ROADMAP:

Overview:

- Estimated trophy difficulty: Pending

- Offline: 40 (32(B), 5(S), 2(G), 1(P))

- Online: 9 (6(B), 2(S), 1(G))

- Approximate amount of time to (P): Platinum unattainable at this time.

- Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1+ (You can replay any event that you haven't won.)

- Number of missable trophies: None. However, Heart of a champion is much easier if you obtain it first.

- Glitched trophies: 1 - And who's the best?

- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes discovered.

- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No. The game starts on Medium difficulty. You can change it to Easy if you are struggling or Hard if you want more of a challenge.

Step 0: Heart of a champion

By completing tournament mode, you gain an automatic increase in rank, making it more difficult to find players ranked above you. You can either complete this trophy now or wait until after completing the single player mode and delete your save file and then try to obtain this trophy. Also, if you are a PS+ member, you can copy your save data to the online storage, delete it and then restore it after obtaining the trophy.

Step 1: Tournament Mode

On the first race alone you can earn 6 trophies: Newbie coming!, Dominator, Wrecked God, Airborne, Pressing hard, & Brave, brave Sir Robin. Progress through the tournament and try to win Gold Medals on every event to keep from coming back to them later. Also, for the Native trophies, make sure during the Stunt & Timed events that you win EVERY event (some events have multiple races each) or write down which ones you lose. If not, you will end up short on winning all 12 events for a certain Native trophy and since you won't know which you are missing, you will have to race all Stunt & Timed events again until each trophy unlocks.

Step 2: Time Attack Mode

During this step you will be trying to beat the developers best time for each of the 14 tracks. This is best attempted after completing the tournament mode due to having all the parts unlocked. See Faster than you, guys for more info.

Step 3: Online Mode

There are 9 online trophies. Also to unlock Boost master, you must complete the WATCH YOUR BACK! boost feat online. These trophies range in difficulty with the hardest being Not a scratch!. It is highly recommended that you boost all of these trophies due to the lack of players online.

Step 4: Clean-up

If you have been following my guide and have obtained all of the trophies along the way, you should only need a few more trophies. Simply follow each trophy's guide.

You can check your trophy progress by going to GARAGE > TROPHIES.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/000.jpg Got it all! (P)

Unlock all other 48 trophies

Currently unattainable due to And who's the best? being glitched.

Win at least a Bronze Medal in all the Amateur World Cups in Tournament mode

Each of the Amateur World Cups consist of 3 events (Andes consists of 2). You get 1000 points for 1st, 900 for 2nd, 800 for 3rd, and so on. All you need to do is be in the top 3 points overall in all Amateur World Cups to unlock this trophy. However, for the Golden guy trophy, you will need to finish 1st place overall in all tournament events.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/008.jpg Stunt Mania competition medalist (B)

Win at least a Bronze Medal in the Stunt Cup in Tournament mode

The Stunt Cup consists of 5 tracks: Sawmill, Fairy Forest, Seaside, Railroad, & Wild West. In Stunt mode you score points for each boost feat you earn. Also, once the first racer crosses the finish line, everyone else's score will start dropping until they cross the finish line. So it is possible to be in second place in points and cross the finish line first and end up winning because the person in first place lost enough points before crossing the line. However, it is also possible to cross the line first, be in first place in points, and the 2nd place person gain enough points to take first place away from you. You get 1000 points for 1st, 900 for 2nd, 800 for 3rd, and so on. All you need to do is be in the top 3 points overall to unlock this trophy. However, for the Golden guy trophy, you will need to finish 1st place overall in all tournament events.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/009.jpg Afterburner competition medalist (B)

Win at least a Bronze Medal in the Burner Cup in Tournament mode

The Burner Cup consists of 6 tracks: Mist, Treetops, Red Hot, Ruins, Railroad, Wild West. These are time trial events. There are no other competitors. You have to get to the each checkpoint and finish line before time runs out.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/010.jpg Pro World Cup medalist (B)

Unlock The Grand Finale in Tournament mode

Awarded after completing the Stunt Cup, Off-Road Masters Cup, & the Burner Cup.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/011.jpg Dirt devil (G)

Win at least a Bronze Medal in the Tournament

The Grand Finale consists of 8 events. They are all Simple Race events. Also, the Boost Madness mutator is on which means you have unlimited boost. Some of these events can be a bit tricky, even on easy, unless you have the tracks memorized. The computer players will use a lot of boosting making it difficult to keep up with them unless you are boosting yourself. You get 1000 points for 1st, 900 for 2nd, 800 for 3rd, and so on. All you need to do is be in the top 3 points overall to unlock this trophy. However, for the Golden guy trophy, you will need to finish 1st place overall in all tournament events.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/001.jpg Newbie coming! (B)

Win your first nail'd event

Simply win an event.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/041.jpg Bronze collector (B)

Win at least a Bronze medal in each of 49 Tournament events

see Golden guy

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/038.jpg Runner up (S)

Win at least a Silver medal in each of 49 Tournament events

see Golden guy

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/040.jpg Golden guy (G)

Win all 49 Tournament gold medals

Self-explanatory. If you are struggling on a certain event, you can lower the difficulty down to easy. If you are still struggling on easy, try customizing your vehicle to suit whatever track type you are racing. For instance, if you are struggling on an event with the Boost Madness mutator on, make sure your boost acceleration is high and your boost regeneration & boost capacity are low since you have unlimited boost (very helpful in The Grand Finale).

MISCELLANEOUS TROPHIES

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/002.jpg Just started (B)

Race for more than one hour

Simply race for over an hour.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/012.jpg Competitor (S)

Win 10 events in a row

Simply win 10 events in a row. I did this by racing the first race 10 times. The AI is extremely easy and every time I won by a margin of over 10 seconds.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/036.jpg Dominator (B)

Win race by more than 5.0 sec.

This is easily done on the first track. It is pretty easy to build up as much as a 15 second lead since the AI extremely easy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/029.jpg Wrecked God (B)

Win a tournament race in which you crashed at least 5 times

This is easily done on the first track. It is pretty easy to wreck multiple times (I wrecked almost 20 times) and still win this race with a large lead.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/013.jpg Glider (B)

Fly more than 10 kilometers / 6.2 miles

This is cumulative. Basically every time you jump, it will add to your total. You will get this very early on. I actually got this while continuously playing the first race working on my Competitor trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/026.jpg Globetrotter (B)

Drive a total of 1,000 km / 621 mi

Simply drive 1,000 km / 621 mi. This is cumulative but will take some time. You will get this while completing all of the races in tournament mode.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/035.jpg Still alive! (B)

Wreck your vehicle 250 times

This is cumulative. Depending on your skill level, you may get this while going for your tournament wins or if you are really good you may have to race some extra races and crash a lot.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/014.jpg Boost expert (B)

Earn at least 200 Boost Feats

This is cumulative. Every time you earn a Boost Feat, it will add to your total. You will get this very early on. I actually got this while continuously playing the first race working on my Competitor trophy. See Boost master for a complete list of Boost Feats.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/015.jpg Boost master (B)

Earn all possible types of Boost Feats

Here is all of the Boost Feats + (amount of boost added to your gauge):

BOOST MANIAC - empty your boost tank by boosting longer than 8 seconds on the ground (30%)

JUMPER - jump much further than an average jump in a given place on the track (30%)

LOOKING DOWN ON THEM - pass through a shaped curve or tunnel driving upside down for a moment (50%)

MONSTER MTX - smash an opponent by landing on them (100%)

nail'd EXPERT - drive flawlessly through a high difficulty part of the track (30%)

nail'd FAN - drive flawlessly through a medium difficulty part of the track (20%)

OFF-ROAD RAGE - smash another vehicle (40%)

PUNCH BAG - get destroyed by opponents 3 times during the race (50%)

SMASH MASTER - smash 4 opponents in a single race (60%)

SNAIL - drive in the last position for more than 30 seconds (50%)

SNIPER - drive or fly through a narrow window / gap (fire ring) (30%)

SPEED MASTER - drive through a checkpoint at high speed (20%)

SWEET REVENGE - smash the opponent who smashed you before (60%)

TOUCHDOWN - land smoothly (on all wheels) after a jump (20%)

WATCH YOUR BACK! - smash the opponent who smashed you before (multiplayer only) (50%)

WHEELIE - drive on rear wheels for more than 3 seconds (20%)

Simply complete them all and the trophy is yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/024.jpg Flying monster (B)

Perform 20 Monster MTX boost feats

Simply earn the Monster MTX boost feat (smash an opponent by landing on them) 20 times.

If you have not earned this after completing the tournament mode, I recommend doing Simple Race on Dambuster with Boost Madness mutator turned on. All of the opponents are still grouped together at the first jump increasing your odds of landing on one. Also, after you land, you can restart the race and try it again and you will not lose any you have already earned. I did it this way and it took me about 10 minutes to earn the 6 that I needed for the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/025.jpg Flawless driver (B)

Perform 20 nail'd Expert boost feats

Simply earn the nail'd Expert boost feat (drive flawlessly through a high difficulty part of the track) 20 times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/027.jpg Judgement Day (B)

Gain a Off-road rage boost feat 50 times

Simply earn the Off-road Rage boost feat (smash another vehicle) 50 times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/034.jpg Stuntman (B)

Fly more than 260 meters / 853 feet in a single jump

This is actually very easy if you know where to do it. Go to GO OFF-ROAD > QUICK EVENT.

Game Mode: Simple Race, Track: Wild West, AI Players: 1, Boost Madness: Yes, No Collision: Yes

At the start of the race go to the right and then you will come to a big jump. Boost and pull back when you jump. As you are falling, you need to use boost and steer through the fire ring. The trophy should unlock when you land. Just make sure you go through the ring to get the distance needed.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/046.jpg Quick like a bunny (B)

Perform 5 boost feats in less than 10sec.

This one is actually tricky. It requires luck and skill. The only place I was able to obtain this on was Aerial. When you land the first big jump (where all the hot air balloons are), try to get TOUCHDOWN (#1). Drive thru the gate for NAIL'D FAN (#2) and boost thru the checkpoint for SPEED MASTER (#3). Hit the jump and try to land on the top area and drive thru another gate for NAIL'D FAN (#4). Jump down and try to get TOUCHDOWN (#5). This will require some practice to get.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/016.jpg Beat Jasiu (S)

Beat Jasiu's time of 2:37 on Aqueducts in simple race with no mutators

This is best done after completing the tournament mode due to having all of the parts unlocked. I recommend setting up your vehicle with high acceleration, high boost acceleration, & high ground turning. There are no jumps that require a lot of air turning. Also, put more emphasis on Boost Regeneration rather than Boost Capacity and simply use the boost as you get it. Still this will take practice to obtain.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/028.jpg Brave, brave Sir Robin (B)

Find a shortcut that leads to a three headed knight statue

Located in Railroad. Towards the end of the lap, there is a spot where you drive under a train bridge, make an immediate right and then drive under a pipe. After the pipe, there are train tracks beside you on your left. Follow the train tracks (you may have to slow and let the train pass) to the tunnel and go up the hill beside the tunnel. The three headed knight statue is just past the tunnel.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/018.jpg Airborne (B)

Gain a boost feat using air control

Easily obtained on the first track. Simply steer your vehicle through one of the fire rings in the air.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/019.jpg Pressing hard (B)

Gain a boost feat using pressure control

Simply pull back on the thumbstick and pop a wheelie. Earn a Wheelie Boost Feat and the trophy is yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/045.jpg Native of Arizona (B)

Win races on all Arizona tracks in all modes

Arizona has 4 tracks: Crash Site, Dambuster, Railroad, & Wild West.

See Native of the Andes for more.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/044.jpg Native of Yosemite (B)

Win races on all Yosemite tracks in all modes

Yosemite has 4 tracks: Fairy Forest, Mist, Sawmill, & Treetops.

See Native of the Andes for more.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/042.jpg Native of Greece (B)

Win races on all Greece tracks in all modes

Greece has 4 tracks: Aqueducts, Red Hot, Ruins, & Seaside.

See Native of the Andes for more.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/043.jpg Native of the Andes (B)

Win races on all Andes tracks in all modes

Andes has 2 tracks: Aerial & Mountain Creek.

Win on each track in each game mode (Simple Race, Stunt Challenge, & Time Challenge) to unlock the trophy. You can check your progress under the Trophy menu, but it does not tell you which events you have won, it just tells you how many.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/030.jpg And who's the best? (S)

Win races on all tracks in all modes

At this time, there appears no way to get this trophy. In the trophy menu, it shows a requirement of 70 wins. After winning races on all tracks in all modes, you will have 42 wins. The other 28 wins is presumably winning on each of the 14 tracks in online game modes, however the online wins do not add to this total. I have contacted the developer and am awaiting a response.

TIME ATTACK MODE TROPHIES

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/031.jpg Working on it, guys (B)

Beat developer bests on 4 tracks

see Faster than you, guys

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/032.jpg Got you, guys (B)

Beat developer bests on 8 tracks

see Faster than you, guys

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/033.jpg Faster than you, guys (B)

Beat developer bests on all tracks

These are best attempted after completing the tournament mode and unlocking all the parts. All I can say is practice, practice, practice. Some of these can be difficult depending on your skill level. You may want to use a Developer Ghost, as I find that it makes it easier.

ONLINE TROPHIES

The online portion of this game is very dead. I would recommend finding some boosting partners here:

Trophy Boosting Thread

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/017.jpg Crush master (B)

Smash at least 100 opponents in multiplayer races

Self explanatory. Simply crash 100 opponents while playing online.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/021.jpg Unwelcome guest (B)

Play and win 30 online events you have not created

When you go into the online menu, select "Find A Game". Win 30 events that you have not created to unlock the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/022.jpg Home sweet home (B)

Play and win 20 online events you have created

When you go into the online menu, select "Create A Game". Win 20 events that you have created to unlock the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/020.jpg Dangerous maniac! (S)

Be at least 3rd in 100 online events

see A true winner

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/039.jpg A true winner (G)

Win 100 online races

Self explanatory. Simply win 100 races while playing online.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/047.jpg Never lose faith (B)

Win an online race in which you were last after the first half of the track

Self explanatory. Just to be safe I would recommend trying this on a race with 3 laps and waiting until the 3rd lap to get into first place. As with all other online trophies, boosting is highly recommended.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/048.jpg The great battle of our time (B)

Win an online race in which you smashed two opponents and were smashed twice

Requires 3 people. Just make sure that you smash both opponents, not the same one twice. As with all other online trophies, boosting is highly recommended.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/037.jpg Heart of a champion (B)

Win an online race with 5 other, higher classified players

Self explanatory. As mentioned in the roadmap, make sure to complete this before completing the tournament mode. If not you will receive an automatic increase in rank making it harder to find 5 other, higher classified players. If you choose to complete the tournament mode first, delete your save file and then try to obtain this trophy. Also, if you are a PS+ member, you can copy your save data to the online storage, delete it, and then restore it after obtaining the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/540/023.jpg Not a scratch! (S)

Win 5 online events in a row without crashing

Self explanatory. This trophy is very difficult to unlock even with boosting. I highly recommend racing a track that you have memorized. Railroad is a very easy track to race without crashing.

car??? its atv or bike... use the atv

It's actually better to use the motorbike for the majority of the races. There's less chance that people can crush you and you can fit through smaller gaps. This is especially helpful when you race in Greece. There are a few tracks where you can cut corners big time if your small enough. They are passable with the atv, but it's very very tight!
