Introduction

Welcome to pinballistik! It's a fun 3D pinball game that's available on the PS Store for a cheap price of £3.19 (as of the date of this post). The game itself is fun (if you like pinball) and the trophies are pretty time consuming, considering how small the game is. If you just buy the main game you'll only get one table so I recommend getting the DLC to make it a bit more enjoyable. Have fun and good luck on getting 100%!

Helpful tips & Controls

:r1: Flick Right Bumper

:l1: Flick Left Bumper

:left: Nudge Table Left

:right: Nudge Table Right

 Nudge Table Up

 Nudge Table Down

:select: Change View

:start: Pause

:square: Use Power Up

:triangle: Use Power Up

:cross: Launch Ball

Those are the only controls in the game, simple. Now as you know, pinball is an arcade game in which you bump around a ball using bumpers, knock the ball into things to score points. The main thing you will want to learn and master is the timing of hitting the pinball, this is crucial in this game and there's many tricky spots where you need to knock the ball. The next thing that's important is nudging. Nudging is when you knock the pinball table so the ball moves a certain way, be careful though as you can tilt the table and it will freeze up if you do it too much (The game itself won't freeze, just the flippers will freeze and become inactive for a short while. When it starts beeping and says "warning", stop nudging the table). That's all you really need to know, there's not much else to pinball.

Roadmap

Step 1: Classic Mode

Go straight to Classic Mode and get all the trophies that are associated with it first. This will get you used to the game and you'll be able to learn the table and practice. Nearly all the trophies can be obtained through Classic Mode, I advise you to do this as Battle Mode is annoying and not the best option. At the end of this step you will have all the trophies that are to do with Classic Mode.

Step 2: Battle Mode

Battle Mode is a 2 player game in which you play either another controller or the A.I The aim is to get a certain amount of points before your opponent does or to get a higher score than them when the timer is up. Most of the trophies here aren't easy and the one that is going to take a while is "Potato Salad" as there are hardly any hot potato power ups and even then you still have to get it on your opponents side. Play against the A.I on Easy for most of the trophies but for the thief trophy and super ball one, put the A.I difficulty on Hard. At the end of this step you should have all but the glitched trophy.

Step 3: Clean up

Missed out on a trophy? Then now's the time to come back to it and finish it off. You should now have all but the glitched trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/01.jpgGrand Ballarceny (B)

Steal four balls with one use of Ball Thief.

This very hard without the "Made of Money" DLC. During Battle Mode you will sometimes see a Thief power up, collect it, then save it, don't use it right now. As soon as your opponent has 4 balls on there side, use your Ball Thief power up and you will steal all of them. Play with the A.I on Hard as they will be able to keep the pinballs for longer. Also change the view using :select: as it makes it easier to see how many pinballs your opponent has. As soon as you see 4 of your opponents balls, use the Thief power up. This trophy is very easy if you have the "Made of Money" DLC. Once your opponent activates the Multi-Ball button they will gain 6 pinballs. The Multi-Ball button is activated on the left hand side of the Battle Table, press the Thief power up as soon as they do this and you'll get the trophy, easy. Make sure you have the "Thief power up" in your reserve slots at all times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/02.jpgPotato Salad (S)

Get a Hot Potato past your opponent 30 times during your career.

During Battle Mode, you will sometimes see these power ups on the board that have a flame in the middle of them. Hit a pinball into this power up and the ball will turn into what the game calls a "Hot Potato". It looks like a normal pinball but has a glow trailing behind it and if it falls down an opponents gutter, then it takes double the amount of score from them. Now, once you have the potato you will want to knock it over to the A.Is' side. There are a few ways of getting it over there, it's easier if you choose the left side table when you start the game as you have the middle entrance to get it to your opponent and the saloon part at the top. Once you get it over there, your opponent needs to miss and and have it fall down their gutter, watch to see if it goes down and it will say "Stole "x" amount of points". It's easier to keep doing this with the A.I set to Easy, as on Hard they always hit pinballs. You will get this if you just go for the other trophies as well.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/03.jpgFull Arsenal (B)

Have each of the slotted power ups at once. (Ball Thief, Super Power, Power Flippers)

These power ups are only available in Battle Mode. During Battle Mode you will notice power ups that appear in random places on the board. Hit the pinball into one of these power ups to add it to your slots. You can see which power ups you have by looking at the top right of the screen. The Thief one looks like a ninja mask, the Super power One is swirls and the Super Bumper is a picture of a Bumper. You can only store 3 power Ups at any time so make sure you only get ONE of each. If you happen to pick up two the same, then just get rid of it by pressing :square: or :triangle:. Once you pick up the 3rd power up the trophy will unlock. Remember not to use them, you have to have each one in your slots.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/04.jpgConservationist (B)

In a score battle game, win while losing less than five balls.

An easy trophy, set up a Score Battle game so it's in Time Mode and 1 Minute long. Once you've done that, start the game, then just play for a minute. You aren't going to lose 5 pinballs even if you try to. Trophy will pop at the end of the game. You may just get this by playing the game though so don't worry to much about it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/05.jpgArcade Rat (S)

Play 30 games of pinball.

You will get this over time as you try and get the other trophies. Any game settings and game modes count towards the 30. If you want though you can just set up a classic game and put the settings to "1 Ball", then just let the ball fall down the hole and the game will end. Press :cross: to restart on the Score Screen then do the same thing again. It doesn't matter if you win or lose a game, as long as you've played a game all the way through the trophy will unlock.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/06.jpgAll Powered Up (B)

Use Super Power on at least four balls at once.

This trophy can only be obatined in Battle Mode. This can be quite hard as you need to get 4 balls on your side and then use the 'super power' power up so they all turn into super balls. The best advice I can give you is to make sure that you keep an eye on all the balls on your side and not let any fall down. As I said, this is hard to do so it will take a lot of practice. The A.Is pinballs count aswell so try amd keep them on your side instead of flicking them back. This trophy is very easy if you have the "Made of Money" DLC. Once you activate the Multi-Ball button you will gain 6 pinballs. To activate the Multi-Ball button you have to get your pinball in the kicker under the glasses on the left hand side of the left hand side table. Once you get it in there you need to get it in the kicker at the very top, 6 new pinballs will then fall down. Press the "Super power" power Up as soon as the pinballs appear and you will get the trophy. Make sure you have the "super power" power up in your reserve slots at all times.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/07.jpgMillionaire's Club (S)

Reach a score of 5,000,000 on a table in a 10 minute game.

I got this in the first game I played. Set up a Classic Game, set it to "Time Mode" and then 10mins. Its easy to get to 5mil if you keep the Super Power Balls for as long as you can, get your multipliers up to and you'll have this in no time. If you want you can do it in the Ball Mode and set it to 10 balls, that's if your confident enough you can get 5mil with 10 balls.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/08.jpgTrigger Happy (B)

Activate the gun three times in one game.

The gun is the thing on the right hand side of the table, I advise you do this in a Classic Game as the gun is really hard to activate in Battle Mode. To activate the gun you need to get 6 pinballs into the gun. The easiest way to get pinballs into the gun is go along the Queen spinner card track or Ace spinner card track twice (Once to open the guns' entrance and another to get into the gun). Rinse and repeat until 6 pinballs are in the gun. Once there's 6 in there the camera angle will change and you have to spam :cross: to get all the pinballs out onto the table, now your playing with 6 pinballs. Do this 3 times in ONE game and you'll get the trophy. You can only really get this in the 10 Ball Mode as there's no way you will get 18 balls in the gun in a 10 min game (unless you're a pinball pro).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/09.jpgSaloon Hopper (B)

Get into the saloon four times in five minutes in one game.

GLITCHED: This trophy is glitched and cannot be obtained at all, Creat Studios have been aware of this sometime but haven't released a patch yet.

Set up a 5min game in Classic Mode. The way to get this trophy though is to go in the saloon 4 times in 5mins. The saloon is the area at the top of the table and is where you have to knock down the targets and also where you get a Royal Flush. You have to be quick about it as it's not that easy getting into the saloon. Try and hit the pinball with the bottom left flipper (in about the middle of the flipper) to get it up the Ace card track which takes you to the saloon. As soon as you enter the saloon for the 4th time the trophy will unlock. This is the saloon:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/10.jpgBlack Jack of all Trades (B)

Light up the 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace in order on the Circle the Wagons classic table.

Probably the hardest trophy on this pinball table. I got it without even trying to get it and I don't know how the heck I managed it. You have to hit the 5 cards in the correct order without touching any other card! You have to go through the 10 card first, then the Jack card, then the Queen card, then the King card and then finally the Ace card. You can't go through the same one more than once (Say I went up the Ace cards ramp but rolled back again and went through it again). This is going to take a heck of a lot of practice and perfection if you actually try and get it. Here's the way you should go about getting it, credit to Shogun00:

Just a little side note, the right kick back will automatically hit the Ace spinner.

Here's the best strategy that I came up with. I just need to perfect the shots.

1.) Set the game to 3 or more balls or to 5/10 minutes.

2.) On the first ball hit the Queen or Ace ramp, so you can divert the next ramp shot to the launcher.

3.) Let the ball drain. This will reset the card lights.

4.) On the next ball, launch it hard enough to hit the first gate but not the second gate. This will make the ball exit right into the upper left flipper. Hold both Flipper Buttons down, while doing this. This usually makes the ball roll right off the upper Left Flipper and right into the Lower Right Flipper (capturing it).

5.) Use the Right Flipper and hit the 10 spinner. This should make the ball loop and hit the Jack spinner in the process.

6.) Now hit the Queen spinner/ramp. This will take the ball back to the launcher.

7.) Launch the ball hard enough to hit the "Can of Beans" hole.

8.) Now, hold the Left Flipper up. Once the ball ejects from the hole, it will hit the King spinner and go straight into the right kick back. The kick back will automatically hit the Ace spinner.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/11.jpgSharp Shooter (B)

Hit the skill shot on the Circle the Wagons classic table.

This can only be obtained on the classic table game mode. The skill shot on this table is the barrel on the on the right hand side of the table about half way up. You need to get the pinball in the gap just below the Buffalo Area. Once it's in there you will get a mystery bonus and the trophy will pop. The best way to get in there is to use the Left Bottom Flipper and hit the pinball when its about 3/4 down the flipper.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/12.jpgTamed the West (S)

Complete all of the features on the Circle the Wagons classic table and both sides of the battle table.

This trophy requires you to complete the circle in the middle of the table on a Classic game, there's a lot of tasks to do and I advise doing this with 10 Ball settings instead of time as there's no way you will have enough time to do everything in 10mins. Here is a list of the things you need to do:

  • The Shootout (Two Crossed Guns) - This is in the saloon, you have to knock all the targets without the ball falling back to the table, upon knocking the targets the two crossed guns on the circle will light up.
  • Revolver (The Single Gun) - To get ammo in the Revolver you need to get pinballs in the ammo case. There's 3 ways to do this, 1. Going up the Ace Card Spinner twice (once to open the track, another to get into the gun). 2. Going up the Queen Card Spinner twice (once to open the track, another to get into the gun), 3. Going directly into it by holding down :l1: to lift the high bumper on the left hand side and then hitting the pinball with the right flipper so the pinball goes underneath the flipper. Once 6 pinballs are in the gun it will prompt you to fire them with :cross:, then you will have the single gun light up on the circle.
  • Royal flush (Spade) - You have to get a Royal Flush with the Spinner Cards that are on the table first, each one will flash and you have to hit each one that is flashing. Once you've hit them in the correct order you will notice that the spade on the circle is flashing (Don't lose your pinball or it will reset). Now you will want to get the pinball up to the saloon and get it in the circle hole at the top in the saloon, it will say "Royal Flush" and the Spade will be lit up in the circle.
  • Stampede (Buffalo) - This is the hardest one I think, it's so hard to line up shots and you have to do so many shots it's ridiculous. You will notice just below the saloon there's a sort of stable house. You can get in here by going through the big door with lights leading to it. Every time you enter this stable letters will spell out coming from the entrance and it will eventually say S.T.A.M.P.E.D.E, now a herd of Buffalo will be circling the table, hit them all in the time limit and it will light up the Buffalo on the circle.
  • Sandstorm (Lightning Bolt) - Probably the easiest one, you have to hit the three lightning clouds directly above the pinball gutter. Once you hit all three a sandstorm will appear and the lightning strike will be lit up on the circle.
  • Circle the wagons (Wagons) - This will automatically appear once you have done all the above in a single classic game. A wagon will appear in the middle of the table, all you need to do is knock all the bandits with the pinball a few times and then the final two parts on the circle will fill in (wagons). Congrats! Now you just got one more to do for the trophy.

Now you've done all those you need to do the one on the right hand side of the battle table to unlock the trophy. Start a battle game and put whatever settings you want. Now for the final part:

  • Gold Rush (Dollar Sign) - At the top of the right hand side of the battle table you will notice a sort of gold mine. You have to knock all the gold circles and then it will say "Jackpot" and the $ will fill on the circle.

The trophy will pop shortly afterwards if you've done everything. Remember, the muliplier and skill shot also count and are required for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/13.jpgEverybody Knows Your Name (B)

Get the ball into the Saloon on the Circle the Wagons battle table for the first time.

This is referring to the Saloon at the very top of the table (In the middle of the Battle Table). Pick the left hand side of the table as it's easier to get in here from there. Now once you've started the game just smack the pinball up the ramp and it will go in the saloon, pretty easy. The trophy will pop shortly after entering the saloon and you can only do this in Battle Mode. The trophy won't pop if you do it in the Classic Game Mode, so make sure you do this in Battle Mode.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1233/14.jpgAces High (B)

Hit the Ace of Spades spinner eleven times in five minutes.

You need to select a classic game, put in it time mode and set the time to 5mins. The Ace of Spades spinner is the one which leads up to the saloon, you just need to hit the ace of spades spinner 11 times in the 5min game. The trophy will pop upon going through it the 11th time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1233/15.jpgThe Musical Fruit (B)

Get the ball into the can of beans kicker three times in a three minute game on either the battle or classic table.

Remember to set it to a 3min timer mode in the settings when starting a game. Get this trophy in classic table mode as it's a lot easier. The can of beans kicker is the can right at the top of the launch pad where the pinballs get launched. You need to get in this can 3 times in a 3min game. It's actually very easy and all you have to do is launch the ball up and then spam the tilt button towards the can, once it's in there it will make some noises and you'll be blasted out. Now let the pinball fall down the hole so you restart at the ball launch. Rinse and repeat.

Saloon Hopper (B)

Get into the saloon four times in five minutes in one game.

GLITCHED: This trophy is glitched and it cannot be obatined at all, creat studios have been aware of this sometime but haven't released a patch yet.

The way to get this trophy though is to go in the saloon 4 times in 5mins. The saloon is the area at the top of the table and is where you have to knock down the targets and also where you get a royal flush. You have to be quick about it as its not that easy getting into the saloon. Try and hit the pinball with the bottom left bumper (in about the middle of the bumper) to get it up the ace card track which takes you to the saloon.

This is how you will get the Saloon Hopper once the patch is released. I confirmed this with Creat, while trying to figure out why this trophy wouldn't ping.

1.) Set the game to five minutes either on the Classic table or Battle table. Note: Classic table is easier.

2.) Enter the Saloon four time within that game.

Trigger Happy (B)

Activate the gun three times in one game.

The gun is the thing on the right hand side of the table, this can only be used in a classic game as the gun isn't available in battle mode.

It's available in Battle Mode, but it's much more harder to activate.

Aces High (B)

Hit the Ace of Spades spinner eleven times in five minutes.

GLITCHED: This trophy is glitched and it cannot be obatined at all, creat studios have been aware of this sometime but haven't released a patch yet.

This trophy is obtainable and I have it.

1.) Select the Classic table and set the game to 5 minutes.

2.) Hit the spinner 11 times within the five minute game.

Note: It's has to be clear shots and not light taps. In other words, the ball has to clear through the spinner or it won't count.

Going directly into it by holding down :l1: to lift the high bumper on the left hand side and then hitting the pinball with the right bumper so the pinball goes underneath the the bumper. Once 6 pinballs are in the gun it will prompt you to fire them with :cross: and then you will have the single gun light up on the circle.

Your pinball terminology is a little confusing. You have bumpers and flippers criss-crossed.

This is a flipper:

And this is a bumper:

I need to changer them all to flippers I was writing this late last night amd I was getting confused :o, will fix that now. I got it through the Ace about 20 times in a 5min game and it refused to pop.

Also you should have really used the 'edit' button instead of posting 4 times :p

EDIT: Fixed all the bumper/flipper errors and removed the glitch notice on aces high. All is good now :)

Harry, are you sure that for the "Black Jack of all trades", you are allowed to go through the same spinner twice in a row (like up and down the King's ramp)? I've been trying for this trophy for a while now, and it never popped after doing that :(.

Either it's not allowed, or I have to do it without the power-ups, like Shogun suggested.

I dont know, but I know I had powerups on.

Mine just popped without even trying to get it, but if its not working for you then you might not be able to go through the same spinner twice. Theres zero info on this game on the whole inernet so I cant confirm or deny anything :(

Saloon hopper is still glitched, nobody in the world has it. Looks like you'll never be able to get 100% :(

It looks like Creat Studios is brushing it under the rug. I contacted them a few times for an update on the patch and they pretty much are staying silent. This just tells me that this game really bombed in sales.

I guess they think "It's only a trophy". But what about us trophy hunters! :pout:

I'm beginning to wonder if Creat Studios is still alive? I haven't seen any update from them in over 6 months.

Their facebook page (main one, not pinballistik page) seems to be getting recent updates...

It's too bad they aren't fixing this glitch. I am holding off on the purchase until if/when it's fixed

Unfortunately, I can't unpurchase the game, but I can and will avoid purchasing games from them in the future!

I'm with both of you on these points! I can't stand it when devs abandon blatant glitches in their games.

It looks like they didn't abandon the game. They just posted a tease on their Facebook page and they replied back to my comment.

It looks like they are making another table, which means the game will also be getting a patch.
