Resident Evil 6 FAQ

Introduction:

The anticipated new chapter to the Resident Evil franchise has arrived! Sporting four complete stories in total, a new item management system, a massive story and many extras, this game really gives the player their money’s worth and holds countless hours of replay value. Many fans will be pleased to know that the three main stories give the player a selection of genres; Leon’s focuses on horror and scares, Chris’s focuses on an action style and Jake’s features both genres in one.

The trophies are pretty generic and much like Resident Evil 5’s however there are a few exceptions. Each story is relatively long if you take your time (like most should on their first playthrough) but it may feel longer than it really is because, if following the guide’s recommendations, you will have to play through all campaigns twice, unless you decide to go overkill and clear Professional on your first go.

Before asking any questions, please see the Resident Evil 6 FAQ that we have provided. Chances are, your question will be answered there!

Before you start - Issues with Multiplayer:

If you're like us, you'll want to play some of the game in multiplayer. The current issue with this is that if you join a friend's game through an invite, then you will join the game in the last difficulty you were playing on, as opposed to the difficulty the host has chosen. So for instance, if the host created a game on Professional and invited, then you joined after playing a game on Normal, you would join the game on Normal instead of Professional. To avoid this, there are two solutions:

Change your difficulty beforehand
- The easier solution, simply start a solo game before joining your friend, and set that game to
the same difficulty as your friend's game
. So once again, if your friend is hosting a game on Professional, start a solo game on Professional first.

Join them through custom search
- Alternatively, you can join them by searching for them normally. For this, you'll only have 60 seconds before your friend's game start, even less if someone joins that game before you. To maximise your chances of joining, have the exact same settings and tell each other when you're ready to join. If you manage to connect to each other this way, then your difficulty will automatically be adjusted.

Another issue is that if you join a game in progress, you won't receive credit at the end of the chapter. In order to receive credit, you
must
start from the lobby and complete the entire chapter.

See the Leave it to the Pro trophy for more details.

I - Clear all campaigns on any difficulty

Focus on clearing each scenario. Feel free to choose any difficulty, but it is recommended you leave Professional for a separate playthrough, as completing it all in a single playthrough will just make things unnecessarily harder for yourself. Amateur isn't advised, as all QTEs are automatic on this difficulty, so it will not prepare you for the QTEs in Professional. It does not matter which story you play first; however I’d recommend Leon’s as it is the least-action orientated of the three, however if you wish to play another purely for entertainment purposes feel free to do so.

You should also unlock a considerable amount of miscellaneous trophies along the way in this playthrough; otherwise, pick them up next time round.

I would recommend following our guide and collecting all the Serpent emblems in this playthrough. Otherwise you’re adding an extra playthrough again when you can just clear it out now.

II - Ada’s Story

As of Patch 1.03, Ada's scenario is unlocked from the beginning. Therefore, with the patch installed, you do not need to complete Leon's, Chris' and Jake's scenario first.

After finishing up the three main stories, you will unlock the secret story about Ada. This is just as long as the rest but make sure to complete all the chapters on any difficulty. Make sure also to collect all the Serpent Emblems in this scenario too so that Heirlooms will unlock upon finishing this up.

III - Professional mode run

As of Patch 1.04, you can select which Checkpoint to begin a Chapter from. Selecting the final Checkpoint for a Chapter will register as completing the rest of the Chapter, therefore you can complete only the final Checkpoint for every Chapter and you will get any trophies for finishing the game. This is only recommended if you are really struggling, as doing this will result in you having to farm a lot more Skill Points later on.

It’s time we replay all four stories on Professional difficulty. This may prove a tough challenge offline regardless that the A.I has improved very much so since this game’s predecessor so boosting is always available, and is highly recommended (check the ‘Chapter 5’ trophies for all stories for details on boosting). In this run focus solely on reaching the end of the chapter; the enemies hit hard and you will get frustrated in parts. Once you finish all stories again on this difficulty, the final difficulty-related trophy will unlock:

(G)

Leave it to the Pro

IV - Clean Up

Now that all the tough trophies are out of the way, it’s time to clean up on what’s left, which shouldn’t be much at this point considering most of the miscellaneous trophies will unlock during your first two runs. Otherwise, in this section, pick up the final trophies and grind out Skill Points for Mad Skillz.

Complete Chapter 1 in Leon's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 1 of Leon’s story.

Forced Encounter tactic in spoiler:
Encounter: Gun Shop - When you enter the Gun Shop, you'll have to fend off waves of zombies. Use your basic means for this fight, and do note there is a First Aid Spray nearby.

When you face the Whopper on the second floor, make sure to keep on your toes and aim for the head. On Professional mode, due to the extremely tight spaces, this fight could prove quite troublesome. But with the co-operation of the other survivors he drops relatively quickly.

Complete Chapter 2 in Leon's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 2 of Leon’s story.

"I Prefer Them Alive" is earned during this chapter, please see the trophy for more details.

Puzzle solutions and boss tactic in spoiler:
Puzzle 1: Shooting Statues - In the room with multiple statues shooting arrows at you, simply dash (holding the :cross: button), rush up to each statue and press the button. When switching them off, you’re invincible for the few seconds from other arrows, so don’t worry.

Puzzle 2: Mirror Room - Immediately after the statue puzzles, you will have to get through a few rooms with mirrors. All you have to do is light up the mirrors by having both players aim at the mirrors with their gun sights.

Puzzle 3: 5 Bells - Shoot all three obvious bells on each side, and past the final tower on each side are two slender pillars with cockerel signs on top; hanging from these are two very small bells. Shoot them to get the final bells. Pick up the Madonna statues and proceed back to the main church hall.

Puzzle 4: 3-Digit Door Passwords - Once you enter the laboratory, you'll have to open doors to advance by inputting codes into three panels. You can open the containment rooms if you want, but they're largely unnecessary, save for one. The main door codes required to continue are as follows:

  • Panel 1: '210'
  • Panel 2: '021'
    • Although not necessary, the two codes '012' and '120' will give you access to a hidden room, which contains a large skill point pick up, a green herb, and a first aid spray.

    [*]Panel 3: '201'

Boss: Lepotitsa - This fight isn’t necessarily hard; just frustrating if you are unsure what to do. The Lepotitsa can emanate a horrible blue-purple gas which can be deadly on higher difficulties and damages your health considerably. Make sure to keep away when he spews out this gas. Unfortunately, you’re not benefiting completely - this gas turns other frantic survivors in the church into average zombies. They die like any zombie just as normal; however they can be annoying when the Lepotitsa is running around the place like a headless chicken.

Following it is the only solution. Shotguns work particularly well against this monster; however if you’re on a New Game Plus save, you’ll be able to use your Lightning Hawk, assuming you're playing the same character as your first playthrough. Remember to keep back if it starts sending out gas! After enough shells to the face, it’ll fall and die.

Complete Chapter 3 in Leon's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 3 of Leon’s story.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Brzak: Brzak is the large shark B.O.W you encounter several times throughout the chapter. The first two encounters are only brief, with the first encounter seperating the players, and the second encounter forcing Helena to protect Leon from Brzak as he swims to land.

The third encounter is the boss battle, but it is just a big QTE fest, so it doesn't take much. Complete all the QTEs as prompted and you'll both end up on your backs, sliding down the tunnel with Brzak chasing you. In order to defeat it now, you simply have to shoot an explosive barrel when it is near Brzak, which is made easy by the fact that the game goes into slow motion when the explosive barrel appears on screen.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/1CD.jpg Big Trouble in China (B)

Complete Chapter 4 in Leon's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 4 of Leon’s story.

Boss tactics in spoiler:
Boss 1: Lepotitsa: When you head up to the cockpit of the plane, you'll encounter Lepotitsa, the B.O.W you encountered in the the cathedral in Chapter 2. The area is small, but he doesn't take much to go down here. Use heavy weaponry, and after a few shots, he should drop to his knees. This is a perfect opportunity to move in for a coup de grâce, which will cause him to escape.

After the first encounter, head to the back of the aeroplane and you'll encounter him again. This time, quickly open the panel to your right with :square: and pull the lever to send Lepotitsa flying out the back. Immediately after, you'll have a few QTEs in order to close the door. If you're doing this in co-op then it's recommended one player distracts Lepotitsa while the other opens the panel and pulls the lever.

Boss 2: Ustanak: This is a cross-over boss battle with Jake and Sherry. When the battle starts, climb atop the two shipping containers to your left, then push the crates of explosive cylinders off the containers. Then, lure Ustanak towards the cylinders and shoot them to engulf him in flames. After doing this a few times, Ustanak will run away for a bit.

Now, Leon and Sherry are seperated from Jake and Helena when Ustanak re-emerges, and in order to get back to the fight, they must reboot a bus using QTEs. Once all four players are together again, you'll have access to the whole battlefield. Like earlier, climb atop the containers and use the cylinders to engulf Ustanak in flames until the battle is over. If need be, there is a red crate that requires 4 players to push near the two gates, which grants access to a few wooden boxes and a briefcase with Remote Explosives and a First Aid Spray.

Boss 3: Derek Simmons: When you encounter Simmons, you'll have a few stages to beat. There is nothing special to this, simply shoot at a distance - don't get close or he'll knock you off. At the final section, when Simmons is running towards the train, just shoot him a few times to end it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/7E3.jpg The Trouble with Women (B)

Complete Chapter 5 in Leon's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 5 of Leon’s story.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss 1: Derek Simmons, Dinosaur form: After crashing the helicopter, you'll encounter the first boss fight. This fight can be quite deadly if you aren’t careful, as Simmons has many dangerous moves in this form. It can throw the vehicles scattered around the room, can charge at the characters and almost kill them in one attack. Regardless, the enemy’s weak points is the eye on its back and in its mouth.

Eventually the dinosaur will shrink down to human form. When this happens, run up to Simmons and initiate a melee QTE. Wiggle the left analog stick rapidly to complete it successfully. Repeating this about four to five times will suffice for this section of the fight.

Boss 2: Derek Simmons, Dog form: After climbing the rope section, Leon will join Ada in a fight against Simmons. This is basically the same as the boss battle in Chapter 4, so emulate that. If playing as Helena, you can help by sniping from a distance.

When up to the roof, a mini-fight with another mutated Simmons form will occur. Use the corner as cover and hop out every so often to hit him with some of your firearms. In comparison to the last few sections, this fight ends rather quick.

Boss 3: Derek Simmons, Beetle form: This fight may seem confusing at first if you’re oblivious of what to do. However, it’s rather simple once you know the process. You’ll see a lightning rod on the fighting field. Pick it up and stab it into one of the zombies wandering around the plain. After this, deal damage to Insect Simmons’ legs (the glowing areas on his legs are the weak spots).

When sufficient damage is dealt, Simmons will pick up a zombie in an attempt to regenerate health. 90% of the time, he’ll pick up the lightning-speared-zombie, however there is a chance he may not, in which case you must simply repeat the aforementioned process. If successful, however, you will deal immense damage to Simmons. Repeat until you can destroy his eyes, then allow him to pick up an impaled zombie to regenerate his eyes. This will end him.

Forced Encounter tactic in spoiler:
Encounter: Rooftop: Nothing much to this fight, even on Professional mode, however if you don’t have much ammunition left here (which shouldn’t be so at this point) then you’ll just have to melee it out until enough ammo drops. There’s a few red barrel explosives sitting around the area, use them as you see fit.

Complete Chapter 2 in Chris' campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 2 of Chris' story.

Boss tactics in spoiler:
Boss 1: Ogroman: You have two options during this fight:

A) Dawdle and waste five minutes or so just shooting at Ogroman every so often, dealing damage but not a lot

B) Go all out on the killing and get this over with quick

Personally, A is the better choice as you needn’t waste many bullets. However, if you choose B, shooting Ogroman’s parasite on his back, climbing the ladder to the higher floor to jump on his back and dealing the QTE damage is enough to end the battle in two minutes or so. In choosing A, simply shooting Ogroman whilst running around to waste time is enough to proceed in the game.

Do note that after the fight, the Assault Shotgun is available from the room across the bridge behind you.

Boss 2: Double Ogroman: The main focus here is to team up with Sherry, Jake and Finn and blow the three mounted guns as quickly as possible, whilst fending off incoming J’avo and the two Ogroman BOWs. The first mounted gun is rather simple as you have an area to use as cover and the J’avo only have one way to access you; through that cover spot.

The second mounted gun has a sniper on a wooden stand so take him out immediately. A short distance from the gun is a chute through which an infinite respawn of J’avo snipers appear. Take them out as they come.

The final mounted gun can be dealt with before Ogroman even reaches it if you’re quick, however he can be a pest if you’re not fast enough. If he reaches that enclosed space, quickly distract him and lure him out so Finn can get to work. Deal with the Ogroman afterwards as you did earlier.

Complete Chapter 3 in Chris' campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 3 of Chris' story.

Boss tactics in spoiler:
Boss 1: Iluzija: If you’ve played the original Resident Evil on PS1 and remember the Yawn snake fight, you’ll feel right at home here. Not only is its appearance similar, but as is its weak spot. Aiming at Iluzija mouth deals quite a bit of damage. Use your laser sight to spot him, and unload a weapon such as the Assault Shotgun on his mouth.

Follow it through the tight crawlspace, hitting the QTE as it approaches when necessary (do note that you require some ammo in any gun during this section). Fight it two more times in a similar manner as before, then either advance to the final section, or crawl through the crawlspace to get heaps of good items.

In the new room with loose wires and switches, you can finish off Iluzija once and for all. Man the switch on the opposite side of the room (avoid the snake at all costs!) and when the snake goes over the loose electricity wires, pull the switch and repeat a second time to take down the Yawn look-a-like.

Boss 2: Assault Helicopter: When in the Chinese restaurant in the lake with the chopper, take cover in the rooms and pick up all ammo (note that there’s two or three Green Herbs scattered around). This can be a tricky fight on Professional mode if you’re on a shortage of ammo. However, the battle is substantially easier since you can just hop out of cover every so often, drop a few hits and hide again. Using the Grenade Launcher, and aiming at the cockpit of the vehicle, the mysterious chopper drops pretty fast.

Puzzle solution in spoiler:
Puzzle: 3-Password Door: Near the end of the chapter, you'll need to collect 3 passwords in order to open a door. The first is directly in front of, near where the first Rasklapanje will appear. Fight it or run, your choice. Head through the kitchen, then through to the second password - here, Chris'll get pulled into a seperate room with a Rasklapanje and the password. Pick up the password and kill the Rasklapanje. Lastly, head out and down the stairs, then head into the cabin with the final password. Head back to the main door and you're out.

Complete Chapter 5 in Chris' campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 5 of Chris' story.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Haos: Of all boss fights, Haos is surprisingly yet disappointingly easy. Run through the escape sequence, then you'll encounter him again. In this first fight (when in the circular chamber), sticking to the outer rim of the arena and aiming at Haos’ head makes him drop quick. Not much else description is required.

After this, you'll have another chase scene, which will require you to shoot Haos' arm and slide under closing doors in order to survive. Continue until the next encounter.

In the next phase with a mutated Piers, both should focus fire on the red orbs on Haos. After a little while shooting these, the boss freezes up into a shell. At this point, both players should attack Haos and try to break the cocoon Haos wraps himself in. If successful, approach Haos again and initiate the QTE to deal further damage. Repeat this three teams, then a big QTE sequence will initiate, ending him again.

Lastly, run along the final corridor and complete the final escape sequence, along with the campaign.

Complete Chapter 1 in Jake's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 1 of Jake’s story.

Boss tactics in spoiler:
Boss 1: Warehouse Ustanak: Once you enter the dilapidated warehouse, you'll encounter your nemesis, Ustanak (there is also the Elephant Killer magnum in the warehouse, so collect this before engaging the two-player door at the back).

There is a set path in this area riddled with red barrel explosives which you can use to your benefit (or, alternatively, set up Remote Mines along this path), get there by using the stairs in the centre of the warehouse and following the linear path. Note that Ustanak follows you, so make it snappy. There’ll also be a constant supply of standard J’avo whom you can kill to get free ammo.

Boss 2: Double Ogroman: For this encounter, please refer to Chris' Chapter 2, "Tragedy in Europe" for how to beat the Ogroman.

Boss 3: Helicopter Ustanak: Ustanak will bust in the doors on certain parts of the helicopter sides. Because of this, you must keep on the move as he’s pretty quick when attacking. Using the Elephant Killer will make short work of him in this section, as will grenades. Afterwards, the BSAA soldier will then tell you to jump to the next helicopter.

Man the mounted gun and shoot at the helicopters flanking Ustanak so that they crash, then focus all fire on Ustanak and his helicopter. Use the QTEs when prompted to avoid being squashed by Ustanak’s weaponry, and destroy incoming missiles simply by shooting at them. After this, when falling, press one final QTE to grab the parachute and end the chapter.

Complete Chapter 2 in Jake's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 2 of Jake’s story.

Stealth tactic in spoiler:
Puzzle: Stealth Maze: This can be an exciting but frustrating section of the game if you’re not careful. Letting one of the Okos (sensor bats) know of your presence will result in Ustanak charging to your location, and unless you hide or run to safety (the latter being near impossible due to Ustanak’s speed) it’ll result in an instant death.

First, follow the linear path and stealth kill the first Oko (hide in the bin if need be). Do the same for the following and drop down to a new stage.

After dropping down the ledge, wait for the Oko to head to the corner and turn, then stealth kill it and the distant Oko. Notice that Ustanak is very near in this next area, so be prepared to run back to the bin in case you mess up.

Climb atop the ledge and grab the Skill Points, then drop down and push the box to move onto the final stage of the Stealth Maze.

One by one, kill the patrol Okos, remembering to hide in the bins if spotted. Once you make it through, open the door and continue.

When you return to the main hall which Ustanak patrols on the ice, start from the door which you're trying to open. This puzzle requires a bit of thought. Lead Sherry to the left and boost her up to a path which leads straight to the corpse and key card. Jake must head to the right and distract Ustanak by planting a Remote Bomb, detonating it (keep a fair distance first; or else you're leading Ustanak straight to you) and then having Sherry grab the keycard and run. All the while, make sure not to touch the glass shards scattered on the ground, as this alerts the Ustanak. Once you have the keycard, regroup and head to the door for a cutscene.

Complete Chapter 3 in Jake's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 3 of Jake’s story.

Puzzle solutions and forced encounter tactic in spoiler:
Puzzle: Code Readers - Jake: When playing as Jake at the beginning, take out the J’avo who attack with your melee skills and when you get to the turret guns, keep a watchful eye on Sherry and note what code she inputs to the door. Use this on the door nearby to reunite with her.

Puzzle: Code Readers - Sherry: If, alternatively, you’re playing as Sherry, you must get past the main hall (try your best to avoid the guards along the way) and when you come to the locker room, approach the locker directly opposite the code reader. Wait for a J’avo to pass by (it doesn’t take long) and note the code he inputs. When he passes through, quickly evacuate the locker and input the same code before another J’avo appears. After this, continue on to reunite with Jake.

Encounter: Tank: When the tank enters the room after collecting the ID Medallions, if playing as Jake, use the swing to the reach the same area, head to the area where Sherry is waiting and pull her up. If playing as Sherry, have Jake boost you up to the balcony and he will automatically take the swing route.

Once you head outside, head up the steps and press the button to lower the swing pole for Jake. If you're playing as Jake, jump across, then head behind the statue to lure the tank towards you to turn it. Repeat it two more times, then jump across the bar on the statue and grab the motorcycle.

Complete Chapter 4 in Jake's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 4 of Jake’s story.

"Hard Choice" is earned during this chapter, please see the trophy for more details.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss 1: Assault Helicopter: After the J’avo ambush, the helicopter will return in an attempt to kill Jake and Sherry. Now you can choose to either shoot down the helicopter using the explosive rounds for the Bear Commander that you receive, wait for Chris and Piers to destroy it, or if playing as Jake, you can get up close and personal.

For the former, use the Bear Commander to take out the grasshopper J'avo, then focus all your explosive power on the helicopter. Continue until it falls.

For the latter, climb the ladders and use the swingbar to get to the highest point, then wait there for the helicopter to drop a few J'avo off. When it does this, grab the rope with :cross:, then climb it all the way. Shoot the pilot to end the battle - doing so will earn you "Hard Choice".

Boss 2: Ubistvo: Of all the chainsaw enemies in recent Resident Evil games, Ubistvo is the worst. At random times he’ll just charge suddenly towards the player and can kill them in an instant. However, he drops pretty quickly as long as you use a steady mix of all your artillery. It is found that the sniper rifle is pretty effective for a quick defeat, so running back and forth between the areas and shooting two or three shots, then moving on again can end this fight in a minute or two.

Boss 3: Ustanak: This is a cross-over boss battle with Leon and Helena.

Boss 4: Ubistvo Returns: The Ubistvo fight will occur on the raft you’re using to escape, however the space is enclosed greatly. Using the strategy from earlier on (using a sniper rifle or even shotgun because of this fight being in close-quarters). Use the steering wheel for the raft as a way of separating you and the Ubistvo is he gets too close.

When you have to fight him on the burning platform with other J'avo, faster weaponry is recommended. If you have any explosives, then they will make quick work of Ubistvo and the other J'avo.

Soon enough, you must repeat this fight with Sherry alone, and Ada will drop by to lend a helping hand in saving Sherry.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Ustanak: Focus fire on Ustanak and avoid the magma below. A wrong move and Ustanak will crush you. Keep at a distance and fire away at him until he sends you to the ground.

Once on ground, his attacks will mostly be the same, but you'll have a lot more space. Keep your distance and fire away until he collapses, then move up close for a QTE. Ustanak will knock both players to seperate areas, where Jake will have to go hand-to-hand with the brute.

The pathways for this fight are very narrow, but it shouldn't be too difficult. If you're Jake, just spam your melee moves. Later on, when crawling up the elevator leading Jake and Sherry out of the arena, press the respective QTEs (however remember that Ustanak is on your trail so you must be fast) and finally, use the Magnum together with your partner to put an end to Ustanak, and finish the story.

Puzzle solution in spoiler:
Puzzle: Door Picture Puzzle - Firstly, check the door to initiate the puzzle. Touching the panel to its right will damage you and ultimately hurt your health, so don’t. Check the switch on the opposite side of the wall by the moose head to find that the solution to the puzzle is blocked. Go back to the moose head and press the button to fix this problem (its antlers were blocking your view).

The final image you need is different every time you play, so there is no definite answer. Whichever picture you see in the centre, replicate it on all the four boxes in the room (you can see the result in the panel by the door) and once it looks identical, press :cross: on the panel and the puzzle is completed.

Puzzle solutions and boss tactic in spoiler:
Puzzle 1: Noose Room - Walk over to the lever and push it to the right underneath the hanging corpse, then shoot the lock on the corpse to drop it onto the lever.

Puzzle 2: Short Circuit Room - Push the two chairs onto the shorted circuits, then when the enemy drops down, push him onto the third short circuit by attacking him near the circuit. Once he lands on it, he will create a closed circuit and the door will open.

Puzzle 3: Trap-door Floor - Use the Crossbow to impale the three zombies onto the wall, then jump into the room and open the chest. All three zombies must be impaled, otherwise the trap-door will activate when you jump in.

Boss: Mutated Deborah - For this boss, you'll want to shoot the orange parts of her three scorpion-like stingers, then run up close to perform a QTE whenever she collapses to the ground and a single stinger is exposed. When you encounter her in the moving cart, lay on your back (:l1:,, :cross:) so that she can't swing at you, then just shoot at her weakspots as usual.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Ubistvo - This boss is the chainsaw-wielding B.O.W you encounter several times throughout the level. During your first encounter, you'll be in an open area with lots of zombies, so it shouldn't be too hard to stay back. Use strong weaponry against him and try keep your distance, as this guy will one hit you if he gets close.

The second encounter will be a bit tighter, as it'll be atop a bus. Once again, stay as far back as possible and empty your Crossbow into him, and your Assault Shotgun when he gets a bit closer. When he gets too close, face the side of bus and you'll be indicated to press :cross:, which will grappleshot you to the other side of the bus. Rinse and repeat.

The final encounter is similar to the previous, but in a bigger area. Usual play here, big guns and keep your distance.

"Sneaking Around" is earned during this chapter, please see the trophy for more details.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Mutated Carla - Once you begin the area against the mutated Carla, you just have to run through the areas, as per usual. Carla Spores will spawn, which are B.O.W.s in the shape of Carla, which you can kill if you want, but it isn't necessary. Keep advancing through until you get past a running section and you'll encounter the boss battle against the massive Carla Spore, which is of her face.

Here, what you want to do is shoot both her eyes until they explode. They will regenerate after about 20 seconds, so I recommend shooting one then the other, going back and forth, so they both explode at about the same time. If need to be, you can shoot the red cysts on the walls for ammunition.

Once the eyes are destroyed, her regenerative effects are slowed considerably. Whip out either the Bear Commander or Assault Shotgun and start shooting her face to destroy it. Keep shooting until you make a large enough hole to see the nitrogen tanks behind her - shoot these to defeat her. Do note that if you take too long to break through her face and shoot the tanks, she will regenerate and you'll have to destroy the eyes again.

Complete Chapter 5 in Ada's campaign.

Story-related. Cannot be missed. This trophy unlocks upon completing Chapter 5 of Ada’s story.

Boss tactic in spoiler:
Boss: Derek Simmons - When you first encounter Simmons, you'll be in the helicopter with Leon and Helena on the ground. This is very easy, but takes a long time. Simply fly around, always moving backwards away from Simmons in case he jumps at you, constantly shooting at him. He has a weakspot on his back, which is a row of orange eyes, as well as the big eye in his mouth. Simply shoot these and the explosives surrounding the area until he falls.

For the second encounter, you'll be on foot and he will be in his dog form again. Shoot at his head from a distance, then move to the side and around him whenever he charges at you. The Crossbow and Assault Shotgun are your friend here, so go nuts. At the very end when Leon is hanging over the edge, just shoot him a few times to finish it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/92C.jpg Leave it to the Pro (G)

Complete the entire game on Professional.

For this trophy, you will have to complete all five chapters on each campaign on Professional difficulty. Professional is the hardest difficulty in the game and it is unlocked from the start of the game. You can do this on your first playthrough if you really want, but it is ill-advised, as not only would you make things harder for yourself, you'd also extend the skill points grind afterwards. Professional increases damage taken as well as reduces damage done to enemies, but overall it isn't too difficult. The biggest thing you need to be aware of is ammo conservation and herb conservation - if you waste ammo and herbs, you're going to have a bad time.

As mentioned in the roadmap, if you intend to do this with a friend, then you will have to use a certain work-around in order for both players to be credited for Professional. The below video, courtesy of Harry94, demonstrates this work-around.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjwUVLkieoY]Resident Evil 6 - How to play Professional in co-op (Both get Credit) - YouTube[/ame]

Below, we have outlined a few basic, yet helpful tips and strategies for completing Professional:

Ammo Conservation:
This is something you’ll need to adjust to. If you find yourself with an abundance of ammo for a specific gun, conserve it and do not find that as an excuse to use it too frequently. Professional mode is all about rationing your use of ammo. When fighting zombies, use a steady mix of hand-to-hand combat and firearms. You need to keep your well-earned ammo for upcoming boss fights.

Herb Conservation:
Only use herbs in dire straits. Personally, it’s useful if you keep at least one First Aid Spray and/or a Red + Green Herb powder, whilst only using single Green Herbs if you need a small top-up. Entering a boss fight with half health and no Herbs is a very bad idea, and unlike older Resident Evils, you cannot purchase any form of recovery items so rationing in this area is key too. Below are all the options available when using recovery items, and how much they recover:

1 Green Herb = 1 health block

1 Red Herb = Ineffective

2 Green Herbs = 3 health blocks

Double Green Herb mix + 1 Green Herb = 6 health blocks

Green Herb + Red Herb = 6 health blocks

First Aid Spray = 6 health blocks

Enemy weak spots:
Generally, every enemy has at least one weak spot. For regular zombies, however, the head is the best area. Even on Professional mode, within two to three direct shots you can defeat an enemy, or at least follow up with a strong melee move. Check out a boss’s respective chapter to find comprehensive strategies.

Get a good set of skills:
You'll want to get yourself a good set of skills to help you survive. Through trial, we have found the best standard set-up to be Firearm Lv. 3, Melee Lv. 3 and Defense Lv. 3. If you want, you can easily replace one with an Infinite Ammo skill.

Utilise hand-to-hand combat!:
This is one of the most important points! Instead of just shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot once and follow up with a combat move. If an enemy falls to the floor, run near their head and use a stomp move, which, 90% of the time, instantly kills the enemy. Like mentioned in an earlier point, a steady mix of hand-to-hand combat and gunplay works well.

Not every zombies needs to die:
Upon entering an area, don’t instantly think that every single zombie must die. You can skip a few, too. This conserves ammo and Herbs and is generally more beneficial, as in Professional mode your main focus is to finish the chapter whatever way possible.

Infinite Ammo:
If you're having difficulty and have completed the whole game once, you may want to consider purchasing Infinite Ammo for a weapon type. These range from 79,000 - 99,000 skill points, but can be very beneficial if you're struggling. However this will make grinding for
"Mad Skillz"
take longer.

Co-op or Solo:
Generally speaking, playing in co-op will make things easier for yourself, assuming you have a half-competent partner. However, there is a bonus to playing in solo - your partner is invincible. Because of this, in some cases you can simply let your partner handle the situation.

This is only recommended if you are really struggling, as doing this will result in you having to farm a lot more Skill Points later on.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/13C.jpg Silent Killer (B)

Use a stealth attack to take down five enemies.

In order to perform a stealth attack, you must move behind an enemy who is unaware of your prescence, then press :r1: when indicated. There are many locations throughout the campaigns for this to be earned naturally, however if you care to get it out of the way quickly, then please see "Give a Little Push" for a video demonstrating a good location.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/8F5.jpg Finish What You Start (B)

Perform a coup de grâce on ten enemies.

In order to perform a coup de grâce, you must first knock an enemy onto their knees by shooting their legs, then move close to them and press :r1: when indicated. Your character will perform a unique melee move different to standard context attacks. Do note that this trophy requires you to kill 10 enemies with coups de grâce, so if you perform one without it killing the enemy, it will not count towards the trophy.

A good location to farm this is against the Lepotitsa in Chapter 4 - Leon's Campaign. Below is a video demonstrating this, courtesy of PowerPyx.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWV4j5LL4UE]Resident Evil 6 - Finish What You Start Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/552.jpg Bob and Weave (B)

Counter an enemy's attack three times in row.

In order to perform a counter attack, you must press :r1: the moment before an attack strikes you, as indicated by the QTE. Your timing must be perfect for it to count, so this may take some practice. The three counters carry across checkpoint restarts, so you can counter an enemy at the start of a checkpoint, then reload the checkpoint and repeat it two more times. Do note that you have to kill the enemy for it count, countering an attack but not killing the enemy will not count - therefore, equipping Melee Lv. 1, Lv.2 or Lv. 3 will help with this.

A good location for this is near the start of Chapter 3 - Ada's Campaign. You'll encounter two sword-wielding J'avo, who are alone and can easily be countered. Counter them, then restart the checkpoint. Return to this area and counter for a third one. This is also convenient as your partner won't kill the enemies before you get a chance to counter, as you don't have one. Credit to yazter for this strategy.

Another good location to attempt this is at the start of Chapter 2 - Leon's Campaign. Perform it on the handful of zombies you find in the cemetary, and if you run out of zombies before unlocking the trophy, simply restart the checkpoint. It can be a bit hard to perform this on leaping zombies, so you can make it easier for yourself and just do it against the shovel-wielding zombies.

Below is a video demonstrating this method, courtesy of PowerPyx.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J68ksdpFchg]Resident Evil 6 - Bob and Weave Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/1EB.jpg Down, Not Out (B)

Defeat an enemy while dying, then recover without any help.

When your health reaches zero, you will fall to the ground and be forced to either wait for your partner to revive you, or recover without any help. In order to do the latter, you must survive without being attacked for about 15 seconds. If attempted in a Solo game, then it is recommended you use the 'Lone Wolf' skill (100 skill points), as this stops your partner from helping you. Whenever you have a single enemy attacking you, let them knock you to the ground, then kill them. Wait for 15 seconds and you will recover, thus earning the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/D47.jpg Lifesaver (B)

Help or rescue your partner ten times.

Whenever your partner is either downed or incapacitated, you can help or rescue them by pressing :circle: nearby them. In order for your partner to become incapacitated, they must be grabbed by an enemy. This can easily be farmed during either Chapter 4 - Leon's Campaign or Chapter 4 - Jake's Campaign during the fight against Ustanak. Ustanak tends to grab you and your partner a lot during this fight, so let him grab your partner, rescue them, then repeat.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/8DE.jpg Weapons Master (S)

Use all the weapons in the game and kill ten enemies with each of them.

Despite the description, only 25 weapons require 10 kills for this trophy, weapons such as the RPG or Gun Turret aren't necessary. Some of these guns are exclusive to a certain character, so you will have to play each character enough to use their exclusive weapons, though these weapons are default weapons, so you won't have to unlock them. If you need to farm kills for any of these weapons, simply load up any chapter with the respective character and get 10 kills with it.

The 25 weapons required, and the people to whom they are exclusive, are:

  1. Nine-Oh-Nine (909) - Chris, Jake
  2. Picador - Helena
  3. Wing Shooter - Leon
  4. Shotgun - Leon, Helena, Jake, Sherry
  5. Assault Shotgun - Chris, Piers, Ada
  6. Hydra - Helena
  7. Lightning Hawk - Leon, Helena
  8. Elephant Killer - Jake, Sherry
  9. Sniper Rifle - Jake, Sherry, Ada
  10. Semi-Automatic SR - Leon, Helena, Chris, Piers
  11. Anti-Material Rifle - Piers
  12. Ammo Box 50 - Ada
  13. Triple Shot - Sherry
  14. MP-AF (Machine Pistol - Accurate Fire) - Piers
  15. Assault Rifle for Special Tactics - Chris
  16. Bear Commander - Jake, Sherry, Ada
  17. Assault Rifle RN - Leon
  18. Grenade Launcher - Chris, Piers
  19. Crossbow - Ada
  20. Survival Knife - Leon
  21. Combat Knife - Chris
  22. Stun Rod - Sherry

The Hand Grenade, Incendiary Grenade and Remote Bomb are not required for this. Thanks to abc-123_jazz for confirming this.

To check how many enemies you've killed with a respective weapon, go to Records on the main menu, then go to Weapons.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/FCA.jpg Give a Little Push (B)

Knock ten enemies off a high place.

In order to knock an enemy from a high place, you must press :r1: when near an enemy who is standing by a ledge. This is easily farmable during Chapter 1 - Chris' Campaign, about 10 minutes into the chapter. You'll reach a checkpoint next to a metal staircase, on which stands a lone J'avo. Walk up to him and push him off with :r1:, then restart the checkpoint and repeat.

For a video demonstrating this tactic, please see below. Credit to PowerPyx for the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1oVoNbt0I]Resident Evil 6 - Silent Killer & Give a Little Push Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/EF5.jpg Stuntman (B)

Defeat 20 enemies with the Hydra using a quick shot.

You must be playing as Helena to do this, as the Hydra is exclusive to her. With the Hydra, perform a quick shot by pressing :l1: + :r1: simultaneously. Helena will quickly fire a shot at the nearest enemy. Kill 20 enemies with this method to unlock the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/348.jpg Bring the Heat (B)

Take down an enemy from 50 meters away with a headshot using the thermal scope.

You must be playing as Piers to do this, as his Anti-Material Rifle is the only weapon with a thermal scope. With the weapon equipped, aim down the scope and press :triangle: to change to thermal scope, then headshot an enemy from at least 50 metres away. If you are having difficulty headshotting a J'avo from that distance, then you can go lay on your back by pressing :l1:, and :cross:, which will steady the sight, or you can purchase the 'Eagle Eye' skill (3,000 skill points) for an extra level of magnification. There are many locations where this can be done, but the best location is at the beginning of Chapter 2 - Chris' Campaign. As soon as the chapter starts, move back as far as you can, then headshot the farthest J'avo you can see.

For a video demonstrating this method, please see below. Credit to PowerPyx for the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL-iEHwCpHE]Resident Evil 6 - Bring the Heat Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/DE3.jpg High Voltage (B)

Defeat ten enemies with a stun rod charge attack.

You must be playing as Sherry to do this, as the Stun Rod is exclusive to her. In order to use a charge attack, you must hold :l1: + :r1:, then release :r1: when charged. Whenever you encounter a melee J'avo, simply charge up your Stun Rod and kill them with it. This can also be easily farmed anywhere during Jake's campaign that has enemies immediately after a checkpoint, as you can kill them and restart the checkpoint.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/9CE.jpg Zombie Massacre (B)

Defeat 500 zombies.

Simply kill a total of 500 zombies of any type to unlock this. You will easily encounter and kill 500 zombies during Leon's campaign, so you shouldn't need to grind this at all.

To check how many zombies you've killed, go to Records on the main menu, then go to Enemies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/9CF.jpg J'avo Genocide (B)

Defeat 500 J'avo.

Simply kill a total of 500 J'avo of any type to unlock this. You will easily encounter and kill 500 J'avo across Chris' and Jake's camapign, so you shouldn't need to grind this at all. Do note that the Neo-Umbrella J'avo do not count towards this total.

To check how many J'avo you've killed, go to Records on the main menu, then go to Enemies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/976.jpg B.O.W.s Are Ugly (S)

Defeat 100 enemies that have come out of a chrysalid.

The description for this is a little misleading, as they don't necessarily have to come out of a chrysalid, you just have to kill B.O.W.s. You likely will not encounter 100 B.O.W.s during a single playthrough of the game, though assuming you kill most B.O.W.s you encounter, you will receive this within 2 full playthroughs. However, if you need to grind for this, the best location is in Chapter 5 - Chris' Campaign during the section where you must wait an allotted time for the room to be pressurised. In here, there will be levers which when pulled will spawn two B.O.W.s (either Napads or Gnezdo). Pull the levers and kill the B.O.W.s, then when you can leave, do so in order to reach a save point. Once the game saves, restart the chapter, rinse and repeat.

The below video demonstrates this farming spot. Credit to Harry94 for the video.

To check how many B.O.W.s you've killed, go to Records on the main menu, then go to Enemies. The enemies that count towards this trophy are the Strelats, Mesets, Napad, Gnezdo, Lepotitsa, Ubistvo, Rasklapanje and Ogroman. Click the respective name for an image of the B.O.W.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/7C6.jpg Check Out My Dogs (B)

Customise your dog tags.

From the main menu, select Play Game, then select Dog Tags. Change the template, emblem and title, then save it. Ding, trophy. You will be able to do this immediately after the tutorial.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/DF5.jpg Titular Achievement (B)

Earn 10 different titles.

There are a total of 180 different titles in the game, all of which can be earned in either Campaign, Agent Hunt or Mercenaries. You will earn these for a variety of things, such as running a certain distance, completing a certain amount of chapters on a respective difficulty, or killing enough enemies of a certain type. You will easily earn 10 titles through normal play. Go to Title under Dog Tags once you have unlocked 10 different titles for this to unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/E8B.jpg One Is Better Than None (B)

Purchase one skill.

From the Campaign menu, you can select Skill Settings to purchase skills. Simply purchase any one skill for this trophy. The cheapest skill is 'Lone Wolf', which costs a measly 100 skill points.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/498.jpg Mad Skillz (G)

Max out all the skills that allow you to level up.

A handful of the skills that can be purchased have multiple levels, some have two levels while some have three levels. You must reach the max level for all of these skills in order to unlock the trophy. Purchasing all these skills and their respective upgrades will cost a total of 954,000 skill points.

The skills required for this, and their respective prices, are:

xg3kAry.png

If you need to farm for skill points, then there are three very good methods for doing this, which are:

Mercenaries
- If you are decent at Mercenaries, then you can easily rack up large amounts of skill points from it. As you progress through a round of Mercenaries, enemies will randomly drop Skill Points, ranging from 500 early on, up to 3,000 near the end. If you kill all 150 enemies and pick up all the Skill Points, you can easily make 40,000-50,000+ in a full game, which should take 10-15 minutes.

Chapter 5 - Chris' Campaign
- Alternatively, you can kill the B.O.W.s in
Chapter 5 - Chris' Campaign
, during the section where you must wait an allotted time for the room to be pressurised. In here, there will be levers which when pulled will spawn two B.O.W.s (either
Napads
or
Gnezdo
). Pull the levers and kill the B.O.W.s, then when you can leave, do so in order to reach a save point. Once the game saves, restart the chapter and kill them again. With this, you can make roughly 20,000 skill points every 7-8 minutes on Amateur difficulty, or as much as 30,000 skill points in the same timeframe on Professional difficulty (thanks to
BlackDevil990
for this information). Because of this, it is recommended you do it on Professional difficulty (assuming you have sufficient skill to kill B.O.W.s on Professional).

- with the ability to play No Hope difficulty and select checkpoints, you can farm many points very quickly here. Method courtesy of
Asher1985
:

A great place to farm skill points is Jake chapter 4-3, Poisawan shipping district. Load the checkpoint on No Hope difficulty and simply play through it. There are two chests, one with 2,000 and another with 5,000 and a shedload of crates. Enter the door at the end, wait for the game to save, quit and then repeat.

There are no enemies and you get 16,000 to 20,000 points for two or three minutes of time. This should be easier than any other method.

Earn a level-four title.

Many of the titles available in the game are tiered in four levels. In order to earn the level-four titles, you must complete the criteria for the base title a certain number of times. By far, the easiest level-four title to earn is 'Mad Dasher', which requires you to sprint for 5,000 metres. This can be earned in a few minutes, simply by finding an open area and holding :cross: to sprint in circles. Go to Title under Dog Tags once you have fulfilled the requirement for a level-four title for this to unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/6B6.jpg They're ACTION Figures! (B)

Collect 3 figures.

Action Figures are unlocked by finding enough Serpent Emblems in a respective camapaign, so if you are going for "Heirlooms", then this is a non-issue. If you get all four emblems in a chapter, you will unlock a figure. Similarly, if you get either the first, second, third or fourth emblem in each chapter, you will unlock more figures, so there are plenty of figures to earn in a single campaign. From the main menu, go to Special Features, then go to Collections and select the respective campaign. View three of the figures for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/A59.jpg Covered in Brass (S)

Earn 150 different medals.

In Resident Evil 6, you will earn certain medals at the end of a chapter or mission for completing certain tasks. There are a total of 264 different medals across Campaign, Agent Hunt and Mercenaries, so earning 150 shouldn't be too difficult. 175 medals are found in the Campaigns, so you technically don't even need to touch the other modes in order to earn this, though chances are you will only earn roughly 120 medals through Campaign during your first playthrough. If so, then play some Agent Hunt and Mercenaries, trying to complete as many different medals as possible.

If you want to check how many total medals you have, then go to Dog Tags and read the numbers under the three respective dog tags: Decorated Agent, Decorated Mercenary and Decorated Hunter. Add these three numbers for your total.

For a list of the available medals and how to earn them, please see this Medal List, courtesy of Sixation.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/698.jpg Heirlooms (S)

Collect all the serpent emblems.

Serpent Emblems are blue, round emblems that are scattered throughout the four campaigns that must be shot. There are four emblems in every chapter for all four campaigns, totalling 80 Serpent Emblems. A few of the emblems can only be earned with specific characters, so replaying some chapters will be necessary. If you miss any during your first playthrough and are unsure which ones you need to collect, then you can go to Special Features, then select Collections and select the respective campaigns. The files that run vertically are Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, whereas those that run horizontally are the four emblems for each chapter. If a file is missing, then you haven't shot its respective Serpent Emblem.

If you intend to get the majority of emblems in one playthrough, then recommended characters for each campaign are:

Leon's Campaign
- Either

Chris' Campaign
- Piers

Jake's Campaign
- Sherry

Ada's Campaign
- Ada (obviously)

For written locations of all 80 Serpent Emblems with screenshots, please see our Serpent Emblems Guide.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/F54.jpg I Prefer Them Alive (B)(H)

Rescue two female survivors at the cathedral.

During Chapter 2 - Leon's Campaign, you will enter a cathedral. In here, you will have to complete a set of puzzles in order to open the secret passage behind the altar. Once you do this, a new B.O.W - the Lepotitsa - will emerge. In order to get this, you simply need to kill him faster than he can kill the civilians. Use heavy weaponry such as shotguns, rifles or explosives, and if on a second playthrough, magnums. If you're having difficulty with this, then playing on Amateur is recommended. If playing in co-op, both players will receive this. If done correctly, this will unlocking during the cutscene, or after it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/06B.jpg Flying Ace (B)(H)

Pilot the VTOL without getting a scratch on it.

At the end of Chapter 4 - Chris' Campaign, you will get to pilot a VTOL. During this section, you will have to destroy a bunch of AA guns on a battleship, before destroying a mssile. In order to get the trophy, you must do this without taking any damage at all. When being targeted by missiles, press :r2: to dodge the missiles.

However, if you're playing as Piers, you don't have to do any of this, as you simply fire missiles at the AA guns - if you destroy in a clockwise motion from the right side of the carrier around to the left, you'll destroy the guns before the AA guns can fire missiles at you. If playing in co-op, both players will receive this. If done correctly, this will unlocking during the cutscene, or after it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/500.jpg Hard Choice (B)(H)

Shoot the helicopter pilot with a Magnum at point-blank range.

If playing Solo, then this trophy requires you to play as Jake.

During Chapter 4 - Jake's Campaign, you will eventually have to shoot down a helicopter with the help of Chris and Piers. Once in this area, you will have to climb to the highest rooftop via the ladders in front of you, which is only accessable as Jake. Once you reach the rooftop, wait until the helicopter drops enemies onto the rooftops, then press :cross: to grab onto the ropes that the enemies are climbing down. Then, climb the rope by tapping :square:, before shooting the pilot with :r1:. Despite the description, this can be done with either the Nine-Oh-Nine or the Elephant Shooter. If done correctly, this will unlock either during the cutscene, or after it. If playing in co-op, both players will receive this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1061/595.jpg Sneaking Around (B)(H)

Get through the aircraft carrier's bridge area without being noticed.

During Chapter 4 - Ada's Campaign, you will eventually encounter Chris and Piers coming up an elevator. It is from this point on that you must not be noticed. There are four enemies you have to kill here - two Neo-Umbrella J'avo and two "cockroach" J'avo, so a minimum of four Crossbow bolts is required. When you encounter the second searchlight, you must climb over the obstacle and then slide behind cover with :cross: and :l1: in order to not be seen. If at any point you alert the attention of any enemy or the alarm sounds, you will have to restart the checkpoint. If done correctly, this will unlock either during the cutscene, or after it.

Q: Do difficulty trophies stack?

A: Yes. If you complete all 20 chapters on Professional, all four difficulty trophies will unlock.

Q: Would you recommend doing Professional difficulty straight away?

A: No. Completing the game once before will make Professional considerably easier, as you'll have prior knowledge as well as skills. Also, completing Professional first means you'll simply have to grind more skill points for "Mad Skillz".

Q: How do I unlock Ada's campaign?

A: You must first complete Leon's, Chris' and Jake's campaigns on any difficulty. However Capcom plan to release free DLC in mid-December that will allow her to be played from the beginning.

Q: Will this free DLC include anything else?

A: Capcom have stated that this DLC will release in mid-December, adding a new difficulty - No Hope - allowing Ada's campaign to be played from the beginning, giving Ada a co-op partner, and allowing you to change the camera settings.

Q: Help! I'm trying to play co-op, but I'm on a different difficulty as my friend. How do I fix it?

A: Simply start a solo game before joining your friend, and set that game to the same difficulty as your friend's game. So if your friend is hosting a game on Professional, start a solo game on Professional first, then join their game.

Q: What if I join his game part-way into the chapter, will it count as finished when we reach the end of the chapter?

A: No, in order to receive credit for chapter completion, you must do the entire thing from lobby to results screen.

Q: How do I unlock Infinite Ammo?

A: You must first complete all four campaigns on any difficulty. Upon completing the last difficulty, Infinite Ammo skills will unlock for each weapon type, ranging in price from 79,000 skill points to 99,000 skill points.

Q: Does Infinite Ammo disable trophies?

A: No, it's the same as every other skill. Feel free to use it as much as you like.

Q: Do I have to get a checkpoint to save Serpent Emblem progress?

A: No, you don't. As soon as you shoot an Emblem, it will save the progress. The only exception for this is if you XMB quit from the game before allowing it to save Emblem progress in the background.

Q: I can't figure out how to beat a boss! What do I do?

A: All boss tactics, along with puzzle strategies, are provided in the respective chapter's trophy. Please see here.

Q: Do I need to buy any of the Mercenaries or Agent Hunt skills for "Mad Skillz"?

A: No, only the tiered skills for the campaign are required. Please see "Mad Skillz" for more details.

Q: Where's a good place to farm skill points for "Mad Skillz"?

A: Either in Mercenaries or during Chapter 5 - Chris' Campaign. Please see "Mad Skillz" for more details.

Q: I countered an enemy three times and the "Bob and Weave" trophy didn't unlock. What am I doing wrong?

A: Your counter attack must kill the enemy, simply countering an enemy doesn't count.

Q: What enemies count for the "B.O.W.s are Ugly" trophy?

A: Most B.O.W.s: Strelats, Mesats, Napad, Gnezdo, Lepotitsa, Ubistvo, Rasklapanje and Ogroman.

Q: I need more medals for "Covered in Brass". Where can I get some?

A: If you're having trouble getting 150 medals, then try playing Agent Hunt or Mercenaries. Medals from the DLC modes also count. The Medal List has all available medals.

Is a very nice guide in my opinion, very helpfull info, thanks!

But i have some couple of questions:

1) Does using infinite ammo affect in something the difficult trophies?, recently i finished all the campaigns in Normal and now i'll attemp Professional but using infinite ammo, but i'm worry if that block the trophy (since technically is like use a "cheat code")

2) Is there any way to know which medals i collected around the whole game, i cann't find the option to see it, always i see the titles Decorated Agent, Hunter and Mercenary for know how many differents medals i got...

Oh... and by the way, for some weird reason the link to the medal list doesn't work (at least for me)

1) Nope, as far as I know infinite ammo does not affect difficulty-related trophies whatsoever.

2) Before entering a story and start playing there's a list to see Medals, I believe. It's slipping my mind D':

Really? I'll check that out, and thank you! :)

EDIT: Odd... the link works fine for me. Is it not working for anyone else?

Good to know!, i tought that the Web browser was corrupted (i use the Opera browser of my Wii console)

By the way i found the option to see all the medals collected, is in the Main menu in "Records" (dang!..., how can i never check this option?...)

 This is why I decided not to write the guide when Fubura-chan said she was also working on one. Mines would look like crap compared to what they just did here, Fubura can put the strategy guide book makers out of business. :) Very nice job.

Bwaaaaaaaaa what're you doing here Otouto-bou ~ ;)

Also, it's Furuba. XD

Raven also did an excellent job :) Thank you ^~^
