Introduction

Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection is a collection of classic pinball games recreated for the PS3. They range from older styles and basic in design to the modern types you see in most arcades today. Each table has its own theme or unique quality to them, making every play a different experience. To add to the playability and challenge of each table, the game adds pre-loaded high scores & table goals for you to try to beat and to also test your skills. This is a great retro look back at some of the greatest pinball classics of all-time. In all, Pinball Hall Of Fame: The Williams Collection is a great game that can be challenging and EXTREMELY frustrating at times. If you take your time, practice the different tables and learn what gives you the most points and easiest ways to keep the ball in play for the longest, you should have almost no problem getting 100% on this game in the long run at all.

Road Map

Step 1: Get High Score Trophies On Each Table

- Play through all the different tables to unlock the high score trophies on each. This will give you get a feel for the tables and learn what you need to do for the bonus points, multi-balls, and everything else to help increase your points, which will help you out when you begin the William's Challenge. Before starting a table, take a look at the "Table Goals" for it and try to achieve them all as this will net you tokens and allow you to unlock freeplay on other tables.

Step 2: Complete Williams Challenge

- Select the Williams Challenge from the main menu. In the challenge, you must go through all 12 tables and beat a target score on each (the scores are listed in the trophy guide). If you fail to beat the target score on a certain table, you will be given 2 more chances on that table to try again. If you fail all 3 attempts though, the game is over and you have to start over from the first table. While playing on these tables, you should aim for the high score trophies on any table you are missing them on as they are obtainable through Williams Challenge mode as well. Once you finish the challenge, you will unlock the pinball table Jive Time (into playability, not freeplay) & the Beat Williams Challenge trophy.

Step 3: Get Jive Time High Score

Play Jive Time and get the high score on it to unlock Set Jive Time High Score trophy. Make sure that you are aiming for the Table Goals on it as well if you haven't already unlocked all tables into freeplay!

Step 4: Cleanup

Go back and play any of the tables that you are missing the high score trophies on if you are still missing any of them. Also, if you still need to unlock any table into freeplay, then play through the other tables to get tokens and complete the table goals to finish unlocking the remaining tables for your 100%!

Man, this game is fun and addictive.

For non-Wizards (like me): before trying to tackle the Williams Challenge, you might want to start by unlocking tables in the arcade so you can practice a bit and learn the tables. That will make things less frustrating and you'll have some idea how to reach the target scores during the Challenge.

It takes longer, true, but it makes it much more fun.

That was my belief as well, but people normally want the fastest way to 100% games, which is why I put to run through it on the Williams Challenge first than go back and finish up.

That's the best way to do it. I tried the Williams Challenge after getting the bronzes for all but two tables, and it helped a lot. Also, practicing for 30-60 minutes and warming up prior to attempting the Challenge is good, as it will put you in that pinball mindset.

Is that the same game or not? Because that game is supposed to be released in november. I am confused.

When I goggled that one, one of the sites said it's another name Pinball HOF: The Williams Collection, so it probably is. That looks like it's an import one which is why it might be releasing alot later then the original, but from what I can tell, it looks to be the same one.
