Gnyg
Well, so this is it. The last farming. The very last grind. 90 more recipes before platinium. Now that isn't a problem if most recipes are easy. However, my problem is that I only got 89 out of 130. What I'm wondering is. Where can I find the rest recipes needed? PS: Haven't done every side errand yet. Thanks in advance.

Gnyg
I havent started doing them, but is there a way to know which ones we have done ? When I started on it I just write in a word-document every recipe. Black text if I make it which I do at that given time to not fuck shit up. Red text is for when I don't have the ingredients. sonofcasbah
stolen from IGN, which worked for me. 1. Lady in boat at the harbor. (Castaway Cove) 2. Man outside Swift Solutions. (Hamelin) 3. Soldier in Kublai's ship. (Skull Mountain) or (The Iron Wyvrern) post-game. 4. The fishing snow person. (Yule) 5. Boy standing with his mother. (Perdida) Two others you need to talk to require a little effort but it's no big deal. If you've talked to the ghost (that explains the Sky Queen's side story) that appears in Hamelin, go find the ghost in Perdida near the entrance and he'll give you some recipes. The other is for talking to the man in the cave west of the snake temple, the guy from quest 78, when you have the goddess jewel in your inventory. In fact I just press to skip the (subs) conversations... the game is grindy enough already to invest my time in reading everything I have actually missed out on this... so cheers for this bro! Naps
My time spent in this game is over 100 hours because i fell asleep so many times playing this game it is just unbelieavable.... I think I've already done 120 hours and I still have to finish the Holy Wood quest in Hamelin... I guess this game was intended to be played differently by different players... I had fun hunting familiars and doing the errands and bounties... of course I fell asleep many times over while playing the game as well... but still I thought it was fun
mfCHI
Hitting the home stretch this weekend. It hasn't felt like a grind yet @ 70hr. Still enjoying collecting farmiliars. Gotten a few golds and a toko. I hope the final alchemy doesn't ruin the experience.

Gotten a few golds and a toko. I hope the final alchemy doesn't ruin the experience. Nope 70 hrs shouldn't YET feel like a grind. It's most surely still very much enjoyable during this stage to which I assume you've probably nearing 100 hrs by now. I still yet have to catch a GOLD familiar! Which area is the best way to get them, apart from the casino tickets of course. I'm also still way off course with the recipes... Going for Nazcaa grinding for parts/components before facing off with the White Witch...

Think you can only get golden familiars after u beat the game Bedraggleds And Draggamuffins are golden dragons that spawn in The Glittering Grotto Golden Honky Tonkers are those duck thingys , in the tombstone trail, near the end of the level, they spawn frequently in the dark area Golden goblins spawn in the miasma marshes and in the Golden Grove area u have the golden elefant familiars There is still the golden Toko , in the Vault of tears , apart from all of this, check your playstation store, usually there are 2 free familiars you can get

I'm now actually post game and I've only come across the golden elephants in Golden Grove... I got the 2 free familiar DLCs but have maxed them out already... got the Tin Man as well... I'm very interested on that golden Toko! Might as well give it a shot... Cheers! ----------- Edit: OMFG! Seriously, how hard are these rare ingredients/materials?! They were doing my head in! I'm glad I survived it... by sheer luck nonetheless.... Edited March 2, 2014 by Naps
Devils_Demon
I'm at 90% of the alchemy stuff now. Can anyone suggest which recipes to skip? Also, what percentage do I need to reach?
dcdfan
I used this guide to keep track: GameFAQs: Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) Mad Scientist Trophy Guide by QUAKeR--- It suggests which items to make, where to find the recipes, and where to get/farm the required ingredients. Simply perfect.
Aranethon
This may be a dumb question, but is there any way to tell which recipes I've already made? The number next to the recipe seems to be how many I'm carrying, regardless of whether I created it or picked it up.

The number next to the recipe seems to be how many I'm carrying, regardless of whether I created it or picked it up. If you have the recipe, look towards the top to see if there is a question mark or a picture. If there is a picture, then you've already made it, if not you'll see a question mark. Hope that helps. I'd meant to ask about the ones I made via "mix and match," but eventually I came across most of the remaining pages. The question marks worked wonders, and I was able to wrap everything up, after no small amount of farming!
