Shuffle
Ragnarok Odyssey is getting an updated version on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, sort of like Capcom's Monster Hunter games do with their “G” versions. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is in development for the two systems, according to this week's Famitsu magazine. The game is a refined version of Ragnarok Odyssey, and will contain all the DLC from the original game, as well as an extra episode after the ending. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is slated for release on July 11th in Japan. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Is An Upgraded Release For PlayStation 3 And Vita | Siliconera GungHo Online Entertainment and Game Arts are working on a "G" version of Ragnarok Odyssey for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace lets players develop their weapons by clearing quests and you can choose how you weapons grow. When you're hunting solo you can get a mercenary helper that’s somewhat customizable. You can choose your helper's gender. Ragnarok Odyssey Ace has new enemies like the Niohoggr, new skills, and Yggdrasil Tower which creates a dungeon for you to explore. Yggdrasil Tower has a multiplayer mode and a break floor after every five floors. GungHo Online Entertainment will also release daily quests to give players something to do everyday. The game has been fine tuned too like adding traps for hunters, powering up healing magic for clerics and speeding up spells for mages. Shuffle
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is an upgraded version of Ragnarok Odyssey from Game Arts. If you played the first game you can import character data like your: name, gender, body color, face type, hairstyle, hair color, class, and voice type. Your clothes and the color of your clothes will go back to the default for whatever class your character is. Weapon cards and monster cards will also transfer over. However, clothes cards and cards received through the near application will not transfer over. Any downloadable content you purchased for Ragnarok Odyssey can be used in Ace. GungHo Online Entertainment is bundling two bonus costumes with first print copies. You get the Kingdom Knight Leader costume for male characters and the Princess Dress for female characters. These items give you Ace Spirits skills, increase your max HP, and ups the damage for all Ace skills. http://storage.siliconera.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ragace_pre1_thumb.jpg http://storage.siliconera.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ragace_pre2_thumb.jpg http://storage.siliconera.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ragace_pre3_thumb.jpg http://storage.siliconera.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ragace_pre4_thumb.jpg Ragnarok Odyssey Ace also includes a Yggdrasil Hat and Yggdrasil Ring for use in Ragnarok Online. UndergroundHipHopHead
I was going to buy the original version though this interests me more now. I'm hoping the trophies do stack though. It looks like there has been a permanent price drop from $40 to $30 on Amazon. Gamestop still has it at $40 new. As soon as there is some news about the trophy lists, that would be nice to be updated here.
