Introduction

Lucha Libre AAA Heroes del Ring is a wrestling game featuring the best wrestlers from one of Mexico's most famous and celebrated wrestling companies. In Lucha Libre AAA, you will take your own created luchador and battle the biggest Técnicos' and Rudos' in a compelling story mode. To have success as a luchador, you will need to gain and sustain popularity to unlock new moves mid-match and perform your luchador's unique special finisher for the win. Want to prove you're the best, then battle online in the classic Hair vs Mask matches. Following the road map and guide below should help you to Héroe del Ring.

Road Map

Step 1:
To familiarize yourself with the game, start off in Training Mode from the main menu. You will be practice with the legendary Apache. In training mode, you will learn how to grapple, move, taunt, and get used to mechanics of the game. After attacking Apache 10 times you will unlock A legend is born.

Step 2:
Now go ahead and create a luchador (located in Luchador Editor from the main menu) that is strong in strength, endurance, and charisma. Speed is not important at all, as the AI can get cheap at times, so you want a luchador that can withstand punishment as well as create punishment. Your luchador's look does not matter, but your strong/weak grapples should focus on the torso along with making your finisher the bear hug. Submission finishers work best when against Espectro Jr and in handicap matches.

Step 3:
From the main menu go to Banner Editor. In Banner Editor, you are going to create a banner for your luchador. It does not matter what your banner looks like or what your banner says. Make sure to save the banner you create to earn you Cheering him up in one of your matches.

Step 4:
From the main menu select Story Mode. You will need at least 2 playthroughs and at most 3 playthroughs in story mode one for each the Técnicos' and Rudos' paths. In Técnicos' playthrough you will unlock: New Megachampion, Extinct Religion, Nothing lasts forever, Unbeaten Honor, and A real Técnico. In the Rudos' playthrough you will unlock: Feed that bone to another dog, Don't cry little brother, The defeated redeemer, No dinasty is left standing, and The most Rudo of all. It is suggested to play both paths on Easy, and play the Técnicos' path a second time on Hard to unlock El Dorado.
  • First playthrough in story mode. It does not matter if you choose the Técnicos' or Rudos', but do play the path on Easy. You are going to take your created luchador, and battle through different challenges to earn a battle with the mysterious and legendary Espectro Jr. Along way through storymode, you will be unlocking new arenas and new luchadors.
  • Second playthrough in story mode. If you choose the Técnicos' path in your first playthrough, then this time you MUST choose the Rudos' path. but do play the path on Easy. Just like in your first playthrough, you are going to take your created luchador, and battle through different challenges to earn a battle with the mysterious and legendary Espectro Jr. Along way through storymode, you will be unlocking new arenas and new luchadors. At the end of your second playthrough you should have earned El Chile más chiloso.
  • Third playthrough in story mode. After beating both the Técnicos' and Rudos' paths on easy, you will need to play either the Técnicos'or Rudos paths on Hard. Best to play the Técnicos' path on Hard, as it is a bit easier. After you beat, Espectro Jr on hard, El Dorado will be earned.

Step 5:
Since you have beaten the storymode at least two times already, you should have Espectro Jr. unlocked as a playable character. Select the King of Kings mode form the main menu, and play as Espectro Jr. Be careful as if you lose, then you will have to start the tournament over. Win the tournament with Espectro Jr to unlock Pero sigo siendo el Rey and Espectro the king.

Step 6:
***Due to Server Closure the Online trophies are no longer attainable***
Time for some online play. From the main menu select Online Play. The online community is very small, and it is almost non-existence. Your goal here is to win five Hair vs Mask matches with your created luchador in a row to earn Rising star, You're nobody, and Long live me! If you happen to lose a Hair vs Mask match, then you HAVE to win three ranked matches with your luchador that lost to get the choice to wrestle the Mask vs Hair match again. Deleting the luchador will not work as the creation slot is tied to the Mask vs Hair stipulation. If you are boosting, then you both will need an extra account.

Step 7:
Time to go after the trophies that you can play 1 vs 1, Triple Threat, Fatal Facing of Four, Any Difficulty, and playing using two controllers. From the main menu select Pride Battle and select a 1 vs 1 match. Alter the rules to your liking, If you have a second controller, then will be much easier with Freeze, and the rest of the 1 vs 1 trophies. In this step you should be able to get the following trophies: Don't try this at home!, He thinks he's a superhombre, Low stakes, Domination, Strong as a toro, Challenge to the death, What a picture!, Raise ravens..., Slippery like soap, Dirty game, and Cheering him up.

Step 8:
Time to go after the trophies that require you to play against the CPU on normal difficulty, and these matches can take place in Pride Battle. Before starting the match set handicap to beginner so your popularity meter will grow quick and you can deal more damage to your opponent. This will require multiple matches, but you should earn the following: ¡TOMA! Y no te doy otra no más, With a hand tied behind my back, Anyone else care to join?, Charismatic, Untouchable, and Where do you think you're going? Also to unlock the final three characters, you HAVE to get That's how you dance!, A fly hard to catch, and Flying without a ticket.

Step 9:
Clean up time. If you happen to missed any of the 1 vs 1, User vs CPU on normal difficulty trophies or, any other game trophies then now is the time to go get them. If you have not already, then now you can enter the Little ones can too code by going to pride battle and at the character selection screen, use the konami code ( ), and you should hear a sound telling you if you did it right. You should by now have all the luchadors unlock (list of how to unlock ALL luchadores are located below), so can earn America's father in law, Which one's the most special?, and Showman. Other trophies you may be missing are: Butter arms, Don't hit the dog, and I want to be a robot.

The locked AAA luchadores are unlocked by completing the following modes/matches:
  • Finish Técnicos' storymode: Apache, Dr Wagner Jr, Kenzo Suzuki, Killer Clown, Konnan, and Psycho Clown
  • Finish Rudos' storymode: Abismo Negro, Alan Stone, Cibernetico, El Mesias, Superfly, and Zombie Clown.
  • Finish both Técnicos' and Rudos storymodes: Espectro Jr.
  • Get the "A Fly Hard To Catch" trophy: Extreme Tiger
  • Get the "Flying Without A Ticket" trophy: Jack Evans
  • Get the "That's How You Dance!" trophy: Marco Corleone
  • Get the "Espectro The King" trophy: Silver King

He thinks he's a superhombre
Make a successful aerial attack through the ropes to outside the ring.

Your opponent has to be standing outside the ring. To perform a successful aerial attack through the ropes run using to the ropes where your opponent is standing, and when near the ropes use to dive through the ropes attacking your opponent.

Low stakes
Free yourself from a pin count having all the disadvantage in popularity.

You need to have NO popularity at all, which means you have no stars in your meter. Your opponent NEEDS to be close or has maxed out his popularity. When your opponent goes for a pin, simply kick out using the correct button sequence. After you kick out the trophy is yours.

A quick way to lower you popularity is to exit the ring and run around the ring, while your opponent in the ring taunts to raise his popularity. Best to use two controllers so you can control when your opponent goes for the pin.

Domination

All 50 HAVE to be done in ONE match, but not all the same time. You will need at least a half star to two stars in your popularity to performer a weak grapple. Best to hit a either a strong/weak grapple on your opponent, and then use your special grapple. To use the special grapple press both and at the same time. Trophy appears you successfully used your special grapple.

Dancing man
Execute 4 complete taunts in a row in triple threat or fatal facing of 4.

Easiest done in a triple threat match as your opponents will likely be fighting each other. Make sure countouts are off, and go outside the ring and execute any taunt four times in a row. You can use any taunt by pressing , , , or . Trophy unlocks after four complete taunts have been executed.

Make sure you let your luchador finish each taunt before going on to the next taunt, so the taunt will count.

Bunch of chickens!
Do a simultaneous elimination of all your opponents in a triple threat or fatal facing of 4 match.

Easiest done in a triple threat match. Before starting the match, make sure countounts are on and set to 10 seconds. Try and lure both of your opponents outside, and make it back in the ring before the 10 count is up. This can be tricky as sometimes the AI will make it back in at the very last second. Be the only one in the ring to survive the 1o count, and the trophy is yours.

Best done with an extra controller or two as you can each controlled luchador stand outside the ring for the easy countout victory.

Raise ravens...
Execute an eye poke 5 times in a row.

Your luchador NEEDS to have the eye poke move. A good luchador to use is El Zorror. To execute the eye poke, press and at the same time. The eye poke has to be done five times in a row for the trophy to unlock. Your opponent needs to groggy or use an extra controller as your opponent to make it easier.

Dirty game

You will get a light red warning after the hit with the weapon, wait till the light red warning goes and just like before hit you opponent and wait. Do this three times with getting disqualified and the trophy will unlock.

A lo mero macho
Win a fatal facing of 4 match in elimination by eliminating all the 3 opponents.

You are able to get this storymode, but can also get it in a Pride Battle match. Create a fatal facing of 4 match with countouts off. Focus on one opponent at a time to build your popularity to its max. When your popularity is at its max, use you special grapple to pin/submit your opponent. Rinse and repeat for the other 2 opponents. Trophy unlocks after the match, if you have eliminated all 3 opponents.

Left him outside!
Win a match by your opponent being counted out.

You can easily get this when going for either A real Técnico or The most Rudo of all . You can also get this by setting up a 1 vs 1 match with countout set to 10 seconds. Get your CPU opponent to the outside with you and attack him with either weak/strong grapples till about 8-9 second left in the count. Race back into the ring to beat the count. Trophy will unlock after the match.

If you use two controllers, have controller 2 simply stand outside and get counted out, while you stand in the ring.

America's father in law
Execute the special grapple of the Apache (classic foul).

See Which one's the most special?

Slippery like soap
Execute 50 successful counters in a match.

To counter press when prompted on the screen as your opponent is trying to hit/grapple you. A successful counter is when you block/push away your opponent. Do this 50 times in one match and the trophy unlocks after the 50th counter.

If using two controllers, have controller 2 tap and your controller (controller 1) press at the same time to speed up getting counters.

Don't hit the dog
Win a group match without letting your partner receive more than 20% damage.

Start a Pride Battle tag team match, and you will need two controllers. Have Player 1 and the CPU vs Player 2 and the CPU. This way you have the advantage and it basically becomes a 2 on 1 match. As the match starts, take care of the CPU opponent the majority of the match to keep your partner from getting hit at all times. Credit to fancyfox.

Facing the CPU on Normal Difficulty

¡TOMA! Y no te doy otra no más
Defeat the CPU by submission in a 1 vs 1 match on normal difficulty, having dealt 100% damage.

Create a 1 vs 1 match in Pride Battle with normal difficulty and set handicap to beginner so your popularity meter will grow quick and you can deal more damage to your opponent. Best to select a luchador with a submission special grapple like Konnan against a week opponent like Jack Evans. You NEED to keep attacking your opponent till his whole body is red. You can check the damage done to your opponent by looking at their silhouette near their popularity meter. Once your opponent whole body is red, go for your submission move and have your opponent tap out. Trophy unlocks after the match.

Where do you think you're going?
Defeat a rudo CPU enemy in normal difficulty 1 vs 1 without letting him leave the ring.

Rudos' have red around their picture at the luchador selection screen. A good Rudo to play against is Kenzo Suzuki. Must play as a Técnicos' in a Pride Battle 1 vs 1 match on normal difficulty.. At the start of the match, quickly attack your opponent as Rudos' will try to leave the ring anytime they are taking damage. Stay on top of your opponent with weak grapples, and then move on to strong grapples. Once you are able to use your special grapple, use it and you should get the win. Key is to stay on top of your opponent, so your opponent does not have the opportunity to exit the ring. The trophy will unlock after the match if you did not let your Rudo enemy leave the ring and won the match.

Flying without a ticket
Perform 10 aerial attacks through the ropes in a 1 vs 1 match against the CPU on normal difficulty.

Best to play with Octogon against Superfly in a Pride Battle 1 vs 1 match on normal difficulty.. You will have to knock your opponent outside the ring. With your opponent outside the ring, run using to the ropes where your opponent is standing, and when near the ropes use to dive through the ropes attacking your opponent. Do this 9 more times and the trophy will unlock. If you happen to glitch after 10 successful attempts, then quit out to the main menu, and the trophy will eventually appear.

A fly hard to catch
Execute the Superfly special grapple 5 times in a 1 vs 1 match against the CPU on normal difficulty.

Play as Superfly against Jack Evans or Octogon in a Pride Battle 1 vs 1 match on normal difficulty. You NEED to have your popularity maxed out, which means all five stars are glowing. A special grapple works best when your opponent is groggy. Best to hit a either a strong/weak grapple on your opponent, and then use your special grapple. To use the special grapple press both and at the same time. Do this 4 more times and the trophy will unlock. If you happen to glitch after 5 successful special grapples, then quit out to the main menu, and the trophy will eventually appear.

Question

Missable trophies: 3, Freeze!, I want to be a robot, and Little ones can too
How are these considered missable? Well for "robot" I can sort of understand, if the person doesn't have the skill/controller for it; but I still wouldn't classify it as a missable. And the other two can easily be earned at any time.

Granted all 3 can be attained at a later time, so I will change them from missable. Though "robot" is very missable if you dont have the skill or a turbo controller. I had to borrow a turbo controler to just get that trophy lol.
