Martin HFCRL
Just read from ign.com that they give this game a 3/10 rating and saying do not buy this game. I was gonna buy it but i'm just a bit put off because of the comments they have made. Just wondering what you guys think about it.
kdrcraig
Just read that review too, gamespot liked it a bit more but still said it was nothing great. I wasn't dying to play this game or anything, was just going to get it from Gamefly but after reading those couple reviews I deleted it from my Q. Martin HFCRL
Yeah i want gonna pick this up straight away either but i was gonna wait too get it but since i saw that review it has totally put me off. I could see if any of my mates get it and see what they say about it then that could convince me but up too now it is off my list.
PS4Trophies Wozamil
Is this game as bad as all the reviews are saying it is? It's not just IGN that is saying that this isn't any good.
yewjhin
Is this game as bad as all the reviews are saying it is? It's not just IGN that is saying that this isn't any good. It's made by Rebellion Studios, the bunch of twats that made Rogue Warrior and Alien vs Predator. Those 2 games are in my top 3 list of worst games of this generation. Phodda
I was looking for buying this game, because of Konami involvement. And because the protagonist is a wise-cracking foul-mouthed guy...
mjfan97
First off all, I'm sick of IGN putting the review score in the title as it ruins the surprise. Secondly, their comparing to other games and their rating system has been all over the place recently. I mean even Terminator Salvation and Naughty Bear got a higher score than this game and the reviewers expressed how bad those games were but he just sounds like he's faking it and trying to come up with nonsensical reasons as to why the game sucks. Thirdly, IGN should come up with more imaginative words and not rush their impressions.
Ravenny
Meh, GameTrailers rated it a 4,3. From what I heard it wasn't anything special and most of the time the falling apart mechanic is just plain annoying.

privatetoast
I've played my fair share of horrendous games, but this sounds like it'd dethrone them all in terms of downright mediocrity.

yewjhin
If any of you ever played games previously msde by Rebellion, you would know how shitty their games are. They're lucky to even get Konami to keep them afloat. If you havent played any Rebellion made games, well if my word counts for anything, heed my advice and avoid this. Irregardless of IGN or any other review, this game is destined to dissapoint Edited February 4, 2012 by yewjhin
Banacheckfps
All you have to do is take a look at the dev team behind this game & you know this game is going to be shit, sorry but there last game's have been just that.
R353ARCH D35TROY
Yeah, I'm not sure about 3/10; sounds like they're just randomizing the review numbers when the review should be 5 or less points. Still, I was pretty interested in the cover arts. Now watching these gameplay videos and reading your responses, I'm pretty sure I'm not missing anything here. Looks more annoying than fun. WINAS3
The whole idea was interesting at first, but the more i learned the less i became interested.
Prelude2disastr
I think the concept would have been great as a PSNStore item, but as a full retail release it just looks to be monotonous and, as has already been said, the previous team outings leave a lot to be desired. I might rent it one day... but even that's doubtful.
IEntendu
To be honest , i gave up listening to what ever IGN has to say years ago. They have lost all touch.
Puniceus Extraho
IGNorant normally rates good games as terrible, and the really bad games as great(shut up about CoD being soooo great IGN...), and they still rated even Neverdead unfairly. The concept is great, the idea is cool, but the gameplay and presentation well... Needed work, but since Rebellion was in on it, my expectations weren't high. I got it because Konami had a hand it in. During the first few hours of gameplay, I thought it was sorta funny to lose limbs(too many zombie jokes) but after getting my head taken off sooooo many times by the puppies and spoons quite a bit, it was annoying to get back to my body without a grandbaby sucking my head into it's guts... Gamespot rated it at a 6.0, which is another reason why I got this, they aren't IGNorant... I would recommend someone to rent this game, or if your gonna buy it to not expect too much out of it. WrednyPL
I saw that review and I think they overreacted a bit. Yes, it's far from being great and has some major issues (like camera or Bryce's fragility), but it looks awesome (great lighting), has a lot of great ideas and even destructible environment. I'm more/less halfway through the game and would give it at least 7/10 (though I realise, that I've payed only a fracture of it's starting price, so I'm willing to let a lot things slide).
