Titanium Shadow
So now i have access to most of the cars i was a bit surprised not to find a single ferrari in there, does anyone know why they weren't included in this game?
Grafinenko
There is no ferrari , if you want ferarri, play ferrari challenge lol: The Cars | Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
Titanium Shadow
I'm not really bothered that there are no ferrari's to drive, there's plenty of other great cars in there, i just wondered if anyone knew why they were left out of this game. Grafinenko
It's all about money and licence , EA have the exclusive licence for porsches on ps3 but not for the ferrari i guess.
mgorsi
Ferrari's aint coming to nfs, at least not until Shift
mattybell2117
Ya you can play games that are specifically for Ferrari if you really want Ferrari's but I noticed this too. Not gunna lie, I was a little disappointed too. Oh well, I love my lambo and the ccxr (i think thats what it is. It's the one before the 16:4 Bugatti Veyron that can't drift worth a shit) is unreal. Ed-_-
Ferraris are just very expensive to license to put in video games
xenonxyanide
would have been nice to see a few ferrari's in there, maybe theyre hard to get the licensing for or something

Lurkki91
Are there other games than Ferrrari challenge and GT5 which have ferrari ? Need for Speed II SE has 2.
Grafinenko
Need for Speed II SE has 2. This game was cool, but i meant on Ps3
RyanS14
because to license ferraris would obviously be expensive and maybe criterion, or EA didnt have the extra budget to license ferrari. Likewise, GT5 has no Porsche, although it has RUF which is the same to me xD
Bandar
i too agree with everyone, i think it's a licensing issue..

Loganthedog
Fwiw: the speculation in this thread about Ferrari is way off base. While it is expensive to obtain liscenses, that's most certainly NOT the reason that Ferrari did not participate. There was an interview with one of the big-wigs at Ferrari, where he stated that Ferrari would not participate in ANY game that was not solely based on racing. The takedowns, and aggressive driving go against the fundamental ideas of what their brand means to them...I don't agree, but you gotta have standards I guess?!? ThuiSSiE
So true, Ferrari doesnt want their cars to be abused for smashing other cars or get smashed...like Loganthedog said..you gotta have a standard. There where more games where ferrari went missing

That's not totaly true, there is a ferrari pack available for NFS shift for 360, but in shift you are rewarded if you have an aggressive driving and if you smash all other cars. So ferrari cars can be smashed. That's why i think it's all about money.
Titanium Shadow
Maybe it's a combination of reasons, but i'd guess money is in there somewhere as one of them.
