At some point or another, you may have come across a game where there are two or more trophy lists thanks to it either being released on separate consoles or in different regions. No matter how you get your stack on, this leaderboard is made to celebrate those with the patience and dedication to play through games more than once for the sake of more trophies, especially the really, really boring and/or expensive ones. Those suck. :p

Not a part of the site? Do you buy and play games multiple times for trophies? Join the forums here!

Rules (Points and Signups):

  • You need at least 100 posts to enter the leaderboard.
  • When signing up, please provide your PSN name, your PSN card from a site such as PSNProfiles or PSN Trophy Leaders, and a list of your stacking games. See below for the format you should use.
  • In regards to points, plats and PSN 100%s count the same.
  • For every plat/100% for a game past the first, you earn one point (e.g., completing the PS3 and PS4 versions of a game gets you one point while completing the US, EU, and JP versions of a game earns you two points.
  • All stacks count, whether it be from console to console or region to region
  • Autopops and cross-buy games do count on this leaderboard, so yes, you can get an easy 5 points from Sound Shapes should you choose to do so. :p
  • Ports, enhanced or otherwise, of existing games do count if they are considered more or less the same game (for example, the PS3 and Vita versions of God of War count as well as Atelier Totori (PS3) and Atelier Totori Plus (Vita)), but remakes of games do not as they are not the same game (for example, Hyperdimension Neptunia and Hyperdimension Neptunia: Re;Birth1, though these examples have regional stacks that do count)
  • If the two versions in question have different lists but are the same game more or less, they both count. You have to do both for the point anyway, so why the hell not? :p
  • There are some games where the method of release makes it unclear how it should count (for example, Danganronpa, for which the two games were bundled together in one list for Japan and separated for two lists in America and China), so consult the Curious Cases section before listing these games. Please consult me if there are other curious cases I should add to the list.

Signup Format:

PSN: MastahStackah

Card: [insert card here]

Games:

Call of Duty: Ghosts (PS3/PS4)

Hyperdimension Neptunia (EN/JP)

Steins;Gate [PS3(JP/Asia)/Vita(JP)]

Leaderboard Organization:

  • The leaderboard will be for the Top 50 only.
  • In the event of a tie, it's down to first come, first serve.
  • If you drop below #50, you must sign up again when you are ready to reenter and kick some other poor soul off.

Updating:

  • To update, just list your PSN name and your new games.
  • In the case of a stack for a game which you already stacked before, please list the new stack in one () followed by the previous stacks in the next ().
  • I will try to update as often as possible.

Curious Cases

Back to the Future: The Game: The PSN release of this game gives each episode its own PSN list whereas the retail version combines all five episodes into a plat list. To count the game for the leaderboard, as each episode is so short and easy and they can be bought as a combo pack on PSN for $20, which is below the cost of the retail game on Amazon, you must complete all PSN episodes as well as the plat for the retail version in order to get a point for this.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift: The EXTEND version of this game has the three DLC characters from the original, however, the trophies regarding the characters are different between the two versions, so as such, a stack for the regular game and EXTEND simply requires you to get both plats.

Broken Sword 5- The Serpent's Curse: After the two episodes were released seperately on Vita, a PS4 version was released, with the 2 PSN lists combined into one, with a plat. To count as a stack, you must obtain the plat and get 100% on both individual episodes.

Danganronpa 1 + 2 Reload: In Japan, Danganronpa 1 and 2 were released as one game with one list called Danganronpa 1 + 2 Reload. For the Chinese and English releases, however, the games were separated and given their own lists. For this game, in order to qualify in the case of the JP release and an EN or CH release, you must have all of that game's trophies completed in the JP version and the plat for the EN or CH version. For example, if you have only the DR1 trophies in the JP version, but you have the English plat for DR1, that counts as one point. If you have all trophies completed in the JP version, any plats you earn from the EN and CH versions of the two games give you points.

Dead Nation: The PS4 edition of this game placed the DLC trophies of the original version into the main list. In order for the PS4 stack to count, you must have the plat from the original version and all of the main game trophies from the Apocalypse Edition.

Dekamori Senran Kagura (Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit): For the Japanese version of this game, there are two separate releases of the game with a different set of characters for each, both allowing the other set to be bought as DLC. Each release has its own list, with the character trophies from the other pack being added as a 10-trophy DLC list. In order to count stacks for the two JP releases of this game, you must have the plat and all 10 DLC trophies for both the Pack A and Pack B lists to qualify. Also note that the version currently available on PSN for NA and EU counts as the Pack A list on PSN, so should the Pack B list ever become available to these regions either through retail form or digitally within those regions, it will count as a stack with the Pack A version.

Also, with the JP retail version having it's own list (holy fucking shit, this game has a lot of lists for one freaking region and console), it should be noted that to count a stack between that and either of the pack lists, you must have both the retail list and the Pack A/Pack B list completed to 100% as the retail list places the two sets of story mode trophies in the main list.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution: The Director's Cut Edition of this game placed the DLC trophies of the original version into the main list. In order for the stack to count, you must have the plat from the original version and all of the main game trophies from the Director's Cut version.

Fifa Games: Due to differences between the console and handheld versions as pointed out by robinworldwide, PS3/Vita and PS4/Vita stacks of these games are not acceptable. However, PS3/PS4 stacks are acceptable.

Killzone 3: There is a MP-only version of this game with its own list that combines the MP trophies from the main game and DLC for KZ3 together along with some unique trophies. In order to get a point for this, you must have all MP trophies from the main game (DLC included) and the platinum for the MP-only version.

Killzone Shadow Fall: Intercept (DLC/100%): In order to get a stack for Killzone Shadow Fall: Intercept, you must both get all of the trophies in that DLC from the main game (no need for the Insurgent expansion trophies) and get all of the trophies from the stand-alone release.

Lego Games: PS3/PS4 stacks of these games are acceptable, but stacks for PS3/Vita or PS4/Vita are not because the games are modified for handheld release to the point where they can be considered different games.

Mamorokun Curse: The EN release of this game placed the DLC trophies of the JP version into the main list. In order for the stack to count, you must have the plat from the Japanese version and all of the main game trophies from the EN version.

Monopoly Family Fun Pack: Along with the pack came two standalone games from the pack with different trophy lists, Deal and Plus. In order for a stack to count, you must complete the standalone title you are signing up for as well as all of the trophies for that game in the Family Fun Pack list. Therefore, as each standalone game has two versions, it is possible to get a maximum of four stacks for this game.

Pixeljunk Monsters (and Encore/Ultimate HD): As there is no way to differentiate between main game and Encore stages for Ultimate HD, you must have the 100% for Ultimate HD and the 100% (DLC included) for Monsters and Encore to get a point for this game.

Pixeljunk Shooter 1/2/Ultimate: In order for the stacks for Pixeljunk Shooter to count, you must have the plat for Ultimate as well as the 100%s for the two games. Each of the two PSN games will count as one each for a total of two points. If you have the plat and one 100%, you will get one point.

Super Stardust HD/Ultra: To count this stack, you must have the platinum in Ultra and all trophies (DLC included) from HD.

The Walking Dead: Season 2: Although the main trophy list only deals with the first episode, given that the game is made up of all 5 episodes, you need the five main episodes of Season 2 completed for both versions to count this. Any future DLC beyond Episode 5 in the vein of 400 Days from the first season will not need to be completed.

- Jak 1 (PS3/Vita)

- PixelJunk Monsters (PS3/Vita) - the game has received a new name for the vita version, but it's essentially the same thing. It's the PS3 core game and the DLC packed together. Similar to Dead Nation Ap. Edition on PS4.

That should be 8 points.

  • For every plat/100% for a game past the first, you earn one point (e.g., completing the PS3 and PS4 versions of a game gets you one point while completing the US, EU, and JP versions of a game earns you two points.

Isn't this virtually the same as the Japan Import thread lol....

When is the leaderboard of people who have made leaderboards leaderboard thread coming?

What's with all the hate? There's a Leaderboard forum for a reason...

Good job W-Dog! I'll check if I have any games and sign up shortly. :)

Considering you actually have to complete two versions of the game and console and other non-JP stacks count, no. :p

It should be fun doing this leaderboard considering that my other leaderboard over on the NISA Forums is dead most of the time anyway because there are huge gaps in it and most people don't earn plats that often. :p

How about "The Peripherals owners leaderboard"?

My last two ideas were "Kid's Game Leaderboard" and "Franchise Tie-In Leaderboard." I decided this would be more interesting.

Oh, and assuming you have all episodes done for BttF on retail and PSN, it counts for 5 points. Like it or not, it is technically five games, same as Danganronpa 1 + 2 Reload is technically two games.
