Bright Lights! Big Screen! is based of the popular board/dvd game with the same name. The game itself is a trivia game similiar to Buzz!, but is completely movie related in all catagories & questions. The questions range in a variety of genres and catagories and are presented in different rounds made up of unique puzzle blocks. The bulk of Scene It's trophies are not that hard at all to obtain and can be done in just a few hours. The Faster Than Light & Spotless Performance trophies are the hardest two in the game and are what give this game it's high difficulty ranking. It's best to leave at least the Faster Than Light one til last as it will give you a good amount of time playing through the game normally to get a feel for all the different games and also a good idea to the questions & answers to help you speed along. Road Map Step 1: Play two short games w/ 2 players - Start your first game with stars activated and, without using your stars, take turns getting questions right with each player so you trade 1st place at least 5 times between yourselves, than get back into first place by under 1000 points and finish the game. This will net you Short Film, No Margin For Error, Slippery Slope, & Shy Starlet. Next game you want to focus on getting as many questions as possible so you can get over 200,000 points without player 2 answering anything. Make sure you use your stars as well and win both your tries. This will net you Bit Part, Supporting Role, Heroic Score, Background Artist, Bonus Bandit & Upper Echelon. Step 2: Play two long games (1 game w/ 4 players & 1 w/ 2-4 players) - First game you want to do with 4 players. Start the game and have the other 3 players get an answer right and you none. Finish the first round (not just puzzle block, but complete round) so you are in 4th place. When you start round 2, answer a question yourself so that you are in first by under 1000 points and finish the game out. This will net you Epic Feature, Skin of Your Teeth, Quiz Quartet, & Come From Behind. Next game you want to play w/ 2-4 players and aim for getting 400,000 points by the end of it. This will net you Star, Award-Winning Performance, Legendary Score & Lead Role. Step 3: Play 11 games - Play 11 more short/long games with an avatar you haven't used yet. This will net you Couch Potato, Home Rentals, Video Store Clerk, & Casting Call. During this run, you will also want to go for all your puzzle type trophies that you are missing, as well as Hot and Cold if you don't have them all already from previous runs. You can also try for Spotless Performance during this run as well if you care to try. Step 4: Play a 4 person Party-Play game - Start a 4 person party-play game and be the only one to answer questions correctly for the first 5 puzzle blocks, then keep playing til you finish 50 questions total (just questions, not puzzle blocks). This will net you Party On! & Life Of The Party. Step 5: Play 2 Fast-Fire games - Start a fast-fire game and do nothing throughout it. This will give you False Start. Next game aim to get over 500,000 points for the Blazing Pace & Faster Than Light trophies. Step 6: Clean up - Clean up any remaining trophies you have at this point for the platinum! Answer the questions as fast as you can and make sure you get the majority of them right. If you get stuck on a question that reveals more over time, it's best to wait it out until you know the answer and get some points for the question than none at all. It also helps if you're doing this with 2 or more people playing as you can use the stars to help net you 1.5x points in a round or two. A trick I found is to have 4 people playing and when the other players have enough stars, have them use them and then make the arrow land on your color bar so you get the point bonus instead of them. This way, you can usually get 2-3 puzzle blocks with bonuses each round instead of just the one if playing with only 2 people. Remember though, the more points you have over your competitors, the smaller your colored spot becomes, so it helps to answer questions with the other controllers to keep them in the game and make it easier to hit those boxes. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/288/10.jpg Star (Bronze Trophy) Score 100,000 points in a Long Game. The absolute killer trophy in this game. There is no way known (as of writing) to cheat this trophy other than using notes others have posted or your own. There are a few postings of peoples notes in the forums here and also at our sister site http://www.xbox360achievements.org/ that you can use to help yourself out. They aren't 100% complete, so you will still come across a question here and there that you will have to come up with your own answers for, but definitely helps towards everything. Make sure you are familiar with all question types before attempting this trophy so you have an idea of what to expect and what the notes refer to or else they won't do you too much good. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/288/42.jpg False Start (Bronze Trophy) Score less than 50,000 points in Fast-Fire Game. This is one of the two hardest trophies in the game. I'd advise you to try for this one last as it will you give time to play through the game and get an understanding of the different question types and will let you get familiar with the questions & answers in the game to help you move along faster. Just answer questions as fast as you can CORRECTLY as wrong answers will net you no points and will give you a time penalty. The sequence type & credit roll games are your main killers in this, so make sure you get those knocked out as fast as you can. If you don't have at least 250,000+ points by the half-way point, you will probably want to retry. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/288/30.jpg Party On! mitmat
Just wanted to say THANKS for an excellent guide and road map! The road map is especially helpful and straightforward. Blessorship
Thanks for the great guide, OnceFallen! My only question is: Do you actually have to watch all of the credits for each game to earn Casting Call? (play a full game with each avatar) The reason I ask is becuase it also states you have to watch all the credits for the Quiz Quartet trophy. (play a full game with 4 players) That trophy popped for me before the credits rolled. The credits are over 6 minutes long, making minimum platinum time an extra 60+ hours, otherwise I would'nt bother asking. (and wont bother going for that trophy!) Thanks in advance, and thanks again for the excellent roadmap. Edited April 25, 2010 by Blessorship

I have heard from some people that they said they "had" to watch the credits in order to get certain trophies, but I haven't had to in any of them I have... I put it in there as pre-caution though as like I said, some people were saying they had to in order to cause them to pop. What I would say to do is to play the game until you get to the credits, let them roll for about 5-10 seconds and then exit out of it to be on the safe side. I would give you a difinitive, but I can't remember if I watched them or not originally to get the trophy (I know for a fact I did not for all of them, but might've for 1-2 of the characters). Blessorship
Thanks for the quick response! I will try it without watching the full credits, maybe just 5-10 seconds, and report back whether or not I got the trophy.

zoidberg101
I have a question. For the 2 hardest trophies in the game surely google would be good to find some of the answers so you can make sure you can get all of the right. For the Quick Fire one can you pause the game and again use google to find the anwsers for extra points. I have not played the game just wanted to ask before I bought it to see if this method would make it easier.
