Walkthrough

Step 1: Play through the game and collect the Matuvu and Tribelle bonuses, the Green Jewels and the Teensie cages. Get 100% score on all the levels you can but don't worry if you don't, you will be coming back for that later. During this playthrough you will want to explore and find as many secret gems as you can and try and remember their location. Also try and practise getting long combos for higher scores. This becomes very important while going for the 100%s.

N.B. Make sure to write down which levels you didn't get the 100% on during this playthrough so you know which ones to focus on in Step 2.

Step 2: Now it is time to put those combo skills to the test. Using the list you created during Step 1, go back and get the 100% on all of those levels. Try to use charged up attacks for the most points and get kills and gems in long combos to maximise your scoring. Also use super-powers as you get double the points. The Lock-Jaw is especially good because of the long time you have with it. When you get the screen at the end of the section that shows your percentage and you see it is not 100% like you wanted, quickly quit to the XMB before it saves and restart the game in order to avoid having to play all sections before that one in that level again. Also if you missed any Tribelles, Matuvus or Green Gems in Step 1, you should get them here. However you should aim to collect them all in this step for the score they give.

Step 3: At this point the last thing you need to do is clean up which would involve playing all the Arcade Games. It may also include taking a picture and completing a disco-trip without failing. In which case see Junior Journalist and Disco Trip Master respectively.

You should now have a very rare PSN 100%. Congrats.

Trophy Guide

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/6B2.jpgWhere is my Andy? (B)

Complete all the chapters.

Story Related, Unmissable. Will pop after defeating the last boss and watching the final cut scene.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/58E.jpgPerfection needs no arms (G)

Complete every chapter with a perfect score.

This is the hardest trophy in the game. For this, you don't need to get all of the smiley murphy faces (though it is recommended), but you need 100% or five stars at the end of every chapter. To make sure you meet the unknown score requirements, explore every level before grabbing any gems or defeating any enemies and come up with a strategy to make the biggest combo you can get using power-ups (you get 2x points while using one!). While you are making a combo, grab the yellow gems first and keep the best stuff (like green gems) for last - but if you're using a power-up, make sure this doesn't run out before you've grabbed everything! This will allow you to score extra.

See end of guide for a chapter by chapter breakdown of how to get the highest score possible.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/3B1.jpgHero of the Teensies (B)

Save every teensie in the game.

Teensies are found in cages suspended by balloons and they look the same throughout the game except for on the level "Land Of The Livid Dead". You will get the majority of the cages as part of the story but some of them are missable. You can tell when you are near to a cage as they cry out for help. Just smash the cage with your fist attack to break the teensie free. Every six cages you collect increases the size of your health bar so finding all the cages has an added bonus.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/194.jpgPest control (S)

Find and get the bonus score of every Matuvu.

Matuvus are best described to look like blue lizards. They are usually found clinging to walls or on ceilings. To get the bonus score of a matuvu you must enter look mode by holding :triangle: and look at the matuvu until a red circle surrounds it and you get your +250 score. You can tell you located a matuvu by the whistling noise they make. There is a total of 40 Matuvus to collect.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/A79.jpgFlower power (S)

Find and get the bonus score of every Tribelle.

Tribelles resemble red flowers and glow slightly. They make a distinct shimmering noise which is easy to recognise. To get the bonus of a tribelle you have to walk up to them slowly, if you approach they will disappear and you will have to restart the level to try again. Only push the :ls: gently in the right direction to walk towards them until you get your +250 points and they fly away. There is a total of 13 tribelles to collect.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/458.jpgGreen's so in (S)

Get all the Green Jewels.

Green jewels give the highest score of all the jewels - 1500 points. Some green jewels are given to you by teensies in hidden cages, others are well hidden. These are best collected while in combo, with a superpower or both in order to gain maximum score. These jewels are very helpful for "Perfection needs no arms" and can make all the difference. There is a total of 41 to collect.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/6B0.jpgCoin-op gamer (B)

Unlock and play all the arcade games.

To unlock all the arcade games you need to have acquired 340,000 points by the end of the game. Then just load up each arcade game, start playing and then change to another game. You do not need to beat each game to get the trophy. The minigames are listed below.

[spoiler=minigames]2D Madness

Racket Jump

Crush

Razoff's Circus

Sentinel

Missle Command

Balloons

Special Invaders

Commando

Kick the barrel a couple of times to break it and this will trigger a cutscene, the trophy will pop once the cutscene is over.

Collect every superpower.

Story Related, Unmissable.

During the course of the game you will be required to use these "laser detergents" in order to gain various powers. The powers are listed below in the order you find them with a description of the abilities they give you and how long they last.

This ability is found in yellow canisters. It upgrades your helicopter ability for a short time giving you the ability to gain height and fly.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/11B.jpgPatience pays off (B)

Watch the real ending.

After defeating the last boss DO NOT SKIP THE LAST CUTSCENE. Just watch it normally and this trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/7DA.jpgJunior Journalist (B)

Take your first picture in the game.

This trophy can be earned as soon as you gain control over Rayman on the ground (after the flying intro). All you need to do is press :l2: to enter the camera mode and then press to :cross: button to take a picture of whatever you are looking at. It will ask for confirmation simply select yes, your picture will be taken and your trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1295/318.jpgDisco Trip Master (S)

Complete any disco trip without retrying.

The easiest disco trip to do this on, is the first on the level The Fairy Council. The disco trip is the last part of the level where you appear to be riding a device that resembles a rocket along a pink track. All you need to do for this trophy is do not fall off the track. You will know when you do as you will lose a point and have to be picked up by Globox's helicopter. Simply time your jumps well and do not focus on going for any of the jewels. If you do happen to fail you do not need to replay the whole Chapter, just go to the start menu and select exit game and then yes when it warns you about progress being lost. Then load up your savegame and you will be back at the beginning of the disco trip and you will be eligible for the trophy again.

Do not post incomplete guides. You should have your guide complete prior to posting it. When you're ready to complete it you can PM any member of the guide team to re-open it.

Please make sure to read through both the trophy guide and roadmap FAQs. Links are in my spoiler.

Thanks

Just would like a response from someone who has actually gotten the trophy for 100% on every level since I decided to possibly finish this up recently. If you, for instance, got 100% on 4 out of 5 sections in Hoodlum Headquarters and had to do the chapter again to get back to the part you missed out on, would you have to 100% the previous 4 parts again or can you speed through them to try the one you missed?

what i hate so much about txt guides like these is that the user gets a complicated but completely described route, but the only way for this to work efficiently is when you have the entire level printed out in your head and be able to draw a route on it at the same time while focussing on the game.

i played this game on the ps2 and PC and i'm well familiar with the levels aswell as many of the secrets but even i am constantly finding myself at dead ends wondering what the guy in the guide series is pointing me towards. treasures that arn't there, describing overworld objects wrong etc.

anyone got something better then this? if i read any more of this i'll need a guide for this guy's guide.

edit:

done some research and here's how i am doing it atm.

for the rest you just need to keep things in check like aiming for 1 hit kills on most of the enemies. getting items while being powered up and of course combos. basic stuff we all already know but it'l take some time to perform. that's where it gets hard.

managed to get the fairy counsil on 1 try with help of these pages (yay me).

You only have to 100% a level once for it to count, so yes is you have 4 out of 5 sections done 100% and the other section on lower then you can go back and get any percent on the levels you have already completed before getting the 100% you missed.

Hope this explains it.

Have you done it this way? I want to be perfectly sure... It would be extremely annoying that, after a lot of effort on a last level, without effort on the other ones which you already 100%'d before, it would not work...

Please tell me you did it this way xD

I can confirm it's true. I had another attempt a little while after I was informed of this on one of the last sections in the final area and the trophy popped.
