Introduction

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is the second full game in the Sacred video game series and is a prequel which takes place 2,000 years before the events of the original game.

A mysterious and volatile substance called T-Energy is the source of all life and magic in Ancaria. It was originally solely under the control of the ancient race of Seraphim, however over time as they lost interest in the world they gave some of their control to the High Elves. With this power, the High Elves quickly became the dominant race of Ancaria.

A power struggle is raging between two factions within the High Elves. The nobility and clergy are each trying to gain control over the T-Energy. Other races take advantage of the distraction the conflict provides and try to gain control of the T-Energy themselves, so they can become the dominant and most powerful race. As these events unfold, the T-Energy goes increasingly out of control and changes into a destructive force that mutates creatures, destroys cities, and renders entire regions uninhabitable. The campaign selection you make will determine whether your story involves healing the land, or intensifying the chaos. (Source: Wikipedia)

Walkthrough

Step 1: Play as each character class and reach Level 15

This is more of an introductory step and my reason for this is so you can have some experience of playing as each character and find your 2 favourite classes, one for completing the Light Campaign and the other for completing the Dark Campaign. Do checkout the following links for useful information which will help you with the game. The official Sacred 2 forums is a good place to ask questions as many hardcore players still lurk there and will be happy to assist you.

Useful Resources:

Sacred 2 Wiki Mainpage | Classes | World Map | Set Items | Official Sacred 2 Forums

My recommendation is to use the Seraphim for the Light Side, and the Shadow Warrior for the Dark side. Both characters are very easy to use. You can't go very wrong with the Shadow Warrior as long as you stick to focusing on a select few Combat Arts and Skills instead of being a jack-of-all-trades. For the Seraphim, I highly recommend this BFG build and use her as your main character for all other trophies in the game. These are just my suggestions, you are free to use any class you like which could be faster or slower, it depends on too many factors.

Step 2: Complete the Dark Campaign on Bronze difficulty

If you follow my recommendation, then you'll be using the Shadow Warrior for this step. Sacred 2 Wiki: Shadow Warrior info. My build is to go for Dual Wield, Tactics and Constitution skills and anything else that boosts your HP and Offense. I also choose to focus on the Death Warrior and Maleovent Champion aspects as they are easier to manage compared to Astral Lord. For Combat Arts I relied mostly on Scything Sweep and Frenzied Rampage.

I strongly recommend going for the Dedicated trophy on this playthrough, together with Survivalist and Scrooge if you're up to it. All 3 are missable trophies. For Dedicated you need to have completed a Bronze campaign with less than 20% of the map explored. If you focus solely on the main quests and wander off as little as possible, then you should end the story with only about 17.5% of map explored. Remember to bring along lots of potions to prevent yourself from dying and messing up on Survivalist.

Step 3: Complete the Light Campaign on Silver Difficulty

Again, if following my recommendation, you will be using the Seraphim for this campaign and you should be playing on Silver difficulty (or Bronze if you've already secured someone for boosting Step 4). The Seraphim BFG build is one of the most popular, newbie-friendly, and low maintenance builds out there and pretty overpowered too if done right. If you haven't done them, then you should definately go for the Dedicated, Scrooge, and Survivalist trophies on this playthrough or you'll need to create a new character just to obtain these 3 annoying trophies. Again take note that Dedicated must be done on Bronze difficulty, but if you have that out of the way you can start the story on Silver difficulty (keeping in mind completing Silver is required to unlock Gold difficulty and so on..).

Step 4: Complete the game on Gold and Platinum difficulty + Clean Up

If you found someone to boost the difficulty trophies with you, then that's great news. Have the person host a game on the required difficulty, and you will unlock the difficulty trophy upon joining the game. There is no need to complete the story on that specific difficulty. Trophy Boosting Thread

If you can't find anyone to boost with, then you should aim to clean up all the remaining trophies such as Extremely Diligent, Medicine Man, Lone Ranger, Master Cartographer and any others in your Gold and Platinum playthroughs. Work on the missable trophies as well if you haven't already achieved them. Once you've completed Platinum, just start a new campaign with the same character on Niob difficulty and the final difficulty trophy Legendary Tougheness should unlock, there is no need to complete the story on Niob.

Step 5: Complete Multiplayer Trophies

First, host a game and have someone join you to unlock "Hospitable". Having 3 other players in the same game will unlock the "Group Hug" trophy. Then trade with any player to unlock the "Hawker" trophy. Use the boosting thread as necessary: Trophy Boosting Thread

Congratulations on achieving the Platinum for Sacred 2!!

Earn all trophies in the game to achieve the Sacred 2 Platinum Trophy

Congratulations you are a Master of Ancaria!

Main Campaign Trophies

Any Hero has completed the Light campaign.

See the 'Dark Ruler of Ancaria' trophy below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/19.jpg Dark Ruler of Ancariahttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero has completed Dark campaign.

During the creation of your character you can choose to have him/her play the Light or Dark campaign. Seraphims can only play the Light campaign, whereas Inquisitors can only play the Dark campaign. You can play and complete the story in a multiplayer game and have stronger players walk you through the game, but beware of being underleveled the next time you start a new campaign on a higher difficulty level.

My recommendation is to use Seraphim to complete the Light story, and Shadow Warrior for completing the Dark story. Both characters are rather easy to use and if built correctly can be pretty overpowered.

For Seraphim, I use the BFG build which you can refer to HERE, it works pretty well against mobs and bosses and doesn't require you to look for more advanced weapons so you don't need to buy anything and this helps immensely with the trophies Scrooge and Millionaire.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/21.jpg Survivalisthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

You completed the campaign with a Hero who never died.

This is best done on Bronze difficulty. You must play very cautiously and avoid getting into fights that are beyond your ability. Enemies appear on the screen with a circle beneath them that indicates their strength relative to yours (Green = Weak, Yellow = On Par, Orange = Strong and Red = Very Strong). So you obviously want to approach the last two categories carefully or avoid them at all costs.

Hold :r1: and select "Overview" to open your general stats screen which also tells you how many times you've died across ALL your playthroughs, so you cannot attempt this on a character's second playthrough if that character died on a previous playthrough. You must keep this stat at 0. If you are using the Seraphim BFG build I recommend, this actually won't be too much of a problem as long as you play with a clear head.

If you die, do NOT save or leave the game via the ingame menu as it will autosave and record your death. Immediately quit to the XMB menu and reload the game, hopefully your flawless record is still intact. If not then I'm afraid you will need to start all over again with a new character. This should be attempted together with Scrooge and Dedicated trophies to knock all 3 out in a single playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/47.jpg Scroogehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has completed the main quest without buying anything.

As the trophy says, you need to complete the campaign without buying anything at all, except for Normal and Unique mounts which you can purchase without fear. This should be attempted together with Survivalist and Dedicated trophies to knock all 3 out in a single playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/22.jpg Dedicatedhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero has finished Bronze with no more than 20% of the map being explored.

You should only attempt this either while playing as the character whose campaign you have to finish but have no interest in developing any further, or on your first playthrough with your favoured main character. Aim to finish only the main quests, which are the locations indicated by Gold rings on your map. DO NOT equip any items that increase visibility range. Try to keep this stat at below 19.5% as the game may round up the figure if you're at 19.5% and above and therefore won't give you the trophy. This should be attempted together with Survivalist and Scrooge trophies to knock all 3 out in a single playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/07.jpg Legendaryhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero reaches Level 35.

You will need to play as each class once and get them up to a minimum of Level 15. Create a character for each class and start a new campaign. Each character will have a different starting location but eventually share the same quest hubs/towns and similiar main quests. Questing is the faster way for gaining levels as opposed to just grinding kills and it will take a couple of hours for each character to reach Level 15.

From there, select a character that you favour the most or has the best equipment to be your main character and continue further and complete the campaign. You will likely hit somewhere around Level 30 upon completion of a Bronze campaign, so you can start a new Silver campaign where your levels will carry over.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/25.jpg Toughnesshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/28.jpg Legendary Toughnesshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_gold.png

Any Hero reaches difficulty level Niob.

All three difficulty level trophies are boostable and the easiest way to go about it is to have someone within 10 levels of you host a game on the respective difficulty, then get them to invite you to their game (or make it public). The trophy for that difficulty will unlock upon joining the game. Take note that to be able to see a game all players will need to be playing the same side of the Campaign. Players on the Light side will only be able to view online campaign games by hosts who are playing on the same side, and vice versa for the Dark side.

If there isn't anyone available, then you will need to complete the game on a lower difficulty first to unlock the next difficulty. Completing Silver unlocks Gold, which in turn opens up Platinum and so on.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/34.jpg Extremely Diligenthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero has solved 40% of all sidequests.

Press :r1: to bring up the cycle menu and choose "Overview". Here you will find the general stats screen that indicates the number of quests you have solved. There are over 500 quests in the game so you will need to have successfully solved about 200 of them. You should attempt this with your main character that you aim to bring up to level 35. Please note that sidequesting will often lead to various areas all over the map and therefore increase the % of map revealed, thus having an impact on Master Cartographer and Dedicated trophies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/29.jpg Junior Cartographerhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has explored 50% of the map.

Press :r1: to bring up the cycle menu and choose "Overview" and on the same stat menu you will find the % of map revealed. Unexplored areas on the map will be greyed out and explored areas will be colored. You should only explore with your favoured main character and only when attempting to obtain the Extremely Diligent trophy above at the same time. Go off the main road, wander around, search every nook and cranny for paths to new areas to unlock this.

Any Hero has read 100 epitaphs (graves).

Throughout the world you will find many epitaphs (grey tombstones) especially in graveyards located within or near major towns. Inspect 100 of them using :l1: with a single character to unlock this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/32.jpg Polytheisthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has explored all 20 Temples

Most of the temples are easily located within or near towns and cities but a few are very hard to access and might require you to solve some prerequisite sidequests first. Please note that you have to ENTER the temple and not just discovered it by sight from some distance.. Gen Ed E Lee over at xbox360achievements.org has written a location guide for all 20 temples HERE but unfortunately his reference map has since been removed.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/33.jpg Bookwormhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has read 33 Books.

Enemies and chests will sometimes drop books that you can pick up. It will appear in your inventory under "Miscellaneous" and you can choose to read them with :circle:. A list of books you have read will appear in the "Quest Log" submenu (:r2:). Picking up and reading the same book twice does count as reading two books.

Any Hero has found the secret halls of Ascaron.

To access the halls of Ascaron, you first need to find a switch within a cave in the Jungle region and turn it on, then return to Teardrop Hamlet in the High Elf Region and look at your map. Go around to the North East of the huge lake near where you are and keep going until you see a series of hanging wooden bridges. Make your way across and look for a cave which should lead you to the place. To achieve this, you must have discovered the town and walked into it to allow the game to process that you have actually visited the town and not just discovered it while running outside the walls. Kill Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/40.jpg Slaughtererhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has slain 10,000 opponents.

In your General Stats screen you will find a kill counter that tracks your character's kill total across your multiple playthroughs. This stat includes all kills of common enemies, elites and bosses. You need to get 10,000 kills with a single character. At the end of a Bronze campaign you will probably have somewhere around 2500-3000 kills. If you boost the rest of the Gold, Platinum and Niob difficulty trophies, you will have a long way to grind but it is still better than going through the entire game a few more times just to get to Niob.

Continue playing on Bronze or start a new campaign with the same character on Silver, run around killing everything you see and work towards Extremely Diligent and Master Cartographer trophies in the process during your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/41.jpg Butcherhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero has slain 1337 elite monsters.

Elite monsters are obviously tougher than their normal counterparts and on screen, their circle appears differently with a triangle in the middle. On the minimap their icon will also appear longer than the standard red arrow icon that indicates normal enemies. You will need to kill 1337 of these using a single character, all kills across multiple playthroughs will add up towards the total. Unfortunately there is nowhere to track your progress for this stat.

It is pretty uncommon to find elite monsters in groups but luckily there is a great place known commonly as the "Orc Cave". The method is described HERE by Dobri. It rewards pretty decent XP and Loot and best of all is that the enemies respawn very quickly!!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/08.jpg Dragon Slayerhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has slain 5 dragons.

See the 'Dreadnought' trophy below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/26.jpg Dreadnoughthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero has slain 25 boss monsters.

A map of boss locations is provided below and all you need to do is to seek out and slay 25 of them. You'll probably kill about 10 of them in the progress of the main story but for the others you'll need to seek them out via exploration or through side quests.

Dragons also count as bosses in the game and can easily overpower you if you're not prepared. There are 3 dragons in the Seraphim/Dragon region alone and more scattered in other places. If you can't beat a particular dragon, come back later after you're stronger and better equipped. Both trophies do not have to be done in one playthrough, the game will track your progress across multiple playthroughs of the SAME character (i.e killing 1 dragon with 5 characters each will NOT unlock the trophy) so you can also start a new campaign for that character, teleport to a location near a boss (most commonly White Griffin) and kill it, save then start a new one again.

Miscellaneous Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/43.jpg Millionairehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero owning 1,000,000 gold.

You need to have 1 million gold on a single character at a single time. As you progress through the story on higher difficulties, items you find will start to increase tremendously in value. Sell anything that you don't need, particularly uncommon/rare equipment for a different class that you don't use. If you're using the Seraphim BFG build, it gets better because that build doesn't require any maintenance so you don't have to scour shops to buy the latest bested equipment just to keep yourself on par with the enemies, this will save you a lot of money. After unlocking the trophy the gold will come in handy for the Medicine Man trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/45.jpg Great Enhancerhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has forged something into an item for the first time.

To be able to use the forge, you must first complete Michael the Blacksmith's Apprentice's quest. He is located in the tavern in Sloeford town and will ask you to retrieve some stuff from a nearby cave. When you're done, go to the blacksmith's house just below the southern gate. First you'll need to have an unequipped weapon or piece or armor that has an empty slot and talk to the blacksmith. Select any available option to strengthen the item and trophy should unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/10.jpg Easy Riderhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Any Hero rides his special mount for the first time.

See the 'Lone Ranger' trophy below.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/46.jpg Lone Rangerhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero rode 200 miles on his special mount.

Each class will be able to obtain a unique mount by undertaking a sidequest and successfully completing it. All you need to do is ride 200 miles with the mount. If your health reaches 5% while riding this mount, it will die and you will have to purchase a new one from the seller on the Unique Mount island. There is no way to track how far you have ridden so you just have to keep going until the trophy unlocks.

Any Hero has consumed 1,000 healing potions.

You need to have a single character consume 1,000 healing potions. On later playthroughs and/or higher difficulties, always bring along the maximum number of healing potions if you have enough money (certainly if you have already achieved the Millionaire trophy) and use them at every opportunity. You can also play on a lower difficulty and have the weak mobs hit you, you can then spam the potion slot button.

Most shops have a limited supply of potions so if you've ran out of supply, you can create a new character, give him a good but unwanted piece of equipment to sell and use that money to buy potions then dump the potions in the storage chest in towns. This storage chest is shared between all your characters so you can use your main character to retrieve the potions that the new character bought and use them for yourself.

Any Hero wearing a complete armor set for the first time.

Along your travels you will come across certain unique items that belong to an armor set. Obtaining and equipping all items in that armor set, which varies from 2 to 8 items per set will unlock this trophy. Equipping items with "X% chance to find valuables", having the skill Enhanced Perception and exploring more of the map (+1% for every 4% of map revealed) will increase the odds of finding rare items including set items.

That said, it is still pretty hard to obtain all components of a set on your own so your best bet is to find someone that has the items you want and is willing to trade it away, search for someone via the Item Trading or Boosting thread.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/23.jpg Combologisthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has executed his first combo.

Press :r1: and select the Combat Arts menu. At the bottom of the menu you will see 4 symbols which are actually Combo Slots. Press :circle: on one of these and then select 2 or more Combat Arts that you wish to combine, then assign this combo (:triangle:) to one of your available face button slots. Press that button to use this combo and the trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/135/42.jpg Combat Art Experthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Any Hero has maximized a combat art modification.

Combat Arts are the equivalent of skills/spells in other games that can be used by your character. Each class has a unique set of Combat Arts and these can be found in the form of runes which are dropped by monsters after killing them, or as rewards after completing quests. Most of the time the runes that drop from monster aren't the ones that your character class can use so you can trade them away at a Runemaster for runes that actually apply to you.

Each class will have a total of 15 Combat Arts separated into 3 categories (or Aspects in game terms). Each individual Combat Art can be specialised/improved further by spending skill points (gained by levelling up) into an Aspect Lore or Focus skill. As you put more skill points into an Aspect Lore/Focus skill you acquire modification points that can be used to modify a Combat Art. Each Combat Art can be specialised/improved up to 3 times via a Tier system. Do so and the trophy will unlock.

You will find the first teleporter in Sloeford town, it looks like a stone arch with runes and swirling images in the middle. As with all teleporters, you need to first activate them with :l1: to make them available for use. Press :l1: to use it again to teleport yourself to Sloeford (yes you can teleport to where you were) and the trophy will unlock.

In a Multiplayer Game, go up to another player and press :l1: to trade, if he agrees to trade, select any item you or he wishes to offer and once both sides accepts the trade the trophy will unlock.

Nice guide, very detailed. My only feedback would be that the estimated time to platinum is grossly underestimated. The only way you would be able to finish this game in 50 hours is if you manage to boost directly to niob and skipping Gold and Platinum difficulties. To be on the safe side, I would suggest placing an estimated time to platinum of 50-80+ hours so people are aware that this game can take much longer if you don't manage to boost to Niob.

i read ur guied & it doesnt seem like a very hard plat but yet just a time consuming one. I'm thinking about getting this game but not sure yet. Anyways great job on the guied

I boosted Gold/Platinum/Niob difficulty so I don't know how hard they are in reality, I only know from what I've read that they can be quite challenging, and time consuming at the same time. I guess thats why the game is rated an 8/10.

it is a challenging plat, especially if you're not familiar with RPG games and the whole character building exercise (stat/skill/equipment optimisation etc..) players often struggle in RPGs in general when their character isn't developed appropriately... Sacred2 is no exception.

and even if you do familiarise yourself with Sacred2's character mechanisms, plat and niob difficulties are still VERY challenging. simply because the minimum mob levels scale up so much against your own character... that while you can blindly rush through bronze & silver at very low levels... you really do need to fight smart at higher difficulties.

of course, you can dedicate 100+hrs to purely grind levels (on top of 40+hrs to do other trophies), until the character's high enough to fist-fight against mobs in plat/niob... but that's not the game's intentions at all.

Technically speaking, you only have to Start the game on that difficulty to get the difficulty trophies. You don't even have to finish the game on that difficulty.

So if you find someone online within 10 levels of you, but can host a game on higher difficulties, get him to host, you join his game, and bang, trophies unlocked. Simple as that.

Thy for the guide. It was realy helpfull.

I had only problem with the Fashion Victim trophy cause i wanted to do it on my own :), and it is hard because based on luck.

I finished the game on gold (with BFG Seraphin, lvl63) and got all trophies except the Fashion Victim. I had a lot of set items but no full set. So I tryed to find a way to complete a set.

I used as many CFV(chance to find valuables) items as I can. After all i had 57,4% CFV (44,4% from items and 13% from the "explored map" (1%CFV/4% from explored map as I know).)

Here is what i did:

-start a new, free world game on a difficulty u finished: easy to kill the mobs and hopefully your portals are in work. I used gold difficulty.

-Portal to Sloeford and take "The Kobold Chieftain" quest.

-Finish the quest.. Go to the location, kill 40 kobolds, kill the boss. The boss has a great chance to dropp a set item. This is why we killed him.

-Go back to the quest giver and talk with him.

-Leave the game.

-Repeat while necessary.

I finished a set under the 2nd run. I know, this was a luck, too, but the method looks working. I think it is the fastest way to get set items on your own. One run takes only 6-8 minutes and you have a good chance to find a set part. I tryed other bosses, dragons, quests without success and it was really time consuming.

Test: I tested it 10 times on gold difficulty with my seraphim. Under the 10 run i got 8 different set parts (6 seraphim set part and 2 from other classes).

Hope it helps, good luck.

(sorry for bad english, i tryed my best :p )
