Jensen
Greetings People! When I started up "Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves" for the first time this day, I quickly noticed as stated in other threads, how troublesome the controls can be, if you're trying to play the game by yourself like I did. I did somehow manage to complete the game, but not all of the trophies. I kept failing when I tried to unlock the "Hotfoot It" trophy. Since I'm not much of a multitasker, I couldn't coordinate the "Move" controller and the "DualShock3" controller with both hands and at the same time navigating through the more difficult parts of the levels. I really needed some precision if I wanted to unlock the remaining trophies. Then I thought about combining the two controllers with a rubber band and rather quickly after that, I had unlocked my "Hotfoot It" trophy. The two combined controllers proved to be particularly useful, when more actions were required, for instance running, jumping and grabbing with Sackboy, while manipulating with the different "Move" objects. I have included some photos and apologize for the bad quality, but it's merely meant to clarify my idea. http://share.pslife.dk/file/zgjjn2i3mtzjmtjmztljnzdlztnhnjk1oduxngy4ymi.jpg http://share.pslife.dk/file/zjjizjnhnwe3mgfkotfkztcxztnjmwjhyjjhogy5oty.jpg http://share.pslife.dk/file/yzuwmgjmn2u3yzcwzdflyjfhywfloweyzwq1mtaxyty.jpg Remember to make use of the button on the "Move" controller, if you want to reset the pointer. ---------- [EDIT] Added more pictures of the controllers viewed from below. I hope it will help figuring out how the single rubber band is attached. http://share.pslife.dk/file/odbly2uzzjkwy2i0zmzkngq3odexztk4nza2ntjjoge.jpg http://share.pslife.dk/file/m2i0mdbmmti0ztexnmi5mduynzbmndu2mde3ytm3mwe.jpg http://share.pslife.dk/file/nzkzzdbhmjlizdrkmwe2ytqzn2flyze1njfimgewmdi.jpg Edited January 23, 2011 by Jensen More photos are added

JuggernautClone
I'm not sure I understand how to do this. How is the Move staying on the back of the controller? It looks like from the pics that it's not really attatched. Could you provide some photos of it from the side or the back perhaps?
flamingice
Thanks for this, its really helpful!
Jensen
I've edited the first post and included three more pictures. Once again I'm a little sorry for the bad image quality, but I hope it will help clarify how the rubber band is attached to the controllers. DPsx7
Lol, the stuff we create to avoid playing with others. I don't have anyone else offline so I had to do the same except I managed to hold the controller instead of needing a band. Great idea.
SIE
haha, that's very creative i'm gonna try it out right now. see what happens. edit: just tried a few levels, it's still challenging but it's much more easy to handle both at the same time now. i tried acing the boss level and it was very do able, the hiccups however is a nightmare but that was it aswell before the trick, just slightly easier Primordial Shoot is slightly easier but it wasn't so hard before if you knew when and where to shoot for those bigger multipliers. ezkimo00
I did the first level alone too. I just hold the move controller in my right hand and DS on my left hand. On my right hand instead of using Move-button i used the Trigger, so I used DS's X and Move's T with my right hand. It wasn't complicated at all.. bigdrama
Very nice. I ended up just going controller in each hand, but this may have helped with some of the more technical areas.
Satnamji
I recently got a Move and came to this area to see if anyone had managed to play this game solo. Awesome! Can't wait to finally try out Prehistoric Moves, which I've had since it released in Dec.
HaoleDave
I didn't see this thread before I played it solo. I just put both in my right hand, using the DS3 trigger with my middle finger and the Move with my index finger. But yeah it is totally doable as solo if you're good at it
gnat_
Genius. I was having so much trouble trying to get the trophies on this game by myself, and this helped tremendously. I used my left middle finger for the move trigger, and my right hand for R1 grabbing.
MMDE
I found it easy to just hold the move controller in my right hand while holding the DS controller in both hands :s Haven't been bothered to do it all yet, figured it would be even easier with someone controlling the move controller for me, which I think will happen today! phoenragon
I found it easy to just hold the move controller in my right hand while holding the DS controller in both hands I did the same thing ^_^ I actually got most of the score and Ace level trophies holding the controllers like that. I can't seem to pull off Hotfoot It (it's my last trophy!) so I'll definitely be trying this method! Thanks for posting Jensen!
