Flashback - Soon after, Naomi will say that a new of strain of the disease has been put in Snake and asks if anyone has injected him lately, Snake will say "Him!", in reference to Drebin. Follow the Resistance member until you reach a park, at which point you must go right and follow the park's exterior wall. When you approach the north-east and a path branches right, follow it. You will eventually find the poster hidden behind a series of columns nearby the park wall. Midtown Central Sector: Weapon: Chaff Grenade (3) - Inside the Sewer area. Model Poster - Depending on where you enter Midtown Centre Sector, pass over one of the bridges to the area that leads to a third, lone bridge. As you enter, turn left and the final Akina poster will be posted on a shop door. Midtown N Sector: iPod® Track: On Alert - Midtown N Sector, when the disguised Resistance member joins a party of three PMC soldiers, the last one with him will eventually turn to a dead-end alleyway. Follow him there, and the track will be found here. After trailing Resistance Member: Flashback - All the way at the end during the eighth cinematic after the save option, a mysterious figure will be walking around. Flashback - A few seconds after the Naomi discussion, Snake will reminisce about using cardkeys. iPod® Track: Metal Gear 20 Year History: Part 2 - Nuclear Warhead Storage Building B2, when sneaking back to the elevator, in a laboratory. Snowfield and Communications Tower: Weapon: Rail Gun - Obtained automatically after defeating Crying Wolf in Act 4. Weapon: Mk. 23 - Can be dropped by FROGS during the Advent Palace section of Act 1, or atop one of the two comms towers after defeating Crying Wolf in Act 4. iPod® Track: The Best Is Yet To Come - Snowfield and Communications Tower, before you enter the next area. This is also the area where Otacon interrupts with the skit on switching discs. FaceCamo: Crying Beauty - Defeat Crying Beauty non-lethally in Act 4 (Shadow Moses Island). Doll: Crying Wolf - During the fight with Crying Wolf at Shadow Moses (Act 4), use non-lethal attacks to drop her stamina until the fight with her second form - Crying Beauty - commences. Once the second form appears, the doll can be found by looking backwards from the starting position of the battle. Flashback - After defeating Crying Wolf and having Drebin tell you her story, Otacon/Mk. III will be accessing a door and say "Welcome home, Wolf." Casting Facility: iPod® Track: Yell "Dead Cell" - Casting Facility North, after running across the conveyor belt, pick this up before leaving the area. Underground Supply Facility: Flashback - As you enter the facility, Snake will look at the big empty space where Metal Gear Rex once stood. Flashback - After you beat Vamp and the Suicide Gekkos, there'll be a long cinematic involving Naomi, Vamp and Otacon. Towards the end of the cinematic, Otacon will say "Why does it always end this way?". Port Area: Flashback - After defeating Metal Gear Ray, the final cinematics for the Act will ensue. During the second cinematic, Raiden will join and mention Rose. These flashbacks are hidden, so the icon will not show. Flashback - In the cinematics after the previous flashback, Otacon will talk about Sunny and Naomi. Flashback - Soon after the last flashback, Otacon will mention how Sunny's work succeeded the work of Emma. Bow Ship: iPod® Track: Metal Gear Solid Main Theme (The Document Remix) - Ship Bow, a hatch visible from your starting position, crawl through to find this. Command Centre: Weapon: Sorrow Doll - Obtained during the fight with Screaming Mantis by shooting it out of her left hand (blue light). Weapon: Mantis Doll - Obtained during the fight with Screaming Mantis by shooting it out of her right hand (orange light). FaceCamo: Screaming Beauty - Defeat Screaming Beauty non-lethally in Act 5 (Outer Haven). Doll: Screaming Mantis - During the fight with Screaming Mantis at Outer Haven (Act 5), use non-lethal attacks to drop her stamina until the fight with her second form - Screaming Beauty - commences. Once the fight with Screaming Beauty begins, the doll can be found just outside the northern door. Flashback - During the cinematic in which Screaming Mantis is introduced after defeating the Haven Troopers, Snake will confuse her for Psycho Mantis. Flashback - After defeating Screaming Mantis, the ghost of Psycho Mantis will appear, and he will try to read your memory. Flashback - Immediately after this, he will try to vibrate your controller through psychokinesis. It doesn't matter whether your controller is Sixaxis or Dualshock 3, you'll stick get the flashback. Flashback - About 1-2 seconds after the previous flashback ends, another will begin, this time about Naomi. Flashback - After the psychokinesis, the floating armour will explode. This is a hidden flashback of Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind the Metal Gear franchise. Because this is hidden, it is advised you rapidly tap from the moment he starts the psychokinesis until after the next flashback, as this hidden flashback, the next flashback, as well as the previous two flashbacks are all very close together. Flashback - After the above flashbacks, the floating armour of Screaming Mantis will explode and Psycho Mantis will fade away. You'll then hear The Sorrow's voice saying ""the spirit of the warrior will always be with you". Missile Hangar: Flashback - After walking through a few corridors towards the Missile Hangar, you'll see another cinematic of Meryl, this time with Johnny. He will mention that he doesn't have any nanomachines in him. Flashback - Shortly after the above, Meryl will ask Johnny if his lack of nanomachines was what was causing his stomach aches. Flashback - About 10 seconds after the above, Johnny will confess his love for Meryl. 1.7: EPILOGUE - NAKED SIN Flashback - During the fourth cinematic of the Epilogue, Drebin will tell Otacon about how he was a child soldier. 1.8: DEBRIEFING - NAKED SON Flashback - During the third cinematic of the Debriefing, after Big Boss talks about Solidus. Right at the start of the cinematic. Flashback - During the fifth cinematic of the Debriefing, Big Boss will begin listing the members of the Patriots who have died - Para-Medic, EVA, Sigint, Ocelot. Flashback - Later during the same cinematic, Big Boss will kill Zero. Flashback - A short while after killing Zero, Big Boss will mention the FOXDIE that Zero infected Snake with. Flashback - Immediately after, Big Boss will say FOXDIE is what killed both Ocelot and EVA. Flashback - Snake will begin to carry Big Boss towards The Boss' grave, and Big Boss will eventually look down at the Patriot gun. Cinematics without flashbacks can be skipped without affecting the trophy - similarly, cinematics can also be skipped after the last flashbacks have been seen. To initiate a flashback, rapidly tap when the icon appears during a cinematic. The descriptions below will detail the moments during the cinematics when the flashbacks occur. Flashbacks are consecutive across playthroughs. If you miss a few, you will only need to get those few in future playthroughs to earn the trophy. All the flashbacks that occur during gameplay (Audio and Surveillance Camera flashback) are not required. Credit to BIG_B0SS for confirming this. Act 0: 1. Graveyard Location: The fourth and final cinematic for Act 0 is at a graveyard. Snake will salute one of the graves. 2. Graveyard Location: Soon after the above scene, Snake will mention FOXDIE. 3. Cove Valley Village Location: At the start of the cinematic, Snake will be crawling through the grass and will eventually mention Solidus. 17. Cove Valley Village Location: During the same cinematic, Vamp will appear on screen. 18. Power Station - First Cinematic Location: When you meet Drebin again, he will eventually talk about the four B&B Corps - Laughing Octopus, Raging Raven, Crying Wolf and Screaming Mantis. 19. Power Station - First Cinematic Location: Soon after, Snake too will mention the B&B Corps. 20. Power Station - First Cinematic Location: Lastly, Drebin will say "Keep this whole mess in check." 21. Research Lab - First Cinematic Location: Once you meet Naomi, she will mention Shadow Moses Island. 22. Research Lab - Fourth Cinematic Location: During the fourth cinematic after the save option, Snake will eventually mention that FOXDIE killed the Arms Tech President and Liquid Snake, during the Shadow Moses Incident. 23. Research Lab - Fourth Cinematic Location: Soon after, Naomi will say that a new of strain of the disease has been put in Snake and asks if anyone has injected him lately, Snake will say "Him!", in reference to Drebin. 24. Mountain Trail, after Laughing Octopus Location: After Drebin calls you about Laughing Octopus, Snake will begin to analyse the footprints and pull out his knife. 25. Marketplace Location: After completing the Drebin Escape Scene, a cinematic will start in which Drebin will crash. Everyone will get out, with Snake and Naomi standing side by side with Drebin's monkey in between like a child. 26. Marketplace Location: During the same cinematic as the above, Raiden will fight some Gekko. After he defeats them all, he will land on the ground and stand up, talking to Snake silently. Act 3 - Third Sun (Eastern Europe): 27. Mission Briefing - Second Cinematic Location: During the second cinematic, Naomi will talk to Sunny whilst she is cooking. Eventually, Sunny will say "It's my mother", in reference to the photo of Olga Gurlukovich. 28. Mission Briefing - Third Cinematic Location: Eventually once the third cinematic begins, Snake will say "So that's what Liquid was talking about." 29. Mission Briefing - Third Cinematic Location: Snake will look at a blank screen and Naomi will mention that Liquid is already looking for the body of Big Boss in Eastern Europe. 30. Mission Briefing - Third Cinematic Location: Shortly after, Naomi will kneel in front of Raiden. 31. Mission Briefing - Fourth Cinematic Location: Lastly, during the fourth cinematic, Naomi will ask who the pretty girl in Otacon's photo is and ask if it's his girlfriend. He will say it was his sister, Emma. 32. After trailing Resistance Member - Eighth Cinematic Location: All the way at the end during the eighth cinematic after the save option, a mysterious figure will be walking around. It will reveal itself as three Dwarf Gekko, which Big Mama will shoot. 33. After trailing Resistance Member - Eighth Cinematic Location: Soon after, Big Mama will say "Nowadays, anyone with a computer can get combat training." 34. Raging Raven's Tower, before Raging Raven fight Location: Big Mama will be impaled on a metal bar, which she will pull out. 35. Raging Raven's Tower, before Raging Raven fight Location: Before going to fight Raging Raven, Snake will give Big Mama a weapon for protection. She will say "Promise me." 36. Raging Raven's Tower, after Raging Raven fight - Second Cinematic Location: During the cinematic that follows Drebin's call about Raging Raven, Big Mama will walk outside and look at her destroyed bike. Mission Briefing - Fourth Cinematic Location: Later in the cinematic, Snake will say "If Liquid can't use nukes, then what's his plan?". 40. Nuclear Warhead Storage Build B2, Otacon's Laboratory - Third Cinematic Location: After inputting the password and going onto the third cinematic, Snake will look at the lockers where he met Otacon. 41. Nuclear Warhead Storage Build B2, Otacon's Laboratory - Third Cinematic Location: After reminiscing about meeting Otacon, Snake and Otacon will talk about what Naomi did to them. 42. Nuclear Warhead Storage Build B2, Otacon's Laboratory - Third Cinematic Location: After watching the surveillance tape, Otacon will mention REX. 43. Nuclear Warhead Storage Build B2, Otacon's Laboratory - Third Cinematic Location: A few seconds after the Naomi discussion, Snake will reminisce about using cardkeys. 44. Snowfield and Communication Towers, after Crying Wolf fight Location: After defeating Crying Wolf and having Drebin tell you her story, Otacon/Mk. III will be accessing a door and say "Welcome home, Wolf." 45. Underground Supply Facility, before Vamp fight Location: As you enter the facility, Snake will look at the big empty space where Metal Gear Rex once stood. 46. Underground Supply Facility, after Vamp fight Location: After you beat Vamp and the Suicide Gekkos, there'll be a long cinematic involving Naomi, Vamp and Otacon. Towards the end of the cinematic, Otacon will say "Why does it always end this way?". 47. Port Area, after Metal Gear Ray fight - Second Cinematic Location: After defeating Metal Gear Ray, the final cinematics for the Act will ensue. During the second cinematic, Raiden will join and mention Rose. These flashbacks are hidden, so the icon will not show. To be safe, just tap from the moment Raiden mentions Rose until Mei Ling fires on New Haven. Act 5 - Old Sun (Outer Haven): 48. Mission Briefing - First Cinematic Location: A fair way into the first cinematic of the Mission Briefing, Otacon will start discussing Naomi's true intentions. 49. Mission Briefing - Second Cinematic Location: In the cinematics after the previous flashback, Otacon will talk about Sunny and Naomi. 50. Mission Briefing - Second Cinematic Location: Soon after the last flashback, Otacon will mention how Sunny's work succeeded the work of Emma. 51. Command Centre, after Haven Trooper fight Location: During the cinematic in which Screaming Mantis is introduced after defeating the Haven Troopers, Snake will confuse her for Psycho Mantis. 52. Command Centre, after Screaming Mantis fight - First Cinematic Location: After defeating Screaming Mantis, the ghost of Psycho Mantis will appear, and he will try to read your memory. 53. Command Centre, after Screaming Mantis fight - First Cinematic Location: Immediately after this, he will try to vibrate your controller through psychokinesis. It doesn't matter whether your controller is Sixaxis or Dualshock 3, you'll stick get the flashback. 54. Command Centre, after Screaming Mantis fight - First Cinematic Location: About 1-2 seconds after the previous flashback ends, another will begin, this time about Naomi. 55. Command Centre, after Screaming Mantis fight - First Cinematic Location: After the psychokinesis, the floating armour will explode. This is a hidden flashback of Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind the Metal Gear franchise. Because this is hidden, it is advised you rapidly tap from the moment he starts the psychokinesis until after the next flashback, as this hidden flashback, the next flashback, as well as the previous two flashbacks are all very close together. 56. Command Centre, after Screaming Mantis fight - First Cinematic Location: After the above flashbacks, the floating armour of Screaming Mantis will explode and Psycho Mantis will fade away. You'll then hear The Sorrow's voice saying ""the spirit of the warrior will always be with you". 57. Missile Hangar Location: After walking through a few corridors towards the Missile Hangar, you'll see another cinematic of Meryl, this time with Johnny. He will mention that he doesn't have any nanomachines in him. 58. Missile Hangar Location: Shortly after the above, Meryl will ask Johnny if his lack of nanomachines was what was causing his stomach aches. 59. Missile Hangar Location: About 10 seconds after the above, Johnny will confess his love for Meryl. Epilogue - Naked Sin: 60. Epilogue - Fourth Cinematic Location: During the fourth cinematic of the Epilogue, Drebin will tell Otacon about how he was a child soldier. Debriefing - Naked Son: 61. Debriefing - Third Cinematic Location: During the third cinematic of the Debriefing, after Big Boss talks about Solidus. Right at the start of the cinematic. 62. Debriefing - Fifth Cinematic Location: During the fifth cinematic of the Debriefing, Big Boss will begin listing the members of the Patriots who have died - Para-Medic, EVA, Sigint, Ocelot. 63. Debriefing - Fifth Cinematic Location: Later during the same cinematic, Big Boss will kill Zero. 64. Debriefing - Fifth Cinematic Location: A short while after killing Zero, Big Boss will mention the FOXDIE that Zero infected Snake with. 65. Debriefing - Fifth Cinematic Location: Immediately after, Big Boss will say FOXDIE is what killed both Ocelot and EVA. 66. Debriefing - Fifth Cinematic Location: Snake will begin to carry Big Boss towards The Boss' grave, and Big Boss will eventually look down at the Patriot gun. 67. Oh we had that written here when we were writing it, but seemed to delete it at some stage. Furuba will edit it shortly The 7 weapons are the Mk. 23, the Mosin-Nagant, the Patriot, the Type .17, Thor .45, the Desert Eagle (Long Barrel) and the M1911 Custom (already mentioned).
