Trophy Breakdown: 2 11 7 1

On August 11, 2011, the servers for NCAA Basketball 10 went offline for good. The following trophies are unattainable.

  • My Stats - Viewed your career stats from the My NCAA® Online menu.
  • I Can Win With Anyone! - Win five online ranked matches with five different teams. DNF wins don't count.
  • PlayStation®Network Gym Rat - Played in 75 online ranked matches
  • Spoiler - Win an online ranked match against an opponent 5 ranks or higher than you. DNF wins don't count

Road Map:

Step 1:
When you load the game for the first time, you are Blake Griffin in the outdoor basketball court, this is a great chance go for the "Show-Off" trophy. Once you have the trophy, press and head to MY NCAA > SETTINGS> GAMEPLAY SETTINGS

In Gameplay settings you are going to change sliders for USER and CPU to make collecting trophies easier. From the gameplay settings menu you have the option of changing gameplay settings and global settings by:

/ Gameplay settings / Global Settings

The following settings and rules should be used unless otherwise stated/needed:

Game half 2 minutes
Difficulty: All- Conference

Set all "Rules" to off as it easier to run the clock out such as for "40-Minute All-American"

User Sliders
To make things easier, you want to make sure that all user sliders are hard/full white to the right so that it is easier to reach goals when playing at All-Conference or All-American difficulty.

CPU Sliders
Again to make things easier on yourself, you want to make sure that CPU slider are hard/blank to the left so that it is easier to reach goals when playing at All-Conference or All-American difficulty

Step 2:
This is where you want to go to player creation and edit a school with 5-6 freshman or sophomores on the team toan overall of 99. You don't have to save your new rosters if you are going to play straight through step 3 into step 4, but if you are not then I recommend you save your rosters.

Step 3:
From the main menu you want to go to PLAY NOW. Your first play now game you want to go for "Buzzer Beater." Choose any two teams you want to use and just make sure difficulty is set to All-Conference and don't score. Hold on to the ball till there is 1 second left in regulation and then shoot the ball. If the shoot goes in and there is no time left on the clock, then you will get "Buzzer Beater." Even if you go to overtime, it is ok as long as the shot is a game winning buzzer beater the trophy will appear.

Now you want to play your second play now match, and this match you are going for "All-American", "Lethal Weapon Three", and "Upset City" Make sure you play as a C or lower school against an A school, difficulty is set to All-American, and half length is 20 minutes.

Step 4:
Now you want to go and do all the pre-season tournaments. To access all tournaments from the main menu go to GAME MODES> TOURNAMENTS> PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENTS. Then you can select one of the pre-season tournaments, though will have to play each one once. You can select each team as being user controlled, then just sim each round until the championship game. Make sure you PLAY the championship game as either squad, your choice, and all that matters is the squad you pick wins. When at the team hub page, do not select tip off yet, instead select gameplay settings. Change half length to 2 minutes and difficulty to All-Conference and then select tip off to play.

Trophy will pop at the end of the game and do this for all the pre-season tournaments: "MAUI Invitational", "Old Spice Classic", "Anaheim Classic", "Puerto Rico Tip-Off", and "NIT® Season Tip-Off."

Step 5:
Go and create a new dynasty mode. Pick the team you edited with 5-6 players of 99 and make sure you are in your first year. MAKE SURE you win all home games to unlock "Perfect at Home" and you win at least 30 games. When the season is over and you are taken to the off-season mode, the "Perfect at Home" trophy will pop up. Then in Year 2, make sure you win at least 30 games and do that again in Year 3. After year 3 during the off-season mode, the "Move Over, Duke!" trophy will pop up. Now comes the tedious part and that is just to sim the remaining 27 years of your dynasty to unlock "Hardcore." It doesn't matter if you win any games in the last 27 years of your dynasty as now all you need to do is complete all 30 years of the dynasty.

*Also during this time you can go for "Diaper Dandy" by trying to sign a McDonald's All-American recruit to your school. I suggest doing this if your first three years of your dynasty. You will recruit the player during the season and if you get a verbal commitment from the player, then you will be able to sign the recruit in the off-season during signing week and "Diaper Dandy" will appear.

Step 6:
Now comes the fun part and going after the online trophies. First I suggest you go after "I Can Win With Anyone!" as all you need to do is play five ranked matches with five different teams and WIN THOSE GAMES, BUT NOT BY DNF AS THOSE WINS DO NOT COUNT. Second, go ahead and play 75 ranked matches as you don't need to win those games just play them. You can quit after the in the 1st half at the 7:59 mark for it to count as a ranked game, but be careful as your DNF will rise and others may not want to play you. Lastly, go for the "Spoiler" trophy. This is difficult as you need to play a ranked match against someone who is five ranks higher than you and win but again DNF win does not count.

**How to Boost Online
When in your player hub online, go to address book and select your boosting partner and invite him/her to a game. When you invite your boosting partner to a game, make sure it is a ranked game for it to count.

Step 7:
Clean up time, basically go back and collect any trophies you may have missed. This is also the time to get the two easy bronze trophies if you didn't get them already by viewing the credits and viewing your online stats in your player hub.

BRONZE

My Stats
Viewed your career stats from the My NCAA® Online menu.

Go to ONLINE> MY NCAA ONLINE> VIEW PLAYER HUB. Now you on your EA sports profile. Where it says your inbox hit , then scroll down till you see career stats. Then stop there, and trophy will appear.

*Unattainable due to Server Shutdown on 8/11/2011*

Who's Behind the Door?
Viewed the game Credits from the EA Sports™ Extras menu.

Another easy trophy. Go to MY NCAA> EA SPORTS EXTRAS> CREDITS. The trophy will pop as you start to view the credits

SILVER

Show-Off
Make 20 straight baskets in Campus Hoops. Dunks don't count!

This one is easier then you would think. After you load the game, you are Blake Griffin at an outdoor basketball court. DO NOT PRESS START to go to the main menu. Pick the basketball up with Blake, just move him to the ball he will pick it up, then move him right under the basket. Then hit and pull the left stick down at the same time to shot the right under the basket. The ball will go off the backboard and go in the basket, thus getting 20 should happen quickly.

Diaper Dandy
Signed a McDonald's® All-American recruit in Dynasty Mode™

This one takes some work and you can unlock this trophy when going for "Hardcore" as I was able to unlock this trophy in year 2 during my dynasty with Long Beach State. If you want it quicker you can start a new dynasty with an "A" team like North Carolina or Kansas.

From the dynasty main menu hit START> RECRUITING > RECRUITING DATABASE. Now you will be looking for a player that is 5 star and by their name they have the McDonald's logo colored a bright red with a golden arch. Try to find one that has a bit of interest in your school. Then click on that recruit and send them a letter of interest. YOU HAVE TO SEND A LETTER OF INTEREST TO ANY RECRUIT TO OFFER A SCHOLARSHIP. Then just bombard the recruit with visits and calls till the recruit verbally commits to your school. Then during off-season mode, you begin with a week for signing recruits. Select the first available signing day, and sign your recruit to a scholarship and the trophy will appear after the recruit is signed.

McDonald's® All-American Game
Played and won the McDonald's® All-American game at All-Conference or higher.

This trophy is available in Dynasty Mode. After your first season is completed in dynasty mode you will be taken to the off-season menu. After you sign your verbal commitments and players graduate, sim till you get to the McDonald's® All-American game. YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME as either the west or east squad and all that matters is the squad you pick wins. When at the team hub page, do not select tip off yet, instead select gameplay settings. Change half length to 2 minutes and difficulty to All-Conference then hit and select tip off to play.

NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion
Play & win the last game of the NIT® Season Tip-Off game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.

When at the team hub page, do not select tip off yet, instead select gameplay settings. Change half length to 2 minutes and difficulty to All-Conference then hit and select tip off to play.

Trophy will pop at the end of the game and do this for all the pre-season tournaments: "MAUI Invitational", "Old Spice Classic", "Anaheim Classic", "Puerto Rico Tip-Off", and "NIT® Season Tip-Off."

40-Minute All-American
Won a game in Play Now mode with Skill Level set to All-American and Half Length set to 20 minutes.

For this trophy you first need to play as a C or lower ranked team. I picked Pacific out of the Big West conference. For your opponent you need an A ranked team and I picked Kansas out of Big 12 conference. After you select your team jersey, you will be taken to the team hub page. Do not select tip off yet, instead select gameplay settings. Change half length to 20 minutes and difficulty to All-American then hit and select tip off to play.

During the game as you are playing as the weaker team, select three players and have them score 20 points each to get "Lethal Weapon Three." After you get three players with 20 points, just hold the ball in the back court till time runs out.

When the game is over you will receive "Lethal Weapon Three", "Upset City", and "40-Minute All-American."

Spoiler
Win an online ranked match against an opponent 5 ranks or higher than you. DNF wins don't count.

This is a difficult trophy as you need to find someone who is five ranks higher than you and beat them, but catch is DNF wins do not count towards this trophy. Right now this trophy look like you have to earn it honestly.

*Unattainable due to Server Shutdown on 8/11/2011*

Buzzer Beater
Played and won a game on a 'buzzer beater' in Play Now at All-Conference Difficulty or higher.

From the main menu go to PLAY NOW. Choose any two teams you want to use and just make sure difficulty is set to All-Conference, half length is 2 minutes, and don't score. Hold on to the ball till there is 1 second left in regulation and then shoot the ball. If the shoot goes in and there is no time left on the clock, then you will get "Buzzer Beater". Even if you go into overtime, it is ok as long as the shot is a game winning buzzer beater the trophy will appear.

From the main menu go to MY NCAA> CREATION ZONE> EDIT PLAYER, and then pick a team such as Long Beach State out of the Big West and edit 5-6 players on the team so they become an overall 99. When choosing the 5-6 players, make sure they are either freshman or sophomores. You do not have to save your current squads, instead exit player creation and go to the main menu and from the main menus go to GAME MODES> DYNASTY MODE> NEW DYNASTY MODE.

In the new dynasty mode, go ahead and create a name for your coach. Then hit and now you are on the coaching option page. Select NO for coaching contracts, job offers, and coach firings. *Unattainable due to Server Shutdown on 8/11/2011*

PlayStation®Network Gym Rat
Played in 75 online ranked matches.

This is a grinding trophy. Best part is you do not have to win the online RANKED match, but thanks to Dimitri31pl he has confirmed that you can quit at the 7:59 mark in the 1st half and it will count. You can do this trophy honestly, but be careful of quitting many games as it will show on your DNF and others may not want to play you. Best bet is to find a boosting partner and take turns quitting.

*Unattainable due to Server Shutdown on 8/11/2011*

Congratulations you are now a PTP'er baby!!!

So do the dynasty trophies have to be done on All-Conference difficulty? It doesnt state so, but id hate to do it then get screwed. I mean, All-C isnt hard, just playing on JV would be much more relaxing.

No they do not as I never played a single game as all I did was sim. Only time you have a choice of All-Conference or other difficulty is when you actually play a game. The dynasty trophies have no set difficulty as long as you meet the requirements as with "Move over Duke" just win 30 or more games in 3 straight season, which can be done by siming.

Any tips on getting that McDonald's All-American? I mean, I went 36-1 my first season, and it seemed EVERY Micky D's AA had their interest level at 'VERY LOW'. WTF?

What school are you playing as? Usually most McDonalds AA's will want to go to a big time school like North Carolina. If your playing as a lower grade team then it will take a few seasons for your grade to improve before McDonalds AA's will have a high interest in your school.

For "very low" my best suggestion be to bombard them with calls from assistants, calls from the coach, send packages and basically harass your recruit to raise their interest.

Even after YOU HAVE SENT A LETTER OF INTEREST TO YOUR RECRUIT TO OFFER A SCHOLARSHIP, you still need to keep in contact with the recruit. Once you get verbal commitment (after they accept the scholarship you offered him)from the recruit then your good to go as then just wait till singing week.

Hope that helps.
