That one can be hard, but if you prepare well you can make it easier. Basically, after the switch from the previous wave, position yourself closest possible most accurately possible to that turret, so that the majority of your spread shots will all hit it. Of course be prepared to move away in a couple of seconds as he starts firing. If you do this (primary fire lvl7 ofc), you can usually kill the turret with it only releasing 1 wavy shot, but at most 2. Then it's not so hard to dodge. The other turrets on that wave are easy peasy.
(cont.) For the last wave, there's no saviour. All rocks are random. Try to kill the bottom turret ASAP by shooting it from close by, so it doesn't release too many rockets. Then move to the left bottom and do your best to dodge the rocks. You should be able to destroy the top after just 1 round of rocks. If you can't, move over it.
As for the blimp last wave, I kinda explained it in the VM I sent you few weeks ago Basically, you will want to try to be right next to those small spinning turrets at the bottom and kill them as fast as physically possible after the screen moves. If you're lucky, you will destroy the first one before it releases a shot, then you're good to go for killing all like that and it becomes an easy wave. If it releases a shot, you're basicly in God's hand for dodging all the bullets and lasers. If that happens, try to get to the right side middle (over the machine) as that's at least a safe spot from the lasers, so you only need to care about the ball shots.
Probably obvious, but try your best to save a shield for both of those nigs. They're the hardest bosses, without a shield it can be extremely luck based and hard (especially the blimp)
On Papa, the wave before the last (spinning wheel goodness) does have a pattern, it's not actually random. You just need to memorize a set motion of running up and down while stay absolutely to the left at all times. It's impossible to explain in text, but I figured it out all myself so you should be able to as well Just time your down and up motions so that you always avoid the current group of bullets but not run into the next group. It's also important to move up-down slow enough so that you don't fill the whole screen immediately by moving too fast, thus covering a too wide area. Those bullets always aim at you.
Nice going on that. Some of the challenges are annoying lol, I hated the canyon backwards with the exploding bees the most.
And yeah. The blimp and libelle can be quite random/luck based sometimes. If you get a good late start on the blimp's last wave (with the spreading balls and big laser) he's toast, can instant kill all of the turrets before they shot. If not so lucky then that wave is insanely hard. Similarly on libelle, if you don't get that big spread attack with blue and orange shots then it's a quite easy boss. I hate those luck based parts
yo, i just saw that you did Novastrike a few months ago and in quite a fast time as well. I just wanted to ask you how did you like the game? Is the difficulty just by bad game design or is it actually challenging? I was considering playing it but I've only read bad opinions about it so far.
Yeah just use your time wisely lol. Try to already play with using as little secondary fire/capsule as you can, so you won't have to adopt too much for the primary fire run.
It was kinda insane yeah but luckily nothing close to that is required for the trophy 100% I just did it because I really loved the game, and because I liked the scoring system in it (some other shmups have really dumb scoring).
For some comparision though... doing that's still nothing compared to the for Raiden IV (legit obviously). So yeah, I also still have a long way to go
