Fubzy
http://i.imgur.com/8MFSESL.png http://i.imgur.com/JggbCnF.png Overview: Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (Vote here!) Trophy breakdown: 17 (13 , 4 ) Estimated Time To 100%: 5-10 hours Minimum Number Of Playthroughs Needed: 10 Arcade mode runs (Marvel Super Heroes),11 Arcade mode runs (Marvel vs. Capcom) and many Versus Mode battles (if you have two controllers) Number Of Missable Trophies: None. Glitched Trophies: No known glitched trophies. Does Difficulty Affect Trophies?: No. NOTE: All trophies and combos are written based with the player standing on the left side. Introduction: September 26th saw the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins, a sweet package which offers two more legendary fighting games on PlayStation Network; Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and Marvel Super Heroes. Both are exceedingly popular 90s arcade fighting games, renowned for their unique fighting system, music and vast selection of characters. To any fan of 2D fighting games, Marvel vs. Capcom: Origins is a must-buy, simply to relive such famous classics. In regards to the trophies, they are quite easy and require much less effort than the PlayStation Network version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes or the new-generation addition to the franchise, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Unlike these two sequels, Origins asks for no online grinding as all trophies can be earned offline, unlike what many fans thought prior to its release. However, the game has a very minor grind offline, but if you frequently play the game it’d easily come naturally to you. Trophy Breakdown: As with many fighting games, it is irrelevant where you start first on your journey to the 100% in Marvel VS Capcom: Origins, however I highly recommend follow the roadmap to get the trophies as fast and efficiently as possible. http://i.imgur.com/qAjsaT4.png I - Arcade Mode - Marvel Super Heroes Choose Marvel Super Heroes firstly. It’d be best and most efficient to knock out the most annoying trophies first, before you clean up with the miscellaneous easy trophies. First, play through Arcade mode as every available Hero and every available Villain. You may find this daunting, however unlockable characters aren’t included and it only concerns the 10 default fighters you have from the beginning. Next, after having grown well-acquainted to the controls and routine of the game, you must play Arcade Mode again, except without losing any rounds in the process. You may find this to be easier with an unlockable you can purchase from the Vault so read respective trophy for all details about it. When you finish this step, you will have unlocked: Super Heroes Unite Villains Unite Marvel Legend II - Miscellaneous Trophies - Marvel Superheroes Now all that’s left here is to pick up the Marvel Super Heroes-specific trophies. There aren’t as many as Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and they are quite easy. This will be the shortest step you must use and you’ll be finished with this mode within thirty minutes. By the end of this short intermission, you will have unlocked: War of the Gems Around The Universe http://i.imgur.com/XGtqlvd.png III - Arcade Mode - Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes This time we’ll basically be doing the same as Step I however it’ll be with a new tag system and a new set of characters. If you’re well-acquainted with the likes of the Street Fighter series you will have little problems on your first time around the mode. The trophies for Arcade mode will take around the same length of time as Marvel Super Heroes so you’ll know what to expect. Finally, you’ll need to run through Arcade mode again without losing any matches. Read all listed trophies for further details and strategies: Capcom Unite Marvel Unite Crossover Legend IV - Miscellaneous Trophies - Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes Just like Step II it’s time to pick up the Marvel vs. Capcom-specific trophies. This won’t take much longer than Step II did. There’s two more to collect compared to the Marvel Super Heroes-specific trophies however they are not any more difficult, as long as you follow the guide's strategies. Like the last time these trophies can easily be boosted, otherwise you’ll have to grind it out in Arcade mode. During this step, the follow trophies will be unlocked: Powers Combined Duo of Heroes Around the Multiverse From the Shadows V - Clean-up All that’s left to do now is grind out the final trophies. The descriptions may be misleading for the challenge-related trophies but they are all very simple and will only take a few matches to grind some, however you must fight in a total of 500 matches to get what will most likely be your last trophy, Grinder. After this stage, you should hopefully have your 100% for this game, as long as you have unlocked: Another Notch Big Finish Going Streaking Not a Scratch Grinder Conclusion: All in all, like mentioned earlier in the roadmap, this game is significantly easier to complete trophy-wise compared to its sequels also available on PS3 but it's still a quick, fun and satisfactory set of trophies, for one of gaming’s most legendary fighting games. The HD port is quite crisp and the addition of online is something which will draw in many people, be it long-time fans or new players to the franchise or even genre and with a relatively generous price for two games, this is a sweet package to spend your money on. Fubzy
http://i.imgur.com/oO7LPbo.png http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/9AA.jpg Marvel Legend Finish arcade mode without losing a round (Marvel Super Heroes) Difficulty: 1 Star Maximum rounds: 1 For this trophy, you must play through the Arcade mode of Marvel Super Heroes without losing a single match. Switch the settings in the options menu to what is shown above to make this easier. Note if you happen to have two controllers available, you can use a handy old trick. Turn on the second controller and keep it handy whilst playing. When you are close to losing during you perfect Arcade run, simply press the button on the second controller. The second controller is coming in to battle you, simply defeat the lifeless enemies and you’ll start the match you were losing in earlier over again. This is a neat little exploit which can save you from having to suffer going through Arcade mode again. However, if you do not have a second controller for this, you’re simply going to have to rely on a little skill and a lot of luck. Arcade mode breakdown: Marvel Super Heroes generally has the easier Arcade mode of the two games in this collection for one reason - the final boss doesn’t use cheap moves. Thanos generally feels just like a slightly stronger opponent but his health drops just as fast as all prior opponents. There's nothing you should look out for here as if you use the correct moveset he'll be gone in seconds. Hence, I recommend using Spiderman for this run, using the following moves: http://bit.ly/1lGwKgR http://bit.ly/1lGwKgR - 'Web Swingin'!' attack http://bit.ly/1lGwH4Q http://bit.ly/1lGwH4Q - 'Web Throw!' attack Both of these are exceptionally strong moves and can defeat the opponent in three to four hits. Basically in the first move Spiderman jumps up and swings a short distance over to the opponent, kicking them in the process. In the second move, Spiderman shoots a pellet of a spider web at the opponent, then swings them around once and hurtles them to one side of the room. This one is particularly useful as it can be used from quite a distance and is considerably stronger than the first. Spamming these moves as a last resort will nab you this trophy with relative ease. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/1BC.jpg Crossover Legend Finish arcade mode without losing a round (Marvel vs. Capcom) Difficulty: 1 Star Damage Level: 8 For this trophy, you must play through the Arcade mode of Marvel vs. Capcom without losing a single match. Switch the settings in the options menu to what is shown above to make this easier. Also remember that the damage level increases the enemy’s strength as well so you must still be wary. Arcade mode breakdown: Unfortunately, Marvel vs. Capcom's Arcade mode may cause a bit more hassle than Marvel Super Heroes’ did as you have to deal with not only one but two enemies in a single match as well as an overpowered cheap boss at the end. This where the two controller trick as mentioned above will become incredibly useful; otherwise be prepared to face some serious frustration with this trophy. Nonetheless, with the correct enemy attacks and move sets you may just pull through, be it with the two controller trick or otherwise. Spiderman's useful moves from Marvel Super Heroes don't quite work as well here in this game, however he's still useful enough to be a good secondary. Regardless, this time, you'll be using the team of Megaman and Spiderman. When choosing your characters, make sure to choose 'Simple mode' to make things easier. When in Simple mode, use these movesets: Megaman: - Projectile attack - Hyper Combo Spiderman: http://bit.ly/1lGwKgR http://bit.ly/1lGwKgR - 'Web Swingin'!' attack - Hyper Combo The first move for Megaman is quite easy to spam and is the best move to use in this case. Using it over and over can end Stages 1-4 in a few hits, however afterwards you’ll have to time your Hyper Combo inputs more carefully as to not waste it, as the opponents are heavy on defence later on. Onslaught strategy: Onslaught is an extremely daunting enemy at first as he doesn’t go lightly on the laser beam attacks and a handful of his moves can take off half of your health (moves which you uses quite often). Try to keep Megaman alive for both forms of the fight, as Spiderman is relatively useless in this fight. (Make sure to keep that second controller handy if you have one!) As soon as the battle begins press http://bit.ly/1XnGM2g so that Megaman is crouching and defending himself. This will result in all except one of Onslaught’s moves dealing nothing but ‘chip damage’, which will help greatly in his second form. One of his moves, which you could class as his throw move, is when he releases green orbs which rush towards you. Let them grab you and it’ll initiate a deadly move where half of your health drops in one go (it is also impossible to block this move). To counter this, simply press (Megaman's Projectile move) and the orbs disappear upon impact. In between Onslaught’s attacks, keep pressing the button so that you can deal off fragments of his health. Make sure to time your (Hyper Combo) moves correctly so that you can deal a satisfactory bit of damage to him, however try to ration these so that you can finish the second form quickly. Once the second form begins, you can calm down a bit. As long as you have kept at least two Hyper Combos from the first form, you’ve almost secured your trophy. When Onslaught rushes towards you in this stage, immediately press the button so you start the Hyper Combo and destroy roughly one third of his health. Repeat when the chance arises. If you find you need to fill the gauge again, spam the button when Onslaught is off-screen to raise the bar. Once you defeat him, the characters will strike a win pose and the credits will roll. During this, the trophy will finally unlock. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/186.jpg Super Heroes Unite Finish arcade mode with each hero (Marvel Super Heroes) You must finish Arcade mode with every Hero in Marvel Super Heroes. You can unlock them in two different ways: Earning Vault Points and purchasing them in the Vault Doing it the old-fashioned way by inputting the codes The latter is easier and faster; rather than having to wait to earn the required amount of Vault Points you can simply input the code process and win a match quickly. If you wish to purchase the extra characters, however, you must pay either 50 Vault Points for the character code or 150 Vault Points to unlock the character themselves permanently. To use the codes, however, you can enter either Arcade mode or a Local match and you must then highlight a specific character, then hover over different characters in a certain order. Usually, the final movement will go out of the character select screen and will highlight the hidden character. Messing up on the code inputs will result in having to do it over again. Don’t worry; this will come naturally over the course of your trophy hunting; even if you were only playing through Arcade mode for fun, it’d surely come naturally eventually. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/4EC.jpg Big Finish Complete the fourth tier of the challenge "Big Finish" You must knock out the opponent whilst using a Hyper Combo a total of 100 times. Checking a character’s move list will describe what the exact inputs are however simply going into a Local Match, choosing Simple Mode and pressing the button will initiate the Hyper Combo immediately, thus making this a quick and easy grind. Remember that defeating both opponents on the opposite team with a Hyper Combo will count as two separate credits for the trophy; so make sure to defeat both with the Hyper. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/047.jpg Going Streaking Complete the third tier of the challenge "Going Streaking" This should be one of the first trophies you earn. Completing the third tier of the ‘Going Streaking’ challenge basically requires you to win eight matches in a row. This is relatively easy and if it does not unlock naturally it will most definitely unlock when you end up grinding out battles for the Grinder trophy. You can earn this and Not a Scratch in unison if you wish. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/DEB.jpg Powers Combined Complete the third tier of the challenge “Powers Combined" (Marvel vs. Capcom) This trophy is exclusive to Marvel vs. Capcom. You must defeat an opponent thirty times with a Team Hyper Combo. To initiate this unique type of combo, you must press the following buttons: http://bit.ly/1IcZtPahttp://bit.ly/1jhwC5Chttp://bit.ly/1lGwKgR Unfortunately there is no Simple mode version so you must do this the proper way. A Team Hyper Combo is practically the same as a Hyper Combo however it is stronger and both team members execute it side by side. This can be grinded whilst going for Big Finish, because Hyper Combos and Team Hyper Combos both count towards that trophy. Edited February 12, 2016 by Terminator Fixed typos. Fubzy
http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/B63.jpg Duo of Heroes Complete the third tier of the challenge "Duo of Heroes" (Marvel vs. Capcom) This trophy is exclusive to Marvel vs. Capcom. You must simply perform a Duo Team Attack thirty times over your course of play. To initiate this unique type of combo, you must press the following buttons: http://bit.ly/1IcZtPahttp://bit.ly/1XnGM2ghttp://bit.ly/1lGwH4Q Unfortunately there is no Simple mode version of this either so you must execute it in its original form. What it does is after execution, your partner will come and join you in battle, and the screen will turn a more dark colour. This counts as one. Upon completing a Duo Team Attack for the thirtieth time, the trophy will unlock. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/967.jpg War of the Gems Complete the third tier of the challenge "War of the Gems" (Marvel Super Heroes) This trophy is exclusive to Marvel Super Heroes. You must perform an Infinity Gem attack a total of thirty times. To initiate this unique attack, you must press the following buttons: http://bit.ly/1IcZtPahttp://bit.ly/1XnGM2ghttp://bit.ly/1lGwH4Q The character will use the Infinity Gem they currently have in stock (otherwise you can pick them up over the course of the battle; the fastest way being getting the First Attack of the match and your opponent instantly drops it). Upon completing this a thirtieth time, the trophy will unlock. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/3CC.jpg Not a Scratch Complete the second tier of the challenge "Not a Scratch" For this trophy you must simply get a Perfect in matches a measly three times. If you decide to pick this and Going Streaking up first thing as you start the game you will earn this after the third match. To earn a Perfect in a match, you must win without taking a speck of damage. This is most easily earned in a Local Match however it is very well possible in the earlier stages of Arcade mode. This should be amongst the first trophies you earn. http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/D24.jpg Around The Universe Win a match with every normally selectable character (Marvel Super Heroes) You must win at least one match with every character in Marvel Super Heroes. This and Around the Multiverse are some of the easiest trophies in the game and can be earned as soon as you boot up the game. Create a Local Match and simply go through all the characters, slowly but surely. For Marvel Super Heroes, you must win a match with each of the following: The Hulk Iron Man Wolverine Psylocke Spiderman Captain America Magneto Shuma-Gorath Juggernaut Black Heart http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/1A1.jpg Around The Multiverse Win a match with every character (Marvel vs. Capcom) You must win at least one match with every character in Marvel vs. Capcom (this includes the secret six required for From the Shadows). This and Around the Universe are some of the easiest trophies in the game and can be earned as soon as you boot up the game. Create a Local Match and simply go through all the characters, slowly but surely. For Marvel vs. Capcom, you must win a match with each of the following: Chun-Li Ryu Zangief Morrigan Captain Commando Megaman Stryder Hiryu Spiderman Jin Captain America Venom The Hulk Gambit War Machine Wolverine You must also use the six hidden characters, those being: Shadow Lady Roll Red Venom Golden War Machine Orange Hulk Lilith http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1623/EF7.jpg Grinder Complete the third tier of the challenge "Grinder" For this trophy you must play a total of 500 matches over all your game time between Marvel vs. Capcom and Marvel Super Heroes. Unlike Another Notch, this only requires you to participate in a match; win or lose, it does not matter, it still registers. This will most likely be the last trophy you’ll unlock, as you'll probably have to grind it after unlocking all other trophies but by then it won’t be too bad a grind. You can go by doing this by either playing through Arcade mode repeatedly in Marvel Super Heroes following the method under Marvel Legend with Spiderman (as this is generally the easier and faster Arcade of the two) or play Local Matches over and over in either of the games. OmegaDenmad
IMO Juggernaut or Hulk are more beginner friendly than Spiderman in MSH. In 1 star it's mash and win, Juggie in particular is a beast. For MvC I would go with Ryu and Megaman for overkill against Onslaught. Also another useful info could be the best assist codes (like Psylocke [Hold ] and Colossus [Hold ]) but I'm not 100% sure these work in Simple Mode since I never tried it, they work for Normal Mode though . Great detail in the guide, I think the trophy guide is more complex than the trophy list. Maybe in the end I just dislike Spiderman...

bs000
Super cool video guides you can use: Super cool screepcaps you can use as visual aids: Big Finish Powers Combined Powers Combined #2 Duo of Heroes Duo of Heroes #2 War of the Gems Not a Scratch #1 Not a Scratch #2 You have my permission to use any of the above. You know. If you want to. :3 Also, for Duo of Heroes you wrote http://bit.ly/tPpHpa , but shouldn't it be http://bit.ly/t6vQPuhttp://bit.ly/t3HFl2http://bit.ly/tPpHpa+? Alsoo, for Powers Combined, You said you have to defeat them with team hypers, but I'm pretty sure you just have to do 30 team hypers at any time. Alsooo, you wrote Big Finish is exclusive to MVC, but it can be done in Marvel Super Heroes too. Although it is alot easier in MVC. Alsoooo, for hyper combos in simple mode, you only wrote , but most characters in MVC have multiple hyper combos so also works. In some situations (especially against Onslaught) other hypers are more beneficial. Alsooooo, for War of the Gems, shouldn't it be http://bit.ly/t6vQPuhttp://bit.ly/t3HFl2http://bit.ly/tPpHpa and not ? Alsoooooo, for http://bit.ly/t46CJt http://bit.ly/t46CJt - ‘Web Swingin’!’ attack http://bit.ly/tPpHpa http://bit.ly/tPpHpa - ‘Web Throw!’ attack Is there an simple mode in Marvel Super Heroes that I don't know about? Because I can't get those moves using those inputs unless I do the quartercircle motions. Edited October 22, 2012 by bs000

And thank you for the videos/screencaps, I'll see what I can add

SilentArrow
This game is ridiculous, even the easy mode is difficult, has anyone get 100% on this game?
Fubzy
This game is ridiculous, even the easy mode is difficult, has anyone get 100% on this game? Yeah, if you use spam techniques then the 100% is rather easy but to get through with pure skill for the 100% would make this much more difficult. I can understand your frustration though. Yoda91192
Another awesome guide, just a few issues I found. Firstly, for the "Shadow Lady" code, you forgot the UP (idk how to do the white arrow) at the very beginning of the code, I only know this because after your code wasn't working I had to rely on the video provided. Also, For "Around the Multiverse", you state that the secret characters aren't needed, when in fact they are seeing as how I just got the trophy after using my last secret character. There's even a Challenge for it and mine now shows 21/21.

Knew I'd make a mistake there considering those codes are so repetitive, even after reading over them like a dozen times Thanks though And are you sure, I'm about 80% sure I didn't need to use the extra characters, and it unlocked after I used all the defaults
Yoda91192
Knew I'd make a mistake there considering those codes are so repetitive, even after reading over them like a dozen times Thanks though And are you sure, I'm about 80% sure I didn't need to use the extra characters, and it unlocked after I used all the defaults Lol we all make mistakes, don't worry about it. & I'm completely sure, I used all the default characters first but no trophy popped, then I saw the challenge progress at 15/21. Once I used the secret 6, *PING*... I was happy to find out that using 2 different people and winning counted as a win for both of them so that made it a little faster..
