Roadmap

Overview:

 • Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 (Trophy Difficulty Rating)
 • Offline trophies: 9 (5(B), 3(S), 1(G)) (but Sir-Links-a-Lot and Fusion Fanatic can be earned while boosting)
 • Online trophies: 3 ((B), 1(S))
 • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 35-45 hours (depending on skill and luck) (Estimated Time to 100%)
 • Minimum number of playthroughs: One Campaign playthrough + several online matches
 • Number of missable trophies: None
 • Glitched trophies: Maybe Hero of Might and Magic
 • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
 • Do trophies stack?: No
 • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: None available.

Introduction:

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a mix between Critter Crunch, Bejeweled and Puzzle Quest. It blends the Puzzle, Strategy and RPG genres into a unique game. You will follow the story of 5 children going on a quest against an evil threat. The trophies are easy to get but can require a lot of exploration and a bit a grinding.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Campaign (30-40 hours)

There are 5 different campaigns, each one focusing on a different character. You will learn all the game basics while going through the first campaign. Try to complete as much side quests as you can while playing, so you won't have to go back later. They will also make your way in the main quest easier as you will earn experience points and artifacts.

Since this is the important part of the game, you should have unlocked most of the trophies after this step.

Step 2: Multiplayer (1-2 hours if boosting; more otherwise)

There are 3 online trophies and they are easily boostable. You will need one partner for 'Online Hero' and 'Legend of Battles' and three partners for 'Team Player'. Check this thread if you want to boost. Otherwise, you will need skill and luck to get these trophies.

Special Step: 'Sir-Links-a-Lot' and 'Fusion Fanatic' trophies (10-20 minutes)

These trophies can be earned in any mode. If you didn't get them while playing through the campaign, there are two options: playing in offline multiplayer with two controllers or boosting them with a partner in online multiplayer. Check the trophies description for more details.

Closing notes:

If you are a fan of puzzle games, you should definitely buy this game. The game mechanics are pretty original and the graphics are really nice, even if they are in 2D. If you want to share tips, strategies, complaints etc. feel free to comment. If you have really important remarks about this guide (e.g. better way to get a trophy) and we didn't reply on this thread, then send me or GODCHILD1020 a private message.

Thank you for reading and have fun!

Campaign trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/05.jpg Bounty Hunter (B)

Complete all bounty side quests

You will find bounty side quests in the first 4 of the 5 campaigns of the game. These side quests consist of hunting down criminals and they will be given to you by Bounty Agents. The Bounty targets will have a yellow bag with a $ on it above their head once you receive the missions from the Bounty Agents.

You can find a detailed guide here: LINK

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/07.jpg Collect 'em all! (B)

Unlock all special units

:tagcollectible:

Each hero in the campaign has different categories of units:

• Core (1 square)

• Elite (2 square tall)

• Champion (2x2 square)

• Special (can be either an Elite or a Champion)

Special units can only be bought from dwellings which are usually inside caves. There will be a guardian that you need to defeat at the caves' entrance.

Win a battle in the Sylvan campaign

:tagstory:

The first fights in the Prologue won't give you the trophy since they rather serve as tutorials.
You will get this trophy after the fight where you receive the Pixy units. This is very first fight of the Sylvan campaign.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/02.jpg Unstoppable Army (S)

Reach a Hero level of 10 and max out all units to level 5 in any Campaign

This trophy is rather time consuming. There aren't enough experience points to level up all your units if you just complete all the quests in any campaign so you must find random encounters. The common places to find them are caves indicated by a wood sign with crossing swords on it.

Notes:

• To level up your units, you have to 'equip' them. If they aren't 'equipped' then they won't earn XP. To equip a unit, press :triangle: (open 'Hero' menu) then :r1: (switch to the 'Units' menu). After that, select the unit you want to equip with :cross: and choose its slot.

• Elite (2-square-tall) and Champion (2x2 square) units have a limited capacity (e.g. you can only have 10 'Deer' units at max). The number of Elite and Champion units you have can be seen in the 'Units' menu. If you lose too many of them during fights, their number will drop to zero and they won't get XP anymore.

• You also need to level up the special unit to get the trophy.

• You should spend less time on this trophy if you work on it in the second campaign (credit to Teravius)
• You shouldn't try to get the trophy with Aidan (main character of the 4th campaign) as you will fight him later in the game. Leveling him and all his units will make the fight harder.

Complete all Battle Puzzles in each Campaign

You will find bounty Battle Puzzles in the first 4 of the 5 campaigns of the game. Battle Puzzles are mini fights given to you by a person that is inside a shop or any other place. They will have a puzzle icon above their head.

In a Battle Puzzle you have one turn to defeat all the opposing enemies, While each turn you can move at least three times, if you form your links correctly, you can gain an extra move or two to continue the turn but one wrong move can end it for you.

Notes:

Collect all artifacts of each campaign

:tagcollectible:

Artifacts are objects with various effects. It can affect your Hero, your enemies, the units, etc. You will find 10 artifacts in each campaign. You earn some just by playing through the main quest but most of the time, you will need to complete side quests (Battle Puzzles, Bounty side quests etc).

Notes:

• You have to equip an artifact to apply its effect. You can equip an artifact just after you found it. Otherwise, you need to go to the 'Artifacts' menu (press :triangle: then :l1:) and select it by pressing :cross:.

• You can only equip one artifact at a time.

You can find a detailed guide here: LINK

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/01.jpg Hero of Might and Magic (G)

Complete all main quest and side quest objectives in all Campaigns

:tagglitched:

You will need to finish completely the campaign to get this trophy. Main quest objectives are always shown on the map (press :square: when controlling the heroes). Side quest objectives include Battle Puzzles, Bounty side quests and other miscellaneous side quests represented by silver crossing swords above NPCs head. Check Bounty Hunter, Collect 'em all!, Skilled Strategist and Treasure Hunter for more information.

Tip for the last Boss battle (credit to GODCHILD1020):
Here is the easiest way to beat the last boss: Use the Absorb Circlet artifact and only the lvl 5 Golem units (no Elite nor Champion). Make walls and break them down to gain Mana Points quickly. As soon as the spell is charged, use it. It deals a great deal of damage and lower the damage the boss would do, while still having enough walls up to take any attacks the boss could do. Check the video below to see how to use this strategy.

Thanks to Bob Hall for the video.

Important Note: Players from our sister site (XBA.org) have said that this trophy might be glitched. To avoid this, be sure to complete every side quest (Bounty, Battle Puzzle etc) in all campaigns before fighting against the last boss.

Multiplayer trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/08.jpg Online Hero (B)

Win a battle in 1 vs. 1 online mode

:tagonline::tagmulti:

To access the online mode, from the game main menu, select Multiplayer then PlayStation®Network. This trophy can be hard if you don't boost it. You will need a bit of luck and you will need to choose your units carefully. The Sylvan faction is the easiest to play with so if you want to get this trophy without boosting, take this one. Otherwise, try to find a partner on the boosting thread.

Notes:

• If you are boosting, then the player who will host the game needs to select from the main menu 'Multiplayer' then 'PlayStation®Network' then 'Host'. Thereafter he/she should use these settings:

Game Type: 1 vs 1

Artifacts: Off or On (your choice)

Clock: Off

Invite only: Yes

Once the lobby is made, the host should 'Invite Friends' (press :square:). To join, from the main menu, the partner selects 'Multiplayer' then 'PlayStation®Network' then 'Check Invite'.

• There is a really slight chance for you to get this trophy if your opponent quits the match.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/11.jpg Team Player (B)

Win a battle in 2 vs. 2 online COOP mode

:tagonline::tagmulti::tagcoop:

Otherwise, seek 3 other people who also need this trophy on the boosting thread.

Notes:

• If you are boosting, the player who will host the game needs to select from the main menu 'Multiplayer' then 'PlayStation®Network' then 'Host'. Thereafter he/she should use these settings:

Game Type: 2 vs 2

Artifacts: Off or On (your choice)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/03.jpg Legend of Battles (S)

Reach Level 10 in online multiplayer mode

:tagonline::tagmulti:

You have to get around 10,000 experience points to reach Level 10 in online multiplayer mode. Play 1 vs. 1 matches because they are quicker and less frustrating than 2 vs. 2 games. Winning matches will give you more XP towards your total level, while losing matches will earn you less XP, but still helps you towards your level 10. Getting winning streaks will help you get XP even faster. Check Online Hero for further details.

Miscellaneous trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/09.jpg Sir-Links-a-Lot (B)

Create a link of 5+ formations in battle

:tagoffon:

To obtain this trophy you will need to form 5 groups of units having the same color. Each unit formation needs some turns before launching their attack. This is called a Charge Time. If you manage to make a formation that will have the same Charge Time of another one of the same color (i.e they will need the same number of turns to launch their attack), you will create a link. Link at least 5 formations and you will unlock this trophy.

Notes:

• While going for this trophy, you should use only one Core unit (i.e no Elite, Champion or different Core units)

• You will know when you have successfully linked the unit formations as they will have a little chain icon on them.

• This trophy can be earned in any mode but here are the easiest ways:

Requires two controllers

The easiest way to do this is to go to the main menu 'Multiplayer' then 'Offline' to make a two players offline match against yourself.

Requires Online and Boosting Partner:

You can also get this trophy with an online partner, just form the links, while the other player does the same, Just make sure none of you attack the other until the trophy pops.

• Here is a video on how to achieve this trophy and also Fusion Fanatic.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpthnyPOMPQ]Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - Sir-Links & Fusion Fanatic[/ame]

Thanks to GameGuideCentral.com for the video.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/10.jpg Fusion Fanatic (B)

Triple fuse an attack formation in battle

:tagoffon:

In order to obtain this trophy you will need to have the same colored unit formation right behind another unit formation. The best way to do this is to use a unit that takes about 3-4 turns before attacking, that way you can get them all in within the 3-4 turns. It's best to plan it out before going forth with a fusion.

Notes:

• While going for this trophy, you should use only one Core unit (i.e no Elite, Champion, or different Core units)

• You will know when you have successfully fuse unit formations as the life bar of the fused formation will be yellow instead of blue.

• Just like the Sir-Links-a-Lot trophy, you can get this trophy in any mode but boosting or playing with the controllers in Multiplayer are the easiest ways.

• The video above shows how to get this trophy.

Roadmap

Overview:

 • Estimated trophy difficulty: 1/10 (personal opinion)
 • Offline trophies: 2 (2(B))
 • Online trophies: 0
 • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 10-20 minutes
 • Minimum number of playthroughs: None
 • Number of missable trophies: None
 • Glitched trophies: None
 • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
 • Do trophies stack?: No
 • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: None available.

Introduction:

The Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes DLC (judiciously) titled 'I am the Boss' lets you play (in 'Quick Battle' and 'Multiplayer' modes only) with the four Bosses of the game. However they are not as overpowered as in the Campaign. The two bronze trophies are really easy and quick to get, unless you don't have two controllers or don't want to boost them.

Walkthrough:

Special Step: DLC trophies (10-20 minutes)

You can get 'Overkill' in any mode and 'Villains of Might and Magic' in all modes except 'Campaign'. However the easiest options are: playing in offline multiplayer with two controllers or boosting them with a partner in online multiplayer. Check the trophies description for more details.

Closing notes:

The Villain Characters add more variety to this great game but additional Campaign Chapters would have been well appreciated. If you want to share tips, strategies, complaints, etc. feel free to comment. If you have really important remarks about this guide (e.g. better way to get a trophy) and I didn't reply on this thread, then send me a private message.

Thank you for reading and have fun!

DLC trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/13.jpg Villains of Might and Magic (B)

Win a battle using any of the playable Villain Characters

:tagoffon:

The trophy description is pretty self-explanatory. All you need to do is win a battle with one of the four Villain Characters. Each faction except Sylvan is represented by a Villain character so you are free to choose one to your liking.

Notes:

• Even if it seems obvious, you need to buy the DLC in order to unlock this trophy.

• This trophy can be earned in any mode but Campaign. However here are the easiest ways:

Requires two controllers

The easiest way to do this is to go to the main menu 'Multiplayer' then 'Offline' to make a two players offline match against yourself.

Requires Online and Boosting Partner:

You can also get this trophy with an online partner. Check the boosting thread if you want a partner and Online Hero description for boosting settings.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/448/14.jpg Overkill (B)

Deal an additional 100HP of damage to the enemy Hero on the finishing blow

:tagoffon:

To unlock this trophy, you need to finish a battle while doing an extra 100HP damage to your opponent. In other words, if your opponent has X HP left, you will need to deal X + 100 damage on your last blow. Thankfully, you don't have to literally do it on the finishing blow (i.e: last single attack hitting your opponent) but rather on your last "wave" of attacks (DeepEyes pointed this out).

Use Champions (since most of them do 100 or more damages) when your opponent is nearly out of HP and you shouldn't have trouble with this trophy. If you want to be sure, use links, fusions, Elites or even another Champion.

Notes:

• It may not seem obvious but you need to buy the DLC in order to unlock this trophy.

• This trophy can be earned in any mode but here are the easiest ways:

Requires two controllers

The easiest way to do this is to go to the main menu 'Multiplayer' then 'Offline' to make a two players offline match against yourself.

Requires Online and Boosting Partner:

You can also get this trophy with an online partner. Check the boosting thread if you want a partner and Online Hero description for boosting settings.

Great Guide, Video about Sir-links-a-lot helped me greatly! still tried to get it during campagin but its hard in it. Lot of times i got 4-formation chain and was pretty angry about that trophy :)

And umm i'd say that for campagin required time is 30-40h because you need to boost your units to get Unstapable army. I got this in Anwen's Campagin fighting these weak deamons in cave but i was really bored wining all the time :) and even with finishing whole campagin (with side quests) i got lot of work to do to lvlup these units. It tooked me few hours i think.

I have another question, if you are playing coop online and the other 2 people left the game, it counts for the trophy or you need to end the match with all 4 people?

From my experience (I've tried on several accounts), yes you can get it but not always.

Yeah I'll adjust the time. I put 20-30 hours because that was my time when I finished the campaign (for the 2nd time).

The trophy popped up that way for me, but that was after losing the first battle during a 2VS2, the player seen that my partner and I was working better as a team and decided to quit. I got the victory and the trophy. Zetburg and I are talking it over and came to a conclusion, that it may have been a glitch (A good one). We are still deciding on putting it or not. More soon!

It took me almost 10 hours to get all units to level 10/5 after beating the campaign for Anwen. No problem, great game! It took me a total of 40 hours to get 100%. Zetburg and I are talking about a way to get that trophy and Fusion Fanatic in the first campaign of the single player. Stay Tuned!

I must say, I've earned Fuion Fanatic in second campagin. Just on the begining, while after recieving swordsman unit (Godric lvl 2-3) it was lot of easier for me, since Swordsmen have 1 more turn charge time than any Anwen core unit.

I can imagine that there is possible to gain this in Anwen's forest, but without special focusing on this trophy (and setting up units) its MUCH easier in Godric's area.

Yes it's easier to get these trophies with any hero who have core units with a Charge Time of 3. But GC pointed out that in the Sylavan Campaign (Anwen), there is a battle where it's easy to get these trophies (Side quest against a Treant). You must set up your units but due to the special context of the battle, you should have enough time.

Oh it's a really good idea. Never thought about getting trophy in this kind of battles.

Should be doable :)

Edit:

Oh and a one more word about Unstapable Army. As far as for now (finished game) i think bet place to farm up this trophy would be second campagin (Godric's) because after having all quests done my hero was already 10 lvl and got 5 units lvl 5 (3 core +2 elite) and 1 champion lvl 4 and 2 last champs lvl 3 so it defenately decreases time of boosting this trophy. Alas, in this campagin seems to be the greatest number of random encounters (dunno what lvls i always skipped these since i got trophy in Anwen's).

In first campagin i got (after all quests) hero lvl 9 and 4 units lvl 5 and even 1 unit lvl 1 so i got to farm much longer. I think you should give a note about that in trophy description.

Hi! I have one question...
In the guide said that you shouldn't make Aidan to strong because you will fight with him later in the game (In which campaign, in the final one? I'm on third campaign right now =P, I suppose that Aidan's is the fourth campaign, right?), so I was thinking in just doing the story missions for Aidan and not completing bountys and sidequests, but now I read that maybe the gold trophy is glitched and the guide recommends to finish all the bountys/sidequests in all campaigns before fighting with the last boss, right? Well, it's possible to change campaigns and re-take another one before ending the game (fighting the last boss) so you can come back to Aidan's campaign and complete it after figthing with Aidan in the main story in the last campaign (I suppose)? Or is recommended to complete all the sidequests/bountys on Aidan's campaign just to be sure that the gold trophy won't glitch and have a hell of a fight with Aidan when you need to fight with him =P...

Thx for your help =)

You will be able to go on previous campaigns just before the final boss. Just be sure to complete every side quest before fighting the last boss.
Aidan is indeed the character of the 4th campaign. Personally, I did all the side quests during his campaign. Just be sure to not level up his Champion unit 'Abyssal Lord'.If you're not struggling too much in this game, Aidan won't be too hard to beat. Don't read this spoiler if you want to keep some suspense.
You will fight him with Godric only. Since Godric playstyle is based on his superb walls, focus on making fusion attacks with 'Knight' Elite units and building walls and you should be fine.

About the Sir-Links-a-Lot trophy, I didn't know it could be done in 1 vs 1 with two controllers :)

The way I did it was using the artifact of Aiden which gives you 1 extra move each turn. That way it was much easier to set up the pieces. But using 2 controllers is the best way I guess :D.

With the unstoppable army trophy I noticed that Aiden's 'army' had the highest levels when I completed the game. So I just moved from spot to spot inside that last cave (of Aiden's chapter) until I was ambushed. The enemies were mostly level 8 or 9 so I got around 450 xp each battle. And the battles weren't that hard using the overpowered artifact :).

Those are my 2 cents.

Haven fun!

Well, I get all the offline trophies now waiting for the PSN to got back for the online ones =)...

Just for reference it takes me 32 hours to get all the campaign trophies (including links-a-lot and fusion fanatic) so 30-40 hours is a nice guess for the guide =P...

The only problem that I had with the game was that my PS3 turns off (energy problem in my house) when the game was launching, when I re-launch the game appears a message saying "re-installing trophies" and when I look at my list I had lost ALL my trophies (back to 0%), at the moment I had "Bounty Hunter", "Young Hero", "Fusion Fanatic" and "Skilled Strategist", I was in the last campaign and I continue just to see if the other trophies will pop-up or if all my trophies will be locked and I need to restart again... After one hour or so suddenly "Bounty Hunter" and "Skilled Strategist" pops-up, but not "Young Hero" or "Fusion Fanatic", I got "Fusion Fanatic" playing the campaign some minutes later but I didn't get "Young Hero" even after getting "Hero of Might and Magic", I think that maybe with a new game I will get "Young Hero" since this is the first trophy you get but I enter Anwen Campaign and after one random fight in the caves I got the trophie since it was in Anwen's Campaign, so if you see my trophie list when the PSN is back you will see "Bounty Hunter" and "Skilled Strategist" with one minute difference and "Young Hero" after "Hero and Might and Magic" =P....
