Roadmap

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 4
  • Offline trophies: 49 (39(B), 6(S), 3(G), 1(P))
  • Online trophies: None
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 15 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: N/A
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: N/A

Introduction:

This crossover game of three successful franchises has pretty straight forward trophies. The game itself consists of simple mini games. The following roadmap has tips on how to get the trophies easily.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete Single Player

  • Play through each single player challenge. Try to get a gold medal from each challenge. If you are having trouble with some challenges, try to get at least bronze and come back later for gold.
  • Try to pick up as many collectibles as you can. You will most likely miss some but you can always come back after beating the game.
  • Try to use your weapons and ultimate abilities effectively to get some of the skill-related trophies.

Step 2: Single Player Clean-up

  • If you don't have all gold medals and/or collectibles, now is the time to replay the challenges and get everything.
  • Also, you want to get all skill related trophies to get them out of the way. Make sure you go for the ultimate ability and kill trophies here too.
  • You should now have every single player related trophy except the diamond challenge ones.

Step 3: Complete Diamond Challenges

  • Here you should complete every Diamond Challenge and try to get gold on each one. Also, go for getting gold on a Diamond Challenge without using ultimate abilities.
  • You can choose to do this before the long grinding trophies, if you feel like you didn't get that many kills in your first playthrough.
  • If you want, you can skip this part and do the Diamond Challenges in Team Play. They are easier with two players.

Step 4: Complete Team Play

  • You need a second Move controller and an offline partner here. Get any medal on ten Team Play challenges while going for the other Team Play trophies.
  • After doing the ten challenges, you should go for the rest of the Team Play trophies with your partner.

By the end of this part, you should have your platinum.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/07.jpg Fire In The Hole (B)

Destroy 8 Enemies With One Grenade From The Bouncer

The best challenge to get this trophy is Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris. Wave 2 will spawn a lot of Pinbots at you. Circle around them to group at least eight of them together and fire one grenade in the middle and you should have your trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/08.jpg Lock N Load (B)

Destroy 5 Enemies With One Red Morphgun Blast

This trophy can be quite tricky because there aren't that many shotgun challenges that spawn five or more enemies at you. I got this trophy in A Mine of Their Own challenge in The Estate, Paris. After taking the first Whibblet to Mama Whibble, go inside the large house. Ignore the enemies that spawn and run to the last room to pick up the Whibblet. Head back to the big room (if enemies block your way just shoot one out of the way) and multiple enemies should spawn. Group them together by running circles around them and land one perfectly aimed shot from the shotgun in the middle which should kill at least five of them.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/09.jpg Simma Down (B)

Complete A Haven City Or Paris Challenge Without Overheating The Combuster

You can do this on any challenge on Haven City or Paris that has the Combuster. Keep an eye on the meter that shows how close your gun is to overheat and make sure you fire short bursts instead of just holding the :trigger: button. By the end of the challenge, you should have this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/10.jpg Line Em Up (B)

Destroy 3 Enemies With A Single Melee Attack

This is actually easier than in may sound. Start any melee challenge and get three enemies grouped together. Hold the :trigger: button and swing your Move controller to right or left. This should kill all three.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/12.jpg Strike (B)

Destroy 10 Pinbots With One Ball Detonation

The only challenge where you can get this is Pinbot Apocalypse in Canals, Paris. When the pinbots spawn, guide your ball near them. Make sure you don't hit any Pinbots with your ball and press the Move button to explode the ball. The explosion should destroy all ten pinbots.

See Make It Look Easy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/14.jpg Cool Whip (B)

Destroy 8 Enemies With One Whip Attack

This trophy can be quite hard to get. I got it in Lash Gasp in Gleebertopia. After you complete Wave 1, you'll be teleported to an island where Wave 2 starts. Exactly eight pirates should come at you from behind the boxes that explode. Run around them in circles to group all of them together. Then throw Groovitron in the middle to make them all dance. Charge the whip by holding the motion controller above you and land a powerful slam in the middle of the dancing pirates. This should kill them all.

Another good spot to get this is during 40 Lash Gasps!, the Diamond Challenge in Gleebertopia. This is best done at the beginning of the 3rd Wave in this survival challenge, when you are completely surrounded by 10+ enemies. Just run around them in a circle to get them rounded up and do the whip smash technique to kill most of them. The whip smash is the one where you hold the Move back behind you to power up the meter in the lower left until it's full, then swing the Move controller directly forward in front of you.

Make sure to come back and explore all levels for hidden collectibles after beating the game. The collectibles can be hidden in a secret area you need to go to or they can for example, be floating in mid air far away, and you have to shoot it to get it. If you are having trouble finding them, check the thread below for all locations.

Hidden Collectible Locations

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/24.jpg Crystal Clear (B)

Get A 30x Crystal Combo In Team Play

This trophy can be a little confusing because the Crystal Combo is not explained in the game anywhere, but basically the 2nd Player needs to collect a lot of crystals on the ground within a very short time (1-2 seconds). The Crystal Combo meter is in the lower right of the screen when you are playing in Team Play.

To make this much easier, I highly recommend going for this trophy at the beginning of Whipped Crème’ Brulee’, the Diamond Challenge in Paris. You'll need to walk up the hill at the beginning, kill a few enemies along the way, and then a forcefield will close behind you. Make sure Player 1 is facing the large amount of boxes on the little piece of land, then have Player 2 bump your PS Move Controller with theirs to do a Team Strike. The Team Strike will explode all the boxes in front of you (and kill all the enemies) as long as you're in the right spot. Just make sure to stay back enough with Player 1 so the diamonds don’t gravitate to him, and just let Player 2 collect all the diamonds quickly. I got a 40x Crystal Combo here fairly easy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/25.jpg 25 Is Alright (B)

Get A 25x Multiplier

See 50 Is Nifty.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/26.jpg 50 Is Nifty (S)

Get A 50x Multiplier

Do this in Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris. Make sure you shoot every multiplier you see. In Wave 1 there are launch pads you can use to launch your grenade far and destroy buildings which drop multipliers. In Wave 3, shoot the Boar and not the crystals so the rocket won't fill. Every time before a new boar spawns, the crates will move and a multiplier will appear behind them. Make sure to shoot it. This way you should get x50.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/27.jpg Day Care (B)

Return Every Whibblet Simultaneously In A Single Rescue Challenge

I believe Neighbourhood Watch/Play Hard, Eat Fresh in Neighbourhood, Paris is the best challenge to get this one. Make sure you know where all Whibblets are and go for them without stopping to fight enemies. You should make it with plenty of time.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/28.jpg Make It Look Easy (B)

Save All Whibbles With One Disc In A Haven City Or Paris Jailbreak Challenge

You will get this when going for the gold medal in the Haven City Diamond Challenge Breakin' 2: Whibble Boogaloo because it only lets you to use one disc. If you are having trouble with this one, you can try it with any of the normal Haven City or Paris Jailbreak challenges.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/29.jpg Can't Touch This (B)

Take No Damage In A Single Haven City Or Paris Survival Challenge

For this, you can't take any damage from the enemies. Taking damage and healing with health crystals won't work. I found that the easiest challenge to do this is Whipped Crème in Old Quarter, Paris because it lets you to use whip, while the other challenge, Rumble in the Ramshackles in Shanty Town, Haven City only lets you to use melee.

Before attempting the trophy, you should learn the best whip technique. It is to swing the motion controller forward, then quickly backward. Also, make sure you use the :move: button to block any enemy attacks.

For Wave 1, stay back and let the enemies come at you, Use the whipping technique explained above to take them out. You should be left with two shooting enemies. Take the jump pad at them and hold :move: to block. As soon as their shoots hit your shield, whip the exploding crates behind them, taking them out.

For Wave 2 there are two strategies. First is to go to the battle normally. This way you can take out the shooting robots easily by camping where they spawn, but other melee robots may hurt you if you come too close. The second strategy is to stay at the island and not take the jump pad to the battle. The wave will start normally and the enemies will rush at you, but can't reach you. Use the whip to take them out from distance. However, you can't take out the shooting robots this way. You need to dodge or block their shots. When there's only shooters left, jump at the battle and take them out. Then deal with the last spawning melee robots.

For Wave 3, you can either stay back and take out the melee robots first or rush and take out the Boar Bodyguard shooting at you. I'd recommend staying back, charging your whip and taking out the robots with one big blast while dodging and blocking the boar's projectiles. When the birds with jet packs come, use shield to block their shots and take them out with the whip technique of swinging forth and back. Then if you haven't already, deal with the boar. Don't go too close or he might melee you. Two forth and back whip hits should take him down and end the challenge.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/30.jpg Seen It All (B)

Use Every Ultimate Ability In The Game At Least Once

You should get this during your first playthrough of the challenges. If not, just start any challenge and get enough crystals and press :l1: to use the ultimate abilities you have missed.

Destroy 200 Total Enemies With Dark Daxter's Whirlwind Attack

You might get these trophies during your first playthrough. If not, you can start any challenge with many enemies, like Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris and use the ultimate ability on Pinbots there for fast progress.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/36.jpg Sneak Attack (B)

Destroy 200 Total Enemies During Sly's Thief Time

You might get these trophies during your first playthrough. If not, you can start any challenge with many enemies, like Pinbot Apocalypse in Canals, Paris and use the ultimate ability on Pinbots there for fast progress.

Another good challenge to farm kills is Serious Smackdown Diamond Challenge in Metropolis. There are tons of enemies in this level within a very short period of time. There are plenty of crystals to power up your special attacks quickly, and the enemies tend to storm you in groups so you can get a lot of kills quickly.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/37.jpg All Falls Down (S)

Destroy 20 Enemies During One Ultimate Ability Activation

You can get this in Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris. In Wave 2, use Daxter's Whirlwind attack to destroy the Pinbots. You should easily get 20.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/38.jpg Agorian Dishonor (B)

Destroy 40 Total Agorian Bombers

You will most likely not get this during your first playthrough. The best way to get this is to start the final Gleebertobia Diamond Challenge, The Final Shutdown with Daxter. Protect at least one whibble cage so the challenge won't end early and shoot and collect all crystals laying around to get your ultimate ability ready. The game will spawn a ridiculous amount of Agorians when the timer has around 30 seconds left. Make sure you are on the upper island and use your whirlwind attack. Take out all Agorians and camp the wormholes where they spawn for more kills. You should get around 10-20 kills. Then just finish the challenge and repeat until the trophy pops up.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/39.jpg Pork Chops (B)

Destroy 100 Total Boar Bodyguards

These enemies are pretty common. You will most likely get it when replaying the challenges for gold medals and collectibles. If not, start a challenge like Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris. In Wave 3, the game will spawn a lot of Boars at you, one at a time. Don't shoot the crystals, only the Boars and Pinbots so the rocket won't fill and yous should get many Boar kills before the challenge ends. Then just repeat.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/40.jpg Landfill (B)

Destroy 2500 Total Enemies

See Space Junk.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/41.jpg Space Junk (S)

Destroy 5000 Total Enemies

You might get this when redoing the challenges for medals and collectibles. If not, do challenge Show No Merci in Downtown, Paris. It has many Pinbots making it easy for you to boost the kills.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/42.jpg Party People (B)

Earn 10 Medals Of Any Kind In Team Play

Simply complete any ten different challenges in Team Play finishing with a Bronze, Silver, or Gold and you will get this trophy. Please keep in mind that you cannot play the same challenge ten times, it has to be ten different levels as a team.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/43.jpg Team Trauma (B)

Destroy Any Combination Of 12 Enemies Or Objects With One Team Strike

The Team Strike is performed by having Player 2 bump Player 1's motion controller's sphere with theirs. Simply find a place with 12 or more enemies or objects (crates, etc.) together and use your Team Strike to destroy them.

I recommend going for this trophy at the same time/place you go for Crystal Clear, at the beginning of Whipped Crème’ Brulee’, the Diamond Challenge in Paris. You'll need to walk up the hill at the beginning, kill a few enemies along the way, and then a forcefield will close behind you. Make sure Player 1 is facing the large amount of boxes on the little piece of land, then have the players bump their controllers to do a Team Strike. The Team Strike will explode all the boxes in front of you and kill all the enemies, just as long as you're in the right spot.

Another good spot to get this is during 40 Lash Gasps!, the Diamond Challenge in Gleebertopia. This is best done at the beginning of the 3rd Wave in this survival challenge, when you are completely surrounded by enemies and there are a few boxes around.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/44.jpg Medic! (B)

Give A Teammate 20 Health Ups In One Challenge In Team Play

This trophy is actually much easier than it sounds, since the 2nd Player actually has the option to use the crystals they collect as health power-ups instead of ammo (on non-timed challenges). I recommend going for this on the Metropolis Diamond Challenge, Serious Smackage. Collect several crystals with Player 2, then switch to the Health Up option by pressing :circle: and spam them at Player 1 with the :trigger: button 20 times during the challenge.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/45.jpg Spending Time With Friends (B)

Give A Teammate 10 Total Time Extends In One Challenge In Team Play

This trophy is actually much easier than it sounds, since the 2nd Player actually has the option to use the crystals they collect as time extends instead of ammo (but only on timed challenges). I recommend going for this on the Paris Diamond Challenge, Marksman Manor Mayhem. Collect several crystals with Player 2, then switch to the Time Extend option by pressing :circle: and spam them at Player 1 with the :trigger: button 10 times throughout the challenge.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/46.jpg Target Practice (B)

Hit Your Teammate 100 Times In One Challenge With Crystals In Team Play

To do this, Player 2 just has to collect crystals and shoot them at his partner. Simply collect crystals, press :cross: to make sure you are on the crystal option, then spam :trigger: at Player 1. Make sure you shoot every crystal you get at him, since 100 crystals is quite a bit.

A good spot to get this is during Show No Merci Beaucoup, the Diamond Challenge in Gleebertopia. There are many diamonds scattered throughout this level and it is long enough to exceed well over 100 diamonds that you can shoot at your partner.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/47.jpg Ultimate Hero (B)

Trigger Your Ultimate Ability 3 Times Within One Challenge

This is simple. You can do this in almost every challenge. Make sure to pick up every crystal you see and use your ultimate ability every time you have it ready.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/48.jpg Diamonds Are Forever (G)

Earn Gold Medals On All Diamond Challenges

This can be quite tough. Practice these challenges a lot and memorize the good spots to kill plenty of enemies.

  • For challenges that require you to use the disc (and for the Make It Look Easy trophy), I highly recommend using Clank. If you power up your special attack with the disc, you can actually deploy your Zoni's by pressing :l1: while in flight, to help shoot the various pods that you need to destroy to beat the challenges. I used this technique in all of the Diamond Challenges that required you to collect everything with one disc and it made these challenges much easier.
  • For The Final Shutdown Challenge in Gleebertopia, I actually used Bentley's Auto-Hack Ability to pass this level much easier. You should be able to power it up at least twice during this challenge. The first time just use it right away when you get it and the second time, save it for the Agorians that come out at 30 seconds. The nice thing about his ability is that every enemy in the level will stop attacking the pods and you, and attack each other. It buys you a solid 15 seconds of time every time you use it and it affects the entire level of enemies.
  • I also recommend getting a 2nd Player to help you with all the Diamond Challenges, as they are all much easier to complete with help. Many challenges allow the 2nd player to shoot you with Health power-ups and others allow you to add additional time, which can make the Gold medals much easier to obtain in most cases.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/609/49.jpg Nothing Up My Sleeve (G)

Get A Gold Medal On A Diamond Challenge Without Using An Ultimate Ability

I got this in the first Diamond disc challenge in Metropolis. It is pretty simple and doesn't really require ultimate abilities. If you are having trouble, you can do any of the earlier easy Diamond Challenges on Metropolis.

Hit Your Teammate 100 Times In One Challenge With Crystals In Team Play

This is done by touching your friends motion controller's sphere. Make sure you give every crystal you get to him.

This is wrong. Player 2 needs to gather crystals and shoot them and his on screen partner. You don't touch controller's.

What trophy requires 2 move controllers?

All the trophies that mention "Team Play" in the description require 2 Move controllers. There are six of them in total:

  • Crystal Clear
  • Party People
  • Team Trauma
  • Medic!
  • Spending Time With Friends
  • Target Practice

You don't need to spam circle for medic. When the heart enlarges you know it's available to use. Use the survival waves for Medic trophy and saving Whibblets for the time extend trophy.

You may want to organize the trophies in the guide for game type. Group all the Coop ones together. The guide team usually asks me to do that on my guides.

Do you need two players then? or can I get the trophies myself with two moves?

They can be done solo with two controllers, it's just easier with 2 players.

Cheers, is it much harder doing it by yourself? there is only me and my gf and she is usless at games.

The Team Play trophies are very difficult to do by yourself. Since many levels require you to use the Navigation Controller or the DS3 to move around, you'd have to have 3 hands... Or you could try to get the trophies on the challenges that don't require much movement on the Nav or DS3 (i.e. the ones with the disc, ball, etc.). But trust me, it'll take a hell of a lot longer to do it this way, rather than just get a partner.

My girlfriend helped me get all of these. The 2nd Player controls are very simple to learn. You just point the Move controller at the screen and press the :trigger:. A 5 year old could probably do it...

For Crystal Clear, you technically can't get a 40x combo. It resets once you reach 30x and starts over.

Hmm... I did. Maybe you didn't end up getting anything over 30x and it just happened to reset on you? That meter resets really fast.

You don't need to spam circle for medic. When the heart enlarges you know it's available to use. Use the survival waves for Medic trophy and saving Whibblets for the time extend trophy.

You can spam :trigger:, not :circle:. And you technically don't have to spam it, but you can get it done in 20 seconds if you do it that way. Just have the 1st player run around like a mad man running into enemies, while the second player collects diamonds and just keeps spamming player one with health power-ups. Yes, I suggested Serious Smackage (a survival challenge) for Medic and Marksman Manor Mayhem (a saving Whibblets challenge) for Spending Time With Friends (timer trophy). They are both included in the guide.

You may want to organize the trophies in the guide for game type. Group all the Coop ones together. The guide team usually asks me to do that on my guides.

All of my guides are structured that way too and suggested this to SandeProElite as well. Thanks for the feedback, Wozamil!!

I'm having trouble doing cool whip, I'm on the diamond challenge and the wave 3 start with 18 enemies, when i finish my attack I got 9 up, but the trophie doesn't pump :S

btw

for the 200 can we after a challenge restart and start again? does it count? if yes, the best place for (ratchet, jak and sly) is the same as the cool whip in the diamond challenge we can use it 2/3 times with lot of mobs and it's much faster then the other way

Best advice I can give for Cool Whip is to keep trying. I recommend just circling them until they are bunched up really tight and then hit then with the whip slam (where you hold the Move controller behind you until it powers up the meter in the lower left, then swing it forward).

For the 200, just make sure you finish the level and the game saves before restarting. If you restart before finishing the level first, it may not save the kills/hacks/etc.
