Reality Fighter is a fighting game exclusively for the Vita. It allows you to customize your fighting experience, the world around you; it uses an augmented reality that can be used to take pictures of yourself to create your own personal fighter with their own unique fighting style. Any place around the world can become your fighting arena because the stages in this game are determined by the environment around you.

Trophy wise, the list itself is very easy. The Platinum would only take about 10-20 hours of your time but the bad news is the online multiplayer because nobody plays this game online anymore. This is bad because there is a trophy for beating 5 friends within 1 hour after defeating your first opponent online. This can be boosted but requires a total of 6 boosters to unlock. The rest of the list requires you achieve gold scores in all time attack challenges, beating 30 opponents in a single run during survival mode, performing all moves for each fighting style and purchasing all styles, weapons and costumes from the store.

Note: For those wondering how to change the control fighting scheme from Buttons to Touch. You go into "Your Fighter" at the main menu, choose a fighter and then select "Style". In the low left bottom corner you'll find "Controls" tap this option to change fighting controls schemes.

http://i.imgur.com/5Z6Kqke.png

In this section I'll list a few brief helpful tips and tricks.

  1. Always play with the Touch control fighting scheme. Touch is for New Players while Buttons is for Pro Players.
  2. Be sure to download and install the 1.03 patch (you need the latest patch to play online and 93mb in size).
  3. The Boxer or Kung Fu fighting styles are the best default fighting styles to choose from.
  4. Having the following styles equipped will give you the best stats you can possibly get in this game without buying any DLC. It'll also make Survival Mode much easier for you:
    • Head: Spandex Head + Construction Helmet
    • Face: Samurai Mask
    • Body: Chinese Jacket + Super Hero's Cape
    • Arms: Leather Spikes
    • Hands: Astronaut Gloves
    • Legs: Mummy Legs
    • Feet: Cow Hooves
    • Weapons: Electric Guitar + Wand + Rocket

Step 1: Complete the Story Mode - No Weapons

This is the first step which will require you to complete the Story Mode. In Story Mode you will take your customized fighter to fight against all 16 fighters of Reality Fighters along with 3 stages related to Time Attack Mode. You'll have no choice but to defeat all 16 opponents and clear the 3 Time Attack challenges with a Gold score. The good news is that doing these things is that you'll be unlocking stages, clothing, weapons, fighting styles, characters, first 3 Time Attacks challenges and earning stars. Story Mode shouldn't pose any difficulty for you and if you do need some tips, please refer to the helpful tips in the walkthrough section of the Roadmap. One last thing, you can press :circle: to skip through some cutscenes in Story Mode. Skipping those scenes will save you some time.

Upon completing this step you'll unlock the following trophy:

(G) The New Sensei

Step 2: Complete Story Mode again but this time on Full Steam Mode

After completing Story Mode for the first time you'll unlock a trophy and you'll also unlock a mode called "Full Steam". Now this mode is where you can fight with weapons you've purchased from the in game store. However, there isn't a need for you to complete this mode with a weapon at all. You can do it without a weapon even though your opponents will still be using a weapon. This mode needs to be completed because after completing Full Steam Mode at least once, you'll unlock all the weapons in the game's store so you can purchase them. This is important because it's related to the Rodeo Drive trophy and remember that you can skip the dialogue with :circle: to speed things up a little.

Step 3: Finish unlocking the remaining clothing styles or complete the Story Mode again

This step is necessary and it's needed because after completing the Story Mode twice (with and without weapons) there will still be styles missing from the store. There's two ways to go about unlocking the remaining styles:

  • Quick Fights with 1 Round on Very Easy difficulty
  • Complete the Story Mode about 4 or 5 more times

Personally, I prefer the Quick Fights because you can win within 10 seconds for each fight. Not only that but if you needed clothing from the opponent you defeated, you'll get a piece of their clothing style after winning the fight. If you don't get anything from an opponent after you have beaten them, then you have unlocked all of the clothing from that opponent and can move onto another opponent. All you have to do is keep fighting everybody in Quick Fight until you no longer get any items from them.

If you do the Story Mode again then that will also enable you to fight against everyone again while still unlocking clothing styles from them. Story Mode can be a little time consuming and boring going through again. Not only that but fights will take more than 10 seconds to win versus the amount of time it takes you to win from a Quick Fight. The choice is entirely up to you providing every item is unlocked in the store.

Doing this step also means that you've defeated an enemy without receiving no damage at all, thus unlocking:

(B) Perfect combat

Step 4: Achieve a Gold score in all 10 Time Attack Challenges

In order to unlock this mode you need to play through Story Mode first. Playing through Story Mode at least once will unlock Time Attack's first 3 stages. Each stage is ranked from a Bronze, Silver, and Gold scoring system. There are a grand total of 10 different Time Attack challenges that you'll need to achieve a Gold score in. Achieving a Gold Score in all 10 Time Attack challenges will unlock the trophies related to achieving all Bronze and Silver scores because they stack.

The good news is you will already have the first 3 stages completed with Gold Stars if you've completed the Story Mode at least once already. During each stage of Time Attack, you'll need to destroy various objects to achieve stars. Stars are what are used as a score. There will be larger/smaller objects that gives you more score for destroying them, while there will also be some objects that you need to try and avoid destroying. In order to know the objects that you cannot destroy during a stage, it's best to read the descriptions of each stage before you start them. For more information about Time Attack challenges and how to complete them, please refer to Trophy Guide.

Completing this step will unlock the following:

(B) Against the Clock

(S) Time Warrior

(G) Master of Time

Step 5: Purchase all Fighting Styles and perform all their moves in Quick Fights

In this step you should have enough Gold stars to purchase all 15 types of Fighting Styles. Once you've purchased the style, it can be added to a custom character's fighting style. In order to unlock these fighting style trophies, you need to perform all the moves for that fighting style in a single fight.

This can easily be done in Quick Fight Mode with the following settings:

  1. Go into Single Player
  2. Select Quick Fight Mode
  3. Change the Difficulty to Very Easy
  4. Change the Rounds to 5
  5. Adjust the Advantage to your favor (slide the meter to your green side)

Last of all, I highly recommend that you do these with the controls of "Touch". The Touch control scheme is much better than "Buttons" which requires skills. Touch doesn't require skill at all to use. For more information as well as a list of moves, please refer to the Trophy Guide.

Performing all fighting styles moves in a single fight will unlock the following trophies:

(B) Karate Master

(B) Zombie Master

(B) Cowboy Master

(B) Ballerina Master

(B) Boxing Master

(B) Capoeira Master

(B) Kung Fu Master

(B) Super Hero Master

(B) Super Heroine Master

(B) Sorcerer Master

(B) Samurai Master

(B) Disco Master

(B) Break Dance Master

(B) Wrestling Master

(B) Muay Thai Master

Step 6: Defeat 30 Opponents in Survival Mode in a Single Run

Now this is considered to be the hardest trophy in the entire game. You'll need to defeat 30 opponents in a row during a single run of Survival Mode. If you let the timer run out or lose the fight, then you'll need to restart all over again. The difficulty somewhat increases as you get higher and higher after every 10 opponents defeated. When you defeat an opponent, you'll get some health and time added back to you timer. The timer is always 60 seconds but it can be lower if you're too slow at defeating your opponents. Now there are some tricks that you can do to make Survival Mode much easier and that will be customizing your fighter with the best gear and weapons in the game. For more info and how to go about customizing your fighter for Survival Mode, please refer to the Trophy Guide.

Upon completing this step you'll unlock the following:

(B) Basic Survival

(S) Advanced Survival

(G) Extreme Survival

Step 7: Buy all clothing and weapon styles from the store + Discovering all costumes

This is the most time consuming step where you're required to buy all the clothing and weapons styles from the store. At this point you should have everything already unlocked in the store and all you need to do is purchase the styles. This will take a total of 544250 stars to buy everything from the store. As many will know the best method to obtain stars is by farming Time Attack Mode challenges. While going for all the styles in the game you should also be going for the costume related trophies. These are hidden style costumes that can be discovered when you customize your fighter with certain clothing/weapon styles. For more information about the correct combination of styles and how to farm stars, please refer to the trophy guide.

This step will take about 4-6 hours of your time but you'll unlock the following:

(S) Lovely Challenge I

(S) Lovely Challenge II

(G) Lovely Challenge III

(G) Love Challenge IV

(G) Rodeo Drive

Step 8: Boost the Rush Hour Trophy + Cleanup

This step will also serve as your clean up step so if you're still missing any trophies, then now is the time to go back and obtain them all. Rush Hour is an online trophy and to get it you have to defeat 5 different opponents within 1 hour during Infrastructure mode. The trophy description says that the opponents need to be your friends in order to unlock the trophy but this isn't entirely true. They don't really need to be on your Friends List to unlock the trophy but in reality, the opponents you defeat will likely be from your Friends List. This is because the servers for this game are completely dead so to make this trophy much easier to obtain, you're going to have to boost it. It should be noted that it requires 6+ people to boost. If you need boosters then please use the Trophy Boosting Thread. For more information please refer to the Trophy Guide.

After finding 6 people it should only take you 15-20 minutes to obtain the following trophies:

Complete the story mode

Story Related, can't be missed.

Story Mode can be found by selecting "Single Player" from the main menu then select "Story" to access the Story Mode. In Story Mode you will take your customized fighter to fight against all 16 fighters of Reality Fighters along with 3 stages related to Time Attack Mode. You'll have no choice but to defeat all 16 opponents and clear the 3 Time Attack challenges with a Gold score. The good news is that doing these things is that you'll be unlocking stages, clothing, weapons, fighting styles, characters, first 3 Time Attacks challenges and will be earning http://i.imgur.com/OGZhjQ9.gif from every fight.

This is important because it's related to the Rodeo Drive trophy. Story mode shouldn't pose too much trouble for you but if you need some helpful tips, then please refer to the walkthrough found in the Roadmap.

Below is a list of all 16 opponents:

  1. S-Stacy
  2. Battista
  3. Karanga

Achieve Gold score in all Time Attack challenges

Time Attack is another mode found in "Single Player" from the main menu. In order to unlock this mode you'll need to first play through the Story Mode.

The good news is you'll already have the first 3 stages completed with Gold Stars if you've completed the Story Mode at least once already. During each stage of Time Attack, you'll need to destroy various objects to achieve stars. Stars are what are used as a score. There will be larger/smaller objects that gives you more score for destroying them while there will be some objects that you need to try and avoid destroying. In order to know which objects you cannot destroy during a stage, it's best to read the descriptions of each stage before you start them.

The best thing about Time Attacks is that you can also use your weapons to help destroy objects. The two best weapons to use are the following:

  • Electric Guitar
  • Twin Swords

I personally prefer the Electric Guitar because with the :vitar: + :triangle: or :vitar: + :circle: you can break objects with ease with an electric shockwave that emits around your character's body. Using this move all you need to do is position yourself near each objects and just spam the :vitar: + :triangle: or :vitar: + :circle: to rank up high scores fast. The Twin Swords is another alternative that you can use because you can use the :vitar: + :circle: to throw the Twin Swords through 2 or 3 objects at once. I really don't like to use them because they don't destroy the smaller objects nor the objects in the air. The Electric Guitar can hit everything from large/small/air, which makes it the overall best weapon for Time Attack challenges in my honest opinion.

Below is the http://i.imgur.com/OGZhjQ9.gif Ranking System for achieving Gold Score:

  • Stage 1 ~ 600
  • Stage 2 ~ 900
  • Stage 3 ~ 1000
  • Stage 4 ~ 1200
  • Stage 5 ~ 1500
  • Stage 6 ~ 1600
  • Stage 7 ~ 1800
  • Stage 8 ~ 2000
  • Stage 9 ~ 2200
  • Stage 10 ~ 2500

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1095/13.jpg Perfect combat (B)

Defeat an enemy receiving no damage at all

To obtain this trophy you need to defeat an enemy without receiving any damage in return, this simply means that you need a Perfect Round. You can get a Perfect Round by not taking damage from your opponent, not even small chip damage. Your health bar starts as a full yellow bar and if you win with that full yellow bar, it will result in a Perfect Round. You might get this naturally just by playing through the story mode or boosting the Rush Hour trophy.

If you do not get it naturally, then you can do the following:

  1. Go into Single Player
  2. Select Quick Fight Mode
  3. Change the Difficulty to Very Easy
  4. Change the Rounds to 1
  5. Adjust the Advantage to your favor (slide the meter to your green side)

(A visual example of the settings)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1095/16.jpg Karate Master (B)

Perform all the moves for the Karate fight style in a single fight

The "Karate" fighting style costs 3000 Stars to unlock; however, you must complete story mode at least once to unlock the style for purchase in the in-game store. Purchasing this fight style will unlock Kowalski as a playable character. Once you've purchased the style, it can be added to a custom character's fighting style. To unlock this trophy you need to perform all the moves for the Karate fight style in a single fight.

This can easily be done in Quick Fight Mode with the following settings:

  1. Go into Single Player
  2. Select Quick Fight Mode
  3. Change the Difficulty to Very Easy
  4. Change the Rounds to 5
  5. Adjust the Advantage to your favor (slide the meter to your green side)

During each fight you can pause the game with :start: to bring up the Fight Menu, then select "Fighter Moves". In this menu option you'll see the entire list of moves and specials that your fighting style can perform. Each fighting style's move list is different, there are also 2 Ultra Specials that require you to build up the Special Meter. The Special Meter fills up by being aggressive against your opponent and getting hits off them. When it's fully blue then you will have 1 meter build up but when it's fully orange then you will have 2 meters built up.

While you're attempting each fighting style trophy, be sure to go from the top to the bottom of the list. This will prevent you from making a mistake by skipping a move. When you have a meter built up be sure to perform the Ultra moves of that fighting style, then go back to performing the rest of the moves to build up meter again. It doesn't matter if your moves miss or hit the opponent (grabbing moves need to connect though) they'll count as long as you performed them during the fights. Remember that you have 5 rounds meaning that it's best of 3 out of 5. If you're going to fail, then let the opponent defeat you so you can go into rounds 4 or 5.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1095/05.jpg Rodeo Drive (G) :tagcollectible:

Buy all clothing, weapons and fight styles

This will most likely be your last trophy as you're required to buy all the clothing, weapons, and fighting styles from the store. There is a total of 483 items and 15 fighting styles that you'll need to buy. This will take 544250 http://i.imgur.com/OGZhjQ9.gif to purchase everything from the store. For a complete list of all the items please see the Rodeo Drive ~ Complete Item Collectible Guide

You earn stars in the following ways:

  • Story Mode
  • Winning fights
  • Time Attack challenges
  • Survival Mode
  • Discovering costumes

You won't be able to purchase anything from the store until you have unlocked them by defeating opponents a certain amount of times. This is why you needed to beat the Story Mode roughly 4 or 5 times or you could have beaten the Story Mode 2 times and then fight everybody again in Quick Fight Mode with 1 round on very easy difficulty. Defeating opponents in Quick Mode will still unlock the items that you're missing. If they don't drop anything that means you got everything from them and you can move on to another opponent. After everything is unlocked in the store, all you need to do is grind out a ton of http://i.imgur.com/OGZhjQ9.gif from Time Attack Mode.

Below are the best Time Attack Challenges to grind:

  • Stage 6
  • Stage 8
  • Stage 9
  • Stage 10

Personally I liked Stage 10 the best because every time I run it I get 3000-5200 http://i.imgur.com/OGZhjQ9.gif. All you need to do is spam the Electric Guitar's :vitar: + :triangle: attack to rank up a high score within a minute. Other players might find that a different Stage works much better for them so grind the one that you feel comfortable with in obtaining stars.

Last of all there are a few item that aren't needed, which are the DLC and Clown styles. The DLCs are the items with an RF marked on them because these can be bought from the PSN Store. The Clown styles are clothing that is earned from Time Attack challenges but they're items that you can give to your friends with the Near application. Chances are you'll see that you don't have the Clown styles unlocked within the store.

These things aren't needed at all for unlocking the trophy:

  • DLC: All items with RF label.
  • Head: Clown Wig
  • Face: Clown Nose
  • Body: Clown Jacket
  • Legs: Clown Pants
  • Feet: Clown Shoes

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1095/04.jpg Extreme Survival (G)

Win 30 combats in survivor mode in a single run

This is considered to be the hardest trophy in the entire game because you need to defeat 30 opponents in a row during a single run of Survival Mode (opponents are always random). If you let the timer run out or you lose the fight, then you'll need to start all over again. The difficulty somewhat increases as you get higher and higher after every 10 opponents defeated. When you defeat an opponent you'll get some health and time added back to you timer. The timer is always 60 seconds but can be lower if you're too slow at defeating your opponents. Now there are some tricks that you can do to make Survival Mode much easier. And that will be customizing your fighter with the best gear and weapons in the game.

Customize your Fighter with the following:

  • Head: Spandex Head + Construction Helmet
  • Face: Samurai Mask
  • Body: Chinese Jacket + Super Hero's Cape
  • Arms: Leather Spikes
  • Hands: Astronaut Gloves
  • Legs: Mummy Legs
  • Feet: Cow Hooves
  • Weapons: Electric Guitar + Wand + Rocket
  • Fight Style: Boxer

With the above customizations, you'll have the best fighter that you can create with the highest stats possible. The key is to utilize your weapons efficiently. The Electric Guitar is a good weapon melee weapon to spam with the :vitar: + :square: combo. The Wand is for removing your opponent's clothing with :vitar: + :cross:. When you remove your opponent's clothes they'll take more damage from your attacks, which make defeating them much faster. The Rocket is there to get you behind your opponent so you can get some distance and also setup the Wand attack.

One of the best strategies you can do is the following:

  1. At the start of each fight, jump backwards to the rocket and press :vitar: + :square: to use the Rocket attack.
  2. Now that you're behind the opponent with distance, use the Wand attack to remove their clothing :vitar: + :cross:
  3. With their clothing removed quickly defeat them with the Boxer's Skull Cracker move or by using the Electric Guitar as a melee weapon.

Doing the above and Survival Mode will become a joke to you. There will be some opponents that miss the Wand attack. If you miss with the Wand, you can try to hit them with the Wand again but be warned that you will be left vulnerable to attack.

Lastly, there are some things that you do need to look out for:

  • Be cautious fighting against Battista because he is difficult to defeat sometimes and could lower your timer if you're struggling too much against him.
  • If you're using the Electric Guitar's melee attacks to win fights, it should be noted that you cannot hit S-Stacy with it. If she is your opponent it's recommended that you use the Skull Cracker move instead.
  • Perform the Ultra Attacks only when you know it'll defeat the opponent or if they're stunned.
  • After winning each fight, on average you get only 30+ seconds added back to your 60 second timer. Be sure to win every fight in the 30-45 second marker due to this reasoning.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1095/12.jpg Rush hour (S) :tagonline: :tagdatetime: :tagmulti:

Beat five different friends in Infrastructure in less than one hour

:psn:: You must be signed into the Sony Entertainment Network to unlock this trophy.

Maximum Players Needed to Boost: At least 6+

This is an online trophy that requires an Online Pass, once you've redeemed it then agree to the T&Cs and be sure that you have installed the current patch (v1.03) in order to play online. To obtain this trophy you have to defeat 5 different opponents online within 1 hour during Infrastructure mode. The trophy description says that they need to be your friends in order to unlock the trophy; however this isn't entirely true. They don't really need to be on your friend list to unlock the trophy but in reality the opponents you defeat will be from your Friends List. This is because the servers are completely dead so you will not find random players.

You're going to have to boost this but the good news is that it takes about 20 minutes of your time. The bad news is that you need to have 5 other people plus yourself which makes a total of at least 6+ boosters in a session. To find boosters I can recommend two ways to find people for this game and that is the Trophy Boosting Thread and PSN Profiles Gaming Sessions. Use them both together and you'll find people more quickly. Once you do have the max number of boosters ready, this is how your group should boost the trophy:

  • Have each booster add each other as a Friend (made easier by the Host creating a Party then inviting everyone into the Party)
  • You each fight each other 2 times each (one win and one loss)
  • After the 2 fights, you guys switch to another boosting partner to trade wins with them
  • Repeat until everyone gets through all other 5 boosters in your boosting session

Some things to remember:

  1. You can adjust the Date & Time of your PS Vita in the System settings menu if you're having problems beating 5 opponents in less than an hour.
  2. If you have prior wins already before boosting, then change your Date & Time settings before you start boosting e.g. If you win your first fight at 4:30 pm and win your 4th fight at 4:54 pm. If about 2 hours pass or even days/weeks, you can go into Date & Time settings. Change your time back to something between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm before you fight your opponent online. Picking 4:57 pm then winning the 5th fight online will still unlock the Rush Hour trophy for you.
  3. You don't have to boost the trophy in one session. It can still be obtained on different days and times as long as you "remember your 1st winning time" and change the Vita time settings to meet the requirements.

The guide is up. I'm still working on the supplement guide for it. Almost done, it's just time consuming to write down every item in the game along with their price.

Yes, this a guide challenge. The current stuck one really isn't helpful for members looking to Platinum this game, in fact it lead someone creating this thread http://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/reality-fighters/150979-costume-trophy-guide.html which is proof that it wasn't helpful to the community. My goal was to fix all the issues and make a proper Guide that was better suited for this game.

Other than that, the Guide is now open to feedback.

I'll have the total value of stars need to purchase everything soon. I'm still working on the Supplement, which should be up later or tomorrow.

Hey man, quick heads up, you have two step 3s. :p

Lol, it's been fixed. Thank you :o.

Great job on the guide, i finally went back to finish off my grinding to buy all the items

Thank you, yeah almost finished myself with those too. Just need about 200,000 more stars. Should be finished if I do Stage 10 about 68 more times getting 3000+ stars.

Edit: I'm pretty much done with this guide. I calculated the total stars needed too. Going to do a grammar and spelling check and then submit it.

Hi, thanks for the guide. I am working on this now and have a quick question, how do you use the touch screen when fighting as stated in the guide it is the best option when doing the moves i tap on the screen and the back but nothing happens thanks.

Some moves need to be performed when you touch the touchscreen and slide your finger across the screen. Same for the back of the touchpad. If you practice it in practice mode you'll get a much better feel.

I can pretty much say I have the platinum, only need to grind stars to buy everything and do all the moves for all styles.

The main difficult trophy is (G) Extreme Survival, and mostly because of the time limit, not because of your health. The recommended items make you a tank, but having 60 seconds, and only replenishing 30 with each win is a huge limitation. Thankfully I got it on my first try, just follow the guide, when the battle starts, step back (or jump backwards), use the rocket, use the wand, and spam weapon melee attack. If an enemy constantly dodges your weapon melee attacks by ducking (happens with Bang and S-Stacy, the superheroes) just stop and spam other attacks, don't waste your time.
