Lego Harry Potter - Collectables Guide

I have broken the section down between each type of collectable. As you will find more than one collectable within each room.

 

The collectibles you need are:

 

Students in Peril = 50

Red Bricks = 20

Characters = 167

House Crests = 4 pieces in each level, making a total of 24 completed house crests

Gold Bricks = 200

Breakdown

There are 200 gold bricks in total. These are broken down as follows:

24 for Beating every Story Level

24 for getting true wizard in every story level

24 for completing the house crest in each story level

50 for rescuing all Students in Peril

16 for completing all lessons

12 can be purchased from Diagon Alley

10 for completing all the bonus levels in Gringotts Bank

4 for putting together the lego items in the basement of The Leaky Caludron

1 In Diagon Alley

1 in Knockturn Alley

34 in Hogwarts

 

 

Students In Peril

Year One - A Philosophers Stone - (6 Students)

Level 1: Half-way down Diagon Alley you will see a bench on the right hand side that you can have to use Wingardium Leviosa on to be able to reach the higher level. Stand on the bench and Player 2 should automatically raise you up. The student is in plain sight right next to some Blue Lego Studs.

 

Level 2: When you face the troll he will smash some toilet stalls. The student is in one of these stalls

 

Level 3: You have to use Ron’s Rat or Hermoine’s Cat to run up a tunnel to allow you to advance. Above the tunnel you will see a load of fallen Silver barriers use Reducto on this barrier to save the student.

 

Level 4: In the second room of the restricted section, around where you found the green pipe, use the Reducto spell on the birdcage, you will then need to use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to create a clock. Use Wingardium Leviosa again on the clock to save a student.

 

Level 5: Right near the start in plain sight, he's trapped in a Devil's Snare so use Lumos Solem.

 

Level 6: In the room with the flying keys you need to get a broom off the statue on the left. Fly up to the right of the screen where you can see some Devil’s Snare plants. Use Lumos Solem on these and you will free the student

 

Year Two - The Chamber of Secrets - (6 Students)

Level 1: After you leave the Weasley’s house via the floo network, youend up in Borgin and Bukes, inside the shop to the left is a cabinet with a silver lock. Shoot this lock with Reducto.

 

Level 2: You will come across an area where there are some pixies holding a bridge, on the right side of this area there is a chest which you need to use Lumos on to remove the vines then Reducto to remove the silver lock.

 

Level 3: In the common room use Wingardium Leviosa on the broom to sweep the chimney, and then wave to the painting to free the student.

 

Level 4: In the room whereyou start the flashback at the very right is a cabinet that you need to use a book character on. From this cabinet you will be given a key, take the key over to the left to open another cabinet which the student is in.

 

Level 5: The student is trapped in a spider web in clear sight during the final boss fight with Aragog.

 

Level 6: After you have used an animal in the tunnel one of the toilet stalls will become covered in Devil’s Snare. Use Lumos on this and the student will be free...

 

Year Three - The Prisoner of Azkaban - (6 Students)

Level 1: One the train during the start you can open a set of doors with a Dark magic character the student is in this room.

 

Level 2: After you face Draco Malfoy during the snowball fight, you'll be back in Hogsmeade. To the left is a snowman hit it to save the student.

 

Level 3: Once you climb to the top of the area where you see Filch and his cat you will see a door with a silver lock, hit the lock with Reducto to save the student

 

Level 4: You have to make a strength potion towards the end of this level. After you have used the potion proceed up the ladder.The student is in plain sight, stuck to a spider web.

 

Level 5: When you have to distract the werewolf a cutscene will play showing you a record player. When this finishes go to the left and you will find the student stuck in a tree

 

Level 6: When you walk along you will see a student stuck by a dementor to the bottom left of the walkway. Carry on a long and you will find a door with a silver lock on. Use Reducto on the door and then go down and kill the dementor.

 

Year Four – The Goblet of Fire - (6 Students)

Level 1:To the right of the starting point you will see a shed that has a silver lock on it. Shoot this lock with Reducto to save the student.

 

Level 2: Towards the end of the level there is a section where you have to pull three chains. To the right of this is there is a chest with the student inside.

 

Level 3: After you have flown off on your broomstick you come to a section of the game where you have to run away with a dragon chasing you. The dragon gets stuck in doorways when you run through rooms. The second time this happens you will see a cabinet with silver lock. Shoot this with Reducto to save the student. You will need to be quick though as the dragon only stays stuck for a short period of time.

 

Level 4: From the start of the level you will see two cabinets one contains the student.

 

Level 5: After you get to the second set of pipes enter the pipe so you are in the background of the level. Go to the far left and you will see a boat. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the oars in the boat and then use Wingardium Leviosas again to move the boat forward.

 

Level 6: Towards the end of the maze you have to make a spring to jump over a wall. Move down from this point and you will find the student held by some Devil’s Snare. Use Lumos to free the student.

Students in Peril (continued...)

 

Hogwarts

Gryfindor Dorm:In the Gryfindor dormitory you will see a couch with someone lying on it.Right next to this couch you will see a student encased in ice. Fire magic at it and the student will be saved.

 

Hufflepuff Dorm (Entrance): You will see a Mandrake on the floor. Put on some earmuffs and place the mandrake in the pot to save the student.

 

Hufflepuff Dorm: Near the Yellow settees you will see a plant near the fire place. Shoot this with magic and the student should appear out of the fire place.

 

Ravenclaw Dorm: In the middle of the bedroom you will see a student near a book. Shoot the chain to the immediate right of the book and the book will grab the chain. The student should then be saved.

 

Slytherin Dorm: In the bedrooms you will see a student stuck behind a bookcase. Shoot the bookcase to free the student.

 

Moving Staircase: At the very top of the staircase, keep going up as high as you can, you will find a student just standing there. By getting that high you will save the student.

 

Main Lobby: On the left of the room you will see a load of books. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the books to create platforms upto a student that is hanging.

 

Great Hall Entrance: In the room before you enter the Great Hall, you will see a rolled up banner towards the top left hand side which is very high up. Shoot this banner and the student will roll out.

 

Great Hall: High up on the left hand side of the great hall you will see a student stuck in a spider web. Shoot this web to free the student.

 

Library (Second room after using the ageing Potion): Put the Mandrake in a barrel to save the student.

 

Small Courtyard (Fountains): You will see student being attacked with magic, by some other students (By Malfoy I think) Shoot the other student to scare the bullies away.

 

Boy’s Bathroom: You will see some green cupboards. Shoot these and the student will be saved.

 

Clock Tower: As soon as you enter the room you will see a student stuck in a spider’s web. Shoot the web to free the student.

 

Charms Classroom (Underground – Left): To the right of where you have to build the dragon you will see a student stuck in a spider web. Shoot this web to free the student.

 

Charms Classroom (Underground – Right): To the far right of this room, you will see a student stuck in some Devil’s Snare. Shoot this with Lumos to free the student.

 

Charms Classroom (Main Corridor): To the very left of the classroom you will see an apple. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the apple to free the student.

 

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Gear Room): The student is trapped in a Spider’s web, right near the entrance to this room. Shoot the web to free the student.

 

Herbology Classroom (2nd Room): You will need to get together all the ingredients to make a strength potion. Use the potion and then pull the chain to free the trapped student

 

Quidditch Field (Normal): You will see a student standing on a platform next to the billboards. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the banner that is rolled up which will create a platform for him to get down.

 

Quidditch Field (Time-Turner): Near the big tent you will see a chest with a silver lock on. Shoot this lock with Reducto to save the student.

 

Outside around Hagrid’s Hut: On the right hand side of Hagrid’s Hut you will see a student trapped by Devil’s Snare. Shoot it with Lumos to free the student.

 

Hagrid’s Garden (Normal): You will see a basket towards the left of the area. Use Wingardium Leviosa on this basket for it to shoot out a seed. Shoot the seed and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pumpkin that grows.

 

Hagrid’s Garden (Time Turner): To the right of the screen you will see a student trapped underneath a pumpkin. Shoot the pumpkin to save the student.

 

Near the big Lake: You will see the student stranded on a pier in the middle of the lake. Smash the crates you see lying around and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to form a bridge.

 

Owlery (Normal): Towards the back of the room you will see two owls holding a tapestry. Shoot the owls so they open the tapestry to free the student.

 

Owlery (Time Turner): In the middle of the room you will see a student’s head poking out of a bird bath. Shoot the bird bath to free the student.

 

There are a total of 50 Students in Peril. You get a gold brick for Each Student you save.

Characters

Year One – A Philosophers Stone

Level 1

Mr Ollivander – After using the Goblin to open the first gate in Gringotts Bank, there is a chest to the right hand side. Use an evil character to open the chest.

Tom the Innkeeper – After using the Goblin to open the first gate in Gringotts Bank, there is a chest to the left hand side. Use an evil character to open the chest.

Griphook – After you leave the minecart ride, go to your right and it is in a chest. Use an evil character to open the chest.

Level 2

Ron (Girl Disguise) – Right near the start of the level is a cabinet that you need to use a character with a book to open.

Harry (Hogwarts) – Just before you enter the bathroom, there is a desk with a silver lock. Shoot the desk with Reducto

Madam Malkin – When you enter the bathroom, head to the left. Use Reducto on the cabinet and then use the bouncy spring you get to reach the token

Level 3

Fred (Qudditich) – Right next to the animal tunnel you should see this token

Harry (Girl Disguise) – Near the second section where you have to build some lego pieces, go to the far right. Under the stairs you should find this token. Use either Scabbers or Crookshanks to reach it.

Marcus Flint - After you go up the ladder which was guarded by a prefect, you will see a cabinet on the left hand side. Use a Dark Magic user to open the cabinet to get the token

Level 4

Harry (Pyjamas) – One the right hand side of the room you should see a cream coloured item. Destroy this to get the token.

Filch – You need to use a goblin to open the vault that is right next to the stairs in the second room.

Neville (Pyjamas) – In the next room as you find the Filch character token, you will see a cabinet. Open this with Dark magic to get Neville.

Level 5

Fang – Towards to bottom right of the start of the level you should see a dig point. Dig here with Fang to get his character token

Draco (Hogwarts) – Use Dark Magic on the Orb you see after climbing the stackable Lego pieces

Hagrid – In a chest just to the right as you leave the underground section

Level 6

Harry (Slytherin Disguise) – In the room with the flying keys you will see a cabinet with a Silver Lock. Shoot this with Reducto to get the token

Professor Quirrell (Voldemort) – In the chess room use Dark Magic on the chess piece that is near the door you enter the room.

Ron (Cardigan) - In the chess room use Dark Magic on the chess piece that is near the door that you exit the room.

 

 

Year Two – The Chamber of Secrets

Level 1

George Weasley – One the right hand side of the level you will see a dig spot next to the basketball hoop. Dig here with an animal to get the token

Arthur Weasley – In Borgin & Burkes store after you use the floo network you will see a Cabinet on the right hand side. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Harry (Sweater) – In Knockturn Alley you will see a chest next to the big chain that opens the gate. Open the chest to get the token

Level 2

Draco (Quidditch) After you get the snitch, you have to make a staircase. Past this staircase you will see a cabinet. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Dobby – It is above one of the beds when you are in the hospital wing. Jump on the bed to reach it

Madam Pomfrey – In the second area of the hospital, you will see a machine. Use Dark magic on the machine to get the token.

Level 3

Vincent Crabbe – This is in plain view on the right hand side of the bathroom. Use Reducto to get past the barriers

Gregory Goyle – In the Slytherin Common room you will see a cabinet on the right hand side. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Ron (Slytherin Disguise) – This is in a desk behind the settees on the right hand side of the room. Shoot the desk with Reducto to get the token.

Level 4

Moaning Mrytle – In the bathroom to the right you will see a cabinet. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Vocalist - As soon as you enter the second section you will see a vault. Open it with a key character (Goblin) to get the token

Professor Vector – At the end of the second section you will see a vault. Open it with a key character (Goblin) to get the token

Level 5

Professor Sinistra – After you cross the water you will see a cabinet near the wall. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Ron (Sweater) – After the monkeys create you a new ladder, climb up it and then go to the left. The token should be in plain sight.

Lucious Malfoy – During the fight with Arogog, you will see a chest to the right with a silver lock. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token.

Level 6

Gilderoy Lockhart –In the underground area you will see two chests with Devil’s Snare on them. Use Lumos to remove the Devil’s Snare and then Dark Magic to open the chests to get the token.

Wizard (Green) - In the underground area you will see two chests with Devil’s Snare on them. Use Lumos to remove the Devil’s Snare and then Dark Magic to open the chests to get the token.

Tom Riddle ­– To the right of the room there is a vault. Open it with a key character (Goblin) to get the token.

Year Three – The Prisoner of Azakaban

Level 1

Stan Shunpike – At the front of the train, you will see a chest. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Ernie Prang – At the very right of the platform you will see a cabinet. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Trolley Witch - On the train during the start you can open a set of doors with a Dark magic character the token is in this room

Level 2

Crabbe (Sweater) – After you cross the wooden platforms you will see a Black Orb. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Goyle (Sweater) – Once In Hogsmeade you will see a shed with a silver lock on it. Shoot this with Reducto and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the shed to get the token

Draco (Sweater) – After you have the snowball fight with Draco, you will be outside the three broomsticks. Walking around is a wizard dressed in red holding the token. Shoot him and he will move, follow him and shoot him again. He will move a final time and stand next to a basket. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the basket to frighten him. He will then drop the token

Level 3

George (Sweater) – You will come to a room where you will see a cabinet in the left hand side. Open this using a character that has a book and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the bench to lift you up high enough to reach the token.

The Gray Lady - Once you climb to the top of the area where you see Filch and his cat you will see a door that can only be opened by a dark magic character. Enter the room and the token is to the left.

Fred (Sweater) – To the right of the above door is a window. Go in there and the token is behind the table

Level 4

Witch (Gray) – When you face the tree at the beginning you will see a dig spot to the right. Dig here to get the token.

Peter Pettigrew – In the shrieking shack to the left you will see a cabinet. Open it with Dark magic to get the token.

Hermoine (Red Hooded Top) – When you start the final section you will see a chest with a silver lock. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token.

Level 5

Professor Lupin – At the back of the upper level, you will see some bushes. Shoot these to uncover a chest. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token.

Cornelius Fudge – Go to the right in the frozen pond area and use Reducto on the silver leaves to uncover a door that you need to speak to the snake to unlock. Talk to the snake to get your token

Macnair – After you have knocked the boulder down onto the pond, go to the right to get the token.

Level 6

James Potter (Ghost) – To the left of the fountain you will see a silver lock. Shoot this with Reducto to open the door. The token is in the room

Lily Potter (Ghost) – After you enter the building you will see a chest with a Silver lock on it. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token.

Sirius Black – When you enter the final section at the bottom of the screen you need to move a gargoyle to get access to a window. In this room is the token

 

Year Four - The Goblet of Fire

Level 1

Death Eater – You will come across a Book that tries to kill you whenever you go near it. Just South of this book you will see a black ord. Use Dark Magic on the orb to get the token

Ginny (Hooded Top) – After you jump over the fire head towards the bottom of the screen where you will see a pile of wreckage. Destroy this to receive your token.

Barty Crouch Junior – Right next to one of the potion ingredients you will see a chest with a silver lock. Shoot this with Reducto to claim your token

Level 2

Durmstrang Student – After you cross the second set of blue fires you will see a cabinet. Open it using Dark Magic to get your token.

Cedric (Sweater) – You will come across a vault about half way through the level. Open it with a key character (Goblin) to get the token

Dragon Handler – In the second area of the game you will come across a chest with a silver lock. Shoot this with Reducto to get the token.

Level 3

Cedric (Dragon Task) – Near the start of the level is a small fire with a barrel next to it. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the barrel to put out the fire and the token is yours.

Harry (Dragon Task) – After you use Fang to get past the rocks you will see a black ord. Use a Dark Magic on the orb to get the token.

Fleur (Dragon Task) – When you run from the dragon he will get stuck in two different dorrways. When he get stuck in the first doorway the token will be on the right hand side.

Level 4

Moaning Myrtke (Swimsuit) – Right next to the start of the level you will see a cabinet. Open it with Dark Magic to get your token.

Cedric Diggory – Near a Barrel you will see Boggart Chest. Use Riddukulus on it to get the token.

Fleur (Lake Task) – When you reach the area with a bath you will see a cabinet with a silver lock. Shoot it with Reducto to unlock the chest.

Level 5

Harry (Lake Task) – When you reach the first pipe, go through it and then head towards the left to find a chest. Hit it to get the token.

Guitarist – When you reach the second area, use the pipe to reach the foreground. You will see a chest you can hit to get the token.

Krum Shark – When you reach the third area you will see a chest in the background.

Level 6

Cedric (Maze Task) – You need to hit 8 plants to get the token to appear. Once you hit the plant a yellow flower will appear. Hit all 8 to make the token appear

Fleur (Maze Task) – Down a small corridor you will find a boggart chest. Use Riddukulus on it to get the token.

Viktor (Lake Task) – Need where you get the sign from the pixie, you will find a Dark Magic wall. Open this area and you will find the token.

 

Diagon Alley

Hermoine (Ball Gown) – In Madam Malkin’s Robes you will see a load of shirts on the floor. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the shirts to get the token.

Harry (Tuxedo) – Up stairs in Madam Malkin’s Robes you will see some curtains. Shoot the right hand curtain to open it. The person inside will have the token

 

 

Knockturn Alley

Igor Karkanoff – You will see the token on the walkway you have to pass under. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the planks to create a staircase to reach the token.

The Bloody Baron – Jump on the cart that the planks were sitting on and then use it to knock you up into the token

Shifty Wizard – Further down to the path, you will see a chest sitting on a table. Shoot the chest to reach the token.

Voldemort – Collect all 200 gold bricks and then go into Borgin and Burkes to build a new doorway. Go into and complete the bonus level

Hogwarts

Gryfindor Dorm (Normal):

Ron (Hogwarts) – Right near the exit from the boy’s bedroom you will see a chest which the token is in

Gryfindor Buy – In the main dorm, you will see a settee with someone lying on it. The token is behind the settee

Gryfindor Dorm (Time Turner):

Dean Thomas – This token is in a suitcase which can be found on the left hand side of the room

Seamus Finnigan – You will see a chest in the room with a silver lock. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token

Hufflepuff Dorm:

Neville Longbottom – At the entrance to the dorm use the mandrake to destroy 3 glass vials in this area and the token is yours.

The Fat Friar – To the left is a painting. Hit this and a cake will appear. Hit the cake to get the token

Hufflepuff Girl – In the Bedroom area you will see a chest. Open this and the build the pieces inside to get the token

Ravenclaw Dorm:

Penelope Clearwater - At the entrance, hit the gate to your left and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to get your token.

Gabrielle Decour – In the middle of the room, near the settees. Hit the chest for a Quidditch ball to appear. The token will then appear.

Padma (Ballgown) ­– The token is above one of the beds on the left hand side. Jump on the bed to reach to token.

Slytherin Dorm:

Rita Skeeter – At the entrance to the dorm, shoot all the locks on the floor with Reducto. Then build a chain with Wingardium Leviosa. Use a strong character to pull the chain.

Slytherin Girl – Shoot five green lamps in the main area to get this token

Slytherin Boy – At the entrance you will see a painting. Hit it and then destroy the box that he drops.

Moving Staircase:

Professor Binns – At the top of the tower you will see a large statue with two candles next to it. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the candles to get the token.

Percy (Sweater) – In front of the door to the recreation room you will see two small pots. Hit these with magic to get the token.

Recreation Room:

Dudley Dursley – On the desk in the room is a computer. Hit the monitor and the computer to get the token

Mr Mason – There are two bobbleheads on a table to the right of the room. Hit both to get the token

Mrs Mason – To the right of the room is a lawnmower. Hit this with magic to get the token.

Dumbledore’s Office:

Professor Dumbledore – On the top level pull the heavy chain, and then use Dark Magic on the Chest behind the desk

Nearly Headless Nick – To the right is a coat rack, shoot this to get the token.

Professor Dumbledore (Grey) – On the top level pull the heavy chain, then destroy all the planets on the solar system disply.

Main Lobby Hallway:

Doris Crockford – Hit three panels on the wall in this area to get the token. One of them has a silver lock, so you will need to shoot this one with Reducto.

Main Lobby:

Madam Prince – Use Wingardium Leviosa on the torches that are on the walls in this area to make the token appear.

Great Hall Entrance:

Harry (Blue Shirt) – The token can be found behind the staircase on the right hand side of the room

Witch (White) – One the left of the room you will see a cabinet. Use Dark magic on the cabinet to get the token

Great Hall:

Molly Weasley – At the back of the room on the left hand side you will see a load of silver plates. Shoot these with Reducto to get the token

Colin Creevey - At the back of the room on the Right hand side you will see a load of silver plates. Shoot these with Reducto to get the token

Library (Second room after using the ageing Potion):

Ravenclaw Girl – To the right is a gate with a silver lock. Use Reducto to break the lock and then build the pieces with Wingardium Leviosa to get the token

Susan Bones – Hit the statue near the painting near the entrance. Then go to the painting next to the cauldron and the use the flowers to reach the token.

Library (Second room after using the ageing Potion):

Wizard Red – On the top left level, use Dark magic on the wall and enemies will appear. Defeat all of these using various spells and the token will appear.

Alicia Spinnet – On the bottom right use a book character to open to cabinet and then use Wingardium Leviosa to build the vehicle. Run over the five books that appear to get the token.

Classroom Lobby:

Gryfindor Girl – An NPC wil be holding the token. Shoot him and he will move continue doing this until he stands next to barrel. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the barrel to make him drop the token.

Ernie MacMillan – Pick up the Mandrake and then break six glass vials that are scattered throughout this room.

Hannah Abbott – There are 8 Torches on the wall of this room. Use Wingardium Leviosa on all 8 to unlock the token.

Lee Jordan – On the upper section you will see three gold statues. Hit all three to get the token

Millicent Bulstrode – Near the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom you will see a chest. Use Dark magic on the chest to get the token.

Small Courtyard (Fountains):

Angelina Johnson – There are torches on the wall on the outer side of this area. Hit them all to get the token.

Hufflepuff Prefect – The token is in the air. Use Imobilus on the Pixies to get the chest which contains the pieces you need to reach the token

Slytherin Prefect – You will see a crate in this area that you need to open with Dark Magic. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the seeds and the Watering can that appear to get the token.

Courtyard (Garden):

Oliver Wood – Pull the chain in here and a broomstick will appear. Use this to fly through the rings and the token will appear.

Main Courtyard (Big Fountain):

Ravenclaw Prefect – Use Reducto on the silver knight in the fountain, then use the plunger to clean up the mess on the floor to get the token.

Hufflepuff Boy – Use the Mandrake to destroy 4 glass vials that are around the room

Bathroom Lobby:

Hermoine (Cat) – Open the cabinet with a character that uses a book, and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the Lego Pieces that appear to get the token.

Boy’s Bathroom:

Madam Hooch – Next to a green cabinet is a rubbish bin. Shoot it to knock it over then use Wingardium Leviosa on the spray can to write on the wall to get the token.

Clock Tower (Normal):

Vernon Dursley – At the top speak to the snake that will then grab the egg and get stuck in a hole. Hit the snake’s tail to get the token.

Clock Tower (Time Turner):

Madam Rosetta – At the top use Reducto on the book cabinet to unlock it and then use a book character to get the token

Milkman – This is in plain sight when you enter the area.

Professor Snape – At the left of this room is a chest. Shoot it to get the token

Divination Classroom:

Hermoine (Blue Top) – There is a cabinet at the back of the room. Use Dark Magic to open it to get the token

Professor Trelawney – At the back of the room is a vault. Use a key character (Goblin) to open it to get the token

Charms Classroom (AboveGround – Left):

Boy – On the top level, you will see a load of books. Use Wingardium Leviosa on these to get the token

Charms Classroom (Underground – Left):

Mad Eyed Moody – There are some orbs near the dragon. Destroy these and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to get the token.

Charms Classroom (AboveGround – Right):

Girl – There are four drooping candles in the room. Hit all four with magic to get the token.

Charms Classroom (Underground – Right):

Professor Flitwick – To the right of the entrance is a boggart chest. Use Riddikulus on it to get the token.

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Classroom 1):

Ron (Pyjamas) – Use Wingardium Leviosa on four torches that are attached to the wall to get the token

Pavarti (Ballgown) – There are three cobwebs on the wall in this room. Shoot all three to get the token

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Classroom 2):

Parvarti Patel – There are four blue books in this room that you have to shoot. Shoot all four for the token

Station Guard - Use Wingardium Leviosa on four torches that are attached to the wall to get the token

Ginny Weasley – At the back of the room there is a door that you need to use Dark Magic on to open it (This room leads to the Pendulum room). Open the door to get the token

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Pendulum Room):

Draco Malfoy – Four Pixies are holding some pendulums. Hit all four with Immobilus to get the token

Professor Quirrell – On the bottom level, head towards the exit and you will pass by this token.

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Gear Room):

Viktor (Tuxedo) – Hit the seven lamps that are hanging on the wall to get this token.

Harry (Maze Task) – On the top level of this room there are 3 multi-coloured banners. Hit all three for the token

Herbology Classroom (2nd Room):

Fleur Decalour – In the room you should see a chest with a silver lock. Shoot it with Reducto to get the token

Herbology Classroom (3rd Room):

Professor Sprout – Destroy five glass vials with the mandrake to get the token.

Drummer – On the top level is a Boggart chest. Use Riddikulus on the Bogart to get the token

Transfiguration Classroom (2nd Room):

Professor McGonagall – Use the spell you learn in the first room to shoot the dummies and you will get the trophy.

Fred Weasley – The token for this can be found behind the chalkboard.

Quidditch Field (Normal):

Padma Patil – Use Wingardium Leviosa on the green flag poles to get the token

Katie Bell – Use Wingardium Leviosa on the red flag poles to get the token

Ravenclaw Boy – Use Wingardium Leviosa on the popcorn stand to the right to make the token appear

Quidditch Field (Time-Turner):

George (Quidditch) – To the right is a dig spot. Use this and the Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces. Two sets of corn will appear. Use Wingardium Leviosa to get the token.

Quidditch Training:

Viktor (Dragon Task) – Open the chest with Reducto and then use the broomstick to fly through the hoops to get the token

Harry (Quidditch) – In this area there are five dig spots. Use an animal to dig them all.

Outside around Hagrid’s Hut:

Percy Weasley – Use Wingardium Leviosa on four carrots which are dotted around the area for the token to appear.

For the next two character tokens you will need to prepare. Firstly use immobilus on the pixies so they let go of the pumpkin. Then shoot off both rockets which can be found toward the bottom of your screen.

Ginny (Cardigan) – Use the pumpkin to ride in the sky to get the floating token.

Viktor Krum - Use the pumpkin to ride in the sky to get the floating token.

Cedric (Lake Task) – If you return he later another rocket will appear, shoot it with Reducto and then use the pumpkin to reach the token

Hagrid’s Garden (Normal):

Ron (Brown Jacket) – Use Wingardium Leviosa on three mushrooms in the area to get the token.

Amos Diggory – To the right is a chest with a silver lock. Use Reducto on this and then Riddikulus on the Boggart.

Hagrid’s Garden (Time Turner):

Petunia Dursley – To the right is a dig spot. Use an animal to dig here to get the token

Gilderoy Lockhart (Green Jacket) – To the left is an axe secured by a silver lock. Use Reducto on the lock and the hit the axe to get the token

Near the big Lake:

Ron (Tuxedo) – After you rescue the student in peril in this area, this token will appear where the student was standing.

Bassist – Around the grass area there are moles that keep appearing. Shoot all of these and the token will appear

Owlery (Normal):

Cho Chang – On the top level put three records on the record player with Wingardium Leviosa to get the token

Hermoine (Gray Hooded Top) – To the right on the room use Wingardium Leviosa on the bridge so you can reach the token

Owlery (Time Turner):

Hermoine (Hogwarts) – On the top level, shoot the green apple on the desk then use Wingardium Levios to fix the record player

Barty Crouch Senior – To the right if the room there is a cabinet. Open it with Reducto then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to create a vehicle. Use the vehicle to clean up the bird droppings

Outside around Hagrid’s Hut: Use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to build a raincloud, float it around with Wingardium Leviosa to create 4 flower patches. Use Wingardium Leviosa on all 4 patches to get the red brick.

Owlery (Time Turner): On the 2nd floor use Wingardium Leviosa to build the projector then use Wingardium Leviosa again to lift the red brick out of the screen.

HouseCrest Locations

Year 1 - The Philosophers Stone

Level 1

Red: In the Leaky Cauldren use Wingardium Leviosa (WL) on the candles to the left. Then again on the 2 piles that appear to build 2 pictures. The Crest Piece will show up, use WL on the stools to form a ramp up.

Green: In Diagon Alley go to the shop on the left and press Circle at the window to wave. The owner will open the door and drop the crest.

Yellow: Use WL on the barrel in the alley and build them into a sweeper. Once you blow up the blockage at the other end of the alley use the sweeper to clean up the green stuff and the crest will appear.

Blue: In Gringotts there's a silver lock to the right, you need Reducto spell to destroy it. Then get Hagrid to pull the chain for the piece to appear.

Level 2

Red: In the first room hit 9 vases to create flowers to get the crest.

Blue: Again in the first room look for the light globes, turn them on with WL. Theres 4 in this room and 3 more in the troll room.

Green: When you get to the fountain use WL on the bits of chicken to put them in and unlock the crest.

Yellow: You need to use Reducto spell on the shiny handle in front of the fountain. After that use WL to turn it and the piece will appear.

Level 3

Red: When you start you see a flag low on a pole infront of you, raise it with WL then through the level there are 6 more (7 in total) scattered aroung but all easy to spot.

Yellow: After you have climbed the blocks you built its behind a gate. You need to use Reducto on the gate to get through then use Immobilus on the pixies.

Green: After you drop the prefect into the hole, jump around the gate to the left and use Dark Magic on the barrel.

Blue: You will see this above you when you first have to stack the lego bricks to move on. It can be got by moving the bricks but is much easier to do from the position of the Green above. Move over to the left and you can jump to it.

Level 4

Red: Use Hermoine or another book character on cabinet in first room.

Yellow: In the first room hit the flower vases, there are 6 in total, 4 in here and 2 in the next room.

Blue: Use Dark Magic on the area behind where you get the spider for the potion on the upper right.

Green: In the 3rd room hit the 3 spider webs for the piece.

Level 5

Yellow: You need to destroy 3 yellow flowers 1st to the right at the start, 2nd after climbing the first ladder, 3rd is right near the beehive.

Green: You need Dark Magic to destroy 10 rocks. None of them are hard to find just make sure you walk around everywhere.

Red: You use Fang to drain the water. You will see 6 fish, use WL to put them in the puddle.

Blue: You need to use Reducto on the chest to the right after you drain the water.

Level 6

Red: After distracting Fluffy and dropping down the hole, right behind you is a silver chest caught in a Devil's Snare, use LS.

Green: In the flying keys room, destroy all the keys that aren't near the large one. There's 10, fly up and there are all easy to see.

Blue: In the chess room, use RD on the silver chest in the background. Another horse will appear, ride it and it will throw you into the crest piece.

Yellow: Off the side of the chess set (the closest side to the screen), there's some wreckage you can use DM on to make the piece appear.

 

Year 2 - The Chamber of Secrets

Level 1

Red: Use WL on 6 gnomes within the Weasley's garden. You need to lift them then press and hold circle to spin and let go to throw them.

Yellow: To the right of the garden use WL on the bricks to build a vehicle. Drive over 7 little plants and carrots will pop out, use WL on the 7 carrots to fire them into the air.

Green: In the shop with the hand statue, hit the fanged treasure chest on the left, then jump inside and use Dark Magic on the black orb.

Blue: On the walkway above Knockturn Alley. Use WL to build the stairs then you need Dark Magic to move the blockage.

Level 2

Yellow: Raise 4 house flags with WL. First 2 are where you start the other two are later when Dobby has the purple rock.

Blue: Theres 4 barrels throughout. Hit them with a square spell for a flag to pop out.

Green: In the area with the pixies holding the bridge theres a scroll on either side of the bridge, use WL to put them up then you need a Dark Magic character wave at them both to release the crest.

Red: You need Griphook to open the safe right at the end of the level.

Level 3

Red: Use Hagrid on chain to left at the start, build the bricks and use the plunger to clean 6 green spots.

Yellow: In room 2 with snake and the grates use WL to put 3 fish in the water.

Green: In the Slytherin dorm use Dark Magic on the orb.

Blue: Also in dorm use WL all 6 lights.

Level 4

Yellow: In the bathroom use Reducto on the chest then use the plunger on 5 puddles.

Red: When you get the flashback use WL on 6 knight statues.

Green: In next area hit a spell on 3 radios you can hit with X. All easy to spot but be careful to get the 3rd before use WL to make the exit.

Blue: When you can control Tom Riddle use his Reducto spell on the shiny chest.

Level 5

Green: Use WL on 10 brown mushrooms again all are easy to find as long as you move around the whole area.

Blue: Where you cross the water on a broom use Reducto on the shiny gate at the back, jump on the frog and go through the gates that appear

Yellow: At the spider boss use Dark Magic on the orb to the left.

Red: A bit tricky as you are moved on quickly but during the vehicle section there are 5 boxes to smash. They aren’t that hard find, mainly in the path just you cant usually go back if you miss one. You’ll find 2, then scene, 2 then scene and the 5th in the last section before the end.

Level 6

Red: In the sewer area there are 4 skeletons to build with WL. All fairly easy to spot just dont exit the area till you have all 4.

Yellow: Also in the sewer there are 4 dig spots. Again fairly easy to spot just dont exit the area till you have all 4. The last is across the bridge.

Blue: At the boss use Reducto on the gate to the left, then WL to build the bricks.

Green: After you get Basilisk to go underwater use WL on 3 piles to make instruments. One to the left and to over the right.

House Crests (continued...)

Year 3 - The Prisoner of Azkaban

 

Level 1

Yellow: At train station theres 5 red boxes you need to destroy, the last is on the other side of the spinning gate.

Red: Use the dig spot on top of the train, then hit the box that appears.

Green: On the train during the night when jump up to the left of the scabbers tunnel to reach the crest.

Blue: In this same section there are 3 cases with a snake logo. Hit them with a spell to open the other 2 are in the next area.

Level 2

Yellow: Theres 10 spider webs to destroy in the tunnel part. You need all 10 before you go up the ladder.

Blue: Outside the sweet shop hit the 3 owls with a spell and they fly up to windows on a house knocking pieces down, build the snowman then hit him with a spell.

Red: At the top past the big snowman you melt down there's a dig spot to the left. Ride the snowball into the skittles.

Green: When you move the giant snowball it will land next to a Hagrid chain. Pull this to release the crest.

Level 3

Blue: Break the 5 gold statues scattered through the first part of the level.

Yellow: Once you have opened the door in the potion room use Dark Magic on the boulder that falls off.

Red: In the next area with the cat and guy that chases you use Dark Magic on the sparkling wall next to where you get the last ingredient.

Green: In the next hallway use a Slytherin character to wave at the man in the painting.

Level 4

Red: When your fighting the tree use the dig spot to the left then use Dark Magic on the chest.

Yellow: When you are under the tree destroy 5 yellow plant bricks the 1st of them is next to you when you enter but they are all in your path and easy to spot the last is just before you exit the area.

Blue: After catching the rat use the dig spot next to you, then over to the right use the Hagrid chain and use Reducto on the shiny thing up here to reveal a closet. Grab earmuffs and the mandrake on the way back to break the glass box.

Green: Also in this area use Dark Magic on 5 black rocks all easy enough to find with a little walking around.

Level 5

Blue: Use Reducto on the birdcage to the left near Buckbeak.

Green: Once you fill the water take the frog through the 5 checkpoints.

Red: Use Lumos Solem on the roots to drop the record player then play 2 records, one is near where the player gets rebuilt the other is in the dig spot.

Yellow: In the Dementor area go to the broken pieces of boulder on the right then use WL to build a way up then hit some leaves an WL your way up to some black rocks.

Level 6

Blue: Theres 5 lamps in the first area.They are all easy to spot, use WL on them to remove the ice then hit them again to turn them on.

Green: In the inside section where you build the platforms to get across its in the safe at the end.

Red: Inside the window you smash with the gargoyle next to puzzle cupboard.

Yellow: Use the Reducto spell to destroy 6 shiny gargoyles. In this area, the last is just before you go up the spiral stairs across the bridge.

 

Year Four - The Goblet of Fire

Level 1

Green: North of the rabid book is a tent you can use Dark Magic on.

Red: There’s 8 fires in the first area, use WL on the barrels next to them to put the fire out.

Yellow: In the next area you need to save 5 people to get this crest. One is at the bottom south under some bricks, cast a spell to remove them. The next is behind a fire up from where you start. After you move the cart the 3rd is to the bottom under more wreckage. Then further along at the bottom behind a fire where you get the pink ingredient. The last is to the top behind another fire.

Blue - Where you save the 3rd wizard for the yellow crest use Reducto on the shiny boxes. Dig down then use a Ravenclaw character on picture.

Level 2

Red: There are 9 lamps to hit in the first area all are in your path, just make sure you hit them all by the time you have the Green crest piece below.

Yellow: After you play the xylophone for the dragon hit yellow repeatedly till it pops up.

Blue: Next to the blue dragon use Dark Magic on the skeleton then rebuild him with WL and he will fish the piece out of the water.

Green: At the end of the first area use Reducto on the two locks then use WL to bring the crate down and build a dragon to get crest.

Level 3

Green: Use Dark Magic on the rocks to lift them up and the dragon will break them. All easy to spot in the first section.

Yellow: Also in the first section wait for the dragon to hit the tall rocks with his tail then use Dark Magic on the rubble.

Red: When you use the blocks to create the staircase to the golden egg it is at the top.

Blue: When running from the dragon it’s on the left after 3 doorways.

Level 4

Red: Fill the water tank to the left of the bathroom and the piece will show up inside. Use the Hagrid chain to release it.

Yellow: In the bathroom use WL to light 3 torches

Green: In the bathroom cast a spell on 4 cabinets one is a little hidden on the far right.

Blue: Use Hermoine to access the puzzle cupboard.

Level 5

Blue: Cast a spell on 9 shells through the first section. They are quite scattered between fore and background.

Red: Probably the trickiest in the game, you need to find 6 green worm like creatures and turn them into baloons. They are in pairs under rocks. Use WL on the rocks to pull them out, twice on each rock. These are through the whole level, the last 2 where you pull the anchors.

Green: In the 3rd area use Dark Magic on the chest then use WL on the skeleton.

Yellow: When the squid pumps ink into the water just use Lumos Solem to get rid of it all, he'll disappear back into the rock and the crest will pop up.

Level 6

Blue: Near the beginning of the maze use Dark Magic on the left wall and on the other side dig up the crest.

Red: Near where you freeze the pixie and build the direction sign there's a Dark Magic wall go through and it’s just sitting there.

Yellow: In the maze sections use Lumos Solem on 5 Devil's Snares. All easy enough to spot.

Green: In the Voldemort fight use WL on 3 skeletons which are lying next to gravestones.

Gold Bricks

 

Diagon Alley

In the Owl Emporium, shoot the items on the left hand side of the screen and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces to create a vehicle. Ride the vehicle around the shop sweeping up all the dust to get the gold brick. This may take quite a while so you will need to persevere.

 

Knockturn Alley

This is really easy to get. Go into Borgin and Burkes and you will find it sitting behind the main counter at the front of the store

 

Hogwarts

Gryfindor Dorm (Normal):

Destroy the tops of all the beds in the bedroom and the gold brick will appear above one of the beds.

Gryfindor Dorm (Time Turner):

To the top of the room is a chest. Open this and then jump into the chest to collect the brick.

Hufflepuff Dorm:

Right near the entrance use Reducto on the silver lock and then Wingardium Leviosa the cake that appears to the painting...

Ravenclaw Dorm:

You need to hit five gold books to get the gold brick to appear. Three are in the main living area and two are in the bedroom.

Main Lobby Hallway:

Shoot six floating candles in this area for the gold brick to appear.

Slytherin Dorm:

In the bedroom area there is a chest near the back; shoot it to send some stuff into the fountain. The gold brick will then appear

Dormitory Corridor:

Shoot all the banners in this walkway to get the gold brick.

Moving Staircase:

Shoot the painting of a Quidditch player and he will throw the ball. Follow the staircase and then shoot any paintings of Quidditch players you see. At the very top of the staircase the dog will throw his bone which will make the gold brick appear.

Recreation Room:

You will need to get three rabbits into the spinning wheels near the car.

Shoot the painting near the door, then Wingardium Leviosa the letter into the mailbox for.

Shoot the pile of scrap on top of the bookshelf.

Shoot the TV on the right 4 times to get the last rabbit and the gold brick.

Dumbledore’s Office:

Next to the desk is a chest with a silver lock. Shoot this with Reducto to get the gold brick.

Great Hall Entrance:

Shoot four banners in this room to make the gold brick appear.

Great Hall:

On the tables you will see two green cups and a green jug, there are six in total scattered around the room. Shoot all six to make the gold brick appear above the tables. Use Wingardium Leviosa on plates at the end of three of the student tables to create a platform for you to use to reach the brick.

Library (Second room after using the ageing Potion):

Hit three brown wizard hats that are dotted around this room to get the gold brick.

Main Courtyard (Big Fountain):

Use Dark Magic on the Armour right next to the owl and a broom will appear. Use the broom to get the blue stud and another one will appear. Keep collecting blue studs and the gold brick will appear at the end of the circuit.

Bathroom Lobby:

On the upper left path, use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces behind the glass to move the ball. One free shoot it and it will turn into a snail. Follow the snail to the gold brick.

Clock Tower (Normal):

To the right on the top level you should see a purple gear. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the gear into place alongside the other gears. The bell should chime and the brick appear.

Clock Tower (Time Turner):

On the left of the room hit the painting and some pieces will appear. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces. Then use Wingardium Leviosa on the clock.

Classroom Lobby:

On the second level to the very left of the screen useWingardium Leviosa on the pieces lying around to create a large H. You will then need to use Reducto on the Silver panel to reveal an animal tunnel. Use this tunnel to get the gold brick

Charms Classroom (Underground – Left):

After you have fixed the dragon, jump onto it for it to send you out of the trapdoor. You will get the gold brick as you are shot upwards.

Charms Classroom (Underground – Right):

There are some claws in this room holding a chain. Use Lumos on the vines holding the claws and this will release the gold brick.

Defence Against the Dark Arts:

After you learn Reducto, shoot seven different silver things in this room to unlock the gold brick.

Defence Against the Dark Arts (Pendulum Room):

On the bottom level of this room head to the right and then use Imobolius on the Pixies to make the ceiling fall and the gold brick appear.

Herbology Classroom:

The gold brick is in plain view at the back of this room. Jump onto the plant and then from here onto the cabinet. Jump from the cabinet to reach the brick.

Quidditch Training:

You will get this gold brick when you get the character token Viktor Krum (Dragon Task)

Potions Classroom (2nd Area):

You will see the brick in plain site behind an aging barrier. Either use a character with a beard (Dumbledore) or use the aging potion in the other room.

Transfiguration Classroom (2nd Room):

Use the transfiguration spell on dummies to turn them into animals. Do this for three for each lane to get the gold brick.

Quidditch Field (Normal):

Use the bench in front of the tent to lift yourself up to the top of the tent (You may need the AI to lift you). Run along to the left of the tent and the use Wingardium Leviosa on the little ball.

Quidditch Field (Time-Turner):

Use an animal to dig up the dig spot in front of the band stand and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the band to make them play and the gold brick will appear.

Outside around Hagrid’s Hut:

As you first enter the area you will see some rock slabs (Think Stonehenge). Use Wingardium Leviosa or Lumos to lift them into position and then use Wingardium Leviosa on the sweeping broom to clean the slabs. Clean all three to get the token.

Hagrid’s Garden (Normal):

After you heal Ron with the Salt shaker, the gold brick will appear in the middle of the room.

Hagrid’s Garden (Time Turner):

This is done in stages:

1. Move the head back onto the scarecrow with Wingardium Leviosa

2. Dig in the dig spots with an animal and then destroy all the pumpkins

3. Pull the chain with hagrid and then build the fireplace using Wingardium Leviosa on the pieces

4. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the egg and put it in the fireplace and the gold brick will appear

Near the big Lake:

Use Wingardium Leviosa on the fishing pole to the to get some frogs to appear in the water. Ride one of the frogs through the gap in the poles that appear in the water. Another set will appear. Keep doing this and the gold brick will appear when you ride through the last set of poles.

Owlery (Normal):

On the second level, use Wingardium Leviosa on the feather to tickle the painting. Then use Wingardium Leviosa on the bricks that appear and you'll get the brick.

Owlery (Time Turner):

There are three parcels on the floor, match their colors to the spaces on the wall. Owls will pull them out and you'll get the brick.

Excellent guide, however I'm going to run one suggestion by you. Rather than separating each collectible by type (ie. keeping students in peril separate from gold brings) and then by level, try separating everything by level/area of Hogwarts. That way if someone's missing more than one collectible from level 1-1, they don't have to keep scrolling back and forth and risk missing a collectible by moving too far.

I see where you are comign from, but as this guide is being written by myself and mattvr4 it is difficult joining everything together. Maybe once it is all written I will re arrange the order.

O_o i don't have any characters with dark magic>?

 

i completed the game,. but i need to use dark magic for cabinets,.>?

 

Before you start doing anything I suggest you get yourself a dark character... The first one you can get is Lucius Malfoy during Year 2 level 5.....

Once you have him available you have everything you need to continue through the game...

found dark magic character in year 4 level 1 >> after first cauldron in the front of screen you will put out a fire, jump over the gap and there is a chest with steel lock,. >> Barty Crouch Junior

Neville (Pyjamas) – In the same room as you find the Filch character token, you will see a cabinet. Open this with Dark magic to get Neville.

Level 5

Red: A bit tricky as you are moved on quickly but during the vehicle section there are 5 boxes to smash. They aren’t that hard find, mainly in the path just you cant usually go back if you miss one. You’ll find 2, then scene, 2 then scene and the 5th in the last section before the end.

 

%^^ the 5th is't in the last scene but in the second,. bit tricky,. when jumping from small clif you have to circle back and its in the right upper corner of screen you can easily miss this,.
