It just started happening yesterday when i was playing and it signs me out while om online. it did it today and yesterday. Why is this happening? It says a problem has occurred. There's nothing wrong with my Internet so it's not that.

I've been having the same problem too. I know it's not my internet and I have my PS3 wired. It signed me out for whatever reason earlier today (I forgot to write down the error code). I just kept trying to sign back in until it let me sign back in. I never see anything on Sony's site about maintenance...hrmmmm:confused:

An error has occurred. You have been signed out of the PlayStation®Network.

It's been happening to me few hours ago. I reset the router twice and it's still giving me that error. I'm going to do again for the third time to see if it let me in.

Yeah I'm getting the same error code...it's a new one as it's not listed in the error code thread.

It seems to be Sony's side with the error as so many of us got it. Yet the error code it shows states different;

Error Code: 8071053D

Says way to resolve:

contact your ISP and get them to open the following ports

~ SCEA Game Servers

TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080

UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070

~ PlayStation®Network

TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223

UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658

Which is total b*llsh*t as I got PS3 ports done and in DMZ to be save.
