Yeah, i saw the bit where they asked Rosberg to bring it home and and he said "i'd like to go to the end". Almost felt sorry for him.......almost
Do you know what you'd have picked if you didn't get sweaty? Would it have been enough to win?
haha, i never watched WCW or TNA so i haven't got my cock out over Sting yet and hope Triple H squashes him at Mania , he's the only guy worth beating over the last 20 years that trips hasn't beaten (unless he beat him in WCW which i highly doubt with the gimmicks he had down there )
haha, congrats bud. I just fast-forwarded through to the last lap in the end and watched the celebrations and interviews (Rosberg somehow manages to look smug even after losing ). The only chance Hamilton lost it was an engine failure so you probably saved me watching a procession in the end anyway Thank fuck those ridiculous double points didn't come into it
What did you do to play dirty?
Gah, sorry about SS bud. Didn't somebody ruin the streak ending for you too
Well there's not much to guide, I just meant those 2 special items you get during the game. It was an amulet to warp time around enemies and a stone to make some shadow-Kratos pop out and damage enemies. The recharge rate was pretty decent and you could mostly spam those 2 items to win fights. And then just spam square while using those lol.
Blocking is needed though, you won't pass hard mode otherwise.. xD My problem was exactly that, that blocking consisted of 90% of fights for me (it's just habit that I wanna pass them all flawlessly). The only way to do them so was blocking, blocking, blocking, 1-2 square hit, block, block, repeat. That was my main problem with the combat system. Not allowing real combos to be pulled off (similar to Ninja Gaiden 3), no feeling of punishing enemies with strong combos like in older gows (or NGS2)
(continue) I hate it because it's really unresponsive, Kratos rolls so fucking slowly, tactics are useless (the tactic to doing fights without damage is... waiting, waiting, hit with square 1 or 2 times, wait, wait, repeat) due to the stupid amount of enemies on you at once. GoW fights are fun when there's 2-3-4, very rarely 5 enemies on you, you can plan on when there are openings between their attacks and punish them... But in Ascension I remember the whole fighting area being crowded with stupid small bugs or whatever they were, attacking you without stopping one after the other. If you tried to pull off any combo that is longer than 1-2 hits they instantly team spam you.
Oh and the story. I love every gow's story (so much that I can almost talk every dialog by memory lol, played all earlier gows 10+ times), but Ascension I can barely even remember what happened. I stopped caring after the first few cutscenes because it felt so meaningless.
I think you mean :P It's the usual favourite combo. And yeah it's there in Ascension and (guess what...) terribly useless. It does so shit damage it's not even worth to use on any enemies.
was the best combo, I can't remember much when you get it upgraded but the 4th square swing did some huge damage, it was almost the only combo I used in the 2nd half of the game. But the game is so cheap that you can usually only hit 1-2 times with square before you get group looped by having 6+ enemies on you at once.
At least near the end of the game you get those special items (won't spoil if you aren't there yet) and they can really be abused
lol. What part? I found it really easy even on hard, and I did the plat before the patch for the trials. Though I'm a long time gow vet lol, but still, I didn't spend much time mastering Ascension (it's too shitty to spend time on it xD)
