Tuffinz
Good stuff Harry. Just keep practicing. You'll get better and better. There's a thread around here with my first signature and it was terrible in comparison to what I can do now. I still have SO MUCH to learn but its fun learning and figuring out new things. Most of what I've learned has been from Toaster and watching tutorials on youtube.

Thanks for the feedback tuff, I really need to look at some tutorials as most the time i'm just guessing and messing around with tools to make them Hopefully, one day I'll be able to make sigs like you and toaster can
DaFaztFingaz
You're off to a good start Harry, they look way better than mine when I first started. What software are you using? If it's Photoshop then I'd be happy to give you any tips you may require since I know my way around it pretty well now.

Harry94_
I really like this one. Great job so far! Thanks mate, that's the first sig I've done that doesn't say SOTM Can anybody give me some tips on re sizing renders? Most are about 2000 x 1000 and I know you have to re size it to scale, but every time I do that it still looks blurry

Most are about 2000 x 1000 and I know you have to re size it to scale, but every time I do that it still looks blurry Not sure what program you are using but this should work anyway. In order to maintain the aspect ratio (basically the quality, and avoid blurriness) hold down the shift key whilst grabbing the corner and re-sizing it. You'll notice that the image will maintain most of it's clarity, and won't go blurry as soon as you let go of your mouse. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Great work on your latest SOTM entry too. Definitely your best work so far.

Xx_Progenitor_xX
Thanks Glenn, I'll hold down shift from now on I'm using GIMP 2.6 There's actually an easier way to re-scale the size of an image in GIMP 2.6. In the Toolbox dialog box (the one where you select brush, or move, or smudge) when you select the option to scale an image, there's a small clickable box at the very bottom of the window and it says "Keep Aspect". Click this box when you're re-sizing images to keep their aspect ratio the way it is (i.e with out squishing it vertically or horizontally) Refer to this image if you're a little confused by my wording: http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i465/Xx_Progenitor_xX/Untitled.png Upon closer examination, it seems that we have to hold ctrl instead of shift when re-sizing an image. Shift must be for Photoshop and Ctrl is for GIMP Edited May 8, 2012 by Xx_Progenitor_xX

Harry94_
Thanks mate, I liked that one too. It's a shame I forgot about that red part in the top left though
Xx_Progenitor_xX
Thanks mate, I liked that one too. It's a shame I forgot about that red part in the top left though I actually think the red kinda works there. It goes with the pink that's nearby and it kinda blends into it. Just my opinion though. Shame you didn't get a vote this past SoTM. I had my vote down to two different ones and yours was one of them. Great job on it BTW
Harry94_
Pretty big bump, but made a few sigs recently so thought I'd get them added here! Not the greatest, but still fun to make. ESYLD
Great work! I would recommend blurring the background and C4Ds a bit to add depth and then adding some foreground effects (C4Ds or bubbles). Soft brushing in black/white or other colours also helps add some pop to the image. Keep it up! ^^http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs44/f/2009/111/8/1/Cheerleader_by_CookiemagiK.gif
