RYNO123
Does anyone know of a quick and simple way to get these trophies without persuading a friend to buy a vita and a copy of the game and then going to their house to boost the trophies? I'm stumped on this one.
Badgeking
I would like to know as well. I really that I don't need to find somebody else with a Vita AND this game just to get these trophies because that is just plain stupid. There has to be a way to get them some other way... NS-4701
I'm sorry, do you not use Near on your Vita? I've added like 20+ friends who live near me. Several of which own the game, or have rented it. Just meet up with one of them and play a few races to earn the trophies.
Badgeking
I have checked near and only have 1 person near me with a vita and he does not have (nor want) the game. Getting these two is going to be a pain...
osakamitsu
Well I think I saw one other person on here from St. Louis... Anyone else? I have 30-40 people on my near but only a couple have this game.
NS-4701
The best advice I can give is start chatting with the people on Near. That's what I did, the trophies are way easy to get if you can find somebody. Even if they rent the game and do two races with you and return it, you'll get the trophy. osakamitsu
I dont really know how ad hoc works. how close do the vitas have to be? same room? Or just someone on near...??
knoxville363
I always thought it was someone in close vicinity to you...I didn't think you could use NEAR. IF you can't use NEAR, I will go to Gamestop and ask an employee to help me out lol

karoof316
game stop will help get the ad hoc trophy with you ?????????????
knoxville363
game stop will help get the ad hoc trophy with you ????????????? that was just an idea...I have no clue. When you start ad hoc, it disconnects you from whatever network you are on SO I am guessing NEAR would not work for this trophy. I saw someone post that they were close to plat...how did you get the trophy?

discostu668
is there any way to get any of the ad hoc trophies if, say, you don't know anyone else with a vita, and no one in your area is playing the game? how does the cross-platform functionality work? knoxville363
my understanding is this only works with VITA AND VITA both playing modnation
Romancekills
Just an idea but do u think u could ad hoc race the demo unit at GameStop?
mcnichoj
1. Buy another Vita+ModNation 2. Boost trophies 3. Return the extra Vita/game to store within however much time your store allows for returns 4. PLATINUM!

ycheah
Just an idea but do u think u could ad hoc race the demo unit at GameStop? unfortunately the demo doesn´t offer a glimpse into the ad-hoc mode you can only race in ad-hoc if you race another fullversion of the game
CoolDust
Has anyone tried AdhocParty for PS3? Its a tool that lets you play Adhoc through the internet. Im not sure if the Vita is even supported as the App is 4 years old but its worth a shot! EDIT: Well ive been looking into it and it turns out AdhocParty is compatible with Vita! Nobody has confirmed if Modnation is compatible though, im going to try Mortal Kombat as its the only Adhoc game i have. Cully
To connect via Ad Hoc, you must be very close. You can't use anyone from "near" unless you physically meet up. I got about 30-50 meters range with it before it died on me.
chubbylv1
I have 3 PS VITA in my house, I also have a gamefly account, I want to know if I can get Xp of this?
Plaxinator
Glad I read this thread first. Was going to add this to my shopping list, I don't think I'm going to bother now! There are a couple of people on Near on it, but as a 30+ adult female I think it's gonna look a bit odd meeting up with a, presumably, teenage boy or girl to play this lol. Valormere
Has anyone looked into xlink Kai? You can play psp ad-hoc games over the internet using just your pc, wondering if it works with Vita as well? Can be found at XLink Kai: Evolution VII. Global Network Gaming.
