Welcome to EA Sports annual football game Madden NFL 13. This year's edition unlike previous editions puts a greater emphases on playing online head-to-head games and playing different positions to beat the legacy scores of football greats in the new Connected Career Mode. Trophies are much harder this year and the platinum is very time consuming requiring you to play many games both offline and online. Connected Career Mode is a grind for each different career, and is best for you to play on All-Madden difficulty. Following the road map and guide below should help you to becoming a Madden NFL 13 Master(P)

Walkthrough:

Step 1: In-Game

Here you can go after the easy In-Game trophies to get yourself some quick trophies. Decided on which trophy you want to go for first, and set up a Play Now game on Rookie difficulty with however long quarters you need. Most In-Game trophies you do not need to complete the game, while others only unlock after the game is finished. For which trophies unlock after the game, please refer to that trophy in the trophy guide. These are the following trophies you will unlock:

  • (B)The Penitent Man Shall Pass
  • (B)Made Ya Look
  • (B)Let's Get Physical
  • (B)Matt Flynn's Arcade
  • (B)Verizon Scoreboard Overload
  • (B)Pass the Salsa
  • (B)Gronk Spike
  • (B)Tebowing

Step 2: Madden Ultimate Team Step Unachievable due to server closure

From the Main Menu select Madden Ultimate Team (MUT). Here you will create a new MUT team for this year's edition. In MUT, you will be given a starter pack and your goal here is to play games and earn coins. Coins are used to purchase new packs of cards that will give you new players, contracts, playbooks, stadiums, uniforms and coaches. The goal here is to play 20 games and have a MUT team rated 85 overall to earn the following trophies:

  • (B)This One is Easy. We Promise
  • (B)Single Riders Only
  • (B)MUT Maniac
  • (S)This One is Hard 2.0

Step 3: Online Play Step Unachievable due to server closure

Time for some online play. You can try and boost the online trophies or not, it is up to you but it is at times very difficult to find your boosting partner. There are some tips in the trophy guide that can help you have a better chance at finding your boosting partner. From the Main Menu select Play Online. Choose to play Head-to Head and select Play Now as you ONLY can play Ranked matches to earn the trophies. You DO NOT have to win the games you play as ONLY the points you scored count towards the trophies. The goal here is to score a cumulative total of 600 points scored in Ranked games. In the process of earning 600 points, you will unlock the following trophies:

  • (B)Online Level 1
  • (B)Online Level 2
  • (B)Online Level 3
  • (B)Online Level 4
  • (B)Online Level 5
  • (B)Online Level 6
  • (B)Online Level 7
  • (B)Online Level 8
  • (B)Online Level 9
  • (G) Battle Tested

Step 4: Connected Career Mode Step Unachievable due to server closure

From the Main Menu select Connected Careers. This is where you will spend the majority of your time in Madden. Here you will play eight different careers with the goal of beating the legacy scores of football greats at a certain position on offense and defense. It is best to play all careers on All-Madden, but you can play on Pro difficulty too. You must also check to make sure you have a gameface with EA sports to earn the following trophy:

  • (B)You're In the Game

There is only one coaching career. This career will take at least 5.5 seasons. The goal here is to win 100 games and make the Hall of Fame. The trophies you will unlock are:

  • (S)Vince Lombardi Award
  • (S)All Madden
  • (G)Hall of Famer

The four offensive careers (QB, HB, TE, and WR) require you to play at least five games a season to build up stats for you to win the MVP and for your team make the playoffs. It is best you play every game in your career as a HB , because you will have the best shot at getting the overall trophies as you earn more XP in games played. Offensive careers can range from 2-10 seasons long. The goal is to break records, win MVP's, and win Super Bowls to get legacy score that surpass the legend you are chasing. The Offensive trophies are:

  • (B)80 Overall
  • (B)85 Overall
  • (B)90 Overall
  • (S)MVP! MVP! MVP!
  • (S)Joe Montana Award
  • (S)Montana's Mountain
  • (S)Emmitt Smith Award
  • (S)Jerry Rice Award
  • (S)Shannon Sharpe Award
  • (G)Peak Performance

The three defensive careers (LE, CB, and OLB) require you to plat at least four-five games a season to build up stats for you to win the MVP and for your team make the playoffs. Defensive careers can range from 3-5 seasons long. The goal is to break the sack record, win MVP's, and win Super Bowls to get legacy score that surpass the legend you are chasing. The Defensive trophies are:

  • (S)Reggie White Award
  • (S)Lawrence Taylor Award
  • (S)Deion Sanders Award

Step 5: Clean Up/Misc.

Now it is clean up time and you can go after any trophies you have left from previous steps. This is also the time to explore Communities and Madden Moments.

SgaF1dt.png

456.jpg The Penitent Man Shall Pass (B)

As a QB, win the game with 4 or fewer completed passes (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Play a quick game between the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins. When at the screen to set your quarter length, change quarter length to 1 minute and difficulty to rookie. Only RUN the ball. DO NOT even throw a pass. Run the ball to either score a touchdown or set up a field goal. Hold off the opposing team on defense and win the game. When the game is over, the trophy unlocks.

9EF.jpg Made Ya Look (B)

Abort the play action and complete a pass for a TD (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Choose a Play Action play to run, when you are within 20 yards to the endzone. After you hike the ball, quickly hit :r2: and throw a touchdown to one of your receivers. If you happen to fail, then try again. Trophy unlocks after a successful try.

5F2.jpg Let's Get Physical (B)

Tackle an opponent using the Hit Stick (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

When on defense, target the ball carrier and use the :rs: in the direction of the ball carrier to lay a massive hit/tackle on the ball carrier. Trophy unlocks after a successful hit using the :rs:.

957.jpg Matt Flynn's Arcade (B)

Score 6 touchdowns with your backup quarterback (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Start up a game between the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins. Set quarter length to 5 minutes and to rookie difficulty. Have the starting quarterback for the Seahawks run one play. Then hit :start: and sub in your backup quarterback. Score 6 touchdowns with your backup, and the trophy unlocks after the game.

5BD.jpg Verizon Scoreboard Overload (B)

Score 50 points in one game (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

When going for Matt Flynn's Arcade, score an extra touchdown or field goal to score over 50 points in a game. Trophy unlocks after the game.

191.jpg Pass the Salsa (B)

Score a TD with Victor Cruz (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Play a quick game between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins. Play as the Giants, and throw a touchdown to Victor Cruz (#80). Trophy unlocks after touchdown. Do not need to finish the game.

D3E.jpg Gronk Spike (B)

Score a TD with Rob Gronkowski (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Play a quick game between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. Play as the Patriots, and throw a touchdown to Rob Gronkowsiki (#87). Trophy unlocks after touchdown. Do not need to finish the game.

C78.jpg Tebowing (B)

Tebow Time! Throw a TD with Tim Tebow on the first play in overtime (no SuperSim, OTP or co-op).

Play a game between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. Play as the Jets with 1 minute quarters. At the beginning of the game, sub out Mark Sanchez and bring Tim Tebow. DO NOT score and DO NOT let the opposing team score in regulation. Win the coin toss. If you lose the coin toss, then restart the game. Choose a Hail Mary play, and score a touchdown on the first play in over time. If you fail, then restart the game. Trophy unlocks after the game.

If you have two controllers, then do the same as above. If you happen to lose the coin toss, then have controller 2 team select to kick so you get to receive the ball first in overtime. Select a Hail Mary play for the Jets, and FG block for the Dolphins. Quickly throw the ball to a receiver and you will easily score a touchdown

From the Main Menu select Ultimate Team. Here you will create your own ultimate team. You can choose any team name you want as long as it is not taken already or you can use last year's MUT team name you used. The game gives you a starter pack of cards with most cards having a contract of 25 games.

Complete various solo challenges. Most solo challenges are set with 2 minute quarter lengths and you have to play the whole game. A good way to keep track of how many games you have played is to play one teams entire season schedule, which is 16 games and each game has a bigger coin reward and sometimes a special card.

Build an 85 rated MUT team.

You can go about this trophy many different ways as listed below to earn coins to buy packs. Best bet is get enough coins to buy about 3-4 legendary packs, and you should have an 85+ overall team.

  • Buy purchasing card packs using real money from the PS Store in game. If you have the EA Season Pass, then it is 20% off each different card package.
  • By playing online either head to head.
  • By playing against the CPU in various solo challenges.
  • Trade cards by boosting by clicking HERE, but you can ONLY trade the same valued cards.
  • For example a gold card for a gold card and etc.

Below are the coin value for each different card pack:

  • Legendary-35,000
  • All-Pro-9,000
  • Pro-3,000
  • Rookie-1,500

Score 600 points in Online Ranked Head to Head Games.

Unachievable due to server closure

Scoring 600 points can be difficult because of quitters, lag, and skill of other users online. These are cumulative trophies, and only points you score in a Head-to-Head Online Ranked matches count. After the game is over and you taken back to the Online home screen, and if you earned enough points for a trophy it will unlock after a few seconds.

To get an idea of how many points you have scored, go to Online Leaderboards and scroll till you see your PF (Average Points For). Take your PF and multiply it by the number of games you have played.

You can also, thanks to Kaozz79, go to http://www.easports.com/. Sign in and click on your profile to check your Madden 13 stats. It will show all of your online stats and will have "Points for" which shows exactly how many you have along with all previous game scores.

These trophies can be boosted by using the boosting thread HERE, but it is VERY difficult to get matched up with your boosting partner. Each game has a max of 255 points. After both of you reach 255 points, then have one user get three delay of game penalties in a row to end the game. Like with all boosting, you need to set up a chat room with each other and try your best to synch up. Below are two tips on how to boost, but BEWARE it is still very difficult and almost impossible at times to boost.

Special thanks to CrazyTrainZ28 who figured out that Madden Rep is KEY to having a better shot at finding your boosting partner. You and your boosting partner need to be within 15% of each other's Madden Rep. Skill points can vary but if Madden Rep is within 15%, then still able to meet up. To change your search setting, use :square: before clicking "Play Now."

Another boosting tip thanks to OlympiakosNYC and djhmetfan2, is both boosting partners have the same amount of Skill points. After playing a game together, the Winner needs to lose two straight games by getting three delay of games in a row after the kickoff on offense. Then both boosting partners can synch up again.

When starting a new career in Connected Careers, select Game Face. Use :triangle: to download your gameface from EA. After your gameface downloads, the trophy will unlock.

If you are getting an error message, then use the method below found by leptonic

Go to Game Face Overview | EA SPORTS. Sign in and select Get Started. If you do not already have an avatar on EA, then create a new by uploading a side and face picture of your head. If you already have an avatar, then select the football helmet to change your avatar into a football uniform. Now go back to Madden, and this time you will not get the error message.

As a created coach, surpass Vince Lombardi on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Big thanks to tima_13, who found this great and easy method to unlocking Vince Lombardi Award, All Madden, and Hall of Famer.

Start a new Connected Career as created head coach with the Green Bay Packers as Motivator with all default settings.

Each season:

Sim preseason, save before each season, and playoff game. If you lose, reload your save so that you finish 19-0 every season. You get a lot of legacy points for going undefeated, having numerous Pro Bowl players, and winning superbowls.

Regarding XP:

Spend all XP on "Contract" and "Free agent" packages (start with the most important positions like QB, CB, WR, etc.) Ignore "XP Boost" and "Retirement" packages.

Regarding Players:

During the season there will be a lot of players who will want to negotiate a contract. Ignore players under 85. For players over 85, click on them and choose delegate. Don't worry if they reject contract, most of them won't leave anyway

In the 2nd or 3rd season, QB Aaron Rodgers will need a contract. This is the only player you will negotiate a contract yourself. Do this at the beginning of the season, when you have the most cap space. Just give him whatever he wants or give him a little more than what he is asking to make sure he resigns.

You can sign some free agents yourself if you want in the offseason, but it is not necessary.

Also, "Progress Players" every now and then to upgrade players on your team. Don't scout as it is not necessary.

Offseason:

Delegate/Sim everything.

This can take between 5-6 hours simulating, 5 full seasons, and 5 games into the 6th season which gives you a record of 100-0 and unlocking Vince Lombardi Award, All Madden, and Hall of Famer.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/7A3.jpgJoe Montana Award (S)

As a created QB, surpass Joe Montana on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Start a new Connected Career as a Pocket Passer Quarterback High Draft Pick for the Atlanta Falcons. You can join any team you wish, but Falcons have two young stud wide receivers in Julio Jones and Roddy White which make for great targets.

Before starting your new Connected Career league, change difficulty to All-Madden (can leave it on Pro). Set all User sliders to 100, CPU sliders to 0, and all Penalties to 0. Leave rest of the settings at default.

This will take between 7-10 seasons to unlock. Make sure in the first five seasons to win the MVP award and Super Bowl each year. After you win four Super Bowl's, you will unlock Montana's Mountain. After 5 years, you no longer get legacy points for them. Though, every year you still get legacy points for reaching season milestones in 5,000 yards passing and 50 passing touchdowns. Trophy unlocks when you surpass Joe Montana's legacy score of 16,025.

Each Season do the following:

  • Sim all Preseason games.
  • Play enough games to earn at least 5,000-10,000 passing yards
  • Play enough games to earn at least 50 passing touchdowns.
  • Sim remaining games
  • Reach the playoffs
  • First 5 seasons win the Superbowl and the MVP
  • Simulate the offseason

Breaking the all time Quarterback records for passing yards and passing touchdowns do not yield a lot of legacy points, but are helpful. They key is to find a passing play you are comfortable with and run that same play over and over. After each play that is successful, quickly double tap :triangle: to run the hurry up offense to run the same play again as using the hurry up offense gives you more possessions. Beware even on All-Madden with sliders in your favor, you will need to read the play and make the right choice when throwing the ball for a successful play.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/0BE.jpgEmmitt Smith Award (S)

As a created RB, surpass Emmitt Smith on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

***This is the only Connected Career I suggest you do not sim any games except playoff games, because you NEED to earn XP by playing games to help build your running back to be 99 overall for Peak Performance***.

Start a new Connected Career as a Power Running Back High Draft Pick for the Arizona Cardinals or New York Jets. You can join any team you wish, but Cards and Jets are easier and you start off at 90 overall.

Before starting your new Connected Career league, change difficulty to All-Madden (can leave it on Pro). Set all User sliders to 100, CPU sliders to 0, and all Penalties to 0. Leave rest of the settings at default.

This will take between 3-6 seasons to unlock. I suggest to play every game as you can also play for Peak Performance, then it will take just 3.5 seasons. Make sure in the first five seasons to win the MVP award and Super Bowl each year. After 5 years, you no longer get legacy points for them. Though, every year you still get legacy points for reaching season milestones in 2000 yard rushing and 25 rushing touchdowns. Trophy unlocks when you surpass Emmitt Smith's legacy score of 13,300.

Each Season do the following:

  • Sim all Preseason games.
  • Play enough games to earn at least 2,000-3,000 yards rushing
  • Play enough games to earn at least 50-60 rushing touchdowns.
  • Play enough games to earn at least 1,000-1,500 yards receiving.
  • Play enough games to earn at least 15-25 receiving touchdowns.
  • Reach the playoffs
  • First 5 seasons win the Superbowl and the MVP.
  • Simulate the offseason

Breaking the all time Running back records for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns do yield a few legacy points, and are helpful points. They key is to find a running play you are comfortable with and run that play over and over. Same goes with a passing play for your back. After each play that is successful, quickly double tap :triangle: to run the hurry up offense to run the same play again as using the hurry up offense gives you more possessions. Beware even on All-Madden with sliders in your favor, you will need to read the play and make the right choice when running the ball and catching the ball for a successful play.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/2D5.jpgJerry Rice Award (S)

As a created WR, surpass Jerry Rice on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Start a new Connected Career as a Balanced Wide Receiver High Draft Pick for the Green Bay Packers. You can join any team you wish, but the Packers have a quarterback in Aaron Rodgers and defensive stars that are young and will be around for many years.

After 5 years, you no longer get legacy points for them. Though, every year you still get legacy points for reaching season milestones in 1200 yards receiving and 20 receiving touchdowns. You will be required to return punts and kickoffs. Trophy unlocks when you surpass Jerry Rice's legacy score of 20,000.

Each Season do the following:

  • Sim all Preseason games.
  • Play the first 5 games to earn at least 4,000-5,000 yards receiving.
  • Play the first five games to earn at least 50-60 receiving touchdowns
  • Play the first five games to earn at least 250 catches
  • Sim remaining games
  • Reach the playoffs
  • First 5 seasons win the Superbowl and MVP
  • Simulate the offseason

It is important to break the Jerry Rice's all-time records in Yards Receiving, Receiving Touchdowns, and Catches. Breaking all three records can net you close to 9,000 legacy points. Thanks to killingjoke87 for the tip.

They key is to find a passing play you are comfortable with and run that same play over and over. A good slant passing play works best. After each play that is successful, quickly double tap :triangle: to run the hurry up offense to run the same play again as using the hurry up offense gives you more possessions. Beware even on All-Madden with sliders in your favor, the defense can still swat balls away from you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/8FC.jpgShannon Sharpe Award (S)

As a created TE, surpass Shannon Sharpe on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Start a new Connected Career as a Vertical Threat Tight End High Draft Pick for the Green Bay Packers. You can join any team you wish, but the Packers were my choice.

Before starting your new Connected Career league, change difficulty to All-Madden (can leave it on Pro). Set all User sliders to 100, CPU sliders to 0, and all Penalties to 0. Leave rest of the settings at default.

This will take between 1-2 seasons to unlock. Play at least the first 5-8 games in the first season. Make sure to win the MVP and Super Bowl. You get lots of legacy points for winning MVP and breaking single season receiving records, since those records are held by wide receivers. You will be required to be on the FG block squad. Trophy unlocks when you surpass Shannon Sharpe's legacy score of 6,125.

Each Season do the following:

  • Sim all Preseason games.
  • Play enough games to earn at least 5,000 yards receiving
  • Play enough games to earn at least 50 receiving touchdowns.
  • Sim remaining games
  • Reach the playoffs
  • First 2 seasons win the Superbowl and the MVP
  • Simulate the offseason

They key is to find a passing play you are comfortable with and run that same play over and over. A shotgun formation with your Tight-end is a good choice. After each play that is successful, quickly double tap :triangle: to run the hurry up offense to run the same play again as using the hurry up offense gives you more possessions. Beware even on All-Madden with sliders in your favor, the defense can still swat balls away from you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/726.jpgReggie White Award (S)

As a created DL, surpass Reggie White on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Start a new Connected Career as a Speed Rush Defensive End High Draft Pick for the Green Bay Packers. You can join any team you wish, but the Packers have a quarterback in Aaron Rodgers with a great offense and defensive stars that are young and will be around for many years. You want to join a good offensive team, because your team will score points forcing the opposing team to line up in the shotgun formation. When the opposing team is in the shotgun formation, it makes it easy for sacks.

Before starting your new Connected Career league, change difficulty to All-Madden (can leave it on Pro). Set all User sliders to 100, CPU sliders to 0, and all Penalties to 0. Leave rest of the settings at default.

This will take between 4-5 seasons to unlock. Make sure in the first five seasons to win the MVP award each year, Super Bowl each year, and by the fourth season break the all-time sack record of 200 sacks. After 5 years, you no longer get legacy points for them. Though, every year you still get legacy points for reaching legacy milestones in tackles and sacks Trophy unlocks when you surpass Reggie White's legacy score of 13,057.

Each Season do the following:

  • Sim all Preseason games.
  • Play the first 4-6 games to earn around 40-50 sacks
  • Sim remaining games
  • Reach the playoffs
  • First 5 seasons win the Superbowl and the MVP
  • Simulate the offseason

The key here is to focus on getting sacks, MVP's, and Superbowls. Defensive players rarely win the league MVP and by getting MVP nets you a large amount of legacy points. Breaking the sack record also nets you a large amount of legacy points. You can run any defensive play, as with penalties off you can move near the Quarterback and wait for the snap to tackle/sack the Quarterback. Beware that "Encroachment" cannot be turned off so DO NOT run into any offensive players before the snap. Thanks to killingjoke87 for the information.

AD3.jpg Lawrence Taylor Award (S)

As a created LB, surpass Lawrence Taylor on Legacy Score in Connected Careers.

Start a new Connected Career as Prototype OLB High Draft Pick for the Green Bay Packers.

Before starting your new Connected Career league, change difficulty to All-Madden (can leave it on Pro, but I suggest not to). Set all User sliders to 100, CPU sliders to 0, and all Penalties to 0. Leave rest of the settings at default.

This will take between 4-5 seasons to unlock. Make sure in the first five seasons to win the MVP award each year, Super Bowl each year, and by the fourth season break the all-time sack record of 200 sacks. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1427/4B0.jpgPeak Performance (G)

As a created player, achieve a player rating of 99 overall in Connected Careers.

This is easiest to achieve if you create a Power Running Back that is High Draft pick of either the Arizona Cardinals or New York Jets as you will start off at 90 overall and be going for the Emmitt Smith Award. Play every game on at least Pro difficulty, but All-Madden is best for 3-4 seasons to earn enough XP to boost your abilities. Playing every game is IMPORTANT because you earn more XP by playing. Focus on getting at least 350 yards with 4 rushing touchdowns and 10-15 catches for 150 yards with 2 receiving touchdowns to earn between 4,000-10,000 XP a game. trophy unlocks after you play/sim the next game that your player is rated at 99.

If you leave leave your current team and go to a team where you are a "POOR" fit for the scheme, then your overall ability will drop. Make sure if you leave your current team, then go to a team where you are a "GOOD" fit for the scheme to keep your current overall ability.

The Key is to get your Physical Grade to 99, Intangible Grade to 100, Durability to 97, Size Grade to 98, and Production to 99. Physical Grade relies on your acceleration, speed, and agility. Your Size Grade will not change. If you play all your games, then your Production Grade will eventually reach 99.

Spend your XP to upgrade your running back in certain abilities, but not all abilities need to reach 99. Listed below is my running back abilities. Get each ability to match my running back, and you will get a 99 overall running back.

  • Speed-92
  • Strength-85
  • Accerlation-90
  • Agility-90
  • Awareness-95
  • Elusiveness-65
  • Ball Carrier Vison-90
  • Carrying-99
  • Juke Move-77
  • Spin Move-84
  • Stiff Arm-99
  • Trucking-97
  • Catching-53
  • Catch in Traffic-52
  • Spectacular Catch-45
  • Route Running-50
  • Realease-55
  • Jumping-65
  • Stamima-75
  • Toughness-99
  • Injury-99
  • Purchase the Development Trait twice
  • Purchase your Consistency to 2

You can also, thanks to Daft Assassin do the following as HB to get Peak Performance.

Quote
Just focus on playing every game and doing practice.

Get at least 350 rushing yards in each game, and then focus on receptions. Win every game.

The stats I raised for the 99 overall were:

  • Speed - 95
  • Acceleration - 91
  • Awareness - 98
  • Ball Carrier Vision - 97
  • Stamina - 79

I didn't raise any other stats. I got about 220,000 XP at the end of the first two seasons. Practiced every time, and skipped preseason games. Once I got the 99 overall, I began skipping practice.

thanks for making the guide. So there is a difference in playing in Pro and in All Madden mode? Seem likes people are split but after failing in the RB mode and QB mode. I"m about ready to give up

Well, you can play on Pro but for me and others on the site seemed to notice things went better on All-Madden difficulty. Thanks too :)

Great guide for a terrible trophy list. Still grinding Smith and 99 overall. Can't wait to be done with them

Thanks :)

That's the key this year as it's a grind.

It was giving me the same amount of xp on all-madden as it was on rookie.Plus much harder on all-madden even with the sliders turned down so if it makes the same xp on rookie why play on all-madden ?

I think changing the difficulty affects your Legacy Score in Connected Careers, rather than the xp you gain.

Comes down to legacy score. That seems to be the general consensus as only early on those who played on all All-Madden were doing better in legacy score. You can do it on Pro too, but I just suggest play on All-Madden. All-Madden isn't that bad once you get used to it with adjusted sliders.

Great guide Doc! Thanks!

Still grinding away at those connected career trophies. I feel like I will get several other platinums before I'm done with this.

Thanks! :)

Those Connected Careers are so much of a grind. Towards the end I was forcing myself to finish. You'll get it eventually :)

Great guide, but I think this is better for the Emmitt Smith trophy and the Peak Performance trophy.

I just finished the HB trophy and 99 overall at the same time. Play on Pro. Adjust the sliders to your benefit(tackling, fumbles, etc). You have to play every single game. I finished it on game 11 of season 3. I got 99 overall on game 4 of season 3. When you play the games, get at least 350 rushing yards, and then focus on receptions. Win every game. The legacy score shoots up in no time.

Sounds good. I'll put in there as it's another way of getting both.

I am finding out there are more ways for each position, but so far RB is the easiest.

I played my first season as a Power Back, same name(!), but finished 7-8-1, no playoffs, on All-Madden, so i'm in season 4 right now. I dropped down to pro since season 2, so naturally, stats are easier.

I found All-Madden draining, so i'm glad difficulty hasn't proven to be conclusive(Ref term!)to higher legacy points.

What NO ONE has mentioned is QUARTER LENGTH. At times, i played games with 15-minute ones to 'beast' records, but for the most part stayed at 7.

Thank you, Doc. I didn't think there would be a trophy guide for this, but here it is.

As for the 600 points trophy, i boosted with the legend, CrazytrainZ28, so REP is key. Another key, is get your boosters' fone number, and just count down, 'Fear Factor style,' 3, 2, 1, press the button, and you should be matched up. Our second boosting session, we matched up the first try.

Leaving the time at 7 minutes is part of the default settings. Didn't see a real need to change the quarter length. You can still do Pro or All-Madden. Crazy was awesome to boost with as he belped me too! :D

Ok i'm in season 2 of my Joe Montana franchise. One of my recievers won mvp even though I have ungodly stats. Am I screwed and now can only get 4 mvps or can i get that 5th one in my 6th season if needed?

Did you focus too much on that receiver? Next season try and spread the ball around more. You should be fine as after 5 mvps you get no more legacy so you should be ok when you win your 5th MVP in year 6.

A similar thing happened to me in my quest for the Shannon Sharpe trophy. I played the first 5 games, beasting like a motha, so i felt, i would be 'good' to sim the rest. I simmed the last week of the regular season, but didn't get the MVP. I'm sure my QB, the Elite - at least in the 2-minute drill - Eli Manning got it, so i just played a few more games to make sure no one could surpass a TE's receiving stats.

Side note, i made the SB with Eli against..............Denver! & his big bro. Couldn't believe it!
