Who Drafted You? (My Player) Happy?

Portland here as well. Luckily, I got the starter position early (3rd game of season I think). However, I got some competition versus Damian Lillard for Rookie of the Year. While I average 25+ points per game, he gets around the same amount of points AND tons of rebounds and assists. I only average a couple of those despite playing 40 minutes a game. Just can never find an open man nor defend near the basket.

I'm happy with the team though. Damian is one great play but I am a big fan of LaMarcus Aldridge. He's the one who usually helps me get assists.

I'm thinking of asking for a trade after my contract expires. Hopefully to the Mavericks or Spurs, both my favorite teams.

I got drafted by the Hornets (soon to be Pelicans ) at 10 overall? Or maybe it was 11 overall. Anyways, once I became the starter I was happy. Initially I was fighting for a starting spot with Grevis Vasquez (who is the biggest ball hog on the planet in this game!) AND Austin Rivers. Now we run the floor and oop it to Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon until the CPU figures it out haha My team is 31-13 at the moment and first in the Western Conference, so I've got to be happy with that!

Pelicans. Oh, the horror....

At 16-5 in Portland, i'm still happy, but i can't stand two things.

1)Being subbed at PF, and SG. It's hard defending opposing PF's when i don't even know where i should be on the floor at that position, and 2) How we get penalized for every little thing. There was a new penalty, but i can't remember, but i was in full WTF? mode. I have 0. ZERO A+ games. 2 A- games, but that doesn't count in your HOF requirement list.

I decided to just go for B+ games and try to lead the league in assists, PPG, steals and double-doubles, then try for the 50 A+ games later in my career.

Drafted 14th by the Bucks I believe (Might've been 13th) as a center. Just finished my first season, we were 78-4 and averaged really good numbers (100+ points a game, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks, 4 assists on a 48 minute game). I was pretty upset for a while. I maxed out on minutes (~35) early in the season, then Ellis and Illyasova were traded for Steve Nash. For whatever reason, they made me starting PF and Dalembert starting C, and that resulted in my having about 29 minutes a game. That lasted for a while, and the coach has finally decided to give me 6 more minutes.

I got drafted in the same spot as you. Unfortunately, I'm a SG. Well, supposed to be, but they play me at SF the majority of the time. Anyway, I have to deal with Vasquez every game. Seriously, he finds a way to frustrate me every single game. He always seems to force a terrible shot or pass. Surprisingly, he does have quite a few assists, though. He can also make some nice shots when he drives to the hoop. He's mostly annoying, though. You can call for the pass multiple times and be wide open and he still won't pass the ball.

I was drafted #10 by the Hornets. The funny part is that I was trying to drafted by the Bobcats, So I traded all the PG's away from the bobcats and made the Hornets roster full of Elite PG's. So I was surprised to have my made player PG be drafted by the Hornets who already had 10 PG's.

I just started a new player. In the rookie game, I had 29pts, 7 reb, 6 asst, and 4 stls as a 6'7 3pt shooting PG. I was draft #3 by the Wizards.

As a PG, I got drafted by the Bucks and started out playing behind Monta and Jennings. Worked out pretty well, until I was able to upgrade my scoring abilities more I could feed whoever I was playing with, both capable scorers. Ellis is a lot better in the game than he is in real life. :p

Eventually I took over the starting PG spot and moved Jennings to the bench. When the GM asked my opinion for trades, I requested LaMarcus Aldridge from Portland and they traded Jennings and Gooden for him. Dude's a beast, and me, Ellis, and LMA won the chip. In the off-season we signed JR Smith, so our starting five was me, Smith, Ellis, LMA, and Sanders, but they traded Monta for Paul George. George is really good when I sim games, but when I actually play them he's surprisingly passive and always ends up passing off instead of driving to the basket or taking pretty open jump shots. Doesn't matter, of course, Smith is more than willing to take shots when I pass to him and he's pretty solid from 3.

Currently in my 3rd season and I've only been playing key games. Currently 1st in the East and only three games behind OKC for the best record. The rest of the East is terrible, though, Dwight went to Detroit but they're garbage, and Lebron left Miami and went to the Lakers (lol!) and the Heat are second-to-last with just Bosh and Wade. Melo went to Dallas, so pretty much the only other superstar in the East is Rose, heh.

I started playing this game again, and went back into my Mycareer and re-remembered that I was drafted as a lottery pick by the raptors.. :o:mad::rolleyes: I'm not sure what pick it was, but i don't think it was top 5. I played a few games and we lost each one. We are now 0-8. hahaha they/we are soooo bad, but as a pg/3pt specialist I'm dropping mad treys. This game is still pretty fun, but I find it hilarious how bad this team is. Wish the dribbling was a little more user friendly though.

Phoenix at #13 - happy with it

Getting utterly trounced online, can't get 1 win nevermind 5 in a row ^^

How the hell do you intercept a pass in this game?

Others keep doing constantly, but I can't intercept a damn thing

Edit : had to restart due to my CAL roster somehow ending up in MyCareer?

That meant the Bobcats had a 99 everywhere Olajuwon...

And the Hornets, well, they were just a little OP'd too

I only hit "Reset Roster" twice in a row before starting MyCareer!

Wanted to be sure... By clearly that was that not enough.

So I deleted all roster & game saves & started again

Got PotG in the showcase this time, result = 12th pick, Rockets

I was enjoying the Suns dammit, plenty of minutes

Wasted 10k VC with this rubbish too

Restarted again just because Rockets no thanks

Great showcase & told every team but the Suns to bugger off

Back where I belong :)

Proving too easy due to farming about 35k VC

Pretty much MVP already with just 8 games ^^

Not sure I want to push the difficulty up though,

since HoF requirements will take ages already
