Yukito
Many of us have our own goals and methods with trophies, how do you go about them? Do you 1- try to Platinum EVERY game you can get your hands on? 2- buy games you enjoy, and go for the platinum if available? 3- play games, and get the platinum only if it isn't out of the way? 4- buy games that are easy platinums? 5- buy games that are rumored to be tough, to show off that game's platinum if you get it? 6- play the games for another reason? Since mostly everyone on this site is obviously up for platinums, I would say the 1, 2, and 4 are most likely. I myself, am one that plays what he knows he would like, and then go for the platinum. I wouldn't bother with games I straight out don't enjoy. Many people got the RE5 platinum, but I plain out quit on it myself, because the game just wasn't fun for me. How about you all? Johnny Bananas
Yeah, I'm definitely number two. Games that look appealing or I know I'll enjoy, I play and go for the if the trophies aren't too much of a hassle to get. In the past and occasionally now, I'll buy easy but mediocre games and go for the easy plat.
AgentPlatypus
Number 2 here. I buy games I think I'd enjoy and if I enjoy it enough, I will go for the platinum.
WBA_FAN_4_LIFE
I'm also number two. Have brought easy games in the past for trophies like Lord of the Rings. That taught me a lesson, don't buy games you don't enjoy! Also do you think the font colour for option 3 should he changed? I could hardly make out what it said. Jo-tje
number two for me also. Couldn't you just make a poll out of it?
Doomy99
It's all about the enjoyment!! If I don't like a game I flat out won't bother!!
looverlynx
Enjoyment comes first, platinum comes later. that's my motto and it will stay that way. So, i'm definitely number 2 here.

Da-Hedgie
1, 5, and 7- 100% on all the games I own.
DragonDementors
3- play games, and get the platinum only if it isn't out of the way? As a couple of people have stated, enjoyment comes first. To me, obtaining Platinum trophies is only worthwhile if the game's requirements don't fall between nearly impossible and the ridiculous.

Xyratris
Number 2 for me. ^^ I will only buy games that i find interesting and i will enjoy it. If i have time, i will try for the trophies.
Cookieflux
Yeah number two for me also. Though I've only recently started going for platinums but I know I won't just start buying games that suck just for a platinum. Besides, I'm pretty sure people would be able to appreciate the effort and time it took for say, a Fallout 3 platinum, than they would for a Disney game or something. Pez
Number two for me nowadays. I've really started enjoying gaming again! Went through a phase with the 360 where I wanted as many achievements as possible which I think dented the love I had for gaming.
TKrames
Number 2 or 3. I'd much rather have an enjoyable experience than get a platinum (which is why I only have two at the moment). The games I'm currently working on platting I really enjoy Edited October 7, 2010 by TKrames
DBZ0wnz
6, I play for fun and earn trophies/platinums along the way, no matter if their very difficult or very time-consuming.

maddester
Put me down for number 2. I'm all about the game before the trophies.
Endorenna
I'm definitely a number 2 as well. Games are for fun, and even though being able to show off an extra platinum would be nice, I guess, it's just not worth the pain of repeatedly going through a game you hate. kdrcraig
2- buy games you enjoy, and go for the platinum if available? 3- play games, and get the platinum only if it isn't out of the way? Kind of a mixture of those two. I don't buy many games anymore, I get most games from Gamefly and if I like them a lot I'll go for the plat, if I don't I'll either suffer through just to beat the story or just say fuck it and send it back. Some games that I haven't really liked I've suffered through just for an easy plat.

Micheil794
Last year I was 3, but this year it's 1. I find it alot more enjoyable weirdly.
Mecha Buu
2 and ONLY 2. But unless I'm on break, I'll go for number 6. I only rent games that I want, but couldn't buy and if it's single player only since online multiplayer adds more time to do.
