  • Online trophies: None
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 7-10 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 2 + 3 very partial playthroughs
  • Number of missable trophies: Almost all trophies
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, game must be completed on Expert mode
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats

Walkthrough:

Step 1 - Complete the game once with Red Ending without using any Mirrors or Flares

First of all, trophies in this game do not unlock as soon as you fulfill the requirements for them. You must go to your room and sleep, which will save the game and only then you will unlock any trophies you’ve earned thus far.

When you start a new game you will be given two choices. Choose the first one to play on Normal Mode. Complete the game and do everything listed under Demolished Man to get the Red Ending. If you didn’t get the Red Ending, load your last save and keep doing stuff listed there until you get it.

This playthrough should take between 3-5 hours depending on your speed. Check your in-game map often and you shouldn’t have any problems. The Map shows you where to go, which ways you can take and can’t.

Do not use any Dusty Mirrors during this step. Dusty Mirrors act as teleporters in this game and return you back to your apartment. For the Grounded trophy, you must not use any of the mirrors. If you happen to use one, quit the game and continue from your last save.

Also you can’t use any more than 1 Rotting Meats, which is needed to get past the first enemy, or any Flares during this playthrough, which means you have to kill every single monster you face, if you have no other means to proceed. This will help you achieve "Red Ending" though, so it’s a good idea to kill any monsters you face anyway. Don't forget to shoot the Writhing Thing in the basement for Paranoid trophy and claim to know the Man in Blue when asked later on for Schizophrenic during this playthrough.

Don’t get upset if you can’t unlock any trophies, a majority of the trophies will unlock during next step(s).

Step 2 - Start a New Game on Expert Mode for White Ending

Once you complete the game, you can start your next playthrough, which acts essentially as New Game+. You won’t keep anything from your last playthrough but you will get extra items and have extra scenes.

Once you start the game choose to overwrite your save and when asked choose “I know my way around.” this time to start on Expert Mode. In Expert Mode, there will be no :cross: notifications and you will not be able to use any maps.

You also can’t use your handgun at all during this step. All enemies can be ignored, sneaked past or moved out of the way during early stages of the game. Once you get Flares, it will be a lot easier as well.

During this playthrough, assuming it's your second one, try to give Sleepy Cat Plush in your kitchen to every character you find. Not only you will receive some special new items but it's also needed for one of the endings.

During this step, try to keep “You”s mental health as high as possible. You can follow this walkthrough for the White Ending, along with Pacifist and Expert. It is my personal White Ending playthrough and you should get it if you follow it closely, it can also help you with getting almost all other trophies.

Step 3 - Load your last save and complete the game for Green Ending

Once you complete the game and get the White Ending, select Continue on main menu. If you followed the walkthrough provided here, you should get the Green Ending when you reach the room inside the Hospital.

Step 4 - Load your last save and complete the game for Blue Ending

Same as previous step, select Continue from the main menu. Upload your save to Cloud and do everything listed under Old Man and Demolished Man, before you head to the hospital. They should be enough for you to get the Blue Ending. But if your ending is Green, keep doing them for a little longer. If the ending is Red, download your save from Cloud and do them less this time.

Please check this walkthrough for details.

Step 5 - Start a New Game for Yellow Ending

For the Yellow Ending you must have finished the game at least once and tried to give the Sleepy Cat Plush you find in your apartment to every character you can find in the game on your second playthrough. If you did all that, you will get a new picture when you start your third new playthrough.

Please check this walkthrough for details.

Simply try to give the plush to Chie again during that new playthrough to finish the game with a Yellow Ending.

Step 6 - Clean up

You shouldn’t have any trophies left at this point, but if you do start a new game and earn them. It shouldn’t take more than 2 or 3 hours to complete the game when you know your way around.

Collect all Lone Survivor: Director's Cut trophies

You’ve endured all and survived this hellish nightmare… Or have you?

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/731.jpg Fusion Chef (B)(H)

Combine ten types of food

There are several food items for Lone Survivor to consume and survive. Some of these food items can be combined to increase their effect. You must open Lone Survivor’s inventory, choose one of the items, select Combine and use the other food item to combine them into new food.

Unfortunately, there aren’t enough items that can be combined on your first playthrough. You must be on your second playthrough to get enough items to combine. Also Lone Survivor’s mental health must be high to be able to get/cook some of these items.

Please check New Man for more details on how to keep mental health high.

Please check Fast Food Chef for more details on another combinable food item.

Other combinable food items include, must be combined in that order for whatever reason:

  • Sliced Cheese + Cheese Crackers -> Cheese ‘N’ Crackers
  • Irradiated Orange + Fruit Salad -> Special Fruit Salad
  • Fruit Salad + Rice Pudding -> Fruit Rice Pudding
  • Fruit Salad OR Irradiated Orange + Hot Rice Pudding -> Hot and Fruity Rice Pudding
  • Steamed Ham + Warm Beans -> HAM’N’BEANS
  • Steamed Ham + Tin of Pickles -> HAM’N’PICKLES

Note that you won’t be able to get all listed items, as there aren’t many of the same items that are needed as ingredients.

You can check this walkthrough to see how or when you can get the required items/food.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/D1C.jpg Iron Chef (B)(H)

Cook five types of food

There are only 6 types of food that can be cooked in the game. Some of these items require Lone Survivor to have a high mental health.

Food Lone Survivor can cook and items he needs:

  • Tin of Beans -> Warm Beans - Can Opener and Saucepan,
  • Rice Pudding -> Hot Rice Pudding - Saucepan,
  • Delicious Ham -> Steamed Ham - Cooking Pot (High Mental Health),
  • Instant Ramen -> Cooked Ramen - Kettle and Bottle of Water,
  • Rat -> Fried Rat - Saucepan,
  • Burger Patty -> Grilled Burger - Frying Pan (Special item - only on second playthrough, after fulfilling special conditions)

Please check Fast Food Chef for Burger Patty.

Instant Ramen is found randomly inside a box in the supermarket.

Lone Survivor must kill a Rat that can be seen at several places before it can be cooked. This will reduce his mental health drastically.

Eat a Steamed Ham after combining it with another food

There are only 2 Delicious Hams throughout the game, first of which can be found rather early in the game, while the other requires a high mental health.

If you are on your Pacifist run and aiming for White Ending, you won’t be able to cook the first ham and you should have high mental health to be able to get the second one near the end of the game.

Whichever one you decide to cook and get a Steamed Ham, you must first have a high mental state during your first encounter with The Director. If you do, he will give you a Cooking Pot along with a Saucepan. You need a Cooking Pot to be able to cook the ham.

Once you cook the ham, either combine it with Warm Beans (acquired after cooking Tin of Beans) or Tin of Pickles to get HAM’N’BEANS or HAM’N’PICKLES respectively. You will get the trophy once you eat it and go to sleep.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/263.jpg Fast Food Chef (S)(H)

Eat You's favourite food

You’s favourite food is the ULTIMATE CHEESEBURGER.

To be able to get it, you must be on your second playthrough. Not only that but you must also have high mental health. In addition to all that, you must also try to give Sleeping Cat Plush, which you can find in your kitchen, to every person you see in the game to receive certain items.

Items you’ll receive:

  • Lettuce Leaves from Benzido in Chie’s Apartment
  • Sliced Cheese (found randomly in supply box in the supermarket)
  • Frying Pan from The Director in Apartment 204 (only after you received ESP)
  • Burger Bun from Hank in Gun Store (only after you gave him all Health Tonics)
  • Burger Patty from The Man Who Wears a Box during Green Dreams
  • Tin of Pickles (found in bedroom in Apartment 206)

Once you get all those items, cook a Burger Patty and combine it with Burger Bun to get Hamburger. Keep combining other items to get You’s favourite food. Eat it and go to sleep to unlock the trophy. It boosts Lone Survivor’s mental health a lot.

Note that this item counts towards Fusion Chef trophy and you will most likely unlock it thanks to this.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/C76.jpg Fine Diner (S)(H)

Eat ten kinds of food

Lone Survivor needs to consume food in certain periods to survive. There are more than 10 types of food in the game, both good and bad for Lone Survivor. Simply consume 10 of them to unlock the trophy.

Note that cooked and uncooked versions of foods count as separate items, as well as combined food. Even though you can’t get every version as there aren't enough items to cook or combine, there are more than enough types of food to earn the trophy.

You can unlock this trophy on your first playthrough.

Food items include:

  • Fruit Drops (from The Director, requires high mental health)
  • Squid on a Stick (lowers mental health)
  • Tin of Pickles
  • Tin of Beans -> Warm Beans
  • Irradiated Orange
  • Fruit Salad -> Special Fruit Salad
  • Fruit Rice Pudding <- Rice Pudding -> Hot Rice Pudding -> Hot and Fruity Rice Pudding
  • Prawn Crackers
  • Ground Meat (lowers mental health)
  • Delicious Ham -> Steamed Ham -> HAM’N’BEANS or HAM’N’PICKLES
  • Tin of Pickles
  • Beef Jerky
  • Cheese Crackers
  • Sliced Cheese -> Cheese ‘N’ Crackers
  • Tin of Cat Food (lowers mental health drastically)
  • Instant Ramen -> Cooked Ramen
  • Rat -> Fried Rat (lower mental health drastically)
  • Every version between Hamburger and ULTIMATE CHEESEBURGER

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/6C8.jpg Coffee Aficionado (B)(H)

Drink three cups of coffee, no more than once a day

Please check Barista for more details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/437.jpg Barista (S)(H)

Drink three cups of espresso, no more than once a day

To make coffee or espresso, you need to get some items first.

You will find a Bucket on the first floor of the apartment complex in one of the rooms. You must place that bucket under the water leak inside the bedroom of Apartment 206 to be able to get 3 bottles of water per day.

You also need an empty bottle, which can only be acquired by drinking a bottle of milk. You shouldn’t drink another one though because it’s spoiled and affects Lone Survivor’s mental health negatively, in addition to lowering his physical health.

To actually brew the coffee or espresso, you need a Kettle and Moka Pot respectively. Both of which can be gotten from The Director when you meet him for a second time. You must have high mental health for the Moka Pot though.

After you have all these items, you can brew coffee or espresso powders you find during exploration. 3 powders of instant coffee and 2 powders of ground espresso is needed to make 1 cup of each.

Simply drink only 1 cup of coffee OR espresso for 3 consecutive days to unlock the trophies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/8ED.jpg Candyman (B)(H)

Eat five fruit drops, no more than once a day

You will be given 30 fruit drops when you meet with The Director for a second time, if you have a high mental health.

Simply eat only 1 fruit drop per day for 5 consecutive days to unlock the trophy. Eating 1 per day increases Lone Survivor’s mental health, on the other hand consuming more than 1 lowers his mental health instead. You can and should continue eating after earning the trophy to keep Lone Survivor's mental health high.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/A38.jpg Soda Aficionado (B)(H)

Drink a Chilled Can Of Soda

Please check Soda Jerk for details.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/CEA.jpg Soda Jerk (S)(H)

Drink a Chilled Mexican Cola

You must be on your second playthrough to be able to get chilled versions of these drinks.

You can find Can of Soda in several places during exploration. You will get Mexican Cola from Kenny if you offer him Sleepy Cat Plush.

To actually chill the drinks, you also need to complete the "Adopting a Cat" optional quest and offer Sleepy Cat Plush to your adopted cat for a special key. This key will unlock a door in hospital just before the end of the game and you will find a liquid nitrogen tank inside. Use this tank to chill the drinks and drink them right after.

Please check Friend to the Fauna for more details on the "Adopting a Cat" optional quest.

Read all the diary pages

There are only 3 diary pages, that can be found early in the game, in different locations. Simply pick them up, open your inventory, go to third category and choose to read them. It appears the diary pages are not enough though and I'm not sure which ones actually count, so read all notes you can find, listed below. They can be found on your way to Chie's Apartment and you don't have to go out of your way to find them.

You will unlock the trophy when you read them all and go to sleep.

  • Diary Page 1 can be found in kitchen of your apartment.
  • Letter can be found attached to Wing Court Map, 2F just outside your apartment.
  • Crumpled Old Note 1 can be found inside a bedroom in Apartment 205, just before the tunnel section.
  • Diary Page 3 can be found in Fire Exit West, 2F
  • Pill Instructions can be found inside the bedroom of Apartment 206
  • Diary Page 2 can be found in bathroom inside Apartment 206’s bedroom.

Give away a Delicious Ham

At some point in the game, you will find some pills and instructions in Apartment 206’s bedroom. Read the instructions and Lone Survivor will mark a new location in Apartment 205.

When you go there you will find a can opener and a fridge, which contains the Delicious Ham.

When you go back to Chie’s place later, move past it and enter Apartment 202 instead. There you will find a hook in front of a door. Use the ham while standing in front of the hook to distract the monster in the room next door.

You will unlock the trophy when you go to sleep.

See both versions of the dancing dream

You will have a cutscene showing the Man in Blue in a room while you are exploring the streets, it will be inside the building past Gun Store. When he asks if you know him, choose whichever answer you want (preferably the first one if you are going for Red Ending and second for White/Green Ending). When you start a new game, choose the other answer.

Witness all five Green Dreams

To witness five Green Dreams, you must swallow a Green Pill before you go to sleep.

You will receive health, food items or batteries on random when you wake up, depending on which you need most. If you don't need any of those things, you won't get anything.

If you run out of Green Pills, you can find an endless supply of them in Apartment 206's bathroom, where you find Diary Page 2. You must use all the green pills you currently have to be able to get some more though.

Play Soul Brother

After you meet The Director for the third time, he will give you an ESP. It is a handheld console, which you can play with in your apartment on your kitchen couch. It consumes a battery but positively affects Lone Survivor’s mental health if played only once per day.

Listen to your Personal Stereo

You will get a Personal Stereo from The Director during your final meeting just before final boss, if you have high mental health and if you inspected Picadilly Records’ window in the streets.

“Chuck” the Plant is a plant, that is growing just outside of Apartment 206.

To feed Chuck, you must find a bucket and place it under the water leak in the bedroom and drink a bottle of milk to get an empty bottle. The Bucket will provide you with 3 bottles of water per day.

Simply fill the bottle, open your flashlight and interact with Chuck. Choose to give him water and you will unlock the trophy when you go to sleep.

Feed all five tins of cat food to your cat

To feed your cat with cat food, you'll have to find 5 issues of Sleepy Cat Comics in the city and bring them back to The Director first. He will give you cat food for every issue you bring him. When you have them, you have to interact with the stray cat and feed him.

You will find the cat in front of the hospital for the first time. Approach him by slowly tapping the directional button. Stop if you see him change his posture to not scare him off. When you reach him, talk to him and give him one of the tins of cat food.

Your second encounter will be just outside of your apartment complex, left of the fire exit and door. Approach him slowly as before and feed another tin of cat food.

Get back to your apartment and use a tin of cat food in front of the fire exit door. The Cat will come inside, where you can name and finally adopt him. He will stay in your room from now on, feed him remaining two tins of cat food for the trophy. Also talk to him 5 times for Pet Lover trophy. You should talk to him and pet him daily as it positively affects Lone Survivor’s mental health.

If you happen to scare him off, just wait for another day and try again.

Health Tonic locations:

http://i.imgur.com/blRHc0U.jpg

  • It's in the building, past Gun Store, where you have dancing dream sequence and acquire SW Key
  • Outside of Hospital near archway
  • In same street where you get the Crowbar, right next to it
  • Inside El Crab Shack building
  • On your way to crashed bus

Give all five Sleepy Cat comics to The Director

When you get outside of your apartment complex, you will get an ESP when you meet with The Director. Then he will ask for Sleepy Cat comics and will give you tins of cat food in return.

Simply find all five comics and give them to him for the trophy. Don't forget to read them first if you want to increase mental health.

Sleepy Cat Comic locations:

  • Go into the alleyway just next to fire exit stairs, it will be a little ahead
  • Inside supermarket, next to supply box
  • Continue past the supermarket and enter a new street, it will be a little ahead
  • Continue heading right after getting previous one and enter to another street, you will find it after first monster
  • Inside Superflat World arcade

Please refer to map above.

Shoot the Writhing Thing

You will find the Writhing Thing inside a room in middle hallway of the basement. It doesn’t attack or hurt you. Just aim and shoot using your handgun.

Attempt this trophy during your first playthrough and/or when going for Red Ending.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/979.jpg Fearless (B)(H)

Escape from The Daddy without using your flashlight

During last section of the basement, you will need to activate an elevator to clear the main lobby. After you activated and pushed its call button, you will need to escape from The Daddy.

Turn off your flashlight if it’s on before you press the call button and follow this path:

  • Head left until you reach the illuminated entrance. Do not worry about the giant monster closing in on you and keep running left.
  • Head right until you reach illuminated door.
  • Go left all the way, there are no interactions.
  • Go left, get past all 8 rooms and go through the illuminated entrance.
  • Go all the way to the right. Do not interact with the door!
  • Head left and go through the first door you see.
  • Head all the way to right. Note that there will be a monster but it will disappear as you get close, so don’t waste a Flare.
  • Go a bit right and exit through the first illuminated door you see.

Defeat Mother without shooting or flares

Mother is the game’s last boss. You will face it after you go through a crashed bus.

You just need to stay alive and run around for a few minutes and it will go away on its own. Start by heading left when you start. When you reach the bars, wait for it to screech and wind up its razor arms. This is your opportunity to get to right side under its legs. Keep running left and right, pass to other side while it’s winding up and it will eventually go slowly to right side, leaving you alone.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/128.jpg Grounded (S)

Complete the game without using a mirror to travel

Mirrors are like teleporters in this game. When you use a mirror, it will teleport you back to your apartment. When you use the mirror in your apartment, you will teleport back to the last mirror you’ve used.

For the trophy, you mustn’t use any mirrors throughout the game. This means, you’ll have to walk all the way back to your apartment whenever you need to. Attempt it on your Red Ending playthrough. It will be easier as you need to kill as much enemies as possible during that playthrough. You also won’t be able to eat and sleep regularly, which will also affect Lone Survivor’s mental health negatively and is useful for Red Ending.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/FB5.jpg Antagonist (G)

Complete the game using one piece of rotting meat and no flares

As it says in description, you can’t use any flares for this trophy and you can only use one piece of rotting meat, which is needed to get past the first enemy just outside your apartment.

You have to depend on your handgun for this playthrough and kill any enemy you can’t get past otherwise. Killed enemies will stay that way and won’t bother you again. As with the previous trophy, attempt it while you are aiming for Red Ending. If you need ammo, swallow Blue Pills and sleep to get more ammo or give them to Hank at the Gun Store when you get out of apartment complex for a clip.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/D46.jpg Pacifist (G)

Complete the game without firing a single shot

Sneak past monsters, lure them using rotting meat pieces or use flares when you get them. You can finish the game without shooting or killing a single enemy.

If you need more flares, you can trade your handgun ammo with The Director. He will give you 3 flares for each clip (10 bullets).

Please check this walkthrough for Pacifist run.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/AAE.jpg Expert (S)

Complete the game in Expert Mode

When you start a new game you will be asked a question. Answer “I know my way around” to start on Expert Mode.

Expert Mode is not that much more difficult than Normal Mode. Enemies and Lone Survivor have the same amount of health and they deal same amount of damage. Lone Survivor gets sleepy or hungry at the same rate. Only difference is that there won’t be any :cross: indications during gameplay and you won’t be able to check your maps whenever you want.

Please check this walkthrough to find out where to go and what to do.

Discover the Green Ending

Please check Wise Man for more details.

You can also check this complete walkthrough for all endings except Red.

Discover the Blue Ending

This is the ending you get if you kept Lone Survivor’s mental health at average.

To get it, try these:

  • Kill monsters
  • Eat bad food (Dried Squid, Ground Meat)
  • Sleep while you are hungry
  • Sleep for no good reason (sleep again when you wake up)
  • Drink milk
  • Swallow Blue and Red Pills
  • Give Hank Blue Pills instead of Health Tonics

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/28F.jpg Demolished Man (S)(H)

Discover the Red Ending

You must have very low mental health to get this ending. Please note that when you reach the room in hospital, color of the pill will still be Blue regardless.

To get it, try these:

  • Kill every monster you see
  • Kill fat monsters when they are on the ground
  • Get hurt by monsters until screen is flashing in red, do this often (don’t forget to heal though or you may die)
  • Eat rats, fried rats and cat food
  • Swallow Red Pills
  • Attempt to eat Rotting Meats (which can also be used to determine your mental health, if he says they look tasty you are on right track)
  • When you first meet Hank, tell him he should end it all and give him Blue Pills
  • Turn on your flashlight when you are with Hank to torture him
  • Eat snacks (not warm or good food) for no reason
  • Try to cut Chuck the Plant
  • If you get any fruit drops by any chance, eat more than 1 per day
  • Drink coffee more than once a day
  • Sleep when you are not tired or stay awake until you are “Exhausted”
  • Claim to know The Man in Blue when asked

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1967/30E.jpg Peaceful Man (S)(H)

Discover the Yellow Ending

To get Yellow Ending, you must have finished the game at least twice. During your second playthrough, try to give Sleepy Cat Plush to everyone you see in the game, starting with Chie.

After that playthrough, when you start a new game, you will get a different image. Take Sleepy Cat Plush again and try to give it to Chie to get the Yellow Ending. If you did everything right, the game should end there in about 10 minutes.

Try to give the Plush to:

  • Chie
  • Benzido and Kenny at Chie’s Apartment

White/Green/Blue/Yellow Ending Walkthrough (+Pacifist/Expert Run)

During White/Green playthrough, you can and should go for Pacifist trophy, also even though not necessary, you can go for Expert trophy as well by following the guide and maps provided here closely. I will also be doing Optional Quests as well and they will be part of the walktrough instead of a separate section. I won’t be listing every single thing you can interact with in the game, only the needed/most important ones but feel free to interact with anything you want.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before following this guide, I strongly advise you to play through the game once without using any help, especially if you’ve never played it before on PC. Also play it in a dark room, using headphones like suggested for full immersion. You must finish the game at least once, preferably with Red Ending, before following the walkthrough below or you won’t be able to earn certain trophies.

Having said that, I will assume you haven’t earned any trophies even if you’ve earned some on your previous playthrough and note when you unlock possible trophies. Please be aware that the trophies will not unlock at that moment but when you go to bed to sleep and save your game in the process.

  • After the opening cutscene, walk right to next screen.
  • Talk to The Man who Wears a Box 5 times.
  • Drink double-espresso on the table in the middle of the room.
  • Walk right until you face your first enemy. Wait until it turns right and starts walking. Slowly go to the Hiding Spot without getting too close to the monster and press :cross:. Go right until you pass the enemy and press :cross: again to come out of hiding spot. (NOTE: You will be using hiding spots a lot during this playthrough.) Continue right and enter through the opening in curtains.
  • Head right and talk to the woman. You will receive Flashlight. (NOTE: Keep it turned off whenever possible, only use it when necessary. Not only it uses up your Batteries but also attracts monsters. Press :square: to switch it on/off.)
    • “You” will wake up in his room (
      NOTE
: Bed will be used to save your progress, also “You” needs to sleep regularly to have good mental health. I’ll note when you should go to bed). (
      Trophy Unlocked:
      Communicator
      )

    • Turn off the flashlight and pick
      Green Pill
      besides the bed (
      NOTE
: For the sake of this walkthrough I won’t be using any pills except a few Green ones, you shouldn’t use any either, as it affects the ending, but they will come in handy later).

    • Take note of the
      Radio
, it will be useful later.

[*]Go far right to exit the room.

    • Pick up
      Battery
on the floor to the left.

    • Past the
      Dusty Mirror
      . (
      NOTE
: Mirrors act as teleports in the game. Any mirror “You” uses will teleport him back to his apartment. If you use it again, you will be teleported to
      last
      mirror you used.)

[*]Enter through the second door you see.

    • Pick up
      Key to 206
      lying on the couch.

    • Look inside the fridge. “You” will automatically take 6 pieces of
      Rotting Meat
, which will be used as distraction to get past monsters safely. You can stock on them using the fridge but “You” can carry 6 pieces at a time.

    • Pick up
      Sleepy Cat Plush
      on washing machine but
      do not
      talk to it.

    • Pick up
      1st Diary Page
on right side on the floor and read it.

    • Get back to previous room.

http://i.imgur.com/qX3hN0X.jpg

  • Interact with the first door this time and use the key to open it. Don’t go to sleep just yet.
    • You will be in hallway now. Take the
      Map of Wing Court, 2F
and the note. “You” will automatically open the maps when they are picked up. Read the note. (
      NOTE
: If you are playing on Expert mode, you won’t be able to use maps at all. Either follow the instructions or use the maps provided here)

    • Get past
      Apartment 206
      and
      “Chuck” the Plant
and place a piece of Rotting Meat on the floor, left of illuminated hiding spot. (You can leave a piece more quickly by pressing
      :l1:
      +
      :triangle:
) Hide in the spot. When monster gets past you, leave the spot, head right and enter through the door.

[*]Don’t get close to monster and head left. Go through the door at far left.

[*]Walk to right side, pick up Old Note 1 and read it, then enter through the door.

[*]Switch on your flashlight and enter through the hole.

[*]You can switch your flashlight off. Keep walking right and don’t stop until you are out.

    • Once you are out, take
      Prawn Crackers
      on right, take
      Squid Stick
on left but don’t eat it, they lower “You”s mental health when consumed.

    • Look deeply inside Dusty Mirror to teleport back to Apartment 206. (
      NOTE
: Mirrors have another function aside from teleportation. You can use them to check if your mental health is high or low based on “You”s comments, except using them for the first time.)

    • Go to your room and sleep (
      NOTE
: “You” will sometimes say he doesn’t want to go to sleep on empty stomach. If he does, choose not to sleep, eat something first, then go to sleep)

    • Use Dusty Mirror again to teleport back.

[*]Walk right and use the door.

[*]Get past the first door and interact with second one hiding in shadow, immediately next to first one. Try doing it fast, so you don’t attract the monster.

[*]Wait until monster faces right and starts walking, then enter Hiding Spot and head right. Exit the hiding spot when monster pasts you. Go through the door on far right side.

[*]Get past broken stairway. Pick up 3rd Diary Page and read it. Go through the door on left.

[*]Head through first door you see. You will be inside Apartment 203, Chie’s place.

[*]Head right and go through the door on far right.

[*]Head left and pick up Doll. Head back.

[*]Get past the paintings and head through the door on left.

    • Talk to
      Chie
      .

    • Press
      :triangle:
      to enter “You”s Inventory. Choose
      Cat Plush
-> Give to Chie. Then choose
      Doll
      .

    • Talk to
      Benzido
      and
      Kenny
      .

    • Try to give
      Cat Plush
to both Benzido and Kenny. You will receive 3
      Lettuce Leaves
      from Benzido and
      Mexican Cola
      from Kenny.

    • Use the door next to Chie.

[*]Turn off your flashlight. Talk to Chie, then pick up Handgun on right side of balcony. Head inside.

[*]“You” will automatically equip his new handgun. Advance the text twice by pressing :cross: but Do NOT press :cross: again or “You” will fire. As soon as you can move, press :r1: to unequip the handgun and exit through the door on far right. (NOTE: From this point on, you will have to press and hold :r1: to equip the handgun. For the sake of Pacifist, don’t ever press :r1: again, so you don’t accidentally take a shot.)

[*]Take Beef Jerky on the floor. Head right and enter through the second door, the one right next to main apartment door.

[*]Take 206 Bedroom Key from the hook on the wall. Use the Dusty Mirror to teleport back to Apartment 206.

[*]Go far right and use the key you’ve found on the door. Enter through the door.

    • Walk a bit left and take
      Tin of Pickles
      on the floor.

    • Continue going left and pick up
      Handgun Ammo
. Each clip will contain 10 bullets. Even though we are going for Pacifist, ammo is still valuable and will be useful later.

    • Get past
      Box of Pills
for now and enter through the door on left.

    • Look at sink to find
      Pills
in it. Green, Blue and Red, 3 of each. Turn your flashlight on and take the
      2nd Diary Page
next to the sink and read it. Head back outside.

    • Take Box of Pills now and read the instructions. Head right and exit the bedroom. (
      NOTE
: There is some water dripping from the roof, right of the exit. Remember that as we will be back for it later.)

    • Eat
      Prawn Crackers
      . (
      Trophy Progress:
      Fine Diner 1/10
      )

    • Get to “You”s room and sleep. (
      Trophy Unlocked:
      Detective
      )

  • Get out of Apartment 206, walk right and get past monster by leaving another piece of Rotting Meat and hiding. Walk through the door on right.
  • Don’t get close to monster and head inside the room immediately to your left as you enter the apartment. This room was locked before.
    • Once inside, interact with table and pick up
      Can Opener
. This item will be used to open cans of food.

    • Switch on your flashlight, head right and pick up
      Rice Pudding
      .

    • Walk to the fridge and interact with it. “You” will find a
      Delicious Ham
      inside.

    • Switch off your flashlight. Place a Rotting Meat in front of the table and quickly enter hiding spot, left side of the table. Wait for monster to enter the room and get out of the room quickly. This monster will not bother you again as it won’t exit the room.

[*]Now that the monster is out of the way, you can enter the illuminated room on the right, which was inaccessible due to previous monster.

[*]Walk left and pick up Scissors then exit the room.

[*]Head back to Apartment 203 the same way you’ve reached it first time, getting past the monster on the way by hiding.

[*]Instead of going through Apartment 203, get past it and continue heading right. Pick up the Green Pill on the floor, then head inside Apartment 202.

[*]Take the Blue Pill on the right. Head left and interact with the leftmost door, which has a hook in front of it. Open your inventory and select Delicious Ham -> Use on the hook. Exit the apartment.

[*]Now head left and enter Apartment 203. Head right and enter through the door on far right side.

[*]Head left, past the bed and interact with the cabinet. “You” will discover a hole in the wall. Make sure your flashlight is off then squeeze through the hole.

[*]You will encounter a monster but it will be too busy trying to get that delicious ham off the hook, so it won’t bother you. Interact with cupboard to find a new hole and pass through.

[*]When you are inside the new room, you will see some sort of skin in front of yet another hole. Stand in front of it, open your inventory, select Scissors -> Cut to open the hole. Before you pass through it, switch on your flashlight and pick up Tin of Beans on the floor.

[*]If you are not tired, wait for the monster to head right before hiding and sneaking right. You can find a Battery. Once you are done, get past the monster again and leave the room through the door on far left side.

[*]Enter Apartment 201 through the other door.

[*]Switch on your flashlight to find a Can of Soda and 10 powders of Instant Coffee. Switch off your flashlight and exit through the other door.

[*]Get past the Dusty Mirror, don’t use it yet, unless you really need to. Pick up Handgun Ammo then continue to far right side and enter through the door.

[*]Switch on your flashlight and talk to “Her”. Once you are done, “You” will find a Business Card, which will give you the radio frequency of The Director. Read it, then exit through the door you came.

[*]You might notice a door right next to previous door, that leads to a hallway. There is a monster inside but also some items. But since we are doing Pacifist run and the items are not that important (Bottle of Milk and Handgun Ammo) we will skip this room. Exit the room through the illuminated door next to that one instead.

[*]There will be two monsters on each side. Wait for the one on the right to move and quickly hide. Wait for it to pass then go through the door on far right side.

[*]We finally reached the Fire Exit. But before heading downstairs, go to the other door and interact with it. “You” will unlock the door. Now you can reach Apartment 206 faster. Head to Apartment 206.

    • Go inside your room and interact with the Radio. Try The Director’s frequency. Door to Apartment 204 is now unlocked.

    • Eat some
      Beef Jerky
      . (
      Trophy Progress:
      Fine Diner 2/10
      )

    • Go to sleep for now. (
      Trophy Unlocked:
      Nobleman
      )

[*]Head to Apartment 204. You can reach it same way you reach Apartment 203, but it’s located just before the Fire Exit.

    • Once you are inside Apartment 204, head left, get past drawings on the wall and enter through the first door you see. You will find a
      Gas Tank
      here. Take it and leave.

    • Now continue to left and go through the door on far left side.

    • Keep going right until you meet The Director. Talk to him and he will give you special items. Now this is important for this ending and some of the trophies. If you’ve been following this walkthrough, keeping “You”s mental health high, you will be given a
      Cooking Pot
      and a
      Saucepan
. If not, you will receive just the Saucepan and 20 pieces of
      Cheese Crackers
      and 8 pieces of
      Sliced Cheese
instead. If you get the second result, you may still get Green Ending but you’ll miss some other trophies.

    • When you are done, head to the exit. Leave Apartment 204.

[*]Now you have to return to Apartment 206. You can take the long way, through West Fire Exit, Apartments 203, 202 and 201 followed by East Fire Exit, which I don’t recommend. Instead go to Apartment 205, carefully hiding from the monster in hallway. Once you enter the apartment, head to the door on far right and use the Dusty Mirror on the wall inside the room.

    • Head into kitchen, stand in front of the stove and open your inventory. Choose
      Gas Tank
-> Use to replace the old tank. Now you can cook food.

    • If you still have the Tin of Beans, I recommend cooking it AND eating while it’s still hot. Hot food affects “You”s mental health more positively, rather than eating it cold or uncooked. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Fine Diner 3/10 - Iron Chef 1/5
      )

    • Restock your Rotting Meats.

[*]Go back to East Fire Exit and head downstairs.

http://i.imgur.com/bdW9KgU.jpg

  • Pick up Prawn Crackers on the floor to the left. Use the left door.
  • Switch on your flashlight and pick up Map of Wing Court, 1F. Switch off your flashlight and use the first door you see.
  • Inside there will be a Dusty Mirror. You will also find a Bottle of Milk and 10 powders of Ground Espresso. Pick both of them up. Don’t drink the milk yet!
  • Get back to East Fire Exit and use the other door.
  • Head left until you reach an open door. There will be a monster, so wait for it to move away then head inside.

    • While you are inside, you can still see the monster moving around in front of the open door.

    • Pick up
      Bucket
      at the right end.

    • Place a Rotting Meat on the floor and use the hiding spot at right side.

    • Move left and exit through other end.

    • Leave the room. Now that monster will stay inside this room.

    • You can see a small hiding spot right next to the door. Place a Rotting Meat on the ground and quickly hide.

    • Continue left after monster passes you.

    • There will be two more monsters ahead so, place 2 pieces of Rotting Meat on the ground and hide inside another hiding spot.

    • Once they start feasting on meat pieces continue down the hall.

[*]Go through the first door you see.

[*]Head left and enter through another door.

[*]You will find another Dusty Mirror. Ignore it for now and go outside using the giant hole in the wall.

[*]Switch your flashlight on and pick up 10 powders of Instant Coffee, again avoid Squid Stick on the left. Then walk to right through the alley until you reach the end.

[*]Pick up the Can of Soda to receive Fire Door Key. There will be a clip of Handgun Ammo just to your left, use your flashlight and pick it up. Switch off your flashlight. Go all the way back and enter Apartment 101 again.

[*]Get out of the rooms until you reach the hallway with monsters again. Use your newly found key on the door to your left and head through.

[*]Pick up another clip of Handgun Ammo, use your key on the door to the right and head inside.

[*]You will be in a dark hallway with monsters inside. So don’t use your flashlight. Head left until you reach an illuminated door and use it.

[*]You will see an elevator on your right and a Call Button. Press it to find out that there is no power. Head outside after “You” takes a look at his map.

[*]Go back to your Apartment by using the Dusty Mirror in Apartment 101.

    • Head into kitchen and drink
      Bottle of Milk
. (NOTE: Drinking milk will have negative effect on “You”s mental health, so one bottle is enough. It also lowers your health.)

    • Cook
      Rice Pudding
and eat it while it’s still hot. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Fine Diner 4/10 - Iron Chef 2/5
      )

    • Get out of kitchen and go far right, go through the door. Stand by the leak to the right and use your Bucket. You can now get 3 bottles of water each day. (
      NOTE
: Water can be used to replenish “You”s health and mental state. It’s a good idea to take a bottle full of water with you each time you leave home.)

    • Go back to your room and sleep.

    • Get back to the bedroom at far right end of hallway and fill your bottle with water.

    • Before using Dusty Mirror to get back, go out of Apartment 206. Switch your flashlight on and head a bit right. Give “Chuck” the Plant some water.

    • Head back inside and fill your bottle with water again.

    • Use Dusty Mirror to teleport back to Apartment 101.

[*]Get back to East Fire Exit and go down to the Basement.

  • Pick up the Battery on the floor to the left, then head through the door on your right.
    • Switch your flashlight on, go a bit right and pick up 3
      Flares
      . (
      NOTE
: These Flares will be your main weapon from now on, especially when there are no hiding spots, which renders Rotting Meats useless. Flares can be placed by pressing
      :l1:
      +
      :square:
. They stun monsters for a good period of time, allowing you to get past them without getting harmed. Most importantly they don’t damage the monsters, so they have no negative effect on “You”s mental health. But since they don’t kill the monsters, you will need to use a flare each time you need to get past the same monsters. Try not to waste them.)

    • Switch off your flashlight and continue on to right.

    • Head inside the hallway that looks like a tunnel. Be careful that there is monster right nearby.

[*]You will be inside a dark hallway. Switch on your flashlight and head left. Take Map of Wing Court, B1F from the wall. Continue heading left, switch off your flashlight and enter the room.

[*]Inside the room you will find a monster with a Large Fuse next to it. Place a Flare and quickly grab the Fuse. Exit the room.

[*]Go all the way to the right and head back to previous hallway. Place another Fuse to stun the monster and grab Tin of Beans right next to it.

[*]Head left and enter through the first door you see. Use the Dusty Mirror inside.

[*]Home Sweet Home! But don’t go to sleep just yet. Go inside your room and use the radio to listen to The Director’s frequency. He has another special items for you.

[*]Head to Apartment 204. Avoid monsters, use hiding spots. Same as before.

    • Talk to The Director.

    • If you’ve been following the walkthrough closely and keeping “You”s mental health high, you will receive a
      Moka Pot
      , a
      Kettle
      , 30
      Fruit Drops
      . (
      NOTE
: You can use Moka Pot and Kettle to brew
      Double Espresso
      and
      Coffee
at the stove respectively. Double Espresso is better than Coffee, but they will use 3 powders of Instant Coffee or 2 powders of Ground Espresso for 1 cup, in addition to 1 bottle of water. They will keep “You” awake longer without any negative effects. But never drink more than 1 cup per day, otherwise it will affect “You”s mental health negatively.)(
      NOTE 2:
Fruit Drops will increase “You”s mental health, but as with Espresso and Coffee, it will have a negative impact on it, if you take more than 1 per day. Try to take 1 each day.)(
      NOTE 3:
If you are doing badly, you will not get Moka Pot or Fruit Drops)

    • He will also start trading Flares with you. 1 clip=10 bullets of Handgun Ammo for 3 Flares. He gives first 3 for free. Open your inventory -> Give all your
      Handgun Ammo
      to The Director for 15
      Flares
. These will be more than enough for now. You should have 19 Flares right now.

    • Head back to your Apartment. You will need to use one of the flares on your way back. You can hide from first monster but not the second one. And you can’t use Dusty Mirror in Apartment 205 this time or you will have to walk all the way back to Basement again.

    • When you are at home, go to the kitchen and brew some Double Espresso.

    • Head into the bedroom and fill your bottle with water.

    • Keep making Double Espresso until you don’t have any water left.

    • Go to your room. Eat 1 Fruit Drop and go to sleep. (
      Trophy Unlocked:
      Friend of Flora
      )(
      Trophy Progress:
      Candyman 1/5
      )

    • Eat another Fruit Drop (and only 1). (
      Trophy Progress:
      Candyman 2/5
      )

    • Don’t forget to fill your bottle with water and stock up Rotting Meat. You can make Coffee or Double Espresso if you want but try to keep at least 1 bottle of water with you at all times.

    • Drink 1 cup of Double Espresso. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Barista 1/3
      )

    • Go to Dusty Mirror and head back to Basement.

[*]Get out of that room and head left. Switch on your flashlight and read the sign on the wall to mark your map. Then enter the hallway on its immediate left.

[*]You are in another dark hallway filled with 3 monsters. There are no hiding spots, so you need to use Flares to get past. It is possible to stun all 3 of them with one flare, so try to get them when they are close to each other. Once they are stunned continue left, there is a trophy for going inside the room you see and shooting at the thing in there but since we are doing Pacifist run ignore the door and get out of hallway through left exit.

[*]Switch on your flashlight and head left passing the door. Pick up 10 powders of Ground Espresso. Switch off your flashlight and head to right this time. Get past the hallway entrance and you will face 2 more monsters. Place another Flare to stun them and enter through the door you see on the right.

[*]Inside there will be another monster. Place a Flare and approach the hole in the wall and interact with it. You will receive Generator Key. Pick up Handgun Ammo on the right by the monster if you can before Flare burns out. Exit the room.

[*]When you get out, continue heading right and go through the door. Pick up Prawn Crackers and get back.

[*]Use another Flare to stun monsters again and head into the hallway we passed earlier.

[*]Walk all the way to left and enter through the door. You will find another Dusty Mirror in this room and a Bottle of Milk. You can take it but don’t drink it. There is no need to use the Mirror just now, but feel free to get back to your Apartment and save if you want. Get out of the room and continue all the way to left.

    • You will be in a new hallway with a new type of enemy. These monsters are slower but deal more damage. Like other monsters they can be dealt with using Flares.

    • Enter through the first door to find some
      Handgun Ammo
      .

    • Do NOT enter through the third door no matter what. You won’t be able to leave, forcing you to reset the game and reload your last save.

    • Fourth room will have a
      Battery
. Since monsters will stop being stunned after you exit it and are rather close to this door, enter it only if you need to.

    • Enter through sixth door to find some
      Gasoline
      .

    • The eighth room has a
      Beef Jerky
. Go in and pick it up.

    • Once you are done, head right and enter to another hallway.

[*]You will be in an empty hallway with a Rice Pudding in the middle. Pick it up and continue going right.

[*]Go to left on next short hallway.

    • In the new hallway, if you go to left, you will face a regular monster with
      Handgun Ammo
besides it. Waste one Flare to pick it up, since you can trade it for 3 Flares.

    • Head right and you will face 2 fat monsters. Use another Flare to stun them. It’s possible to stun both at the same time, so try that.

    • Continue heading right and you will find some
      Fruit Salad
. Don’t forget to pick it up.

    • Head further to the right to the end of the hallway, passing another entrance and find 3
      Flares
      .

    • Now head through the entrance you just passed.

[*]You will find the elevator but you can’t activate it just yet. Instead use the door on the right.

[*]Head left and use the Dusty Mirror.

    • Go to kitchen and cook
      Rice Pudding
. Open your inventory and select
      Fruit Salad
      and Combine it with
      Hot Rice Pudding
      to get
      Hot and Fruity Rice Pudding
      . Eat it. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Fine Diner 5/10 - Fusion Chef 2/10
      )

    • Go to bed and sleep.

    • Eat 1 Fruit Drop. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Candyman 3/5
      )

    • Drink 1 cup of Double Espresso. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Barista 2/3
      )

    • Use Dusty Mirror and get back to Basement.

[*]Head left and go through the door.

[*]Go through the archway you see on your right.

[*]Head left while ignoring both doors. Use a Flare to stun the monster and keep heading left.

[*]Go through the door on your left, which you unlock with Generator Key. Interact with the statue.

    • After the cutscene, take
      Irradiated Orange
      on your left.

    • Open your inventory when you are next to Fuse Box, use the Large Fuse on it.

    • Go to the middle and use Gasoline Can on controls and interact with them. Elevator is now powered.

[*]Head all the way back to where Dusty Mirror was, avoiding the monster.

    • Use the Dusty Mirror and save the game.

    • Eat 1 Fruit Drop. (
      Trophy Progress:
      Candyman 4/5
      )

    • Drink 1 cup of Double Espresso.

    • Get back to Basement and head to Elevator.

[*]Switch off your flashlight if it’s on. Push the Call Button and get ready to run!

    • Now starts the Chase Sequence.

  • Head upstairs and go through right door.
  • Go through the first illuminated door you see to reach the lobby, where the big monster was.
  • Use the door in the middle and exit the building.

http://i.imgur.com/qjYWUPV.jpg

  • Pick up the
    Fire Escape Key
    on your left.

  • Head right, get past the stairs for now and enter the alley right next to them.

  • Go right and pick up
    Sleepy Cat Comic
    without attracting the fat monster.

  • Get back to main area and use the stairs to unlock the door, which leads back to your Apartment.

[*]Use your radio to listen to The Director’s frequency. He has yet another special treat for you.

  • Same drill, head to Apartment 204.

  • He will give you an
    ESP
    handheld console. (
    NOTE:
You can play with it daily on your couch in kitchen back home. It consumes a full Battery but increases “You”s mental health. But as with other stuff, it will have negative effect on “You”s mental health if used more than once per day.)

  • He also asks for funny papers,
    Sleepy Cat Comic
to be exact. Read the comic yourself first, it boosts mental health then give it to him. You will receive a
    Tin of Cat Food
. We will need these later on. You can get a total of 5 Comics and 5 Tins of Cat Food in return.

  • Trade all your
    Handgun Ammo
while you are at it. You should have 3 clips.

  • Lastly try to give
    Sleepy Cat Plush
to The Director to receive a
    Frying Pan
    .

  • Get back to your Apartment. You can use Dusty Mirror in Apartment 205 this time.

  • Get to kitchen and choose ESP -> Use in front of the couch to play with it.

  • Go to your room, swallow a
    Green Pill
and go to sleep. Talk to The Man Who Wears a Box and you’ll wake up. (
    Trophy Unlocked:
    Barista - Fearless - Gamer
    )

  • Eat 1 Fruit Drop.

  • Drink 1 cup of Coffee. (
    Trophy Progress:
    Coffee Aficionado 1/3
    )

  • Bring 1 bottle of water with you.

  • Get out of your Apartment through Fire Exit.

[*]Go right until you reach Guns & Ammo Shop and enter.

[*]Sneak past the monster by using the hiding spot between guns display and cash register desk and exit through other side on the left. Interact with the door.

[*]Do not turn on your flashlight inside! You’ll meet Hank. Talk to him. Do not choose the 3rd answer. I usually go with 2nd answer, I don’t know if it actually affects “You”s mental health positively though. Hank wants some Blue Pills and will trade Handgun Ammo in return. But don’t do anything for now and leave after talking with him.

[*]Sneak past monster again and leave the shop.

[*]Continue going right. There are 3 monsters but also 2 hiding spots. Use the hiding spots and continue on. If you can’t get past first group of monsters, you can use a Flare. Enter through the open door you see.

[*]There will be a scene. When the Man in Blue asks if you know him, choose “I don’t know you”. Other answer will decrease “You”s mental health. After the scene pick up SW Key and Health Tonic on your left. Do not use Health Tonics! Exit through the door.

[*]Go right to reach another street.

[*]Head left until you reach a door. Get the Map of the City off the wall, then enter through the door.

[*]Pick up Battery and Can of Beans. There is also a Dusty Mirror but ignore for now. Head outside.

[*]Continue going left to find another Health Tonic. Going just a little left will trigger a cutscene. A cat will approach you. Slowly go near the cat. If you see it move and change its posture, stop walking and wait a bit. Continue this until you can talk to the cat. Open your inventory and use Tin of Cat Food. It will walk away after that.

[*]Go right and into the alleyway. There will be 3 monsters inside. There are hiding spots as well and you can sneak past them all. If you can’t use Flares. When you reach the end pick up Ground Espresso and Car Battery. Get all the way back.

[*]Head right this time and you’ll come across another monster. Sneak past it and head through the door you see.

[*]We are inside a supermarket. There are 2 monsters inside but you can sneak past them using aisles and Rotting Meats. Go to right side and interact with the box on the floor. This box contains random food items and they are replenished daily. (NOTE: Do not eat Sliced Cheese if that’s what you get from the box!) Pick up the second Sleepy Cat Comic right next to it. Get back using Rotting Meats, if you run out of Rotting Meats use a Flare.

[*]Keep heading right until you find a clip of Handgun Ammo. Then head through the entrance for another street.

  • Head right and pick up
    Sleepy Cat Comic #3
    .

  • Skip the alleyway and keep going right.

  • Sneak past monsters and pick up
    Crowbar
at the end, along with another
    Health Tonic
    and a clip of
    Handgun Ammo
. Ammo is not as important, so leave it if you have no time.

  • Sneak past monsters again and enter the alleyway we just passed.

[*]Once again try to sneak past all the monsters. There will be 4th issue of Sleepy Cat Comic after first monster. Don’t forget to pick it up. You’ll find 10 powders of Instant Coffee at the end and Wire Cutters. Get back, out of alleyway.

[*]Head inside the room with Dusty Mirror near the Hospital, where we encountered the cat and teleport back to your Apartment.

  • Go to Apartment 204 to see The Director.

  • Read
    Sleepy Cat Comics
then give them to him to receive 3
    Tins of Cat Food.

  • Trade your Handgun Ammo for Flares.

  • Head back to your Apartment.

  • Swallow another Green Pill and go to sleep.

  • Approach The Man Who Wears a Box but don’t talk to him, instead give him
    Sleepy Cat Plush
. Choose whichever you prefer when he asks you a question. I go with first one. You’ll receive a
    Burger Patty
    . (
    Trophy Unlocked:
    Candyman
    )

  • Eat 1 Fruit Drop.

  • Drink 1 cup of Coffee, make one if you don’t have any. (
    Trophy Progress:
    Coffee Aficionado 2/3
    )

  • Bring 1 bottle of water with you.

  • Head outside through the Fire Exit.

[*]Head a little left, past the apartment door and you’ll encounter the cat again. Approach it slowly like before and feed it another Tin of Cat Food.

  • Go back to your Apartment.

  • Use another Tin of Cat Food in front of Fire Exit Door.

  • You’ll adopt the cat. Choose a name for him. I go with “Sunny” but I’ll refer to him as [You’s Cat].

  • Give another Tin of Cat Food to [You’s Cat].

  • Talk to the cat 5 times. I don’t know if regular talks count, so interact with the cat again and actually choose the option if “You” talks without the option.

  • Pet the cat.

  • Now head outside.

[*]Go into the alleyway right next to Fire Exit.

[*]Get past all fat monsters using Flares. Go inside Superflat World using the key.

[*]Go right. Pick up the final issue of Sleepy Cat Comic and read it. Keep heading right for a cutscene. Then exit through the door.

[*]There are some item on left side, but they are not needed at this point. Head right. Sneak past monster and go inside El Crab Shack.

[*]Pick up Health Tonic. There is a Can of Soda as well if you want. Get out of the building.

  • Keep going right to find a tin of
    Fruit Salad
    .

  • There will be 3 monsters. Use a Flare or two to stun them.

  • Keep going right and stop by the Picadilly Records display. This building is just next to the pizza shop. Interact with display. “You” will mention that he misses his tunes.

  • Continue right and head through the alley.

Detective trophy appears to have glitched on me, i had read all 3 diary pages, then i died before getting back to my bed, now i have read them again and slept, the trophy isn't popping :(

I also had problems getting this to unlock, but when i read though every bit of paper I had old note, diary pages and the other notes it popped.

Yes, it appears trophy description is a bit misleading. I tried that myself on another account and couldn't unlock the trophy until I've read all notes you find on your way to Chie's Apartment. I can't tell which ones are actually needed so I'll list them all.

You still haven't unlocked the trophy then? There is also a letter attached to 2nd floor map just outside of apartment 206.

Yes i also got that note when i got the map, i believe that is the old note isn't it? i have the map and you pick the note up automatically with it so i must have it, but in my inventory it just shows the 5 i have mentioned, and no trophy

Ah, I thought that was the letter. I might be confusing them. Anyway, old note I was referring to was in Apartment 205's bedroom, just before the tunnel entrance. Enter 205 and go through the door on far left side.
