One Playthrough Platinum

This is walkthrough of the game with highlights and details pertaining to everything you should do to get the platinum trophy in one playthrough. You do not have to do everything precisely as it's written, if you know of another spot it can be done. However there are a lot of one-time opportunities and these will be called out to let you know. Another thing I will be pointing out is where to obtain support equipment, while it may have no bearing on the trophies they will make obtaining the trophies easier.

This is not a replacement or stand in for the rest of the guide. If you are having trouble locating a particular animal, camo, face paint or Kerotan please consult the trophy guide.

Non-specific trophies
Some are related to interactions with the guards, if you are going for a one-play platinum be sure to save your game before you do a throat slitting and then reload your save.

Tell Me Where the Bomb Is
Like He Just Doesn't Care
Close Shave
Don't Touch the Sides
Ralph Called
Snake Bit
Serenity Now
Tune-In Tokyo
Mostly Dead

Virtuous Mission
There are a handful of trophies obtainable in the Virtuous Mission. Most of them can be earned later on, but it's best to get them out of the way.

01. Dremuchij South
Kerotan: Head up the path to the east and look west. It'll be on the hill.

Markhor: Snake G - Slithering around the area
Markhor: Snake H - Slithering around the area
Markhor: Mushroom A - The tree west of the collapsed tree that's north of where you start.
Markhor: Mushroom C - The tree east of the collapsed tree that's north of where you start.
Markhor: Fruit B - Growing in a tree that's west of the tree with your gear.
Markhor: Frog B - Crawling around in the grassy areas.

Trophy!: Shoot a snake with the Mk. 22 to capture it for Can I Keep It.
Trophy!: Eat a snake for Snake Eater.

02. Dremuchij Swamp
Kerotan: Go through the swamp and when you enter the second patch of grass, look to the right along the hill.

Markhor: Gavial - Kill one of the alligator and collect it's leftovers.

03. Dremuchij North
Kerotan: From the northern exit, head west to a fallen log and tree stump. The Kerotan is on the tree stump.

Markhor: Fruit A - Red fruit growing in the trees on the western fork.
Markhor: Fruit C - Yellow fruit growing in the climbable tree on the eastern fork.
Markhor: Bird D - Hiding in the grassy parts of the area.
Markhor: Bird E - Hiding in the grassy parts of the area.

Trophy!: Collected all 3 fruit for Everything is in Season.

Optional: Once you enter the area take the small fork east to find a SVD rifle.

04. Dolinovodno
Kerotan: Atop the left bridge support on the south side.

Markhor: Hornets Nest, near the bridge in the tree furthest from where you entered the area.

Trophy!: Drop the beehive near a guard for Beekeeper.

Optional: Once you cross the bridge, go west and take the small path to a cave for the XM16.

05. Rassvet
Kerotan: Head left along the wall from the stair case and look through the hole in the wall.

Important: Save your game after finding Sokolov and knocking out Ocelot.

Trophy!: At the end of the scene you'll earn Young Gun.
Trophy!: With your game saved, use a lethal weapon to kill Ocelot for Problem Solved, Series Over. Do not Retry, but quit and reload your save.

Continue on with the game until you're on Operation Snake Eater.

06. Dremuchij East
Kerotan:In the first big area there's a pile of logs, it's hidden under them.

Markhor
: Cold Medicine (Plant) - In the first big area, near the logs with the Kerotan.

07. Dremuchij North
Important: The Boss will strip you of your weapon here. You can still get the Markhor items, but you will need to get another gun to score the Kerotans. Therefore I am fast-forwarding this to Rassvet to after meeting Eva and fighting off the Ocelot squad.

08. Rassvet
Kerotan: Go to the staircase and look under them.

Face Paint: Zombie - Behind the building at a dead end.

Important: In the room where you met Sokolov and Eva search the lockers for the Thermal Goggles. They're not criteria for trophies but they make finding Markhor items a lot easier.

Once you have everything from here, go all the way back to where you started on Virtuous Mission.

10. Dremuchij South
Kerotan: The fork on the far west, at the end up on the ledge.

Markhor: Markhor - It's the goat looking thing at the south end of the area.

11. Dremuchij Swampland
Kerotan: The strip of land on the west of the area, it's between a tree and the wall.

12. Dremuchij North
Kerotan: Climb up the tree on the east fork and look west, it's on a ledge.

Markhor: Snake A - On the western side of the area near the northern exit.
Markhor: Snake F - Hanging on the tree in the area you drop in from (coming from Dremuchij East).

13. Dolinovodno
Kerotan: On the northern side of the bridge, look to the east and it's on a ledge.

Uniform: Raindrop - On the norther side of the bridge, go west and follow the narrow path to a small cave under the bridge.

14. Rassvet
Pass through this area if you've already obtained everything. If not check out step 08.

15. Chyornyj Prud
Kerotan: At the north end of the area, under water and middle of the two pieces of land, near the big tree.

Markhor: Snake D - Mingling on the ground with other snakes.
Markhor: Snake E - Mingling on the ground with other snakes.
Markhor: Frog A - Swimming in the shallow water.
Markhor: Frog C - Swimming in the shallow water.
Markhor: Fish C - Swimming in the deep water near the western side.

Trophy!: Collected all 3 frogs for Them's Good Eatin'.

Uniform:
Ga-ko - Go to the north-eastern exit and trace the eastern wall and wade around the shallow water. This uniform is underwater and hard to see, but it is in the shallow non-swimable water.

For Close Shave, don't you just hold firmly? That's how I do it.

No, holding just keeps them grappled. is for the interrogation and introduces them to Mr. Kutty-knife.

Are you sure?

I have a tip for catching the Tchnko if you put a mousetrap in bolshaya past south, the part with the mines and fences, It's the area with no wildlife except the dogs which dont count as being caught in mouetraps so i found it pretty easy to catch it in that area
