Peggle Roadmap

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 8.6/10
  • Offline trophies: 9 (5 (B) | 3 (S) | 1 (G))
  • Online trophies: 3 (3 (B)) [Boosting Thread]
  • Estimated time to 100%: 30-40+ hours
  • Minimum number of play-throughs: 1+ ("Ace of Adventure" much easier on 2nd Adventure Mode run)
  • Missable trophies: "Ace of Adventure", can always start a new Adventure Mode from the menu, though.
  • Glitched trophies: None so far
  • Do cheats disable trophies? No Cheats

    1. Finish your first playthrough of Adventure Mode.
Start your first playthrough of Adventure Mode from the menu, it is very simple. Some levels are tough but just keep retrying and you can get past them. In this step you should get the following trophies: "Catch the Fever" - (B) , "Go ULTRA!" - (B) , "Be Cool" - (B) , "Free! Free! Free Ball!" - (B) , "Stylish Project" - (B) , "Peggle Graduate" (S).

    2. Get all the online Trophies.
Now that you know how to play well, you can do the online trophies! You can choose to do this legit or you can boost for this. It is more fun doing it legit but if you are pressed for time you can find boosting partners here. You need to win a Peggle Duel with Claude, beat 3 other players in a Peggle Party by 100,000 points and win a Peggle Party to earn the following trophies: "Rock Lobster" - (B) , "Party Master" - (B) , "People's Ovation" - (B).

    3. Play through Adventure Mode again.
Unless you got the "Ace of Adventure" trophy on your first playthrough you should do it now. It is much easier now since you can pick any character for each level you play. Try and get over 200k on each level and finish each level on your first try (extra 100k Bonus). You can quit to the xmb if you're about to fail a level so you don't miss out on the 100,000 bonus (credit to Liad-88 for that tip). Finishing every level on your first try will give you a point bonus at the end of Adventure Mode and that should guarantee 20,000,000 points earning you "Ace of Adventure" - (S).

    4. Complete all of the challenges.
This is probably the hardest part of Peggle for most people. I have made a guide dedicated to all of the challenges to make it easier for you; you can find it here. Once you have beaten the final challenge in Peggle you will unlock "Peggle Professor" - (S).

    5. Clear every Peg on every level.
Another very hard trophy, you will need alot of perseverance to get it! Thankfully, Liad-88 has made a great guide for it here. You have to "100% Clear" each level whether it be through Adventure Mode, Challenge Mode (certain Challenges only) or Quickplay, it does not matter. Make sure you hit the orange peg last or you have to start the entire level over again. If you are having too much trouble on one level switch your strategy or your master, take a break if this trophy starts to do your head in. Practice will make Perfect. When you 100% Clear the last level you will get "Doctor of the Peggle Arts" - (G) trophy!

NOTE : Peggle Nights Levels are NOT required for this trophy!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/01.jpg Catch the Fever (B)

Cure your need for fever with Extreme Fever.

You will get this after you beat your first level. Simply clear all of the orange pegs to enter "Extreme Fever" mode and this trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/02.jpg Go ULTRA! (B)

Clear all the pegs in a level. It's pretty extreme, but you look up to it.

Clear all of the pegs on any level. An easy way to get this is to use Jimmy Lightning and play the level "Das Bucket." Make sure to not hit the last orange peg until you have cleared all the other pegs. It is best to make your last orange peg high on the board so you don't accidentally hit it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/03.jpg Be Cool (B)

Hit the last orange then the last blue to rack up a Cool Clear.

In order to get a Cool Clear you must hit the last orange peg and then hit the last non-orange peg. I recommend using Bjorn on the 1st level and using the special ability when you're about to hit the final orange so you can make sure your shot will rebound onto the last non-orange to earn the "Cool Clear" trickshot!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/04.jpg Free! Free! Free Ball! (B)

Rack up the score or hit the bucket for 3 free balls in one shot.

Use Jimmy Lightning on "Das Bucket" and hit both green pegs in one shot. With a bit of luck you should get at least 75,000 Points (2 Free Balls) and one ball in the bucket (1 Free Ball).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/12.jpg Stylish Project (B)

Bust out all your Skillz, Bounces, and Slides for 1 million style points!

You need to accumulate a total of 1,000,000 "Style Points."

You should get this quickly through natural play but if you want it fast you can start any level with Bjorn and hit the green pegs so you can easily hit Long shots, Super Long Shots and Off The Wall Style shots.

For your convenience I have set up a list of all trickshots :

[spoiler=trickshots]

Free Ball Skills: Bounce ball directly from one (and only one) peg into the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 5,000 (2,500 in Duel Mode)

Long Shot: Hit a non-blue peg, travel approximately 1/3 the width of the screen, hit another non-blue peg next or almost-next. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Double Long Shot: Hit a non-blue peg, travel approximately 1/3 the width of the screen, hit another non-blue peg next or almost-next, then travel approximately 1/3 the width of the screen to hit a third non-blue peg next or almost-next. Points: 25,000 (10,000 in Duel Mode)

Super Long Shot: Hit a non-blue peg, travel approximately 2/3 the width of the screen, hit another non-blue peg next or almost-next. Points: 50,000 (10,000 in Duel Mode)

Off the Wall: Bounce the ball off of the wall, travel approximately 1/5 the width of the screen, and hit a non-blue peg. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Kick the Bucket: Bounce the ball off the Free Ball Bucket and hit the final orange peg for Fever. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Lucky Bounce: Bounce the ball off the Free Ball Bucket for a certain amount of time or 1/4 the height of the screen, then catch the ball in the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 25,000 (2,500 in Duel Mode)

Mad Skillz: Have 5 balls in a row fall in the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Crazy Mad Skillz: Have 10 balls in a row fall in the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 100,000

Extreme Slide: Slide for 12 pegs. Points: 50,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Orange Attack: Given a number of orange pegs remaining, hit a certain number of orange pegs in a shot. The amount of Orange Pegs needed lowers depending on the number of Orange Pegs on board. Points: 50,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Cool Clear: Get Ultra Extreme Fever (100% pegs cleared) on a shot that hits at least two pegs. Points: 50,000

Bucket Bonus: Have a ball fall into the Free Ball Bucket (Duel Mode only). Points: 2,500 for first drop, increases by 2,500 each time

Mega Shot Bonus: Reach 25,000, 75,000 or 125,000 points on a shot (Duel Mode only). Points: 2,500 at each tier

Double Guide: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in the Super Guide being active for the next six shots. Points: 25,000

Triple Play: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in a three-ball shot. Points: 25,000

Multiball Madness: Get the Multiball after hitting the final orange peg for fever. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Free Ball Frenzy: Have more than one ball go into the Free Ball Bucket in one shot. Points: 100,000 (10,000 in Duel Mode)

Spooktacular: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in the Spooky Ball going around the screen twice. Points: 25,000

Pyramid Pileup: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in the Pyramid being active for the next nine shots. Points: 25,000

Pyramid Pickup: Bounce a ball off the Pyramid bumpers and into the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 10,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Eye of the Pyramid: Land the ball in a Pyramid-activated Free Ball Bucket without touching the Pyramid bumpers. Points: 10,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Big Bang: Light up both green pegs in the same shot, either by hitting them both with the ball or by catching one green peg in the Space Blast of the other. Points: 25,000

Flip Out: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in Flippers being active for the next 5 shots. Points: 25,000

Flipper Maniac: Bounce off a Flipper and hit at least one peg; do this four times. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Petal to the Metal: Hit two green pegs in the same shot, resulting in one-fifth of the remaining orange pegs lighting up each time. Points: 25,000

Great Balls of Fire: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in the Fireball being active for the next two shots. Points: 25,000

Hot Stuff: Bounce a Fireball off the cap on the Free Ball Bucket, then have the Fireball land in the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

Spin Again: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in two spins of the Lucky Spin wheel. Points: 25,000

Hat Trick: Have a ball wearing the Magic Hat fall into the Free Ball Bucket. Points: 10,000 (2,500 in Duel Mode)

Zen Maniac: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in Zen Ball being active for the next two shots. Points: 25,000

Power Surge: Hit both green pegs in the same shot, resulting in Electrobolt being active for the next two shots. Points: 25,000

Shock it to Me: Light up 12 or more pegs with a single Electrobolt shot. Points: 25,000 (5,000 in Duel Mode)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/06.jpg Peggle Graduate (S)

Complete Adventure Mode and earn your degree from the Peggle Institute.

Adventure Mode contains 55 levels you need to beat to earn this trophy. You shouldn't have any trouble except for the last few levels which can be easily beaten through persistence.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/10.jpg Ace of Adventure (S)

In a peg defying feat, score 20 million points in a single play-through of Adventure mode.

You should attempt this after you have done at least 1/3 of the challenges so you are a bit more skilled. Try to finish as many levels as you can on your first try as you not only get 100k points but it also gives you a bonus in millions at the end depending on how many levels you finished on your first try! You should try and average at least 380k per level. Doing this on your 2nd playthrough makes it even easier as you get to choose which master you want for each stage which can be crucial for maximizing your score!

Tip from Liad-88:

If you're losing in the level (say you got 1 ball left, and loads of orange pegs), just go into xmb and quit game, and restart it. The progress is saved from that level, but you're still on your first try (or whichever it was you tried it from). DO NOT finish the level, and then quit - it HAS to be done before all the balls have been used and you come to the 'retry' screen. This is a very easy alternative method for people to get the trophy if they have trouble with it.

So if you quit to the xmb if you're about to lose a level (you MUST quit from xmb), you can retry without losing the 100,000 points. Also, if you finish each level on your 1st try using this trick if you're about to fail, you will get a 10 million bonus at the end of Adventure Mode which should guarantee 20 million+! It is a tedious process but it is much better than finishing Adventure Mode and scoring 19 million.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/07.jpg Peggle Professor (S)

Complete every level in Challenge Mode and even the Peggle Masters will be impressed.

The Peggle Challenges are very tough. I can't explain the easiest way to beat each one here so I have written an entire guide for the challenges here. I hope that will help you in beating some of these insanely hard challenges.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/09.jpg Doctor of the Peggle Arts (G)

Clear all pegs and bricks in every level in Quick Play or Adventure mode and gain explodious fame!

Another hard trophy that can really be a pain to unlock. Thankfully, a guide for 100%'ing each level has been written by Liad-88 and you can find that here.

You can identify which levels you have "100%'ed" by the Blue 100% Ribbon over the levels you have "100%'ed".

Online Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/08.jpg Rock Lobster (B)

Win a PlayStation®Network Duel like a crustacean born. `Ave you tried ze flippers?

The trophy description of this may not be understood by some people but you have to win a Duel online while using Claude. Barely any people play duel mode now so you're are probably going to have to find a boosting partner

here. Don't forget you MUST use Claude or the trophy won't unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/05.jpg Party Master (B)

Winning a Peg Party is way better than playing with a ball of yarn!

Join a Peg Party and beat all the other players. It's not that hard and there are a sufficient amount of people playing Peg Party online. However you can find boosting partners

here.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/286/11.jpg People's Ovation (B)

Win a 4-player Peg Party by a whoppin' 100,000 points to acquire everlasting coolness.

It is hard to get 100,000 points ahead of everyone in Peg Party but every now and then you will have your moment where you completely blow everyone away. Unfortunately there must be 4 players at the end of the peg party which means if someone rage quits - which they most likely will - you will not earn this trophy.

If you wish you can boost this trophy by finding 3 other boosting partners

here.

That ends my trophy guide for Peggle if you find any errors or mistakes let me know

:)

There is an alternate way for getting ace of adventure if you're having trouble:

quoted from this post: Easy method for 20mill adventure ach - Xbox360Achievements.org

***

This is very easy using the massive bonuses given for not retrying. If you are about to lose, go to Xbox Dashboard (restarting or quitting from the game will still be marked as a failure). Then reload the game and adventure mode, your progress will be saved up to that level and you can try again. Completing each level with no retries nets you a 100k bonus, and (if this is anything like the PC game), you will get a 10 MILLION 'efficiency' bonus at the end of the game for no retries throughout (less if you did retry, but still millions)!

So considering the bonuses, you only need to get 82k a stage :p

***

This is what I posted to my achievement guide thread - hope it helps people! Restarting from Dashboard each you lose could be frustrating for new players, but I guess it's better than missing out on 20mill and having to playthrough the whole mode again, hehe

I tried this just to check it when i was still playing, and it did work(unless it's been patched since then). Each retry reduces the efficiency bonus by about 200k, so if you're having trouble you can easily get this trophy if you use this glitch.

to playstation it up a bit: if you're losing in the level (say you got 1 ball left, and loads of orange pegs), just go into xmb and quit game, and restart it.
