Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus is a port from the previous Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (PS3) which includes new features that are fun and challenging. One year after the events of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma, master blacksmith Muramasa is setting up shop in Tokyo. A CIA agent named Sonia enters the place and asks for Ryu's whereabouts, until members of the Black Spider ninja clan attack the shop and kidnap her. Enter the Dragon Ninja Ryu who fails to stop Sonia's kidnapping and makes haste around the Tokyo skyscrapers and rescues the agent. The agent informs him of an attack on the Hayabusa Village by the Black Spider ninjas, who wish to steal the Demon Statue they possess and protect.

Modes

Ninja Race - This mode is a race through various courses from parts of the game. The whole concept is to clear a chapter as quickly as possible.

http://i.imgur.com/6tnPmYcl.jpg

  • Combo Kills - Each time the counter increases, so does attack power for a short time. When the gauge runs out, attack power returns to normal.
  • Remaining Time - The game is over when the time reaches zero.
  • Ninja Speed Icon - Shows how many times Ninja Speed mode can be used. Press the down button to enter Ninja Speed mode and temporarily increase the speed of the game.
  • Purple Essence - Increase the number of times Ninja Speed mode can be entered.
  • White Essence - Increase your Combo Kills attack power gauge.
  • Green Essence - Extend the remaining time.

Tag missions - This mode is a spinoff from the previous team missions from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (PS3) which includes the same missions but with a twist. First, this mode is broken up into two different modes Normal and Turbo with 35 missions each. Next, in order to be successful in difficult missions you must utilize tagging. This allows you to use tactical switching between the partner you've selected.

Miscellaneous Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1836/841.jpg On the Right Track (H)(B)

Clear one Ninja Race course.

You will unlock Ninja Race mode after clearing 1 chapter in story mode. Simply clear one Ninja Race course and the trophy will unlock afterwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1836/553.jpg Serial Killer (H)(B)

Achieve 50 combo kills.

This must be done in Ninja Race mode. To get 50 combos kills you must pay attention to your combo meter. Killing enemies quickly will keep the combo meter high. Also if you pick up white essences it will extend your gauge to last longer. Just try not to get damage when doing this because it will rapidly run down quicker and the result may cost you to start over.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1836/631.jpg Been There, Done That (H)(G)

Clear all Ninja Race courses.

There is a total of 5 ninja races and each will vary on how many checkpoints they have. Also, you can check out this guide for help. Credit to Kagerasimaru: Ninja Race Guide

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1836/C66.jpg Dynamic Duo (H)(G)

Successfully complete all missions on Turbo difficulty.

Same the Power of Two trophy but this time the gameplay will be extremely fast. Complete all 35 missions and the trophy will unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1836/551.jpg Master of the Secret Arts (P)

We need vote for Team Ninja + adhoc for this game . We can't finish this game if we don't adhoc or decrease difficult in Tag Mission T_T

we have to wait and see... if they were to release a patch, it would be release around razor edge's release next month

adhoc is impossible, noticed how the game says wifi is disabled when starting the game? that's because developers can overclock the gpu to push better grahpics/performance for the cost of disabling wifi, some graphics heavy games like uncharted and assassins creed do it too

the port is build around using the overclocked gpu, you can't just patch in adhoc on top of that. they didn't cut the multiplayer because they hate their fans but because the vita is not powerful enough, otherwise we would have cross-play with the ps3 version like doa5

Yeah but the fact they kept the stupid AI and even put this ridiculous turbo mode totally seems like they did it becuse they do. There's no way they don't have at least 1-2 more professional testers in the team

they probably do have testers to test actual gameplay but not for completing their games.

i bet they'll probably put the game thru a debug mode and have infinite health and test it themselves instead of legitimately beating it.

i know i would if suck at my own games haha

I wonder what can be done about tag missions at all. The only thing I can think of is making AI invulnerable on later missions. They're built around 2 players attacking different bosses. Since AI is just a punching bag that dies just make it invulnerable so that punching bag at least distracts 1 boss.

Path of the Master Ninja

Mastered the PATH OF THE MASTER NINJA

I'm on this trophy right now

I have a question (yes I'm still playing this game - but for how long ?). I'd like to know if I can pause the game while I'm playing on Chapter Challenge mode - I usually take a few breaks when I'm playing, will those break times be counted as "elapsed time" at the end of the chapter ?

I haven't got the game so I cannot confirm it but since the Vita has the feature to press home button and you quit to that preparing screen of the game, just press it and I'm sure time won't count.

Another thing is, time really doesn't matter in MN rank like on NGS+ xD Just kill everything = MN rank
