This guide was created in order to help players find all of the Gold Collectibles (abbreviated as "GC" in the text) and Upgrades in the game Rochard; it was created as a complement to the trophy guide for the game, which you can view by clicking here: Rochard Roadmap and Trophy Guide

1. Astrominer (30 total)

The Find (5)

1). Gold Collectible: after Skyler leaves at the start, you pass through a blue force field; in the next room the G.C. is on a platform above you; go right to where a crate is covering a ladder, place another crate on top of it, jump off the stack to the platform on your left.

2). Gold Collectible: after disposing of the faulty droid, head up to the previously locked blast door; go right past the ladder, drop down, move the crates to get it.

3). Gold Collectible: at the terminal to activate gravity control, Low-G jump up and to the right.

4). Gold Collectible: now Low-G jump to ladder off to your right; pull down the hatch on the "Z8" structure, jump over, climb ladder, go as far right as you can, drop down.

5). Gold Collectible: after fixing the two cargo lifts, ride the elevator up to the next floor; go right, and drag the cargo container above you as far right as possible; use the heavy crate to recoil jump to the cargo container, then use the heavy crate to recoil jump off the cargo container to the platform up and to your left.

The Attack (6)

1). Gold Collectible: in the very first room, where you lose communication with Skyler - go left and Low-G jump up to it.

2). Gold Collectible: enter a room with falling debris, cross a platform that sinks when you land on it, and land on a platform standing on end; drop down to the structure with the ladder; go down the ladder and right.

3). Upgrade (health): ride an elevator and jump up through a room with falling beams and a couple of droids, and you'll pass right by the health machine.

4). Gold Collectible: after encountering the first two enemies, you come to a room with several sinkable platforms above blue force field floors; on the force field furthest to the right you'll have to use several crates as stepping stones; at the end of the force field, shoot one of the crates onto the platform above you so that it drops; jump onto it, get rid of the crate, then Low-G jump up until the crate rises, then quickly Low-G jump to the area on your right above the door.

5). Gold Collectible: in the next room you'll drop down and face two enemies, then head right and come to a huge "pit" with three crates stacked in it: two heavy, one light; replace the light with a heavy one (to your left), jump onto the stack, and use the light crate to recoil jump up and to the right.

6). Gold Collectible: in the next room you'll ride an elevator, hear from Skyler (she'll be talking about how she can't get Xander free from the wreckage), and pass 3 droids; at the end of the elevator ride go down the ladder and right.

Calling Reinforcements (6)

1).Gold Collectible: you enter a multi-level room and talk to Skyler about the Wild Boys, then she tells you to get a Rock Blaster; make your way up to a red force field floor and a single enemy; above you is a hatch, and pulling it open will drop some crates; use a crate to recoil jump up through the hatch.

2). Gold Collectible: in the next room ride the elevator past a turret on your left; jump to the area above the turret, then use the crate there to to recoil jump up and to the right.

3). Upgrade (health): in the room where you get the Rock Blaster; jump up and to your right to a blast door; shoot the door open, and go into the room to find the health machine.

4). Gold Collectible: enter a room and have a conversation with Skyler about fixing the comm. array; head up to a gold force field with a turret behind it - notice the locked blast door above here; take out the turret and guards to the right; get the fuse that powers a red force field floor (which will drop two guards onto an electrified floor); take the fuse back through the gold force field and use it to open the blast door; jump up through the door and go as far right as you can.

5). Gold Collectible: enter a reverse gravity room and Rochard says "Damn, another negative pole coil"; see the G.C. above you against the left wall; make your way to the electrified floor above you and jump over it, arcing your jump to the left.

6). Gold Collectible: in the comm. array room; at the bottom right you can see the G.C., and below it a heavy crate; move the crate through the slot that is level with the elevator control; now grab the small crate and place it under the small hole revealed by moving the heavy crate; stand on the crate and jump up through the hole; use the heavy crate to jump up into another small hole above you.

Rendezvous (6)

1). Gold Collectible: after the cut scene with Maximillian make your way up and to the left; jump to an area right, and you'll head up some stairs and see a large platform above you with a crate in the middle of it; pull down the crate and use it to recoil jump up there; there's a broken stairway with a crate at the top left, and a droid attacks you from the right; use the crate to recoil jump up and to the right.

2). Gold Collectible: Rochard tells Skyler he's going to go through the "rock crusher", and then takes an elevator down; half way down there's an opening on the right - ignore it; continue down, take out the enemies on the left, then drop beneath the elevator, move the crates on the right, go through the opening, and jump up several times.

3). Gold Collectible: next room - see it right below you, but you can't get to it yet; take out the enemies and head down on the elevator; you'll come to more enemies and a laser; pass under the laser using a heavy crate as a shield, then manipulate it towards the left with your G-Beam and quickly jump up and to the right; a couple of Low-G jumps gets you to the G.C. - watch out for the turret.

4). Upgrade (Rock Blaster heat sink): continuing on, take out the enemies you encounter, ride an elevator down, then a ladder down, and you'll come right to it.

5). Gold Collectible: the next area is a conveyor belt; get across the first one and hit a checkpoint; you now have to find a fuse to get the second belt going - go down the ladder, take out the enemies and head right to find the fuse next to a ladder; go up the ladder for the G.C.

6). Gold Collectible: you'll arrive in a room with three heavy crates right in the middle and two turrets up high on the left and right; take out the turrets, stack the crates two high, and use the third crate to recoil jump up and to the right.

The Temple (7)

1). Upgrade (health): at the start, the health machine is right in front of you.

2). Gold Collectible: right after the upgrade you ride a conveyor belt up; Low-G jump to a platform high and to the left.

3). Gold Collectible: after the conveyor belt you come to a room with two metal hatches, one up and one right below it; open the high one; now stand to the right of the low one; open it in Low-G; let go of the G-Beam but stay in Low-G; jump, and just when you're level with the top of the hatch, let go of Low-G to just momentarily touch the top of the hatch, then do a quick Low-G jump off the top of the hatch to propel yourself through the higher one.

4). Gold Collectible: next area with electrified floor - use crates and platforms to cross it; on the last platform you can see the G.C. on a girder to your right - Low-G jump over to it.

5). Gold Collectible: after meeting with Skyler, you'll move to a reverse gravity area; go all the way to the right; see a container, a hatch, and the G.C. below you; stand right next to the wall on the right and jump down into the container, arcing your jump to the left so that you pass through the container's opening and come out the other side; open the hatch and jump down.

6). Upgrade (Rock Blaster power level): next area; go past the elevator and all the way left, taking out the guards and turrets; drop down to a guard and turret and see the upgrade there.

7). Gold Collectible: in the next room are two turrets, the exit up high and to the left, and an area up high and to the right with a blue force field - the G.C. is up there; use a light crate to recoil jump up to the area.

2. Zeronimo (15 total)

Arizona (7)

1). Gold Collectible: after activating gravity control, head back the way you came; in the very next hallway you'll be attacked; notice an opening in the ceiling above you; Low-G jump up there and pull a crate down; use the crate to recoil jump up and to the right; now use a crate to recoil jump up and to the left.

2). Gold Collectible: after using the "girly" sign to jump up, you'll pass an explosium machine and come to a single turret and a big drop; take out the turret and fall; to the left are several crates - move them to find the G.C.

3). Upgrade (health): after the first disco area you'll enter a long cavernous room; walk past the makeshift floor to the health machine.

4). Gold Collectible: to the right of the health machine is a stack of Skyrig crates; jump over them for the G.C. - watch out for the turret.

5). Upgrade (Explosium capacity): after dropping through the makeshift floor, go right past the malfunctioning elevator and through a door - you'll see the upgrade right there.

6). Gold Collectible: from the upgrade, head left to a makeshift floor with crates; beneath it is an electrified floor; destroy the floor and drop down onto the crates, open the hatch on the left and pull the fuse in order to get to the G.C.

7). Gold Collectible: the second disco: head right across to the middle level; take out an enemy here and another on a floating platform to your right; get onto the platform, then jump over to the left, hurdle the cactus in your way and continue left.

Two Brothers (2)

1). Upgrade (health): progress through the next section and you'll come to an electrified floor and 2 makeshift floors above you; use the two turrets to your right to destroy the makeshift floors and crates will fall down allowing you to cross the electrified floor; now you'll come to a huge green pipe; stack two crates on top of each other on the join of the pipe; get another crate; jump on the stack, and use the third crate to recoil jump up and to the left in order to get to the health machine.

2). Gold Collectible: from the health machine, recoil jump up and to the right.

Secret Exit (6)

1). Gold Collectible: right after the cut scene with Uncle Floyd do not go down the hatch; jump over it to the right.

2). Upgrade (Rock Blaster power level): next area - drop through the makeshift floor; take out the guards and turrets; get up on the green platform and use a heavy crate to recoil jump up and to the left.

3). Gold Collectible: after escaping the infinite spawn room you'll ride the elevator and come to a reverse gravity room, and you see the G.C. above you behind a red force field; head right to reverse gravity at the terminal, drop down, and pull the fuse to your left; reverse gravity again to access the G.C.

4). Gold Collectible: in the same room, further right, there is a makeshift floor in the ceiling; destroy the floor and reverse gravity in order to get the crates to fall; move the crates so that they won't "fall" back up; reverse gravity again to access the G.C. in the makeshift floor area.

5). Upgrade (Rock Blaster heat sink): floating up by the ceiling in the same room as 4 and 5.

6). Gold Collectible: in the next room, drop down to the floor and head all the way right to get it.

3. Skyrig (27 total)

A Huge Fan (6)

1). Gold Collectible: activate gravity control and head into the vent on the right; ride the fan and head left.

2). Gold Collectible: acquire the G-Swing; while swinging up, make your way to the highest, left-most swing crate and spin yourself in a circle in order to build up momentum, then let yourself swing up to the ceiling on the left.

3). Gold Collectible: after an elevator ride you come to a room with a blue laser on the left and and fans on the ceiling to the right; climb the ladder on the right, then jump over some crates on the right for the GC.

4). Upgrade (Explosium capacity): make your way past the laser using a heavy crate as a shield, then climb the ladder for the upgrade.

5). Gold Collectible: after riding up through a long, shaftlike room using G-Swing, you'll go right until you come to a couple of crates on up and down sliders; step on the first one to lower it, then lower the next one with your G-Beam and jump up on it.

6). Gold Collectible: you'll have to ride a huge crate on sliders up through a room; at the top you'll have to jump onto the roof of a locked blast door and pass over a red force field floor with crates rising up through it; continue left to come to three heavy crates; move the crates and continue left and you will arrive on a walkway you saw previously in the long, shaftlike room; continue left for the GC.

Middle Management(7)

1). Gold Collectible: Skyler tells you that there seems like a lot of security ahead of you - go left and jump across an electrified floor.

2). Gold Collectible: you come to the first room with cameras; go down the ladder and put the fuse in "E"; go through the door and bring back two heavy crates - stack them on top of each other right next to the ladder; open the hatch above you; put the fuse in "D"; get on the stacked crates, Low-G jump up through the hatch and land right on the top of the hatch, then another quick jump off the hatch up and to the right.

3).Gold Collectible: you kill several skypolice on platforms and ride an elevator up which triggers an alarm; you have to fight several droids and G-Swing your way to a vent on the left; in the vent be very careful: holding down Low-G, edge your way out until your head is clear of the ceiling, then Low-G jump up for the GC; if you miss it and fall you'll trigger a checkpoint, meaning you'll have to replay the level later to get it.

4). Upgrade (health): pass through a room where you manipulate two lasers and you come to a room where you ride a platform up a long shaft and must deal with several turrets; on the right is the door you'll continue through, in the middle a structure, and another door on the left - jump onto the structure, then Low-G jump to the left door.

5).Gold Collectible: next is a room with two white force field walls, a laser, and a GC right beneath you; ride the elevator down and crouch next to the crate; when you get to the bottom, use the laser control to send the laser back to the top; quickly get to the elevator and ride it back up, again crouching next to the crate; after the laser passes, jump over to the GC and land on the laser module.

6). Upgrade (Rock Blaster power level): in the same room as #5 - at the bottom and to the left of the elevator.

7). Gold Collectible: another room where you kill several skypolice on floating platforms; you'll have to ride one of the platforms up to a hatch and jump into the vents; you can go left or right - go right as far as you can, and when you hit a dead end jump up.

Maximillian's Office (7)

1). Upgrade (Rock Blaster heat sink): you enter a room where you'll see a shield guard for the first time (above you); simply go right at floor level for the upgrade.

2). Gold Collectible: in the same room there is an area accessible by two hatches on the upper floor; when you're up in the hatch area it seems like there's nothing there, but if you bring a crate up there with you, you can recoil jump up and to the right in order to find the GC.

3). Gold Collectible: pass through a room where you manipulate 3 lasers and enter the vent on the right; halfway along the vent there is an opening above you - jump up.

4).Gold Collectible: enter the next room by dropping through a vent and head left to an elevator; take the elevator down; the GC is to your left, high above the next elevator; stack two crates on the elevator and use another crate to recoil jump up high.

5). Upgrade (health): in the next room you ride a conveyor belt up to a health machine blocked by a force field; you need to attach a sticky charge to a crate and detonate it when it gets near the fuse below you in order to disable the force field.

6).Gold Collectible: next room, you drop down an elevator shaft, call an elevator, and Skyler tells you that you've set off a silent alarm; ride the elevator up and you'll see the GC above you - it's easily reached by a couple of jumps.

7). Gold Collectible: now ride the elevator below you to your left; when it stops, you can see the GC right above you; grab one of the turrets to your right and use it to recoil jump up to it - be quick before the turret explodes.

Escape (7)

1). Gold Collectible: you'll enter a room where you ride an elevator down and then have to move a container on slides close to an electrified floor in order to pull a fuse with the G-Beam; the GC is right below the fuse, and pulling the fuse drops another container which now allows you to access the area when you go back up.

2). Gold Collectible: make your way to a room with 3 lasers and 4 large containers; the GC is visible in the middle of the second laser; block the first laser by lowering a container (simply jump onto it); then lower another container, jump over to the GC and...die - there doesn't seem to be any way to get this collectible without dying right afterwards.

3). Upgrade (Explosium capacity): the elevator you're riding falls; when you hit bottom go left.

4). Gold Collectible: you pass through a room where you have to get a fuse by manipulating gravity - make sure the reverse gravity is activated when you leave; in the next room, make your way past a few turrets and jump down to where the gravity control terminal is - you can see the GC to your right, and it's easy to jump over to it.

5). Gold Collectible: the next room has an electric field blocking a ladder, and you need to manipulate the huge fan to your right to such an angle that you can fire an explosive into its current and have it get to the fuse, which will disable the electricity; take the ladder down, and you'll need to manipulate another huge fan to knock a heavy crate down to you, then use that crate to recoil jump up to the fan, then ride its current up to the first fan - make sure to grab a second heavy crate on your way to the first fan; fire the crate onto the platform to your right, then float over there yourself; use the crate to recoil jump up and to the left - the GC is up high near the ceiling.

6). Upgrade (Rock Blaster power level): see #7.

7). Gold Collectible: this is the hangar area where you need to survive long enough for Skyler to rescue you, and in order to do that you'll need to kill all of the enemies that come for you; first, shoot the rear part of both lasers in order to tilt them up - doing this will kill all the droids and enemies on descending elevators; now get the heavy crate up high on the right side of the room and carry it back to the left side, and drop it below the wall with the opening above you (do not drop it on the red force field floor or you'll lose it); now grab the heavy crate above you to the left and place it on top of the other crate - this serves as a barrier that will prevent human enemies from easily getting to you; you can easily kill any enemy that gets over the crates, and falling droids will either land on human enemies or their explosions will kill them; once all the humans are dead, only occasional droids will spawn from up high; lower the left laser so that it's blocked by the wall; now fire a crate up to the platform above you and jump up there yourself - this will get you the upgrade in the room (#6); use the crate to recoil jump onto the wall that is blocking the laser; from there, Low-G jump over to the collectible and land on the laser module; from there, it's easy to Low-G jump back to safety.

4. Back to the Temple (14 total)

Aligning Stars (7)

1). Gold Collectible: you'll take an elevator down and have to fight a couple of droids and turrets; jump left over the gap with the elevator and go through the door.

2). Gold Collectible: progress to a room where you're instantly confronted with a droid and turret, then have to jump over some structures and deal with about four more turrets; the GC is up high against the far right wall - you can Low-G jump to it or grab a turret and use it to recoil jump to it.

3). Upgrade (Rock Blaster heat sink): right after #2, you'll come to a room with turrets and droids and see the upgrade floating within easy reach.

4). Gold Collectible: the next part is tricky: you'll go through a hatch on the floor and immediately fall through a second hatch - notice the GC to your left as you fall through the second one; if you're prepared, you can Low-G drop through the first hatch and try to float over to the left, or you can use a crate on the bottom floor to recoil jump up through the second hatch and then try to get your way over to the collectible - the first hatch hangs down and blocks your way, so you'll have to monkey around with your G-Beam in Low-G in order to get across.

5). Gold Collectible: the next area is a straight drop with rooms and small ledges on either side, and several droids and turrets to deal with; edge over the sides in Low-G in order to float into the rooms; this GC is found in the first room on the left that you can drop down to.

6). Gold Collectible: same area as #5; the next room down on the left;

7). Upgrade (health): the same area as #s 5 and 6; the floor-level room on the right has this health machine.

Skypolice Returns (4)

1). Gold Collectible: you'll pass over a conveyor belt with giant crates and arrive at an area with two crates, a half-open door, and two skypolice down below - make sure to shoot one of the crates over to the area to your right through the half-open door before heading down, otherwise you'll trigger a checkpoint and a cop on an elevator will come down and block the door; once you take out the skypolice and climb the ladder, use the crate to recoil jump up to the platform above you and to the left.

2). Upgrade (Explosium capacity): from #1, recoil jump up through the hatch above you.

3). Gold Collectible: you'll enter a room with one enemy on the ground below you, and one enemy on a stack of crates; take them out, jump onto the stacks and notice a platform above you; continue right, and use a crate to recoil jump up to the platform.

4). Gold Collectible: the next room has a conveyor belt going down with massive crates; take the ladder down, then head right across the red force field floor to the stack of crates against the right wall; move the crates to find the GC beneath them.

Switchblade (3)

1). Gold Collectible: you have to ride a conveyor belt with huge containers up, taking out enemies and pulling fuses to disable force fields as you go; eventually you'll come to a room on the left with a turret above the door, two guards, a fuse, and this GC.

2). Upgrade (health): simply continue through this level and you'll pass right by this health machine.

3). Gold Collectible: you'll have to ride across a huge crate, avoiding several droids and a small electrified floor as you go; then you'll have to G-Swing across a very long electrified floor; in the next room the GC is a bit low on the left side against the wall; simply wait for the crate to go up past you, then jump over to it.

5. Old Mines (6 total)

Helga (6)

1). Upgrade (health): after the long elevator ride, head as far right as you can to the green door and jump to the roof above it to find the health machine.

2). Gold Collectible: you make your way to a room where you have to ascend on the left side amidst several guards; on the right side is a kind of shaft with a huge container on up and down sliders; get onto the container and use an anti-gravity charge to make the container go up.

3). Gold Collectible: in the same room as #2; when you get to the G-Swing crates, go right to find another container on sliders; jump onto it and use an anti-gravity to charge to make it go up - watch out for the enemies up here: a turret and a shield guard with a rocket launcher.

4). Gold Collectible: the next room has a makeshift floor and beneath it another container that you can send up with anti-gravity; go into the left room with two enemies to find the GC.

5). Gold Collectible: progress until you come to a room with a turret and several enemies high and low; you'll climb some stacks and see G-Swing crates above you; swing up high and to the left in order to get on top of a structure where you will find the GC to your left.

6). Gold Collectible: in the same room as #5; continue to swing along the G-Swing crates to the right; you'll face some enemies and eventually come to a high platform with an enemy and a GC - continue right to the final G-Swing crate to get up to the platform (which is now slightly to your left).

Thanks m8 i've been waiting foe this guide for quite sometime now Thanks a lot !!

Thanks for the fantastic guide. There were a few of those trophy collectibles that I missed on my first playthrough and am not sure if I would have been able to find them without the guide. Nice work!

No problem - I'm glad the guide was useful:).

Thanks to your guide I got rid of the collectibles on my 1st run so now only the Speed run is left for a second run. It is so wrong that a small game has nearly 100 collectibles, its like the developers wanted to add so much to give the illusion of a bigger game, but got it for free so in any case it was ok.
