LEGO Jurassic World is the 11th LEGO game to be released on the Vita. This game is similar in format to the recently released LEGO Batman 3 Vita game. The levels themselves remain short, and are divided into 3 linked Levels within 12 distinct Chapters. The Chapters loosely follow the events of the 4 Jurassic Movies, with 3 Chapters (9 Levels) devoted to each Movie. The Movies are individually accessible from a main Hub, the Innovation Centre, and can be played in any order. You can freely move between movies at any time, but within a movie, you must play the Chapters and Levels in order the first time through.

The game maintains the recent trend of 5 Brick Challenges per Level. There are no longer Multi-Challenges, and no time based Challenges. Every Level has one Brick for completion, one for reaching a specific Stud total, and 2 for finding 2 hidden Dinosaur Fossil Collectables. The final Brick is for collecting either a Red Brick, an Amber Brick or a Multi-Kit. Each Chapter has one of each of these unique Collectables.

It should also be noted that permanent death has been removed. Like the last couple of games, dying no longer requires a Level restart. Even falling off a ledge, you will respawn.

There is one main Hub, the Innovation Centre, that serves as the central access point for all 4 Movies. On the second floor there is a Store, where all Character, Mini-Kit and Red Brick transactions are performed. The Innovation Centre also is the access point for creating custom dinosaurs (door on the main floor between Jurassic Park II and III entry points), as well as 2 Paddocks on the upper level. These are unlocked as you earn Bricks in story play, and will be necessary for 100% completion.

Each Movie area also serves as a mini-hub. When you first enter, you cannot access the Story Levels, but will need to explore to build the Chapter start points.

Overall the Platinum is very straightforward, and pretty average in terms of length for the Vita LEGO games. Experienced LEGO players should be able to platinum this in about 10 hours, although there is a fair bit of back-tracking that may be a bit more confusing for first time players.

If you enjoyed the previous Vita LEGO games, you should feel right at home here, and find the game worth at least a rental.

Step 1 - Complete the Game

This will be the longest step, totaling about 5-6 hours. Here you will need to complete all 36 Levels across the 12 Chapters, spanning the 4 Movies. It's probably best to focus on the basic Brick Challenges for completing the Levels, and you should be able to easily clear most of the Stud Collection targets, even without Red Brick Stud Multipliers.

While you can approach the Movies in any order (think of it as 4 mini-games within one larger game), I would suggest going through in chronological order, starting with Jurassic Park and ending with Jurassic World. This will unlock the Chapter specific trophies in chronological order. An argument can be made, however, for starting with Jurassic World - while this is technically Chapters 10-12, the game does provide some useful tutorial tips in this Level, so it might be reasonable to start with this Movie.

As with previous LEGO games, do not go out of your way to collect Fossils or Red Bricks, as many of them will be locked. While they may be in plain sight, you will often need a specific character action to access the location. I would, however, recommend replaying the Levels with Red Bricks immediately upon completion. While most cannot be unlocked in your first Story Play, the game does provide most of the basic Characters fairly early, so even early in the game many of the Red Bricks can be earned. In particular, if you can get the Stud Multipliers activated early, you can earn a lot more studs during story play. This will allow you to purchase any items, and be working towards the 2 billion total studs trophy. If you wait until late in your Free Play to unlock and activate your Stud Multiplier Bricks, you are going to have to do a fair bit of grinding at the end. To see where specific Red Bricks are located, please refer to the companion Collectibles Guide.

While not necessary, I would also recommend completing the Bonus Level for each Movie. Unfortunately, this just involves replaying a previous Story Level, usually one of the vehicle or on-rails sections. These are very short, and each rewards a Trophy.

There is a single Trophy for each Chapter in the game, so you will have all 12 by the end of this step, plus the 4 for the Bonus Levels if you do them at this point.

Step 2 - Free Play Preparation

If you followed my advice in Step 1, you should be ready for your clean up run. If not, before going any further, I would recommend going back and obtaining the stud multiplier Red Bricks (4x, 6x, 8x and 10x), as well as the Collectible Detector, Magnet and Destroy on Contact Bricks. These are going to be helpful for getting through the Levels quickly, and earning maximum studs. You will need to bank 2 billion studs and buy everything for 100%.

Recommended Red Brick Levels (credit to themindisacity for the descriptions):

  • Red Brick (x4 Studs) – Jurassic World, Chapter 12, Level 1 (The Alpha) - On the right of the stage, to the right of the trapped person is a small dark cave where the brick is.
  • Red Brick (x6 Studs) – Jurassic Park II, Chapter 5, Level 3 (Compound) - After crossing through the building to the second half of the stage, use the water point to grow a flower trampoline that will take you to the brick.
  • Red Brick (x8 Studs) – Jurassic Park III, Chapter 7, Level 1 (Spinosaurus Escape) – Just after Gallimimus Fossil 1, continue sticking to the left of the screen to immediately run into a dirt pile with the brick inside. This is just after the path curves, right before the end of the stage.
  • Red Brick (x10 Studs) – Jurassic Park III, Chapter 9, Level 1 (The Coast) - When on the top tier of the stage head left and parachute across the gap. Use the dig point to pull up bars that allow an agile character to jump over the fence. It's behind breakable crates in this new area.
  • Red Brick (Collectible Detector) – Jurassic Park III, Chapter 8, Level 3 (Eric's Hideout) - At the beginning of the stage, in the truck you have to use the tow line on. Use Barry or a rope character to pull open the truck door.
  • Red Brick (Stud Magnet) – Jurassic Park II, Chapter 4, Level 1 (Finding Sarah) - Near the beginning, next to the tree you pull down with the vine, is a dark Lego wall. Use Dilophosaurus to open it up and get the brick.
  • Red Brick (Destroy on Contact) – Jurassic World, Chapter 11, Level 2 (Indominus Escape) - At the end of the stage you'll see it through a window. Crawl into the nearby hatch to get to it.

Important note about Characters and Free Play.

Characters are unlocked either through Story progression, collecting Fossils/Mini-Kits and achieving Stud score targets, and in the Paddocks (more on this later). Fortunately, you should get all the unique Characters early in the game, so there should be no need to hunt or purchase Characters for your Free Play run. Furthermore, the game will prompt you to switch to the necessary Character during unique interactions (pressing :vitar: will swap to the recommended Character)

Unlike previous games, dinosaurs can also be selected as free play characters, although there are exceptions. Large dinosaurs, like the T-Rex and Indominus, cannot be used in levels. In a couple of areas, the game will provide a Triceratops or Ankylosaurus for use as part of the story, but that is the only time you can use them, even when they are unlocked.

Unlocking dinosaurs is a different process, and not explained in the game. The Amber Bricks scattered throughout the game, are necessary to unlock the dinosaurs. Each Chapter has 6 Fossils for a specific dinosaur, and one Amber Brick. Collecting the 6 Fossils for a dinosaur will unlock a holographic image in the Innovation Centre, but does not unlock the dinosaur. To earn the dinosaur, you need the Amber Brick from that Chapter (Example, the Chapter with 6 Fossils for the T-Rex also contains the Amber Brick for the T-Rex). Collecting the Amber Brick will unlock the dinosaur for Free Play even if you do not have all 6 Fossils.

Remember that once collected (unlocked) in Levels, Characters and Red Bricks must be purchased before they can be used. Dinosaurs do not need to be purchased. The store can be accessed on the upper level of the Innovation Centre, to purchase unlocked Bricks or Characters. After purchasing, you can toggle Bricks on and off from the pause menu at any time.

Step 3 - Complete all Levels to 100%

Now for Free Play to complete the rest of the Brick Challenges. With the necessary unlocked Characters and Dinosaurs, this should be a quick run. Replay Levels from each of the Movie Sections, accessed from the Innovation Centre. Once in a Movie World, you can see which Brick Challenges are incomplete from the Chapter select terminals, although there is no way to check without first accessing the terminal.

Most of the remaining Bricks should be for Fossils, but if you missed any Stud Collection targets (True Ninja Challenges) or Red Bricks/Amber Bricks/Mini-Kits, now would be a good time to complete them.

Please refer to themindisacity's excellent Collectibles Guide if you need any assistance with these.

During this step, make sure you have all the Stud Multiplier Red Bricks active, so you can make progress towards 2 billion studs

Step 4 - Paddocks

This is a new addition to a LEGO game. There are 2 Paddocks accessible from the main hub, the Innovation Centre. These are essentially mini-hubs, where you use Dinosaurs only. Unlike the Free Play levels, you can use all your unlocked Dinosaurs here, including the large beasts like T-Rex and Indominus. There are no Levels here, but a bunch of task to complete. There are 2 trophies here, one for each Paddock, and there are a number of Characters and Mini-Kits that need to be collected.

themindisacity has done a full walkthrough for both of these Paddocks should you run into difficulties.

Step 5 - Clean up & 2 Billion Studs

It is entirely possible that you have the platinum by this point, but if you are missing any of the following miscellaneous trophies, now is the time to clean them up. Most can be completed or worked towards from Step 1 onward, so please refer to the Trophy Guide for details on the best locations to obtain them.

You should also be near, if not over, 2 billion studs. Depending on when you activated the Stud Multiplier Bricks, you may have some farming after collecting everything else. Note that you must have 2 billion studs banked - any studs spent do not count towards this trophy. Grind out replays of the short driving Levels if you need to farm more studs.

Complete all Story Levels

:tagstory:

This Trophy will unlock once you have completed all 36 Story Levels from the 12 Chapters. You do not need to collect everything or reach the stud targets, simply complete the Level in Story Play.

The 4 Movie specific Bonus Levels are not required for this Trophy

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/955.jpg Remember to Wash Your Hands (B)

Rummage in some Dinosaur droppings

While technically a miscellaneous trophy, this is a task you will be performing repeatedly throughout the game. Early on, this is part of your standard Story Play, so will be one of the first trophies earned in the game, and cannot be missed as you progress.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/da9.jpg Do-You-Think-He-Saurus? (B)

Sneak past a Dinosaur using Camouflage

Story related, cannot be missed.

During the Jurassic Park III - Chapter 8, Level 3 (Eric's Hideout) - you will be required to use camouflage to progress. Several Characters have this ability, which is activated by holding down :circle: to become 'invisible' to dinos.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/ea0.jpg What Lysine Contingency? (S)

Heal all Dinosaurs

As you progress through the Story you will periodically be presented with a sick dinosaur. Typically healing them will require you to rummage through some nearby droppings, then find 3 specific items to feed them.

There are 3 Levels during the Story that involve this task

  • Jurassic Park: Chapter 2, Level 1 - Triceratops Recovery
  • The Lost World: Chapter 4, Level 2 - Camp Sabotage
  • Jurassic Park III: Chapter 8, Level 3 - Eric's Hideout

Completing these is required for Story progression, so this trophy should not be missable, and you should earn it during Jurassic Park III - Chapter 8, Level 3 (Eric's Hideout) if you have played the Levels in order.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/833.jpg Observe and Document (S)

Complete all Photographs

Starting in The Lost World, you will periodically come across interaction points where you will see a camera icon on the ground. This will enact a cut scene where you take a photo of a nearby dinosaur.

Photo opportunities are located in the following Levels

  • The Lost World: Chapter 4, Level 1 - Finding Sarah (1 Photo)
  • The Lost World: Chapter 5, Level 2 - The Long Grass (2 Photos)
  • The Lost World: Chapter 6, Level 1 - Radio Tower (3 Photos)
  • Jurassic Park III: Chapter 8, Level 1 - Lab Interior (1 Photo)
  • Jurassic World: Chapter 11, Level 3 - Main Street (1 Photo)

I believe all of these interactions are mandatory for Story progression, so you should have the trophy before completing your Story Play. If you play the Levels in order, this should unlock during Jurassic World - Chapter 11, Level 3 (Main Street)

Collect all Amber Bricks

Amber Bricks are new Collectibles in the game. Each Chapter has one Amber Brick. You can see which Levels have Amber Bricks, and which still need collecting, from the Chapter terminals in each Movie Hub. Unfortunately there is no way to track this from the main menu or the Innovation Centre.

Once collected, Amber Bricks unlock Dinosaurs to be used during Free Play or in the Paddock. Note that not all Dinosaurs can be used in Story Levels, in particular the large dinos like T-Rex and Indominus, are only playable in the Paddock.

Please refer to themindisacity's excellent Collectibles Guide if you need any assistance locating any of the Amber Bricks, and to check which Levels contain them.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/645.jpg I Understand How to Read a Schematic (S)

Collect all Minikits

Mini-Kits are standard LEGO game Collectibles. Each Chapter has one Mini-Kit. You can see which Levels have them, and which still need collecting, from the Chapter terminals in each Movie Hub. Unfortunately there is no way to track this from the main menu or the Innovation Centre.

There are also Mini-Kits hidden in each of the 2 Paddocks, and these will also need to be collected before you can earn this trophy. Consequently, this trophy will not unlock until you have 100% completion on all the main Levels and Paddocks. Please refer to (B) The (Not so) Lost World for additional details.

Unlike previous games, these do not unlock Characters, but rather small LEGO builds. These can be purchased for use at the store in the Innovation Centre. Once purchased, you can build and place these kits on the small blue pads scattered through the Movie Hubs. Note that there is no trophy associated with placing these, but you will need to collect them all for this trophy, and purchase them as part of the 100% completion required for (G) Next Time It'll Be Flawless!

Please refer to themindisacity's excellent Collectibles Guide and Paddock Guide if you need any assistance locating any of the Mini-Kits, and to check which Levels contain them.

Collect all Red Bricks

Red Bricks are standard LEGO game Collectibles, and act as cheats for the game. Each Chapter has one Red Brick. You can see which Levels have them, and which still need collecting, from the Chapter terminals in each Movie Hub. Unfortunately there is no way to track this from the main menu or the Innovation Centre.

As outlined in the Roadmap, you will want to work on collecting these early on, in particular the Stud Multipliers, as you will eventually need to bank 2 billion studs for (G) Hold Onto Your Studs. Once collected, you need to purchase Red Bricks from the store in the Innovation Centre, before you can use them. You can then toggle them on and off from the pause menu at any time.

Please refer to themindisacity's excellent Collectibles Guide if you need any assistance locating any of the Red Bricks, and to check which Levels contain them.

Every Level in the game has a certain 'score' target. This score is achieved by collecting studs in Levels. Studs are primarily earned by breaking objects, but some are also scattered around or earned by killing enemies or completing builds.

Most of the targets are set pretty low, but a few might be difficult to achieve during your initial Story Play. With the Stud Multiplier Red Bricks, these targets are extremely easy to clear, and you should easily have this trophy as you clean up Levels during Free Play.

You can track your progress from the Chapter terminals in each Movie Hub. Unfortunately there is no way to track this from the main menu or the Innovation Centre.

Unlock all Dino Holograms

Dino Holograms are another new collectible. Each Chapter has one Hologram that can be unlocked when you collect all 6 Fossils for that dinosaur. There are 2 Fossils in each of the 3 Levels for that Chapter. The 6 Fossils for each dinosaur are always within a single Chapter, they are never spread out across the game.

Once you have all 6 Fossils, you can view a Hologram of the dinosaur from the main floor of the Innovation Centre.

Note that collecting Fossils does NOT unlock the dinosaur for use in Free Play, that requires only the Amber Brick.

You can track your progress from the Chapter terminals in each Movie Hub. Unfortunately there is no way to track this from the main menu or the Innovation Centre.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/0bd.jpg The (Not so) Lost World (B)

Collect all Collectables in the Large Paddock

Paddocks are a separate part of the game, and are essentially 2 mini-hubs where you control your unlocked Dinosaurs instead of standard Characters. These areas are both pretty short, but have a number of additional Characters and Mini-Kits that you need to collect. Once you have 100% of the items within a Paddock you will earn the corresponding trophy, as well as progress towards (G) Next Time It'll Be Flawless!

themindisacity has done a Paddock Guide for both of these areas, should you run into difficulties.

Note that you will need most of the Dinosaurs as well as a couple of custom builds in order to complete all the tasks, so it is recommended that you wait until you have finished the Story Play and Free Play clean up before tackling the Paddocks.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/ff3.jpg Next Time It'll Be Flawless! (G)

Achieve 100% Completion

This will be one of the final trophies in the game, if not the last. You will need to finish every Story Level, the 4 Bonus Levels, and earn all 5 Bricks for each Level (Completion, True Survivor, Fossil A&B, and the Red Brick/Amber Brick or Mini-Kit). Additionally, you will need to complete both Paddocks for the extra Characters and Mini-Kits contained with-in.

Lastly, you will need to purchase all Characters, all Red Bricks, and all Mini-Kits.

You may wish to wait on the purchases until after you have (G) Hold Onto Your Studs, as studs spent will not count towards that 2 billion total.

Enable the Stud Magnet Red Brick

This will likely be one of the later Bricks you earn, as there are a few steps to collect it.

The Brick itself is in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Chapter 4, Level 1 (Finding Sarah)

  • Near the beginning, next to the tree you pull down with the vine, is a dark Lego wall. Use the Dilophosaurus to open it up and get the brick.

As noted, the Dilophosaurus is required to spit acid on the black wall, causing it to break. The Dilophosaurus is unlocked by collecting the Amber Brick in Jurassic World, Chapter 10, Level 3 (Indominus Paddock)

  • There are five sets of claw marks scattered throughout the stage. Make sure you get (1/5) before fixing the pump. (2/5) will register after the cutscene. (5/5) is past where you need to cut down the meat crate.
  • If needed for orientation, pictures are in the Collectibles Guide

Once you have collected the Brick, return to the Innovation Centre and purchase it at the store on the upper level. You can then activate it at any time from the menu (press :start:), earning this trophy.

Collect 65,000,000 LEGO studs

See (G) Hold Onto Your Studs

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/324.jpg Hold Onto Your Studs (G)

Collect 2,000,000,000 LEGO studs

One of the very last trophies you will earn, this requires you to have over 2 billion studs banked at any given time. Note that any studs used to purchase Red Bricks/Characters/Mini-Kits will not count towards your total.

Fortunately, with the Stud Multipliers, you can earn 50-100 million studs on most Levels. For maximum efficiency, combine all 4 Multipliers with the Stud Magnet and Destroy on Contact Bricks. Remember to purchase and activate these Bricks after collecting them.

If you follow the guide, you should be able to collect the Multipliers as you go, activating them fairly early on. By the end of Free Play you should be close to, if not over, 2 billion.

Hubs and the Paddocks also contain studs, but if you are short after reaching 100% completion, replay any of the short on-rails/driving levels, to quickly farm 50+million each run, which should only take about a minute.

Place a custom Dinosaur in a Paddock

This trophy may be glitched in a good way. It unlocked for me as soon as I entered one of the Paddocks, even though I hadn't created a custom dinosaur.

If that does not work, you will be creating 2 custom dinosaurs in order to complete the Paddocks anyway. As soon as you switch to your custom lizard, this should unlock.

Please refer to the Paddock Guide for details on the recommended custom dinosaur set up.

Use the Camouflage ability as a custom Dinosaur

If you follow the Paddock Guide you will be creating a custom Compsognathus with Indominus-Rex head. In order to complete the Medium Paddock, you will need to sneak past the security gate. Since you cannot use Indominus in the Medium Paddock, and no other dinosaurs have camouflage ability, you will achieve this trophy naturally in the course of completing the Paddock using your custom Compsognathus.

Customise a Spinosaurus

From the center of the lower level of the Innovation Centre, there is a door between The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III. This is the custom dinosaur creation tool.

Once you have unlocked all your dinosaurs, you can modify them. There are 3 modifiable parts - the head, the body, and the tail. This allows you to create a new dinosaur with a custom ability, and will be required to fully complete the two Paddocks as outlined in the Paddock Guide

To earn this trophy, while in the creator, select a Spinosaurus, then modify one part - for example, add the Dilophosaurus head. As soon as you save your creation, this trophy will pop.

Try to use an InGen Panel as Alan Grant

InGen panels are the electronic locks you come across throughout the game, as pictured below.

http://i.imgur.com/1MxA1z1.jpg

These are found in many Levels, so during Free Play, you can simply switch to Alan Grant (who is unlocked naturally during the early parts of Jurassic Park), and access the panel, earning the trophy.

There is also an opportunity to earn this normally during Story Play, on Jurassic Park III, Chapter 8, Level 1 (Lab Interior). Your default characters include Alan Grant, and this Level has a Panel towards the end.

Fail an InGen Panel once

InGen panels are the electronic locks you come across throughout the game, as pictured below.

http://i.imgur.com/1MxA1z1.jpg

To solve the puzzle correctly, you have to tap on the dinosaur pictures in the order they appear. Simply tap the wrong picture to earn the trophy.

Solve two Equation Panels

Equation Panels are the larger colored puzzle grids, pictured below.

http://i.imgur.com/cIY0rq1.jpg

There are only 2 that appear in the game, located in

  • Jurassic Park - Chapter 3, Level 2 (Kitchen Escape)
  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Chapter 6, Level 2 (San Diego Docks)

It is likely that completing the same puzzle twice by replaying the Level will unlock the trophy, but otherwise you will need to eventually complete both to earn 100%, so this will come naturally on route to your platinum.

Build a LEGO object using Mr. DNA

Mr. DNA is the character pictured below.

http://i.imgur.com/WTM9zSS.jpg

He will be unlocked as you progress through the game. Purchase him for 500,000 studs from the Shop on the second floor of the Innovation Centre, then replay any Level. When you get to a point where you need to build an option, switch to this character and press :circle: to complete the build and earn the trophy.

Get zapped by electricity in the Raptor Enclosure level

The Raptor Enclosure is located in Jurassic Park Chapter 1, Level 3. At the start of the Level you will be beside the Raptor pen. If you recall the movie, a cow is lowered into the electrified pen to feed the Raptors.

From your starting point, simply jump into the electrified wires to earn this trophy. Can be done on your initial Story Play, or subsequently during Free Play.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/7ed.jpg Anybody Want a Soda? (B)

As Dennis Nedry, throw a soda can at an enemy character

There are 3 Nedry variants in the game. 2 are collected from Story progression, and one from the Medium Paddock. They can be purchased for use from the Shop on the second floor of the Innovation Centre. They all cost 250,000 studs.

This can be done in any Level with either human or compsognathus enemies, but for ease I recommend The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Chapter 4, Level 1 (Finding Sarah), as this Level has a couple of Compys right at the start. Switch to Ned and target an enemy by holding down :square: then release to throw a can at them. If you connect with the enemy, the trophy will pop.

This must be done on Free Play, as Ned is not a Story Play Character.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/92f.jpg No Wonder You're Extinct (B)

Complete Dennis Nedry's shooting gallery in the Medium Paddock

In the Medium Paddock to the left of your starting point, you will find a black object that requires a Dilophosaurus to break. This activates a mini-game, where Ned pops in and out of one of 6 caves. Spit acid at Ned by holding down :square: to get a reticle that you can aim, and release when you highlight Ned. Avoid firing at the dinosaurs when they appear. After a few hits Ned will retreat to his vehicle (we all know how well that works out for him), and his Character Token will wash down for you to collect, along with a neat shaving can easter egg.

The trophy will unlock as soon as your last hit registers, causing Ned to retreat to his car.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/3ab.jpg Hello John! (B)

Set both Free Play characters as John Hammond (or variant of him)

There are 2 John Hammond Characters unlocked as you progress through the game. Both cost 250,000 studs from the Shop on the second floor of the Innovation Centre. Once purchased switch both on screen Characters to John to unlock the trophy (either in a Level, or in one of the Hubs/Innovation Centre).

Note that you cannot have 2 of the same Character on screen simultaneously. You need both John Hammond and John Hammond (Lost World). To switch Characters, hold down :vital: to bring up the Character Wheel, then tap the icon at the bottom to go to the full Character select menu. Tap the Character you wish to add to return to play as that person, then hit :triangle: to swap to the other on screen Character, and repeat the process to set the second person.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/3377/218.jpg Reason to Fear Man (B)

Defeat 50 Compy Goons

Compy Goons appear throughout the game. They are the small green dinosaurs that you have to fight and kill. There are far more that 50 throughout the game, so this should come naturally long before you reach 100%.

Alternatively you can farm this in The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Chapter 4, Level 1 (Finding Sarah), as this Level has a couple of sections where Compys continually spawn.

I believe all of these interactions are mandatory for Story progression

That is correct. There aren't any free play only ones.

This trophy may be glitched in a good way. It unlocked for me as soon as I entered one of the Paddocks, even though I hadn't created a custom dinosaur.

I don't think it's a glitch. If you're like me, you went into the paddock to check it out as soon as you had enough bricks to open it - which means you had the Triceratops amber brick, which is nearly impossible to miss. I think the game unlocks custom dinos once that happens.

Once purchased, replay any Level and switch both on screen Characters to John to unlock the trophy.

Just a minor thing: this can be done in the hub. You don't actually need to go into a stage to do it.

Another excellent guide! Well done, my friend. :applause:

Odd, cause the description suggests you need to be using a custom dino. I know I went to the Paddock before I had created a custom dino.

Yeah, I think it has a few "default" customs that are just cobbled together based on whatever you've collected.

See you back for LEGO Avengers? ;)

But of course! I'll be there with bells on.

Not sure if .com is offering an E3 promo, but amazon.ca has pre-order 3, get 30% off on video games. Figured I might as well get 30% off LEGO Avengers, that means day 1 on the Vita for $20. Can't beat that :applause:

Unfortunately Transformers Devastation wasn't up there.

Guide is perfect but there is one thing i would add to the guide that you did not mention is for Anybody Want a Soda? trophy As Dennis Nedry, throw a soda can at an enemy character. You should tell people a level with enemies to get the trophy quicker:)

EDIT:I would put The Lost World: Jurassic Park,Chapter1,Level1(Finding Sarah) can be done right at the beginning by throwing a soda can at a Compy Goon(small sinosaur)

My daughter is playing through it, so I have lost access to both the game and my Vita :p

Too bad the console version is so buggy, would have been a great couch co-op game :(

Sorry to ask something that is not so trophy relared, but does anyone have "valid" extra code for PSV version?

Though my LEGO game is PSV EU version, I wondered if there is even extra code in this version.

Thanks for this helpful guide and thanks for helping me to solve this problem.

If you have both of the console versions, then this is definitely the easiest and shortest step. Enjoy

thanks for the guide and special mention to he collectibles one ;)

got the plat without having "in bank" the 2 000 000 000...

i was doing the bonus of the 4th film, to get studs with good red bricks for that (studs multiplier, destruction by contact, stud magnet), and without touching anything : just play, then replay, then replay again.

65 000 000 studs for each run (in a minute, i guess).

during the -last- run, got the plat. and back in the hub, i can see that i've only got "in bank" 1 947 117 930. guess that whatever sstuds you use to buy characters or red bricks or whatever, it counts in the 2 000 000 000.

Finishing up grinding out some coins for 2 billion then buying up everything. Easy, fun and very enjoyable lego game like all the others!

Thanks for the guide! Definitely doable without it but helps to more quickly find collectables after playing through on story mode.
