Introduction

A platforming game based on a popular Disney movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension is a fun-filled platforming and combat game where players can be one of eight characters including Phineas, Ferb or Master P as they use gadgets and combat maneuvers to defeat the evil Dr. D and his minions. In addition, the PS3 version features PlayStation Move's motion controller compatible gameplay, giving the game a whole new level of fun and dimension.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Play the game normally, following the Collectable Token Guide, Upgrade Chip Guide, and the Figure Guide. Once you have completed the game, you can now move on to step 2. Most trophies will come naturally as you play through the game, so don't spend much time on trophies that are not related to the collectibles, upgrade chips or the figures.

Step 2: You should have 100 golden tokens after following the guide. Use these tokens to play the ski ball and claw machine mini games (accessed by completing a level). Make sure that you earn enough tickets by playing the ski ball mini game to buy everything from the store. If you need more tokens, go back and replay some levels. Once you have bought everything from the store, it's time to play the claw machine mini game. You will need to collect the yellow and red capsules from this mini game so you can collect figures, graphics chips (to change your weapon's color) and sound chips (to change your weapon's sound effects). You will know that you have won every possible prize when every capsule only gives you tickets/tokens. You can also activate a cheat that will help you play these mini games longer without using any tokens at all. Activate the cheat from the main menu from the main game.

Step 3: Mop Up: If you are missing any other trophies, follow the trophy guide below. And if you are having problems levelling up your gadgets/weapons or trading in your electronics for upgrade chips, go into the Options menu, then Extras, then Cheats. Turn on the "Extra Weapon XP" and the "Double Electrons" cheats to get your gadgets levelled up quicker.

Collect every trophy in the game.

Collect every other trophy to get this one.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/02.jpgFigure Madman(G)

Collect Every Figure in the game.

There are a ton of figures in the game; some that can be found as you progress through the game, some that can be bought with tokens that you have collected from playing the mini games in between levels and the rest of them have to be won by playing the crane game (Yellow and Red capsules). See here for a video Guide (credit to RecepHatHunger Recep):

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/03.jpgVersion 2.0(S)

Install half of the upgrade chips in the game.

In order for you to install upgrade chips, you will need to collect electronics (the little bolt things that fall from enemies that you defeat). You will then need to find a work bench (there are at least 2 in each world). Once you have found one, the electronics will then form upgrade chips for you to use on your weapons.

You also have to make sure you have upgraded your weapons by defeating enemies through the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/05.jpgModtacular(B)

Collect all the mod chips in the game.

There are a total of 12 mod chips in the game, 2 for each weapon you will acquire through the game. They can only be found while in a certain level so please be on the lookout as you progress through the game. You can also use this guide to help you: LINK

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/05.jpgI'm A-levelin' Mah Gadgets!(B)

Get each and every gadget up to maximum level.

There are a total of 6 gadgets/weapons in the game. You will need to level them all up. Each gadget has 4 levels before they are maxed out. The fastest way to level up your gadgets is by using one of the extra XP cheats that can be found and used in the Pause menu. After you activate that cheat, choose Baljeet and use him in World 6.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/03.jpgChiptastic(S)

Collect every upgrade, effect, and mod chip in the game.

Upgrades, effects and mod chips can be found throughout the game and can be bought while in the store. The store is located in the section where you play the mini games in-between levels. After you have earned and bought all of them the trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/05.jpgWeekend at the Arcade(B)

Earn 2000 tickets in the course of the game.

There are 2 ways to earn this trophy. You can save them up and play the crane game and earn the tickets that way, or you can play the game where you have to roll the ball and hit colors to earn the tickets. The ball game is the quickest way to earn a lot of tickets while only using only one token.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/03.jpgTicket Stockpiller(S)

Have 500 tickets in your posession at once.

This is no different than the Weekend at the Arcade trophy, except this time you have to hold on to them. If you play the Perry ball game, you should earn this in 6-8 tries, depending on your score when you run out of balls to toss.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/03.jpgThe Full Cast(S)

Unlock every single playable character (Baljeet, Isabella, Pinky, Peter).

You should wait until you have completed the game before going for this trophy. You will need to buy these playable characters from the store in the mini game section that appears after you beat a level. You will need to earn the tickets first, so it's best to collect the tokens that can be found in each level and then play one of the two mini games to earn tickets. Each character appears in the store after beating a certain level in the main game.

While in the store you will need to go to the characters section to buy the characters. There will be four, each costing a different amount. You will need a total of 1700 tickets before you're able to get this trophy.

  1. Agent Peter – 700 Tickets
  2. Agent Pinky – 550 tickets
  3. Isabella – 100 tickets
  4. Baljeet –350 tickets

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/02.jpgLet's Play Dress-Up(G)

Unlock all 17 additional skins

You will need to purchase them from the store, just like how you did when going for The Full Cast trophy. Some can be found throughout the course of the game and others can be won while playing the mini games. I found it easier and quicker to just buy them. You will need 2,375 tickets to purchase them all. You will also need to have all the characters before this trophy will pop. Please see The Full Cast for more info.

1. Cowboy Phineas – 150 tickets

2. Old Timey Phineas – 50 tickets

3. Cowboy Ferb – 50 tickets

4. Ferbgor – 150 tickets

5. Phineas in Dooferalls – 50 tickets

6. Swim Trunks Phineas – 150 tickets

7. Ferb in Dooferalls – 50 tickets

8. Swim Trunks Ferb – 150 tickets

9. Magpie Costume – 250 tickets

10. Ninja T – 250 tickets

11. Pandaborg – 250 tickets

12. Glam Rock Pinky – 175 tickets

13. Resistance Isabella –250 tickets

14. Old Timey Isabella – 50 tickets

15. Dr.Baljet – 50 tickets

16. Grome Baljet – 200 tickets

17. Perry the PLATYBORG -- Enter code :circle:, :cross:, :circle:, :triangle:, :square:, :triangle: (Thanks VietKnight)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/05.jpgFirst Gadget (B)

Collect all the parts and construct your first gadget.

You will earn this in the first level of the game. You will first need to find the parts needed for the first gadget. There are 2 parts, all you need to do is shoot the blue cubes and grab the part, a blueprint will show up near the object you will need to construct and you will need to go over to it and press :l1: to build the gadget. Once the gadget is built, the trophy will be yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/23.jpgDimensional Gold Claim(G)

Collect all of the gold tokens across all the dimensions.

There are a total of 100 tokens in the game across different levels but every level that has a set number of tokens in them only have 5. Please use this guide to help locate any tokens you are having trouble locating: LINK, also see here for a video Guide (credit to RecepHatHunger Recep):

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/25.jpgRush to the Sewers(B)

Get from the treehouse all the way into the sewers as quickly as possible.

This is the first level and the treehouse is where you built the device to talk to Dr. Baljeet. After you have slide down the slide, rush to the Sewers. You will need to quickly take out the enemies and press :select: to skip any talking. Once the sewer drain opens jump down it. The trophy should pop once the blue and red stats screen comes up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/25.jpgGelatin Revolution(B)

Defeat the Gelatin Monster in under 180 seconds.

This is best to do when you have upgraded your orange juice gadget. Having it upgraded will eliminate a lot of time. You will also need jump on the cubes as soon as they are near the pillars, so you can jump up and use the levers to crush the Gelatin monster. After that, every time he hits something and breaks into the little guys, just press :square: to grab them and eat them. The more you collect the less life he will have the next time he forms again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/25.jpgJust Bouncy(B)

Climb up the gelatin mountain but never bounce more than once on the same bouncy pad.

In the first dimension of the fifth level there will be some green bounce pads that look like slime or gelatin. You can bounce on them, just move to the next one without touching the same one twice. You will need to go up there to get one of the parts to get the laser to work. Once you reach the top, a big enemy that looks like the one you fought in the previous level will be at the top. If you are having trouble or don’t want to mess up, double tap the :cross: button to hover a bit. If you don’t get it when you reach the top, just fall to the bottom and try again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/25.jpgBarging Through(B)

Ride the entire balloon barge without falling once.

In the second dimension, second level, there will be a section where you will have to ride the pink balloons from one side to the other, while jumping to the next balloon, because there will be porcupines shooting spikes at the balloons, making them pop. If you are not quick you will fall. If you fall once you will need to restart the level and try again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/29.jpgAgh, Bees!(B)

Run through the bee path in under 38 seconds.

In the beginning of the fourth level in the balloon dimension, there will be a robot hitting a bee hive. After the bees handle the robot, they will come after you. Just run as fast as you can to the end, making sure you don't fall if the bees pop the balloons in front of you. As soon as you make it to the end of that section and the bees have left you alone, the trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/30.jpgOld Timey Winds(S)

Go across the windy canyon without falling down once.

In the first level of the Old Timey dimension, after getting off the boat, you will need to make it to the top of the mountain while jumping on platforms. There will be a lot of wind pushing you forward and backwards. Just get to the top without falling down and the trophy will be yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/29.jpgPlatform Walker(B)

Stay on the moving platforms for at least 60 seconds. (Don't touch solid ground.)

In the first level of the Gnome dimension, there will be three different sections, three different platforms in each section. Just stay on the platforms that are moving without touching the ground. You can go on any of the platforms as long as you don't touch solid ground. Once it's at the 60 second mark the trophy will pop and you can go on with the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/30.jpgWhat the Boulder's Cooking(S)

Defeat 3 enemies with boulders.

In the second level in the Gnome dimension, once you have taken out all the enemies and the weeds that block off the way to get the parts have gone back in the ground, you can head up to each one. However, the one you need to go up is the one on the left hand side. As you progress you will see some enemies and some boulders come from the left hand side. You will need the boulders to defeat the enemies for you. I found using a second controller to control the other character a little easier than having the computer have control. At least that way, the boulders will be defeating the enemies and not you partner.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/29.jpgCharging Goozim(B)

Make the Goozim charge into all the gnome village wreckage.

In the third level in the Gnome dimension, just let the Goozim charge everything that is still breakable before defeating it. The trophy will pop as soon as all the village wreckage has been hit and will have disappeared.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/29.jpgCruising through Crushers(B)

Get through all the crushers without getting hit.

In the second level of the Robot Factory dimension; this is pretty straight forward. The only place you may need to worry about is when you have to go up but the conveyor belt that you are on is going down. Just take your time and then watch the crusher go up. As soon as it goes up make your move. I found jumping makes the movement up a little easier and helps you dodge the crusher.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/29.jpgCruiser Destroyer(B)

Don't let any cruisers get away. (Shoot them all down.)

The cruisers are in the fourth level of the Robot Factory dimension, they are the purple ships that come around, just shoot them until they are destroyed. I found using the tag team skill and the rockets to be very useful when it comes to taking them down quickly.

Defeat 3 Dooftron Commanders in the level. (The giant buildings.)

In the second level in the last dimension; they are the big giant buildings. Just keep shooting them and using the rockets (if you have any). The special team skill will help defeat them or at least take down their health by a lot.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/30.jpgLaser Tracer(S)

Avoid 4 quad-laser attacks in a row.

This is during the second part of the fourth level of the last dimension. Once you have done what you needed to do to get access to the slide, you will come across the new gadget Doofenshmirtz has acquired. After you have done enough damage to his new toy, he will start using the quad (4 lasers at one time) laser along with other objects that can cause harm to you. As long as you don't get hit by any of the lasers you will be fine, you will need to dodge them a total of 4 times. Make sure you are not using any cheats that help the character in any way. If you get hit, just die and it will restart you from the point when you first came across Doofenshmirtz.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1128/30.jpgGrand Slam(S)

Use only the Baseball Launcher to defeat the Doof-Robot.

This is in the last stage of the last dimension. The ONLY gadget you need to use is the Baseball Launcher. The robot has other weaknesses but you only can use the Baseball Launcher to get this trophy. If it's not the right weakness, just wait until the baseball weakness shows up and the trophy will be yours once the Doof-Robot has been destroyed.

So would you know where the upgrade chips are found at in the lvls?

I think some of us are going to have to wait on the platinum until someone post the upgrade chips. Seems like that is keeping some of us from the platinum. I still don't understand what the characters special abilities do. The dog character has a chip ability, whatever that means.

If you guys could let me know what upgrade chips you're talking about since the ones I'm thinking about are the ones that you get when you collect electronics and go to the workbench.

I'm still going for the platinum and plan on working on a guide on where I found everything, along with images. So please give me a break on what you guys are talking about.

You eventually max out the upgrade chips you get from the electronics at the workbench, the rest our in lvls. They look like the chips and you run over them to pick them up. Unfortunately though they tend to just appear and pick them up without knowing it

great guide thank you for taking the time!

there are a couple of things that may help improve...

for the laser dodging trophy you dont say that it is REALLY important not to damage the doc the last time until you get the trophy.... the quad lasers will only come 4+ times if you dont damage him on his last life given the opportunity. you also say to die if you get hit but you can not die (this makes me wonder if you played it or if i have misundersotood) as when you health gets low you just freeze and you have to shake the controller and it fills upi you health, i left my health on 0 and went for a cigerette and it still did not die when i came back.

in the road map you state that it is important that to follow the collectibles guide and link them... however you dont mention the mod chip guide until the mod chip trophy description. the mod chip is far more important than thr upgrade chip as the upgrade chips can be found over and over again, I also found at least 6 upgrade chips that where not in the guide. but because I did not follow mod chip.. and only upgrade guide, i had to repeat a lot..

the most important thing.. you say to only play the crane game once completeing the game however this will add A LOOOOOT of extra time to you gameplay as some figures (around 15) only appear in the red capsules.. but once you have picked up a red capsule you will need to complete another level before it will respawn in the game.... thus meaning you will have to complete 15 more levels so to play it enough...!!!

I would also reccomend farming tickets through out the game as playing the ball game 69 times in order to get the buyable items destroyed the little sanity I have left.

Thank you for writing the guide. it isnt in my top ten of quickest plats/easiest or fun platinums but it is close to them!

It was helpful and i would have possibly blown my face if if i had to work out some of the parts of this game with out your help so thank you...

please not that my points are not criticisms they are just advisories

also sorry about my spelling and grammer... i am now very tired!

Hi guys can anyone tell me how to unlock the code menu screen been trying at the new game screen but I can't get it to work

You must do it whilst in the game... as in at the pause menu whilst in a level... beware though the cheats turn off everytime you quit the game so don't forget to turn them on as soon as you start again, otherwise like me you think you are collecting extra points but not!

Yikes! The guide doesn't mention Isabel's Bonus Tickets ability. If I knew about it, I would have purchased her right away and saved myself some time while playing the skee ball game. Oh well, live and learn.

her ticket ability may bag you an extra 2 tickets per game so really not too worry about not using her! [=

Thanks for the guide. I don't know what it is about this game, I'm enjoying my playtime and I enjoy the show. But I can only play a few levels before I am just tired and have to stop playing. It's like the game wants me to stop playing.

Oh well, just a little more to go.
