Introduction:

It is the year 2170, 50 years after the events of Red Faction: Guerrilla. Mars has become uninhabitable, forcing everyone underground yet again. It is deep within the caves of Mars that the citizens of Mars discover what creatures inhabit Mars. You play as Darius Mason, grandson of Alec Mason, the protagonist of Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Armageddon has taken a leap of faith in gameplay from what that of previous Red Factions, ridding the sandbox world and giving the player a linear story full of aliens waiting to be demolished. Armageddon has a very obtainable platinum, with not a huge deal stopping the average gamer from reaching it. The one thing that may keep people from obtaining this platinum is Insane difficulty - which although not particularly hard, may offer a challenge for some.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: 1st Playthrough

The campaign and offline trophies for Red Faction: Armageddon can be completed in one playthrough due to the fact that Insane difficulty is available from the word go. The main thing you will want to pay attention to during this playthrough are the Audio Logs for “Chronicler”, as well as the combat trophies.

Luckily, the Audio Logs for “Chronicler” carry across playthroughs, meaning that you can find the first 20 in one playthrough, then find another 20 in another playthrough and still get the trophy. The same goes for every trophy in the game, meaning that none of the trophies are missable. On top of this, many of the combat trophies and some of the collection trophies can be earned in Infestation mode.

Upon completing Step 1, you will earn:

Step 2: 2nd Playthrough/Clean-up

This step is only required if you either decided to do your first playthrough on any difficulty other than Insane, or you missed any of the collection or combat trophies that can only be obtained in campaign. If you are still missing any of the Combat trophies, they are best done in Casual due to the enemies being weaker.

If not earned during Step 1, upon completing Step 2 you will earn:

(S)

That Coulda Gone Better

(G)
I Need A Nap

(B)

(B)

Step 3: Online/Infestation

Lastly, we have the Infestation trophies. Fortunately, there are no difficulty requirements for any of the Infestation trophies, meaning they can all be done on Casual if you really want, making them considerably easy. Also, only two of the trophies, "All For One, One For All" and "Field Surgeon" have to be done online, as the rest can technically be done offline. However, the fastest way to do these trophies is to get a group of 4 and set a game to be Casual difficulty on your favourite map. Play through all 30 waves, revive teammates when they go down and don't let anyone bleed out. If successful, you should get “Soldier”, “Commando”, “Honorary Mason”, “All For One, One For All” and taken a decent chunk of revives out of “Field Surgeon”.

Once you have done this, you will have to play 5 waves on every default map to unlock the DARK variants of maps, then complete just 1 wave for each of the DARK maps, reviving teammates during this time, and you should have the last two Infestation trophies, “Bug Hunt” and “Field Surgeon”.

Upon completing Step 3, you will earn:

(B)

Soldier

(S)
Commando

(G)
Honorary Mason

(B)
Bug Hunt

(B)
Field Surgeon

(S)
All For One, One For All

Which will ultimately unlock:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/17.jpg That Coulda Gone Better (S)

Finish the Single Player game on Hard Difficulty.

Read “I Need A Nap” for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/18.jpg I Need A Nap (G)

Finish the Single Player game on Insane Difficulty.

To receive these difficulty-related trophies, you must finish the entire campaign without changing the difficulty setting in the options. Insane difficulty is available from the start, and the difficulty trophies are stackable, meaning they can be earned in a single playthrough. Not much will keep players from progressing in Insane difficulty, just make sure to hide if your health gets low. If you can do this, then you shouldn't have much trouble throughout the whole game.

Combat Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/20.jpg Crusader (B)

Kill 175 enemies while in the L.E.O. exoskeleton.

Missable.

You first get access to the L.E.O. exoskeleton in the chapter Road To Bastion. This trophy can easily be farmed, as you can simply kill all the aliens within the first section and reload the chapter, as all percentages gained towards trophies will count, regardless of whether you restart, die, or anything else. If you choose to do this, then it is advisable to try and kill 5 enemies with a shoulder bash attack in order to earn “Ooooh Yeah!”.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/21.jpg Ooooh Yeah! (B)

Kill 5 enemies with one L.E.O. shoulder bash.

Missable.

To use the L.E.O. exoskeleton's shoulder bash attack, press :r2: and the exoskeleton will rush forwards, smashing through any obstacle in its path. Whenever you have access to the L.E.O. exoskeleton, there will no doubt be many aliens attacking you. Best done by waiting for a large group of aliens to crowd around you, namely Creepers, and try line them up and charge through them. If all goes well, you should get 5 kills.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/22.jpg Martian Drive-By (B)

Kill 100 enemies while in the Marauder Scout Walker.

Missable.

You first gain access to the Marauder Scout Walker in the chapter Heavy Metal. There are roughly 90 enemies within this chapter, and another 90 or so 2 chapters later in Must Go Faster, so it is easily obtainable through natural progression.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/23.jpg Hit ‘N Run (B)

Kill an enemy by ramming them with the Inferno GX.

Missable.

You first gain access to the Inferno GX in the chapter Air Support. This is incredibly easy to do, when you see an alien just fly into it and it will most likely die.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/24.jpg Exterminator (B)

Destroy 100 Pods while piloting the Mantis.

Missable.

During the chapter Knock, Knock, you get to pilot a Mantis. Throughout the whole chapter, there are about 200 Pods for you to destroy, so just shoot them as you see them and you'll get the trophy with ease.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/31.jpg It’s All In The Wrist (B)

Send an enemy at least 30 meters with Impact.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

To use Impact, tap :r2: when your nano charge is full and your character will release a burst of energy, capable of sending enemies flying and smashing through walls. Find an enemy near a cliff or other high location and use Impact to send them flying.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/32.jpg Haymaker (B)

Kill 5 enemies in one shot with Impact.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Just like with “Ooooh Yeah!”, find a large group of Creepers, the more the better, and use Impact so that the enemies will fly into a wall or other hard object. To greater your chances, set the difficulty to Casual and purchase all the Impact-related upgrades. A very good location to do this is at the start of Marauder Defenses. At the start, you will be attacked by about a dozen Creepers and an Alpha Creeper. Get them all close and cast Impact, easy done. This strategy also works for “Hold Still” and “Lock And Load”.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/33.jpg Zero G War (B)

Kill 50 Shockwaved enemies before they hit the ground.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

To use Shockwave, hold :r2: and press :cross: (in campaign) or press :r2: (when it is selected in Infestation) whenever your nano charge is full and your character will send all nearby enemies into stasis. At every opportunity, cast Shockwave on as big a group as possible and shoot away. Best done in a game of Infestation using a fast gun like Pistols or Assault Rifle. I managed to get all 50 kills within 10 waves on Normal difficulty.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/34.jpg Hold Still (B)

Kill 6 enemies in one use of Shockwave.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Just like “Zero G War”, but you need to kill 6 enemies in one go. Read “Haymaker” for a good location to do this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/35.jpg Lock And Load (B)

Keep Berserk active for at least 21 seconds in one use.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

To use Berserk, hold :r2: and press :square: (in campaign) or press :r2: (when it is selected in Infestation) whenever your nano charge is full. Your character will turn blue and all attacks will be stronger and faster. Berserk lasts for a few seconds, and every kill will reset the 'timer' for Berserk, so to get this, make sure you're in an area with lots of enemies and make sure to kill an enemy every time the Berserk bar is almost out to reset it. It should take about 8 Berserk resets to reach 21 seconds. Read “Haymaker” for a good location to do this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/36.jpg Back At Ya! (B)

Make an enemy kill themselves while shooting at your Shell.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

For this, you will need this Tier 4 Shell Upgrade, Reflective Shell. This costs 1,500 salvage. To use Shell, hold :r2: and press :circle: (in campaign) or press :r2: (when it is selected in Infestation) whenver your nano charge is full. A large nanite shield will form around the player, that reflects enemy explosives with the Upgrade Reflective Shell. Weaken a Ravager as much as possible, then cast a Shell and have it shoot at you while you're behind the shield. If the Ravager is firing an explosive projectile as opposed to the standard laser projectile, it will reflect back at them, killing them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/37.jpg Liftoff (B)

Send an enemy at least 50 meters with the Magnet Gun.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

To use the Magnet Gun, press :r1: when the reticle is yellow to fire an anchor point. Then press :r1: again when the reticle is blue set the attractor and to pull the first target to the second target. Find a large, open area and anchor an alien, then set the attractor as far and as high away as possible. Very easy to accomplish.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/38.jpg Martian Matchmaker (B)

Fire an enemy into another enemy with the Magnet Gun.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Simply anchor an alien and set the attractor on another alien, preferably one without obstacles in between to ensure they make contact.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/39.jpg Catch! (S)

Use the Magnet Gun to fling debris BACK at a Tentacle.

Missable.

Tentacles are huge aliens that are, well, a tentacle. They burst out of the ground and throw debris at you. When a Tentacle picks up a piece of debris, aim at the debris with the Magnet Gun and attach an anchor to it. As soon as the Tentacle throws the debris, attach the attractor to the Tentacle and the debris will fly straight back at him.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/40.jpg In. The. Face! (S)

Kill one of each enemy type with the Maul.

Missable.

This doesn't actually require you to kill all enemy types with the Maul, just some. The enemies that you are required to kill with the maul are:

Cultists:

  • Warrior
  • Herald

Aliens:

  • Creeper
  • Alpha Creeper
  • Ravager
  • Wraith
  • Berserker
  • Behemoth
  • Pod
  • Monolith

All enemies will appear in Player Stats – but only if they have been killed in campaign, kills in Infestation do not count towards any Player Stats. To find these stats, go to Extra > Player Stats > Players.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/41.jpg What Is Best In Life? (B)

Perform melee finishers on 25 Creepers (single player only).

Missable.

Creepers are the basic aliens you fight that crawl on all fours. When a Creeper is on low health, stand in front of it and press :r3:, and Darius will stomp on the Creeper's head. The easiest way to do this is to stand in front of any Creeper Pod and perform a melee finisher on every Creeper that spawns until the trophy unlocks. Take note that this can be done in single player only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/42.jpg Boom Goes The Dynamite (B)

Kill 2 other enemies with a single exploding Berserker.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Berserkers are the giant aliens who throw either fire or electrical bombs at you. When a Berserker dies, they explode, damaging everything and everyone around it. Get one to low health so he charges at you to explode, and when he is close to 2 or more enemies, finish him off to kill the nearby enemies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/43.jpg Crack Shot (B)

Kill a Wraith before it re-sheaths.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Wraiths are the aliens that look like small Ravagers, but attack using a charged beam attack. They will remain invisible until they start charging their beam attack. When a Wraith become visible, simply kill it before it turns invisible again.

Collection Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/26.jpg Salvager (B)

Find 200 piles of salvage.

Missable.

Piles of salvage are tall blue cylinders with a white aura that appear throughout the game and give you 30 and 60 salvage when picked up. There are easily over 1,000 piles of salvage throughout the campaign, so just pick up all salvage you find and you will have this in no time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/27.jpg Nanergy! (S)

Gather 25,000 total salvage.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

Salvage is the currency in Red Faction: Armageddon. It is used to purchase Upgrades and Cheats. It can be obtained by picking up piles of salvage, destroying structures and picking up the blue 'discs' of salvage, and completing waves in Infestation mode. Simply get a total of 25,000 salvage to get this. You don't need to have 25,000 in one go, so feel free to spend it as you like.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

There are four Upgrade rings in the game. The first is unlocked by default, with the proceeding rings unlocked by earning a higher completion percentage in the campaign, or by completing higher waves in Infestation. The first ring consists of six Upgrades, all costing 1,000 salvage each, so therefore a minimum of 6,000 salvage is required to get this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/25.jpg Chronicler (S)

Listen to 40 Audio Logs.

Missable.

Audio Logs appear as an item with a green aura, easily distinguishable to the blue auras of ammo, the white aura of salvage, and the red auras of weapons. Fortunately, they can be obtained over multiple playthroughs, so if you obtain 35 Audio Logs in your first playthrough, you can find 5 of the last 6 in the next playthrough and still get the trophy. Also, at the end of the chapter Older Enemies, you will receive Archivist Log 01 through 10, all of which count towards the trophy. Therefore, you actually only have to find 30 Audio Logs to earn the trophy.

Here is a video guide for the Logs. Take note that this guide doesn't have every Log location, but it has enough to get the trophy.

Online/Infestation Trophies:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/44.jpg Soldier (B)

Finish waves 1 through 10 on any map in Infestation.

Can be done in offline Infestation.

Read “Honorary Mason” for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/45.jpg Commando (S)

Finish waves 1 through 20 on any map in Infestation.

Can be done in offline Infestation.

Read “Honorary Mason” for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/46.jpg Honorary Mason (G)

Finish waves 1 through 30 on any map in Infestation.

Can be done in offline Infestation.

Every Infestation map has 30 waves. Wave 1 is unlocked for each unlocked map by default, and when you complete a wave on a map it will unlock that wave as a starting wave. So if you completed waves 1 through 9 for instance, you would be able to start a game on wave 9 for that map. This means that you don't have to complete waves 1 through 30 in a single game, it can be over as many games as possible. You could complete waves 1 through 9, then join a game online and do waves 11 through 30 on the same map, then by completing wave 10 you would receive all three wave trophies simultaneously.

Finish at least one wave on each map in Infestation.

Can be done in offline Infestation.

There are 16 Infestation maps to complete. You have access to 8 of these maps by default and will unlock the DARK variants of the maps by completing any 5 waves on the original level. So for instance on Black Market, you could complete waves 1 through 5, 10 through 15, or any 5 random waves and this would unlock Black Market DARK. Therefore you have to complete at least 5 waves for the initial 8 maps, then only 1 wave on the 8 DARK maps. Also, you don't have to play 5 waves on the original 8 maps, as you can play the DARK variants online in someone else's lobby. Thanks to CoolDust for mentioning this!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/48.jpg Field Surgeon (B)

Perform Revival 25 times in Infestation.

Must be done in online Infestation.

In Infestation, when a teammate's health gauge is emptied, they will begin 'bleeding out', in which time they will have 25 seconds to be revived before they die which renders them a spectator for the remainder of the wave. When a teammate is downed, run over to them and hold :square: to revive them. Do this 25 times and the trophy is yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/583/49.jpg All For One, One For All (S)

Finish a 4 player Infestation game beyond wave 9 without anyone bleeding out.

Must be done in online Infestation.

The easiest way to do this is to have at least wave 10 unlocked on a map, and use that as the starting wave. Get 3 friends (or random players, but friends are a lot more reliable) and start a game of Infestation on Casual difficulty. Stay within a relatively close proximity of each so that if any member is downed, they can be revived before they bleed out. If you complete the wave without anyone bleeding out, you and your teammates will get the trophy.

"Chronicler" Log Locations

Below is a text list of all the Log locations in the game. As mentioned in the "Chronicler" trophy, only 30 are required for the trophy due to the Archivist Logs.

Armageddon

Log 06: Objective – ENTER THE TERRAFORMER

When you need to destroy the 3 power supplies to deactivate the force field right at the start, you will find the Log directly opposite from where the force field. It sits in the middle of the road between two of the power supply towers.

Log 21: Objective – FIND THE CULTIST REINFORCEMENTS

Just before you go to find the Cultist Reinforcements, you have to take out all the cultists in the area. They will all be located in a 3 storey building. Behind the building in the corner is the Log.

The Terraformer

Log 22: Objective – GET TO THE TURBINE ROOM

After you use Impact to destroy all the doors, you'll fight some Cultists. Kill them all and follow the marker up a set of stairs. Once on the second floor, you'll be attacked by 2 cultists in a hallway with 2 small rooms. The Log is in the second of these rooms.

Log 23: Objective – SAVE THE TERRAFORMER

When you get this objective, you'll be in a room on the first floor. Kill the cultists, then climb the ladder and walk around the passageway. Just inside the doorway leading to the second storey of the room you started in will be sitting the Log.

We're Not Alone

Log 20: Objective – CLEAR THE DEBRIS

When you receive the objective to clear the debris, there will be a large structure in front of you with two piles of salvage on it. Drop down to the base of the structure and find the Log in the corner or the section alongside two more piles of salvage.

Log 24: Objective – GET BACK TO BASTION

After being introduced to the Ravager, continue following the path for a while until you see a small building at a turn. The Log is right outside the building. Very difficult to miss as it you have to walk directly past it.

Outbreak

Log 02: Objective – GET TO THE MINING COLONY

At the start of the level, head up the stairs. To your left will be a bridge and to your right a blocked tunnel with a fire. The Log just inside the tunnel entrance.

Log 33: Objective - CLEAR THE AREA

"If you see the burnt truck, it's to the right of it under a dome like structure." - credit to tasteslikefish for finding this Log.

Log 08: Objective – ACTIVATE THE ELEVATOR

When you encounter your first Monolith (large, green alien that strengthens nearby aliens), head to the left of the Monolith. The Log will be sitting just outside a blocked tunnel next to some rubble.

Road To Bastion

Log 36: Objective – SECURE THE ELEVATOR

As soon as the level starts, turn left and run over to where the three beds are. The Log is sitting next to the makeshift beds.

Log 11: Objective – ACTIVATE THE EXCAVATOR

Once you find the excavator, walk up onto to ridge with the Upgrade station. The Log is to the side of the station in front of some crates.

Log 25: Objective – GET TO THE GONDOLA STATION

On the way to the Gondola, you will fight two Monoliths and a bunch of Ravagers and Creepers in between two buildings. The Log is at the back of the right building.

Log 35: Objective – GET TO THE BASTION ELEVATOR

As soon as you step off of the gondola, head up the road to your right where the vehicle was previous destroyed by the aliens. At the top of the road just outside the blocked tunnel sits the Log.

Bastion Defenses

Log 27: Objective – GATHER POWER CELLS

The Log can be found just inside the entrance of a cylinder next to the first power cell tower.

Log 01: Objective – GATHER POWER CELLS

After obtaining the second power cell, follow the objective marker up the stairs. You'll see two turrets pointing down a hallway. From the top of the stairs, the Log is directly opposite you, past the second turret.

Log 05: Objective – REPAIR THE GENERATORS

The Log is sitting directly next to the second generator. Can't miss it.

Water Supplies

Log 37: Objective – FIND THE WATER PUMPS

From the starting position, you will see two buildings in front of you. The right one contains a weapon stash, whereas the left one contains the Log.

Log 19: Objective – FIND THE WATER PUMPS

Once you enter the multi-floor room directly through the first corridor, head to the opposite side of the room on the same floor. The Log is sitting here.

Log 28: Objective – FIND THE NEXT PUMPING STATION

After defeating the Berserker, you will come across a destroyed monorail station with an Upgrade station and weapon stash. The Log is on the other side of the monorail track, which you can reach by sprinting and jumping at the last second. I failed to jump across during my first attempt, so I found my own way across: I knocked the sign from above down onto the ground, pushed it slightly over the gap, then ran to the end of the sign and jumped, easily clearing the gap. This isn't at all necessary, as it can be cleared with a standard sprint jump, I just wasn't aware of this at the time :p

Ice Mines

Log 15: Objective – FIND THE CORPORAL

At the start of the level you will find an Upgrade station up the ramp. Behind this is 3 crates, and amongst the crates is the Log.

Log 16: Objective – FIND THE CORPORAL

After you've been through the Administrative buildings (S.A.M. will tell you when you are in the Admin buildings), there will be a large ramp directly after where you fought 2 Monoliths and a Berserker. Instead of heading up the ramp, run around to the right, where you will find the Log amongst other goodies.

Log 17: Objective – GET TO THE PURIFICATION PLANT

After finding the Corporal, head up the ramp that the objective marker leads you to. Once up on the galley, head into a large orange room on the left hand side that has a large claw contraption in the middle. Next to the contraption is the Log.

Infection

Log 12: Objective – DESTROY THE INFECTED BUILDINGS

After destroying the first of five infected buildings, follow the objective marker to find the next Log sitting next to a building across from the weapon stash and Upgrade station, on the path to the second infected building.

Log 13: Objective – DESTROY THE INFECTED BUILDINGS

After destroying the second infected building, continue following the objective marker until you're in another large cavern. The marker will then lead up a set of stairs squeezed in between a large, 2 storey building and a 1 room hut. The Log can be found at the entrance to the 1 room hut.

Log 14: Objective – DESTROY THE INFECTED BUILDINGS

Once you are in the vicinity of the fourth infected building, you will find the Log besides what appears to be a small hangar which is adjacent to the infected building. It lies in between the hangar wall and a small shield with a pile of salvage of top.

On The Run

Log 31: Objective – MEET KARA AT THE MARKET

After receiving the transmission from Kara, head up the ramp and you will see a weapon stash at the end of the hall. Head to the stash and look left, the Log will be on the ground.

Log 30: Objective – FIND KARA

Once you have past the area with the security checkpoint and entered the small two-storey building, turn left and jump through the open window to get the Log.

Log 29: Objective – REACH THE ELEVATOR TO THE SURFACE

After getting ambushed by a Wraith, you will need to repair and climb a ladder, forcing you to leave behind the L.E.O. exoskeleton if still in use. At the top of the ladder will be both an Upgrade station and weapon stash, and the Log.

The Red Faction

Log 32: Objective – RETURN TO THE RED FACTION

After destroying the last Pod, you will find the Log sitting in front of the blocked tunnel.

Relay Stations

Log 07: Objective - DESTROY THE RELAY STATIONS

Right at the start of the level, there is a bridge in front of you. Cross the bridge and follow the path to the right. You'll find the Log sitting on the ground next to the Rail Driver.

Log 34: Objective - DESTROY THE RELAY STATIONS

Immediately after destroying the third Relay Station, run behind the large hut next to where the third station was. The Log will be sitting right on the edge.

Marauder Defenses

Log 03: Objective – GET TO THE FRONT LINE

Once the first generator is activated, defeat the aliens in the area and head behind the cylindrical structure, you will find the Log across a short bridge.

Log 04: Objective – GET TO THE GENERATORS

Once you receive the objective, head into the room with the giant contraption in the middle and blue contraptions in each corner that you must pass through to get to the generators. There is an alcove in the middle of the room on the left side, in here you'll find the Log.

Older Enemies

Log 18: Objective – FIND THE LAB

Right at the very start, walk forward and the Log will be sitting on the ground. Very easy to see.

Log 09: Objective – FIND THE LAB

After you cross the walkway on which you are attacked by a Tentacle twice, you will turn a corridor with another Tentacle at the end. To the left of the corridor is a dark alcove. The Log is in here.

Log 10: Objective – FIND THE LAB

Once you've gone down the ramp on which you were attacked by a huge swarm of Creepers and a Berserker, you'll find this Log sitting on the ground in the hall just as it turns the corner.

The Road Less Travelled

Log 26: Objective – DEACTIVATE THE FORCE FIELD

Get off the barge and kill the few aliens blocking the way. Enter the little thoroughfare and the Log is on the right hand side as you enter.

This is a great guide for this game! I'm just mad I let someone talk me out of starting on insane cause I tried it and its not that insane? Now UNREAL 3 is the definition of insane!

Why thank you :) Insane has a few hairy moments in it, but nothing too difficult, so it's definitely the way to go if you want to do everything in one playthrough.

Don't worry though, as unless you exlusively attempt to get all the Combat/Collection trophies relating to campaign, you'll miss something. I did and needed another half-playthrough for it, not that I minded :)

I found Audio log 33. Stumbled on it while using your guide to complete the trophy. It's on "Outbreak: Clear the Area". If you see the burnt truck, it's to the right of it under a dome like structure.
Thanks fish, I'll add it the guide and credit you.

Nice job dark_raven! Well written guide. I especially like how you bolded the levels in the description for each collection trophy, so you can easily see which level you can get them in. I wish more people did this in trophy guides. I can't wait to start sp and get my shiny platinum!! :D :D
Thanks! :D I did that for my Lost Planet 2 guide, so thought I'd keep as a trend through all my guides :p Edited by Dark_Raven666

Guide looks great, I plan on picking this game up sometime soon. And will definitely be using your guide for help. :D

Nice job...

It may not last a particularly long time, but it's certainly fun while it lasts, especially if you liked the previous Red Factions! Glad to hear you'll be using my guide :D

No problem and thanks for the guide. Really helped out. Got the platinum today.

Field Surgeon took me awhile because I kept getting on teams where nobody wanted to go down. I figured out, that if you host, turn up the difficultly and people will blindly join. The harder it is, the more they fall, and the easier it is to get those revives :D

Well there is the "Kevorkian" method that was posted in the forums, I'm surprised people haven't actually been using it. I may have to add it to the guide.

Does anyone know if I can start a a game on insane

Using the new game plus option (after beating sp once). I'm sure you'll still

Get the trophy but I want to double check before starting my insane playthrough.

Yep, you could purchase all the cheats and breeze through on Insane and still get the trophy.

I can swear that the 'Boom goes the dynamite' trophy is glitched.

I'm on Road to Bastion where you are told to activate and then board the Gondola. When the enemies spawned I blasted the Beserker with a load of machine gun ammo from the Leo I'm in. It blew up, killing about 5 creepers. But no trophy.

hmm, it may be that it could possibly only be earned in Infestation mode. I got mine in Infestation, as did both my friends, and I haven't heard anyone say they've earned it in the Campaign. Then again, I haven't seen anyone mention about not being able to earn it in Campaign. Can anyone confirm whether it is simply a case of being Infestation-only, or just glitched?
