MrMinderbinder
So, I've never really understood why Jordan hasn't been included in any video game after, like, 1993. Even when he was in the NBA, he was always removed. How is it that companies can get the approval of EVERY SINGLE NBA PLAYER EXCEPT JORDAN? There is no way that his image fees are significantly steeper than those of every other media whore in the NBA. MrMinderbinder
See, but don't the game companies have to pay EVERY player for use of their image? I really can't believe that Lebron, Kobe, Carmelo, etc. are all affordable, but Jordan isn't. He can't possibly be that much more expensive that everybody else. britney624smerz
I'm not 100% sure , but I believe the reason he was never in any of the NBA games, including JAM was because his imaging was used in some game for sega and snes called windy city jam. Never played it but from what I hear it was horrible. But that's the reason they never used him
TheRealClayman
The game companies don't seek individual licenses. They work out deals with the players unions. Guys like Jordan and Barry Bonds own there own likenesses and are not part of the players union though they have to abide by the rules of the CBA as well. emblurr
The Jordan rules. Bit like the Porsche rules with EA.
