking more damage than necessary. Even on 'Casual' you can still easily die. You need to complete all levels for the entire game without dying at all. The only level that is not needed is 1.1 Tarn (Tutorial). You cannot skip checkpoints at all either. Playing in Co-op might be best for most players because you can have a player being bait and do all the killing for you. If playing in Single Player you can have the A.I do all the killing for you and have them reviving each other. It'll take longer but still doable that way too.

Below I can give you some advice but also note that there is no known exploit to get around doing these. You have to do them legit no matter what and no, saving to a USB drive or the PS :ps+: Cloud save will not work for these awards. I also recommend you do the level in one sitting as it's somewhat unconfirmed if resuming a game will void or not void the award.

Level 1 (no deaths) - Best done solo but way faster online. There's nothing really much to go over for this level as you shouldn't have an issue due to all the cover and hiding places this level has. Plus you can always just have the AI do all the killing for you or have a co-op partner do all the killing and go all out Rambo on everything.

Level 2 (no deaths) - This is best done in Co-Op as it'll be faster. This level is the hardest level in the game and is also the longest one to get through (it's like 1 hour Co-Op and 2 hours solo). I don't recommend doing this one solo even though it's very possible to do it solo if you wish to do so. I'll just go over the hard parts for this level as everything else you'll encounter should pose no issues for you at all. You only need one human player to help you but 3 is also nice it's just having 2 A.I players helping you are more effective in my point of view over this level. Checkpoints 2.1 to 2.6 are all the basic stuff. Just have your A.I do all the hacking while you cover them and the surviving players just sits back and chill in hiding place. Checkpoint 2.7 is one of the hardest parts because you're going to need the human partner to destroy the two towers using the turrets. Now I recommend that you have the surviving player be hiding behind the big crate on the 2nd turret platform, while the human player uses the 2nd turret to destroy the two towers. Focus on one tower at a time and be sure to use the A.I to do all the reviving as needed. What I do when I'm the helping partner is shoot a tower briefly then quickly get off the turret and retreat back to where the surviving player is hiding. This will take a few minutes of your time but you'll get through and both towers will go down this way. You need to retreat back because the warships missiles will kill you. You can shoot them down with the turret but it's just faster to run away from them.

Checkpoint 2.8 is a boss fight with Alpha and he teleports so make sure that your surviving partner is ready to run as needed and has a shotgun or assault rifle on him/her, just in-case an enemy gets to them. I do recommend that the human partner and survivor make it to the other side of the room and the surviving player hides behind the small tower like balcony object. You'll know it when you see but for this boss fight you guys need to shoot all the green Ambrosia tanks in the entire room/area. This causes the boss to regenerate lost health. The faster you destroy these tanks the faster he will go down. Personally I haven't counted them but they're might be about 12 tanks in this room. You'll be told that they're all destroyed and they are easy to spot anyway. Also make sure you kill all his allies before going after the tanks even this is common knowledge but just be careful. With that out of the way, I'm going to just all the way to the last checkpoint of 2.12 because this will end up giving you problems if you don't know the basic strategy to get through this checkpoint. Those other checkpoints should not give you any trouble. First of all, have your human player kill everything in this room until you need to downstairs to the trigger the next wave of enemies. Don't go downstairs, 1st have you surviving player get the shotgun from the left side of the room. It should have a damage bonus on it and also be sure that the human player has a shotgun too (even though he should already have one). Now have the survivor player go all the way in the back to hide in the white room hallway. Human player commands both AIs on the turrets then finally go downstairs to trigger the next enemy wave, and then quickly run back upstairs. Kill everything coming and also kill the enemies that spawn from the door on the right of the upper level, then kill the mini boss and extract the DNA or whatever he drops.

With all that out the way here is where the strategy needs to be played out correctly in order to not die at all. Don't trigger the next wave just yet but have everyone go to the next objective located on the center tower in the middle catwalk. Have the surviving partner hide being one of the lower ledges and use the shot gun on anybody that gets to close. Also shoot anyone coming out through their side of the room's doorways. The human partner takes the other side of the room and shoots anything coming out of their room's doorways. Also before starting this, I personal recommend that you place an A.I on each side of the platform next to each human player. They will help kill for you and when you're ready hit the switch. Be on the look out to hit the switch as needed while killing the waves of enemies. Keep killing them and taking cover as needed and remember to use the shotgun on the enemies who are getting too close to you guys on the catwalk (Assault Rifle the doorways and farther enemies). When the elevator arrives do not rush to it but kill everything else that is still alive and then get to the elevator to end the level.

Level 3 (no deaths) - Best done solo and one of the easiest levels in the game. I recommend that you have a shotgun and an assault rifle on you at all times. Let all the A.I do all he killing for you and let them also hack everything. I'm going to skip straight to checkpoint 3.4 because as mentioned everything else shouldn't cause you an issue. Checkpoint 3.4 is a boss fight with a warship, now I personal recommend you do a somewhat exploit that I discovered which will make this level easier. First off kill all the enemies then when the warship comes. Get on the elevator near the back, but stand on the upper right hand corner of the elevator. You'll go up with the elevator but will get stuck in the corner. This will prevent you from getting killed throughout this boss fight. Command the A.I to do all the killing for you again and when waves of enemies spawn from the upper right of the stairs near the warship. Command the A.I to kill them then you can run upstairs to hide there if you like. Nobody will spawn there to kill you either. Once the warship is getting very low on health, another wave of enemies will spawn on the upper level platforms where the elevator goes to. Have the A.I kill them as well (staying on the elevator can cause these enemies to end up killing you sometimes). Afterwards everything is simple again to going back and letting the A.I do all the killing. When you get to the next section of waiting for the doors to open just hide in the far back room while the AI do all the killing for you.

Anyway going to skip checkpoint 3.6 boss fight Digger because he's very easy with this strategy. When the fight starts, command the A.I to attack him while you run where the grenades are located then just throw grenades at him until he dies. If you did this right, the A.I will keep him busy and stuck at one place where you can continue to throw grenades at him continuously. When you get to the last checkpoint of 3.7 with Blur, just kill everybody on the lower floor while making your way upstairs. While upstairs command the A.I to kill everything outside on the catwalks, they will end up killing Blur for you because Blur is always on the upper level catwalks. Once he's dead, quickly kill all the clones in the room to end the level.

Level 4 (no deaths) - Best done solo and one of the easiest levels in the game. I recommend that you use the sniper rifle and shotgun at all times. This level maybe easy but I will admit that it has very little hiding/cover places. That’s one of the many reasons why you want the sniper rifle and the shotgun as your main weapons. Let all the A.I do all he killing for you and let them also hack everything. There's only two hard checkpoints to go over which is checkpoints 4.2 and 4.4. For checkpoint 4.2 try to stay back as far as you can and snipe aiming for headshots to save ammunition. There will come a point after you destroy an ice wall that you'll need to make it down to the lower bridge level area. I recommend that you take your time and try to destroy the ice cliffs that you see above the cliffs. There two of these and they spawn infinite enemies with snipers. These guys can kill you in two shots which are why it's critical that you destroy them immediately while having the A.I deal with the enemies on the ground levels. Afterwards, command one A.I comrade on a turret while you command the other two A.I to kill the incoming enemies on the bridge. Try your best to help the two A.Is here by picking off enemies from afar.

The last checkpoint that is hard is checkpoint 4.4 because you'll have to kill every enemy in this room and the space is very small. You'll need your shotgun for this and you'll need to help the A.I with killing because you can get swarmed if they aren't killed fast enough. I do suggest that you make your way up stairs while commanding the A.I to watch your back and front areas. When doing this take cover and kill the closest enemies near you. If you see your A.I teammates killing an enemy try to help them out. It may sound easy but most players might end up died in this room when they get here so play it safe.

Everything else about the chapter is easy even the boss fight for Lilith. You can get rid of the sniper rifle when you get to her on checkpoint 4.6. Use an assault rifle and kill Lilith with grenades and shotguns rounds. Don't melee those spider like monsters she summons they could kill you so spam your shockwave to kill those monsters in a safe matter. The final boss fight against Banshee is a joke and you shouldn't even die here if you have beaten the game on Nightmare and Normal difficulties, just remember to hide behind the rocks so you won't get breathed on to death and to use your shockwave to kill the alien monsters.

Within a single session, obtain at least 6 Awards in one Multiplayer round or one Campaign level.

For this trophy, you need to earn at least 6 different Awards in either one Multiplayer round or from any Campaign mode's level. The truth is that you'll end up getting this trophy without even trying. Boosting in Multiplayer can also give it to you too but most players will get it from the Campaign mode. Just by playing through the game you should attempt to go for the 30 killstreak, 10 kills without dying with two different weapons and a level completed on any difficulty. Those things will end up giving you a results screen like this:

  1. Complete Level 1
  2. 15 killstreak
  3. 20 killstreak
  4. 25 killstreak
  5. 30 killstreak
  6. Kill 10 enemies in a row with the Piranha without dying
  7. Kill 10 enemies in a row with the Firefly without dying
  8. etc

As you can see, it's nothing too challenging at all and you'll end up getting it without even trying for it.

Very helpful and detailed Blaze.

I was interested in this game, but doubt I'd be able to get 4 people for the co-op trophy.

Most people have issue finding 4 people to play with. I don't mind being a body there for those that do need the 4 player co-op trophy. The game itself isn't that popular despite all the gold trophies it offers. :(

Great guide. Quality stuff, but I'm curious. Why not just turn on friendly fire and kill all squad members and then revive them for co-op rank.. I mean I know u can't do it in single player with bots but couldn't u do it with a buddy online? Curious..

For some odd reason reviving the AI doesn't work for the award. Not only that but the 10 revives need to come off the same person. So you cannot revive two different human players (5 times each for example) and get the revive award.

It just won't count and the only best option is simply to get it off a boosting partner. I'll add that reason in the guide later today as well.

I'll finish Level 4 survival info later today and cleanup before submitting. I didn't think the survival information would be so long when I threw that together. Full of typos from rushing it. :o

Just got plat. It was pretty brutal. Survival even on casual u really can't make any mistakes.. Francofone says it's best to be host when you're trying to survive, but I tend to disagree, because u can bring less attention to yourself and be more recon solo. But it's up to your type of play style in the end. 3.6 digger was giving me trouble on survival, as was all of chapter 3. But it was due to petty mistakes.. My best advice would be to take your time and get a rhythm down. Don't rush and don't corner yourself either. Keep on your toes and try to predict enemy movements..

I disagree with being the host when trying to survive in co-op gameplay. The only reason behind that is because only the host has the power to command the AI to do the killing and hacking. It's best for the host to be the killer/Rambo guy while commanding the AI.

And congrats on the (P).

You wrote this bad that I don't understand it. Are you talking about resuming checkpoint for later on if you didn't die. Your teammate's (AI) deaths has nothing to do with it anyway.
