Medal of Honor: Warfighter is 14th instalment of the venerable FPS series. Warfighter is a direct sequel the 2010 reboot Medal of Honor and is only the second Medal of Honor game set during modern day warfare. This modern military shooter isn't only about what current soldiers are up against, it also reminds you of what they're fighting for.

Warfighter was written by actual Tier 1 military Operatives. During the campaign you will play as and alongside the elite Tier 1 force while completing missions inspired by real-life counter-terror operations. While online you can choose to play as a member of over a dozen real-life highly skilled international fire teams in the fast paced competitive team-based multiplayer modes.

Like with many recent games, Warfighter forgoes including a game manual in the case. An online version did exist but has now been withdrawn.

Step 1 (Play through the campaign on Hard):

You will need to complete the campaign on the hard difficulty setting in order to unlock the Tier 1 and Hardcore difficulties. The hard difficulty is simple to say the least, your soldier is a bullet sponge and the checkpoint system is forgiving. The campaign is not very long, it consist of 13 missions and should take you between 6-8 hours to complete it. Thankfully, there are no collectibles so during this step just focus on finishing the game and getting the mission specific trophies. They include:

  • Mission 2: (B) On the Clock
  • Mission 3: (B) Leftover Lead
  • Mission 4: (B) Vender Blender
  • Mission 5: (B) Double Header
  • Mission 6: (B) Release the Kraken! (Best attempted on easy)
  • Mission 8: (B) Tag, You're It
  • Mission 9: (B) Target Practice
  • Mission 10: (B) Storm Watch
  • Mission 12: (B) Dirty Laundry

During this step you will also unlock the following story related and action/kill trophies:

  • (S) Warfighter
  • (B) Rain of Terror
  • (B) Monsoon Lagoon
  • (B) Unexpected Cargo
  • (B) One Shot, Three Kills
  • (B) Hit the Beach
  • (B) Know the Enemy
  • (B) Non-Official Cover
  • (B) Class Dismissed
  • (B) Pedal to the Medal
  • (B) Closing Ceremony
  • (B) One Man Mutiny
  • (B) Pit and Pin
  • (B) Let Him Rot
  • (S) Preacher's Path
  • (S) Stump's No Chump
  • (B) Room Service
  • (B) Master Locksmith
  • (B) Extreme Realism
  • (B) Tier 1 Imports
  • (B) Peek-a-Boo
  • (B) Lean With It
  • (B) It's Dangerous to go Alone!
  • (B) Lead Farmer
  • (B) Tactical Toggler
  • (B) The Axeman

Step 2 (Complete the campaign on the Hardcore difficulty setting):

Hardcore difficulty is only unlocked after first completing the campaign on hard difficulty. Once you've completed the game on hard, start a new campaign on Hardcore. You will know if you are playing on Hardcore if you no longer have the option to restart checkpoints or lower the difficulty.

The key factor with the Hardcore difficulty setting is simple: If you die at any point during the campaign, you have to start again from the very beginning of the story but by using a simple exploit you can have an unlimited amount of saves with this game's Hardcore mode. Follow the instructions for the (G) Hardcore trophy in the below trophy guide to make your Hardcore run relatively simple and stress free, albeit slightly annoying.

During this step you will unlock (S) Unstoppable and (G) Hardcore, you may also unlock any action/kill related trophies you missed during your 1st playthrough as all stats are cumulative.

Step 3 (Mission select to only complete the final level on Tier 1 difficulty):

The Tier 1 difficulty is unlocked after completing the game on hard difficulty. Tier 1 difficulty plays about the same as the hard difficulty with the exception of losing your HUD (Heads up Display). Tier 1 differs from the "Hardcore" difficulty by allowing checkpoints and continues so it is not as demanding.

Currently there is an exploit where you can obtain the trophy by skipping the first 12 missions and only completing the last mission called "Shut it Down". This is done by first completing the game on the "Hardcore" difficulty. After finishing your "Hardcore" run, load up the last mission "Shut it Down" on the Tier 1 difficulty in the mission select menu. Now simply complete this final mission again to unlock (S) Tier 1.

Step 4 (Single player clean up):

Use this step to unlock any trophies you missed during your 2 playthroughs. All stats are cumulative so use mission select to grind out any missed action/kill related trophies. Also, use this step and play on easy to unlock any mission specific trophies you were not able to achieve during your two playthroughs.

Step 5 (Online Multiplayer):

Now it is time to hop online and show off the skills you gained while playing the campaign. There are 12 online trophies, most are simple, a few can be difficult and a couple are time consuming.

Warfighter's multiplayer is fast paced and quite fun, you can and will enjoy obtaining all of the trophies while playing it legit (IMO) but if it is not your style of game or you're finding it too difficult or you just want to get it over with as quickly as possible you can also boost the online without much problems. Boosting partners can be found here: MOH: Warfighter Trophy Boosting Thread. Check the end of the guide for boosting instructions.

Note: You will need to win a match with a person on your friends list, if you do not have any friends with the game you can use the same above link to find a Fire Team Buddy.

During this step you will unlock the following trophies:

  • (S) MVP
  • (S) All In
  • (B) There IS an I in Fire Team
  • (B) Brothers in Arms (glitchy)
  • (S) Warchief
  • (S) Jack of all Guns
  • (G) Back in the Fight (glitchy)
  • (B) Honey Badger
  • (B) Squad Leader
  • (B) Downrange
  • (B) Job Done
  • (S) Global Warfighters

Once all steps have been completed, congratulate yourself on your new shiny (P) trophy.

Completed the campaign

Story related, cannot be missed. This trophy is unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty, though it is suggested you start the campaign on the hard difficulty to save time if you're going for the Platinum trophy. You must complete the campaign on hard difficulty to unlock the "Tier 1" and "Hardcore" difficulties. The campaign consists of 13 missions.

25C.jpg  Double Header (B)

Killed two enemies with one bullet in the Changing Tides mission

This trophy is obtained during mission 5: Changing Tides

After sneaking past a bunch of guards in mission 5 you will come to a house with two patrolling enemies. Your team mate will tell you to line them up and take both of them out with one shot, aim down your sight and headshot both of them. If you miss the shot there will also be a group of 3 enemies right after this, you can also reload the checkpoint and try it again.

6EF.jpg  Release the Kraken! (B)

Killed 20 enemies during the boat exfil in Rip Current

This trophy is obtained towards the end of mission 6: Rip Current

Towards the end of mission 6 you will have to shoot enemies with a Grenade Launcher during a boat chase. You and your allies need to kill 20 enemies or more during this part of the boat sequence. Go crazy with the grenade launcher and shoot every enemy that you see. Enemies usually have a red marker above their head. There are more than 20 enemies so don't worry if you miss one. When you reach the place where your way gets blocked and your boat has to turn around, the trophy should have already unlocked. If you do not have it at this point then immediately pause the game and restart the checkpoint.

It's best to attempt this trophy on Easy difficulty. If you are having trouble hitting the enemies aiming down the sights (ADS) seems to help a great deal. You must be quicker spotting your targets while ADS but the hit detection rate seems to increase exponentially while ADS.

F1E.jpg  Hardcore (G)

Completed the campaign on Hardcore difficulty

As with the Tier 1 difficulty mode, the Hardcore difficulty mode is only unlocked after first completing the campaign on the hard difficulty. Once you have completed the game on hard, start a new campaign on Hardcore. You will know if you are playing on Hardcore if you no longer have the option to restart checkpoints or lower the difficulty.

The key factor with the Hardcore difficulty setting is simple: If you die at any point during the campaign, you will have to start again from the very beginning of the story but with a simple exploit you can have unlimited saves with this game's Hardcore mode. Follow the below instructions to make your Hardcore run nearly stress free:

  • The exploit is whilst playing on Hardcore, you can save your game and quit out to the main menu. From here you can continue your game from the latest checkpoint, as opposed to restarting game from the very beginning. From the menu you will want to quit to the XMB to back up your save, so if/when you die you can recover the save and continue from the saved checkpoint instead of from the beginning of the game again. Note: If you quit the game whilst under fire/near death the game will count it as a death and start you back on the 1st mission.

  • To makes things as simple as possible have a USB flash drive (or other portable memory device if you have an original Phat PS3) handy. If you don't have a memory device handy you can transfer your save to other "users" on your PS3 or to the cloud if you have PlayStation Plus :ps+:. I would advise against the last two methods, changing users to recover your save is a hassle and :ps+: only allows for 1 download per 24 hour period (The 24 hour limit only affects Locked Saves. Unlocked ones can be re-downloaded anytime you like. The thing with this game is it locks the save during the 2 driving missions but not during any of the others). Thanks to Terminator for the :ps+: clarification.

  • You save your progress by quitting to the XMB. From the XMB go the "Game" tab and select "Saved Data Utility (PS3)". Now find your Medal of Honor Warfighter profile save data. Press :triangle: to open the menu. Select Copy, now select your save destination. Follow the prompts to complete the copy. Now continue your game without the fear of losing hours of work from a cheap death. Remember: If you die on Hardcore the game restarts for you so if you die recover your save, you will then be able to start from where your last backup was. Note: Always be cautious and make sure you are backing up your save from your PS3 to your flash drive and recovering your save from your flash drive to your PS3. After a few repetitions you may get complacent and mix up your steps, overriding your desired checkpoint with an older save.

  • Periodically, while playing through Hardcore mode, you will want to quit out and save your progress. When you quit to save your progress is up to you. If you are the cautious type you may want to save every few checkpoints. More daring players will opt to save at the beginning of each mission. There is a trade off to both opinions, as constantly backing out of the game to save can be quite annoying but nothing is as annoying as having to start the game again from scratch.

I can't say for sure when you should save because every player is different so one player's problem area may be easy for another and vice versa. I would suggest you save at the 1st or 2nd checkpoint of every mission (some have reported not being able to save at the 1st checkpoint). I would also advise saving after any major (read "long") firefight that you would not want to repeat. Lastly I suggest you consider saving prior to many door breaches, as some of them are unpredictable and even cheap.

4CC.jpg  Tag, You're It (B)

Caught Faraz within 15 minutes in Finding Faraz

This trophy is obtained during mission 8: Finding Faraz

In the first part of mission 8 your primary objective is to chase and capture Faraz. You cannot shoot or kill him during the chase. Whilst chasing Faraz down he will be aided by lots of armed enemies, so be prepared for some gunfights. All you need to do is clear out the enemies by moving up cover to cover. Try to be quick about it. After a few sections you will come to a fort, fight your way inside and continue doing what you're doing.

After some more chasing you will eventually catch Faraz and the trophy will unlock. Time shouldn't be a real problem as the chase isn't very long. If you are having any trouble with this trophy then you should try it again on easy. On easy you can run through some sections and completely ignore the enemies.

68E.jpg  Leftover Lead (B)

Completed the sniping section in Shore Leave without missing a shot

This trophy is obtained during mission 3: Shore Leave

At the very end of mission 3 you will automatically pick up a sniper rifle and have to shoot several enemies. Every shot must kill an enemy. Only the enemies with the red marker above their head need to be killed (there are 7 in total). The farther away an enemy is located, the more your bullet will drop due to the long distance, so make sure to aim slightly above your targets head. At the end of the sniping section a chopper will come in and you have to kill two more enemies on top of a tower. Leave the one on the rooftop to the chopper and concentrate on the other enemy. Make sure that the lower "2" of your scope aims on his head. The trophy pops during the cutscene after the mission. You can reload the checkpoint at any time and try again.

8C7.jpg  On the Clock (B)

Completed the training in Through the Eyes of Evil in under 18 seconds

This trophy is obtained during mission 2: Through the Eyes of Evil

After completing the basic training in the beginning of mission 2 you will have to make your way through an airplane. A timer will pop up in the top right corner of the screen. There are 16 red colored targets. Give all of them a headshot and you will receive a time bonus at the end of the training (up to 32 seconds time reduction). Missing a red colored target or destroying a blue target will give you a time penalty. Run through the airplane quickly, aim and shoot quickly to beat the 18 seconds. You can reload the checkpoint after completing the training to try it again.

EA4.jpg  Target Practice (B)(H)

Shot down the targets in the training camp caves in Connect the Dots

This trophy is obtained during mission 9: Connect the Dots

During mission 9 you will come to an underground area. A group of enemies will attack you. Take out the enemies then destroy the training targets. There are a total of 16 targets, shooting them once is enough.

0A6.jpg  Storm Watch (B)

Got through the sandstorm without hitting any vehicles in Hello and Dubai

This trophy is obtained during mission 10: Hello and Dubai

At the very end of mission 10 you will have to drive through a sandstorm. You may not hit any vehicles after the storm has fully developed. It's okay if you hit vehicles before the point where the video starts whilst the storm is still weak. The trophy pops after exiting the highway. Once you've left the highway stop your car and wait for your reward. Restart the checkpoint if it didn't work. If you keep driving the mission will end.

EC7.jpg  Vender Bender (B)

Destroyed 90 market stalls in Hot Pursuit

This trophy is obtained during mission 4: Hot Pursuit

In mission four you will be chasing a vehicle. Shortly after being stuck in the traffic jam you will come to a market square with lots of wooden stalls. Ram into all of them and try not to lose your target. There are more than 90 stalls, probably around 200 during the course of the entire mission. There will be many more after the described market square section, so just keep driving and ram into all stalls that you see.

4AB.jpg  Dirty Laundry (B)

Found the grenades in the laundry room in Bump in the Night

This trophy is obtained during mission 12: Bump in the Night

During mission 12 you will be on a ship. Once you enter the rear of it you will have to go up a set of stairs and enter an area with lots of "No Smoking" signs on the walls. Look for a small corridor with a red lamp and a Storage Room. In the same corridor is the Laundry Room where the grenades are located. Press :square: to open the door.

CC7.jpg  Room Service (B)

Unlocked all door breach options

See (B) Master Locksmith.

945.jpg  Master Locksmith (B)

Used each breaching option at least once

There are seven (7) different breach options. Each breach option with the exception of the starting "Kick" option are unlocked by performing four (4) breach headshots, thus you will need a total of 24 breach headshots to unlock them all.

Every time you unlock a new breach option use it on the next breach door. You should unlock this trophy towards the end of your first playthrough as there are well over 40 possible breach headshots per campaign run but if you do not receive this trophy by the time you finish the campaign, don't worry about it because you have another (Hardcore) playthrough coming up.

If you want to get this trophy as quickly as possible then make sure you are getting the max amount of headshots per breach, you can restart checkpoints if you fail to hit a good number. Here is a list of the breaching options:

  1. Kick (starting option)
  2. Tomahawk
  3. Crowbar
  4. Shotgun
  5. Door Knob Charge
  6. Flex Linear Charge
  7. Sheet Charge

24D.jpg  Extreme Realism (B)

Recovered from near-death 5 times without dying

Near-death in this game is the same as it is in pretty much all other shooters. You know you are near-death when the boundary of your screen is red with blood, also you can hear your heart beat increase and your controller will vibrate intensely to the rhythm of said heart beat. All you need to do to unlock this trophy is to reach this near-dying state five times which makes this trophy basically unmissable as you will be playing through the game on both the hard and hardcore difficulty settings. You'll unlock this trophy fairly early on without even trying to.

28F.jpg  Tier 1 Imports (B)

Got 50 kills while holding enemy weapons

Most of the enemies you kill during the campaign will drop weapons, although there are only a handful of weapons types they drop. After you've killed an enemy walk up to their gun and press :square: to pick it up. Used these dropped weapons to kill 50 enemies to unlock this trophy. Even if you choose not to use dropped enemy weapons for whatever reasons, you will more than likely unlock this trophy during one of your runs through mission 12 because the only effective weapons you use during that mission are dropped ones.

Notes about dropped weapons: Your team mates cannot supply you with ammo for them but you can get ammo from fallen enemies. For the most part your given weapons are much better than the dropped weapons but the scoped AKM and AKS' are surprisingly useful and should be used frequently. There are only five weapon types dropped by enemies:

  • AKM (Very effective with scope)
  • AKS-74U (Very effective with scope)
  • AK-103 (Very effective with scope)
  • 870 (Worthless)
  • PKM (Amazing)

Killed 25 enemies while using peek and lean during the Campaign

To perform a peak and lean stand on either side of a doorway or crouch behind cover by pressing :circle:, now press and hold :l2: and move the :ls: in your desired position. From this peeking or leaning position simply kill 25 enemies to unlock this trophy. If my description of how to perform a peek and lean is unclear in any way then don't fret, you will be given a peek and lean tutorial during mission 2.

Requested ammo from an Ally in the Campaign

See (B) Lead Farmer.

779.jpg  Lead Farmer (B)

Requested ammo from an Ally 25 times in Campaign

To request ammo from an Ally simply approach them then press and hold :square:. If successful you should hear them acknowledge your request and even hand you an ammo clip. This trophy is basically unmissable as you will need to replenish you ammo reserves throughout your two playthroughs.

390.jpg  Tactical Toggler (B)

Killed 25 enemies while using Combat Toggle

Whilst playing through the campaign some of the mission given weapons will have dual combat options, i.e. you can use the gun with either a scope or iron sights. You toggle between the two options by holding down :l1: and pressing :r3:. You will unlock the trophy without trying by just playing through the game normally as some firefights will require you to use a long range scope, other situations will be more intimate where you will want to use the red dot or iron sights instead.

400.jpg  Unstoppable (S)

Completed Shore Leave on Hardcore difficulty

You'll obtain this trophy while working towards the Hardcore trophy. This trophy unlocks after completing "Shore Leave" on Hardcore difficulty.

567.jpg  The Axeman (B)

Killed 25 enemies with melee during the Campaign

To kill and enemy with melee, click in the :rs: button. From behind, you will do a stealth takedown animation that takes quite a while to execute. The same can be said about frontal melee attacks to its advised you don't attempt a melee kill while confronting multiple enemies. You will have no problem killing 25 enemies with melee during your combined two playthroughs. Note: If you die after performing multiple melee kills and continue, those kills will count towards the total thus meaning you can (unnecessarily) grind this trophy if need be.

Finished in first place in any online match

To unlock this trophy you will need to have finished with the overall highest score at the end of an online match. This is an individual trophy, your fire team score does not count into it. You must be at the top of the leader board for the match, which includes both teams so you cannot only place first on your team. This trophy can be obtained in any game mode and it will pop after the session ends.

If you are struggling with this trophy then you can boost this it with a group found here:

Called in Apache support

In order to call in Apache support you will need to max out your level 4 Support Bar. The support bar maxes out after a certain amount of XP is gained within a single life. You can gain XP by completing objectives, helping out your fire team buddy or killing enemies. Getting kills gives you the largest amount of XP.

Maxing out any level's Support Bar will give you two (2) class specific support actions. Your offensive support action (activated by pressing :left:) usually helps you rack up some kills, so it’s on you how much more XP you will gain by using it. Your defensive support action (activated by pressing :right:) helps your team out and gives you a set amount of XP.

For this trophy use whichever class you're best with and use your support actions wisely. Choose offensive or defensive based on your play style. With all things being equal you will need to go on about a 12 kill streak to obtain the Apache. That is minus any objective or buddy support XP. You'll get this in time as you play and improve at the game or you can simply boost it. Check out this thread for more tips on how to call in the Apache:

If you are struggling with this trophy then you can boost it with a group found here:

836.jpg  There IS an I in Fire Team (B)

Finished a round as part of the top Fire Team

To unlock this trophy you and your Fire Team mate's total combined score must be the highest combined fire team score in the match. This trophy is not as difficult as it sounds but it may take some practice to get there or you can ride the coat tails of a really good player and get the trophy that way. The best tip I can give to you is to stay with your Fire Team mate as much as possible. This way you can both share kills and support each other with ammo and health and if you both have mics, use them! Communication can be the key to you two dominating a match.

If you are struggling with this trophy then you can boost it with a group found here:

454.jpg  Brothers in Arms (B)

Won a round with a friend as a Fire Team Buddy

*Glitch Warning*, see the Brothers in Arms Trophy glitched? thread for more information.

To unlock this trophy you will need to win an online match with a Fire Team Buddy that is on your PSN friends list. Before you begin matchmaking invite a friend into your party or join theirs. This trophy isn't nearly as bad as the above trophy because all you need to do is be on the winning team. You and you buddy can both suck and play a horrible game but as long as your team wins, you will get this trophy. This trophy can be obtained in any game mode.

In regards to the glitch warning, try to keep hitting the trophy requirements over and over again until the trophy unlocks.

To unlock this trophy you will need to earn the Marksman Pin for all 72 weapons. You earn a Marksman Pin by killing 20 enemies with a weapon so technically this trophy requires you to get 1,440 kills. Unfortunately at the current time there is no way to check your weapon stats in the game. The only way to track your progress is to use Battlelog.

Completed one tour with all classes.

*Glitch Warning*, see the Back in the fight trophy glitched thread for more information.

To unlock this trophy you will need to gain 50,000 XP with each of the six (6) classes. This means you will need to play and play well with each class. Every time you gain 50K XP within a class you complete a tour. The six classes are:

  1. Sniper
  2. Assaulter
  3. Demolitions
  4. Heavy Gunner
  5. Point Man
  6. Spec Ops

After each round the game will update you on the status your tour (the first stat listed). You can also check Battlelog / Sign in to track your progress. You can expedite this process by gaining double XP by spending Warfighter tokens at Warfighter Nations in Battlelog.

In regards to the glitch, all you can do is complete more tours until the trophy unlocks.

If you are struggling to gain XP then you can boost some with a group found here: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/medal-honor-warfighter/176808-trophy-boosting-thread-read-first-post.html

Used your Fire Team buddy to re-arm or heal

To obtain this trophy you obviously need a fire team buddy. Don't worry if you don’t have any friends online as the game will automatically match you up with a fire team mate. Your Fire Team Buddy will have a green aura around them. You can unlock this trophy during any online match, all you need to do is get close to your Fire Team Buddy, then press & hold :square: while near them or have them do the same for you. Holding :square: near your Buddy will either heal or re-arm them depending on what's needed at the time. If no action is available then wait until your Buddy uses up some ammo or is injured, now heal or re-arm them for some XP and this trophy.

Complete 3 Combat Mission objectives

The Combat Mission game mode is basically "Rush" from the Battlefield series, meaning your goal is to plant a bomb on an objective and protect the bomb until it explodes. To unlock this trophy you must be on the attacking team and have your explosive detonate three (3) times, luckily the total is cumulative and does not need to be done in a single match.

If you are struggling with this trophy you can boost it with a group found here: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/medal-honor-warfighter/176808-trophy-boosting-thread-read-first-post.html

How to boost the Online Trophies

Boosting is best done with a small group of 4 or 6 people. The example given below will have four members, the Boost master & boosters 2, 3 & 4.

  • Have all members of the boosting party join a text chat so they can all communicate with each other.
  • Have the Boost master start a party and have booster 2 join the party.
  • The Boost master now chooses a game type and server by going into the server browser.
  • From the server browser press :triangle: to edit the filter.
  • In the filter choose your game mode under "playlist," choose your map under "maps," and choose "Empty" under "Free Slots." Checking "Hardcore" is optional. Now click on "Refresh/Save" to enter the server browser list.
  • From here choose an empty server. Scroll up and down by using :rs:.
  • Before you enter the server note the server country & number, e.g. Official EA Europe #123456.
  • Now put the server country & number into the chat box, e.g. "EU 123456." Now press :cross: to start the match. The Boost master and booster 2 will now be in an empty server on the same team.
  • Boosters 3 & 4 should now go to find game > server browser. Make sure "All" is selected for "Playlist" and "Maps." Also, "ANY" should be selected under "Free Slots." At the bottom right of the menu is a "filter by server name" box. Type in the server number into the box, e.g. "123456." Now click "Refresh/Save." Now in the sever browser list confirm the country & server number and join the server.
  • Now boost until your hearts are content or at least until randoms join and ruin the session.
  • If randoms join and ruin the session just back out of the game and start another server using the above tactics.

Solid guide as always. Nice work.

Thanks.

Nice/Fast work as usual. As for the game itself i love the SP but absolutley hate the multi so im sure ill try to boost the hell out it

Ha I'm the exact opposite. I cant stand the single player but really enjoy the MP. Its also funny because its the opposite of how I felt about the last MOH. Ideal game would be the last MOH SP and this MOH MP.

OK, so invited a friend into my lobby and started a game of TDM. We won like 4 or 5 rounds but the "Brothers in Arms" trophy won't unlock for me. :(

Any solutions?

After you and your friend joined each other and before you joined a match did you check the party lobby in the menu to make sure you are both on the same fire team? The way the party menu is set up the host will be put into position "A" you may need to move the 2nd player to "B" to join the team. I know it seems weird but give it a shot & try again.

If it doesn't unlock I may need to add this to the list of potential glitched trophies. It looks like warchief is also glitching on some people too :(

Yeah, I invited him to my party and we were in the same Fire Team all of the time. We didn't get to be the overall #1 team though, our team just won.

Maybe this is the problem?

For some reason the warchief trophy isn't popping. On battlelog it says I have 72/72 soldiers and I'm level 75...any ideas?

I'm in the process of getting at least one kill with each soldier to see if that does the trick. Will update when I'm finished. This shit better not be glitched!

-Step 2 (Complete the campaign on the Hardcore difficulty setting):

Hardcore difficulty is only unlocked after first completing the campaign on the hard difficulty. Once you have completed the game on hard, start a new campaign on Hardcore. You will know if you are playing on Hardcore if you no longer have the option to restart checkpoints or lower the difficulty.

The key factor with the Hardcore difficulty setting is simple: If you die at any point during the campaign, you have to start again from the very beginning of the story a la Max Payne 3’s and Dead Space 3’s Hardcore modes. The latter gives you 3 saves but with a simple exploit you can have an unlimited amount of saves with this game’s Hardcore mode. Follow the instructions in the (G)Hardcore trophy description in the below trophy guide to make your Hardcore run relatively simple and stress free, albeit slightly annoying.

^

I just started a hardcore run through and backed up my savegame probably 5 times, after which the save file was locked for copying. I thought "OK" so I continued and failed at the Pakistan docks part where you're in the SUV chasing the target. After I failed, and the game restarted, I checked back in the XMB and the save could be copied again. It seems that there's a limit on the number of times the save can be backed up.

You may want to check out this part of the specific trophy description, it's possible that you weren't able to copy a save because you were trying to save during one of the earlier checkpoints in a mission:

I can’t say for sure when you should save because every player is different so one player’s problem area may be easy for another and vice versa. I would suggest you save at the 1st or 2nd checkpoint of every mission (some have reported not being able to save at the 1st checkpoint). I would also advise saving after any major (read: long) firefight that you would not want to repeat. Lastly, I suggest you consider saving prior to many door breaches, as some of them are unpredictable and even cheap.

Looks like this game has 3 glitched trophies. Global warfighter, brothers in arms and warchief.

Same problem on both the 360 & PS3. It may have something to do with the free DLC we received from redeeming the BF3 online pass. So far EA has refused to acknowledge the problem and are referring us to Sony.

Not true, there is no limited number of times you can save becasue your overwriting the same save. If I understand your question correctly, the problem is there a few spots in the game where you are not allowed to make a back up. So you need to load up your most recent save and pass that part where you died. When you hit your next checkpoint you should be able to save again.

Yeah it seemed ok up until "Hot Pursuit". Now when I look at the details of my save data for MoH Warfighter, it says that the file can't be copied, basically copying is prohibited.

I'll try and get past this mission see if it pans out.

**EDIT**

Thanks for the help guys. It seems the save is only locked for that mission.

Hey, First of all.. Nice Guide :)

Secondly..

. For Tier 1 difficulty, you can restock ammo but you can't see the :square: button.

. For Warchief trophy, you'll need to reach to level 73 not 72 and you'll need 817,000 XP.

Yea man, I saw that you were the only one with the trophy, I thought about messaging you to ask you about it. I'm level 77 though and it still hasn't popped and I have 929,424 xp
